Latias slowly opens her eyes and gets out of bed. She looks at Bianca, seeing her friend still sleeping. She yawns cutely and stretches for a little before she walks to the door. She starts thinking of what Ash is going to do with her today, as she heads to where his room. She giggles to herself as she decides to wake him up like he's waken her before.
The red and white dragoness quietly opens the door and heads over to where Ash is sleeping. The beautiful dragoness blushes as she admires how handsome the raven haired trainer looks. She sighs contently as she reaches a claw out to gently stroke his hair.
'I am so happy that Ash is here. Thank you, Arceus.' Latias thinks as she starts stroking his cheeks. Ash is still sleeping as she caresses his cheeks, and Latias leans towards his face. She thinks of how cute he looks and moves forward as she kisses his forehead longingly. She holds the kiss for a few moments before she moves away and gently rubs Ash's arm.
"Ashy, it's time to wake up. We have a big day ahead of us and I want to spend as much time with you as possible." Latias says softly as Ash mumbles something and keeps sleeping. Latias giggles softly before she rubs his arm a bit more and says in a louder tone.
"Ashy, don't make me wake you up with water." Latias says giggling as Ash still grumbles and Latias sighs. She thinks for a little before smiling. She leans closer to his face and whispers.
"Ashy, breakfast is ready." Latias says and Ash slowly opens his eyes. He looks at how close Latias is to him and blushes while Latias giggles and kisses his cheek.
"Good morning Ashy. I hope you slept well." Latias says happily while Ash blushes even more.
"G-good morning Latias I did sleep well. Did you say something about breakfast?" Ash says as Latias moves away from him. Latias grins at him as Ash stands up and stretches.
"I did say breakfast was ready to wake you up. But now that you're awake, I thought we could make breakfast together!" Latias says happily as she coos and rubs her cheek against Ash's cheek. Ash smiles and pets Latias on her head while he hugs her gently.
"That sounds like fun. I'd love to cook with you. Let's go!" Ash says as a bit loudly which causes Brock to grumble and Misty to slightly wake up.
"It's way too early in the morning for this Ash. If you wake me up again I will hit you hard. You don't want to see what I'm like when I'm grumpy." Misty says sleepily as Ash gulps and sweats while Latias giggles.
"Alright..sorry Misty." Ash apologizes as he rubs his neck in embarrassment. Misty just mutters something along the lines of "you idiot" as Ash and Latias quietly leave the room.
"So Ashy. What are we going to do today?" Latias asks as they head to the kitchen. Ash starts getting the food and dishes while he smiles at Latias.
"Where's the fun in that? You'll just have to wait and see." Ash says as Latias pouts cutely. Ash just chuckles as he moves to stand beside Latias. She looks at the food and then at Ash curiously.
"So, what do first?" Latias asks. Ash smiles and takes some fruit and then places it front if Latias. He moves behind her and guides her claws as he starts showing her how to cut the fruit.
"First, you need to cut the fruit. Make sure to cut them carefully. Like this." Ash says as Latias blushes as he takes her claws and gently cuts the fruit. Latias starts cutting the fruit as Ash hugs her briefly before he moves to make some sausages.
Ash helps Latias cook, and after a while, they finish breakfast. Ash sets the table while Latias puts the food on the table.
"So Ash. Where are we going after breakfast?" Latias inquired as Ash smiles and moves to pet her head. She coos happily and nuzzles his hand before she goes to finish putting the food on the table.
"Well, I think we are going to just walk around to enjoy the city at first. It's rare that I get to enjoy the beauty of a city like Altomare and relax. Plus, I have such beautiful company." Ash says while winking at Latias. The young dragoness blushes deeply and coos shyly as she gently rubs her nose against his cheek. Ash chuckles at how adorable Latias is being and starts caressing her snout, then resting his forehead against hers as he closes his eyes.
"You really are beautiful, Tia. I will make you the happiest dragoness I can. So just relax and enjoy today, okay? Who knows, maybe if things go well we can go on another 'date' soon." Ash says in a happy tone. Latias just nuzzles his face more in response, even licking his cheek, causing the young man to lightly blush.
"I would like that, Ashy." Latias replies in a soft voice. The two enjoy each other's company for a while longer, until Ash reluctantly moves away from Latias. The beautiful red and white dragoness lets out a soft whimper as Ash pets her head.
"Sorry Latias. But I have to go wake the others up and let them know breakfast is ready. Don't worry, we can continue this later." The raven haired trainer says as he walks to let the others know breakfast is ready.
Latias sighs dreamily as she transforms into her human form and sits in her chair. She closes her eyes and starts picturing her and Ash cuddling, with her in his lap, and then Ash telling her that he loves her. She bites her bottom lip as she imagined him holding her cheeks, looking deeply into her eyes, and then leaning closer as their lips are inches from touching.
"Good morning, Latias!" Bianca says as Latias lets out an adorable squeak and blushes.
"B-bianca! You scared me! G-good morning." Latias stutters. Bianca giggles at how flustered her best friend is and she gets a mischievous smile as she leans closer.
"So, what were you thinking about, Tia?~ It wouldn't be about a certain raven haired trainer, would it?~" Bianca teases as Latias hides her face in her hands.
"I wonder what his lips feel like.~ I wonder how warm his arms are. I think he would be a great kisser, don't you?" Bianca says, still teasing the poor dragoness who is picturing everything Bianca says.
"B-Bianca! Y-yes I was thinking about Ash. B-but it wasn't any of that!" The embarrassed Eon Pokémon stammers as Bianca grins and then leans until she is breathing on Latias's ear.
"If you weren't thinking of any of that, then what WERE you thinking about? Oh my, Latias, you were thinking about THAT, weren't you? Oh you naughty girl.~ What were you thinking he was doing?~ Holding you firmly, as he kisses your neck and lips, and then laying on top of you. Then, as he looks in your eyes, he says he loves you, pins your arms, and-"
"B-BIANCA! T-that's enough!" The extremely red faced dragoness exclaims as she gets out of her chair and tries to not picture what her best friend was saying. As Bianca starts giggling loudly, Bianca squeaks out as she pictures can't help but imagine quite vividly, as Ash claims her as his mate, and she goes extremely red, with her neck and ears red.
"Oh Latias, you should see your face right now! You'd probably have to show him what to do, though, considering he probably wouldn't know what to do." Bianca laughs loudly. Latias tries to form a response, but can't think well after picturing her and Ash doing THAT. Suddenly, she hears someone respond from behind her.
"I don't know how to do what?" Ash asks behind Latias, making Latias nearly squeal with surprise. Latias hugs him tightly as Ash looks confused at Bianca. Brock and Misty walk in the room and sit in their chairs, while they wait for Lorenzo.
"Oh, nothing Ash. I was just saying how Latias would probably have to show you what to do, if you guys became mates. You probably wouldn't know what to do." Bianca says as she smirks at Latias.
"I would know what to do! I'd be the greatest mate ever! She would be extremely satisfied!" Ash says indignantly as Latias nearly faints from embarrassment. She tries to hide in Ash's chest as Brock just chuckles, Misty face palms, and Bianca bursts out laughing. Pikachu runs to Ash and gets on his shoulder, nuzzling his cheek a few times as Ash looks even more confused.
"What's so funny? I'd take really good care of her!" Ash says as Brock just smiles and Latias keeps hiding her face.
'Oh Arceus, make it stop!' Latias pleads as she closes her eyes. Brock decides to stop Ash from embarrassing Latias more as he walks to the confused young man and pats his back.
"Ash, while I'm sure you would be a good mate, that's not what Bianca was talking about. Trust me when I say, you aren't ready for that yet." Brock explains as Ash pouts.
"But what is she talking about?"
"I'll make you a deal. When you get a girlfriend, I'll tell you everything, okay?" Brock says as Ash sighs and nods.
"Okay. But I'd still be ready." Ash mumbles as Brock just chuckles and Lorenzo walks into the room. Latias finally looks at Bianca, who sticks her tongue out and Latias glares with embarrassment at the young artist.
"Alright everyone, now that we are all here, let's eat!" Ash exclaims as everyone sits and they begin eating.
'Today is going to be great, I just know it!' Ash thinks to himself as he smiles.
When the group finishes eating, Ash goes to Bianca to talk to her in private while Brock and Misty leave to visit the city. Lorenzo heads to work as Latias waits near the door, rubbing her arm as Ash finally joins her with a happy expression.
"What were you talking about with Bianca?" Latias asks curiously while Ash just takes Latias's hand and gives it a gentle squeeze. Ash looks into her gorgeous amber eyes, and feels his heart beating faster as he admires how adorable and cute Latias looks.
"Don't worry about it, Tia. I just asked her to do a small favor for me. Now, let's go enjoy our date!" Ash declares as he leads Latias out of the house. Latias blushes and gently squeezes his hand back. She takes some time to just look around and admire how beautiful the city is during the early morning. The dragoness smiles as she looks at Ash.
'He really is handsome. I'm so grateful that I get to spend so much time with him. I know brother would have liked you Ash.' Latias thinks as she blushes when Ash looks at her. She quickly looks away as she tries to hide her blush.
"Latias, I wanted to tell you how much I've enjoyed our time together. It really has made me extremely happy. I know that I still have a lot to make up to you, but I promise that I'll give you all the time and more that you had to wait. I still feel so bad that you had to wait so long for me to remember my promise." Ash rubs his neck while he looks at Latias.
"Ash, I know that you feel like you still owe me a lot, but believe me when I say that the days you've spent with me were more than enough to make up for the time I waited. You make me so happy, and that is enough for me. Being able to see you, spend time with you, and hold your hand is what I've wanted for so long. Stop feeling like that and relax! You're here now and that's what matters." Latias giggles and gives Ash a light kiss on his cheek. The young trainer blushes profusely and stammers a few moments before he goes quiet.
"Thank you Latias. That really means a lot. I just feel like you deserve so much more. You're so sweet, loving, and very beautiful." Ash states as the two close friends arrive at the docks and sit on a bench. Latias smiles and gives Ash's hand a reassuring squeeze. She leans against his shoulder and looks at the beautiful sunrise.
There is a comfortable silence between the two as they enjoy one another's company and the majestic scenery of the ocean, harbor, and sunrise. The sparkling of the sun on the crystal clear water, the lovely shades of red, orange, and yellow in the sky, and the various ships entering the docks. Latias closes her eyes and coos softly as she basks in the warmth of the sunlight and being so close to Ash.
The young man lets go of Latias's hand and places his arm around her body. He pulls her closer as he smiles and glances at her. Latias snuggles closer and sighs happily as Ash softly chuckles.
'She is so cute like this. I could hold her for hours and still want to hold her for longer. I've never felt happier in my life. You really are a treasure Latias. I'll never let anything hurt you. I promise.' The raven haired trainer thinks as he pulls her to lay in his lap.
He begins to stroke her sides as he watches her. Ash looks at her slim yet toned body, taking in the details of how beautiful she looks up close. The curve of her hips, to her luscious ruby hair, and then to her lightly tanned skin. To Ash, Latias is everything he could ever want in someone he loves.
But none of that really matters to the young man, because Ash loves Latias for who she is and her personality. Latias is sweet, kind, innocent, playful, always happy, and makes Ash's heart beat rapidly. She always knows how to make Ash smile, helps Ash feel relaxed, and makes him feel loved.
'I know we haven't spent as much time together, but I know that the longer we are together, the more we will know each other closely. Thank you Latias, for being amazing.' Ash thinks as he closes his eyes to enjoy being close to the gorgeous dragoness.
After an hour of taking a light nap, Ash slowly wakes up and stretches his arms. Latias mumbles a few things and opens her beautiful amber eyes as she looks at Ash. The young dragoness savors the moment as she watches a few pidgey's bathe in a nearby fountain and a few people passing by.
A few of the passerby's smile at her and she smiles back. After a few more minutes pass, Latias gently moves with reluctance and Ash starts to wake up.
"What a nice nap. You really are comfortable to snuggle with, Latias." Ash compliments her happily while Latias smiles and turns only a slight shade of pink. She pecks his cheek and stands up as Ash takes her hand in his.
"Thank you, Ash. You make a comfy pillow!" She giggles and Ash just laughs. The two start walking with Ash beginning to guide her to the park. Along the way, Latias stops to point out various stores and clothing shops that she loves visiting. Ash just smiles and says they could visit the shops another time. She pouts a little before squeezing his hand tighter.
However, unknown to the loving couple, someone is watching them. In the shadows of a nearby alley, a lone figure wearing dark clothes speaks quietly into a radio.
"This is Agent 6. I have visual on the primary target. Target is with only one other person. Permission to engage?"
"Negative, Agent 6. Target is too strong for a direct engagement. Still waiting for reinforcements from our Allies. Orders are to follow target and if the opportunity presents itself, to eliminate the target with no witnesses. But if no clear chance presents itself, do not engage. Proceed with caution. Once the others arrive, a direct confrontation will be authorized."
"Understood. Requesting radio silence."
The shadowy figure waits until the two teens are far enough before he begins following them. The agent constantly looks for chances to engage, however the couple stays near crowds.
"Hey Latias, have you ever thought about seeing the rest of the world?" Ash inquires as they get close to the park. Latias pauses to think about it before looking towards the sea. The wind blows gently, causing her hair to flutter in front of her eyes for a little. Ash finds himself in a trance as he just takes in how the sunlight makes her features stand out even more. The way her cheeks are cute, how her chin is a perfect shape, and how she appears to glow in the sunlight.
"Well, I have been thinking about visiting other regions. I um..watched your matches in each region you went to..you did very well." Latias's words snap Ash from his observations of her. He lightly laughs and rubs the back of his head.
"I'm glad you liked them! Though I could have done better. It's been sometime since I've competed in any league though. That's what I plan on doing in the future. But for the present, I am here for you." Ash says as he looks at the sea and places his hands in his lap.
"I am so happy you are here, Ashy. I have never felt happier in my life! But to answer your question, yes I have. I..wanted you to come back so that I could ask if I could travel with you. To see the world, and cheer you on as you achieve your dreams. Because being by your side, is my dream."
As Ash listens to those words come from Latias, he feels his heart soaring to new heights. The love he feels for the beautiful dragoness reach new depths and he turns her so they are facing each other.
"Latias...you don't know how happy that makes me feel. I would love you to travel by my side. With the new Lati's here, I'm sure you can leave too!" Ash exclaims before pulling her into a tight hug, just closing his eyes as he rests his chin on her head.
"O-oh Ashy..I-if you would let me..can I..tra-" Latias is suddenly cut off as the two hear a loud shout.
"Houndoom, use Flamethrower!"
Ash reacts purely on instinct and pushes Latias down and covers her as he looks around in time to see a very hot Flamethrower barely miss them. He realizes he doesn't have his Pokémon with him and curses under his breath. But he is not going to wait around to let whoever it was got another chance. He quickly helps Latias up and he takes her hand.
"A-ash! What's going on?!" She says in a fearful tone. Ash just takes her hand and pulls her towards another alley that leads into the city and starts running with the red dragoness behind him.
"I don't know Latias. But something tells me that it was meant for one of us or even both! We can't let them get us. I don't have any of my Pokémon with me, so we have to lose him in the crowd!" Ash says in a solemn voice. As he speaks, another torrent of fire comes there way and Ash yanks Latias out of the way. The figure remains hidden in the shadows but the fire keeps coming.
The young man guides the disguised Pokémon around more flames and manages to dodge one that comes close to his head. They finally get far enough to not be in danger of being burnt, and start running fast. The figure recalls his Pokémon and doesn't give chase. Instead he radios in to his superiors.
"This is Agent 6. Target evaded attempts to eliminate. They must have trained in some way. Or gotten extremely lucky. Orders?"
"Return to the base for debriefing. Do not pursue. Did the target identify you or our organization?"
"Negative, sir. I remained in the shadows and didn't give chase."
"Very good. It's imperative that the target remains as uncertain as possible to avoid any counterattack. Intel suggests friends in the city. So be wary. Return to base and await further orders."
"Yes sir." The agents replies before looking around to ensure he was alone before he changes to casual clothes and makes his way to base.
'We will get them. It's only a matter of waiting.' He thinks to himself.
Despite the Agent not giving chase, Ash kept running with Latias.
'Better safe than sorry. The further we are from that person the better.' Ash thinks to himself as they finally reach a open marketplace. He stops and looks with concern at her.
"Okay, I think we are safe here. Are you okay? Did you get hurt?"
"N-no I'm okay. Thanks to you.. B-but it scared me! What do we do now?" Latias says in a soft tone. Ash looks left and right before looking at her.
"We go back home so I can grab some of my Pokémon. I was stupid to travel without them! It could have gotten you hurt or worse!..I'm sorry, Lily. It'll never happen again. Promise. Come on, let's go." Ash says as he runs his hand through his hair and takes a few calming breaths. After moving a little he realizes he doesn't know where they are. He adopts a sheepish look and looks at her.
"Um..do you think you could lead us back home? I sort of..um..don't know where we are. And if I was to follow my instincts, it would probably have us end up either back to where that person attacked us, or even more lost in the city."
Latias giggles at him and gently pecks his cheek before starting to lead the way home. She squeezes his hand in reassurance and glances back at him.
"Of course, Ashy. You saved me so it's the least I can do for the hero of altomare. Just follow me!" The teenage Pokémon replies as Ash just blushes from her actions and smiles. Latias guides Ash through the many streets and paths throughout the city with Ash trying to familiarize himself with the area.
After many years of going in the wrong direction, he had started memorizing layouts of the places he'd go, to both know the way back and to be able to know the best places to train and visit. Following the incident that just happened recently, the young man wanted to be able to lead those he cared about to safety, especially Latias.
'Someone or something is here that means us harm. I have to be more careful and find out what's going on. But maybe it was just someone who was upset. Hmm. For now, I just have to be more observant and carry Pokémon with me at all times.' Ash muses as he absentmindedly follows Latias.
Ash is so caught up in his thoughts that it isn't until Latias squeezes and lightly tugs his hand that Ash comes out of his thoughts.
"Ashy, is everything okay? We are home. You've been really quiet the whole way here." Latias says with slight worry in her voice.
"Oh, I'm sorry Latias. I was just..thinking about what happened." Ash says apologetically. Latias nods and lightly tugs him towards the door.
"Don't worry Ashy. It will be okay. It's over now and everything's okay. We're home now."
"Heh. I suppose you're right Lily. Okay! Let's finish our date! Let me just grab my Pokémon first!
Ash goes to his room and grabs two Pokeballs while Latias waits in the living room. While she waits, Latias notices a note on the table.
'Huh, what's that?' She thinks to herself. The curios Eon Pokémon approaches the table and looks at the note. She giggles and smiles as she reads what it seems Misty wrote.
"Ash, you moron! You can't go on a date without the picnic itself! After you took off with Latias you forgot the food you idiot! You're lucky you weren't here or I'd have smacked you! You don't take a girl on a date and forget the food!! You're lucky we were here. It's in the refrigerator along with some roses for Latias. You better treat her right! See you tonight. Misty."
Latias just giggles at Misty's note and heads over to where Ash is just finishing checking to make sure he has everything.
"Let's see..pokenav, check. Pokédex, check. Pokémon, check. Alright let's go!" Ash exclaims and turns to see Latias smiling at him while holding the note towards him.
"You forgot something, Ashy. You should be happy Misty was here after we left. Though I think you got lucky she wasn't here when we came back." Latias says with a playful tone.
"Why? What did she write?" Ash inquires, taking the note and reading it. Instantly he pales and gulps audibly as sweat forms on his forehead. Latias laughs lightly and Ash just looks at her in a sheepish way.
"O-oh I see what you mean. It's not funny though! Misty's smacks are not funny! They huuurrtt!" Ash groans and walks to the kitchen to grab the food. He takes the basket out and notices there are some chocolates and some Sitrus Berries strudels. Ash smiles to himself and makes a mental note to thank Misty and Bianca for getting the pastries.
The young man takes the basket and grabs a blanket. After making sure he has everything he walks to Latias and grins.
"Alright! Are you ready to go? I made sure I have everything this time!"
"Yes! I'm so excited! I'm sooo hungry!" Latias exclaims. They hear both of their bellies growl, causing both of them to blush then laugh.
"You aren't the only one! Let's go!" Ash says.
'I hope Bianca found the place. I'm going to make the rest of the day great! Nothing can ruin this!' Ash happily thinks to himself as the two head towards the park.
Meanwhile, in a hidden base within the city, Agent 6 is speaking to the leaders of the base. Three men in dark cloaks sit around a table as Agent 6 finishes his report.
"The target is well trained it seems. We have to be more careful. Agent 6, you are to deploy surveillance drones to monitor the situation. Do not engage whatsoever with the target until reinforcements arrive." One of the leaders say.
"They should be here in time for the event. We have a plan ready for this. Keep a look out for the secondary target as well." One of the other figures continues.
"We have a undercover operative that is gathering intel and will report tomorrow. They have very important information regarding both targets. Those are your orders." The main leader says.
"Yes sirs." Agent 6 says as he bows and leaves. The figures look at each other and start discussing everything Agent 6 told.
"This will be very delicate. We have to be very careful. Send a few units to make sure that our undercover operative is able to arrive safely. Soon, we will have our revenge!" The leader exclaims as they all start laughing evilly.
It's been some time since an update. I feel like this a bit rushed and I know it seems repeated from earlier. But they didn't actually go on a picnic yet! I have a few ideas for the battle scenes as well! But I hope this is decent enough! Like I said in my A/N, any advice is welcome!
