Detective Kendall has gathered as many stars as he possibly could. Cody is sitting against the wall recovering from a panic attack from hearing about Maxwell. Orton is standing with both Colt and Punk, Cena on the opposite side of the room. Candice, Tommaso, and Zelina are all huddled together.
"Okay, everyone!" Kendall shouts, grabbing the attention of everyone. "We have the security footage from Adam Cole's house and have confirmed that Donovan Danhausen was there, which leads me to believe that Cornette was there as well."
"Do we know what set off the alarm?" Bobby asks.
"That would be Donovan," Kendall says.
"I'm actually going to kill him this time," Ace says.
"Papa, calm down," Angels says.
"Now, Alan, I understand that you and Donovan had a different experience with Cornette than Bryce and Dalton, is that correct?" Kendall asks. Angels looks over at his brothers, sighing. Well, there was no hiding it any longer. He knew that by telling them it would only make the guilt that much worse.
"It started when I was 2 and Donovan was 10," Angels says. "I had a tantrum and he locked me in the basement. Locked Donovan in his closet for calling Papa Ace. After that, it was only sometimes, but once Dad left him and I had to go stay with him, it got worse. Much worse. I didn't tell anyone about it."
"What…why didn't you say anything?!" Dalton shouts. "Why didn't you tell me?!" He asks, pushing Ace hard.
"It wasn't my decision, Dalton," Ace says. "It was his."
"I'm sorry, I'm so sorry," Angels says, sobbing into his hands.
"Oh, God, Aleister…" Zelina says. "He has a fear of enclosed spaces! If they find out…"
"Hey, it's going to be fine," Candice says.
"Why did they want Max?" Cody asks.
"I don't know," Kendall says. "But it is obvious that the ones helping may have requested some of the others that weren't involved in this. We know that Gargano was the one Zack helped backstage and then sent the text to Trent. Zack also emailed Hunter and Stephanie the list of names. Murphy was the one that got the main ones fired. We believe that Brandon was a way to get back at the Elite. As far as the others, I think they may have just wanted to hurt them."
"Kevin…always had it out for me," Daniels says. "He may not have wanted him then but he…now that he has him…I don't want to think about what he's going to do."
"We all know who our dad wanted, right? It pretty fucking obvious," Luchasaurus says.
"He knows hurting Cash hurts me more than anything," Dax says.
"I don't know, Silas has so many he likes," Dalton says. "But they are all ROH guys. I mean I guess maybe Roderick, he always liked him."
"Okay, this is a start," Kendall says. "Uh, hold on."
"Sir, Ethan Page is on his way," Ryder says. "He said that he got a phone call from Donovan saying that he wasn't willing and that they had Cole."
"Donovan happen to say where they were?" Kendall asks.
"No, sir, wouldn't tell him," Ryder says.
By the time Ethan arrives it is well after midnight.
"This is so fucked," Ethan says as he walks in being welcomed by Donovan's brothers.
"I know," Bryce says.
"Why him? Why involve him?" Ethan asks.
"Because he knew he could manipulate him. He couldn't have pulled this off just by himself," Bryce says.
"How…how's everyone else holding up? Scorpio okay?" Ethan asks.
"As well as one would expect," Dalton says. He looks behind him when he hears Zelina shriek and drop her phone. Whatever was on her phone, really spooked her. Dalton picks up her phone looking at it, his stomach turning at the sight. He looks over at Pat Buck and Dolph who are also holding their phones in shock. Angels is the last one to react, dropping his phone going over to the trash can and throwing up.
"I knew it," Angels says. Dalton gently sets Zelina's phone on the coffee table slowly approaching, the other two looking at the screen in absolute horror and disgust. Dalton leans over to see a video of Donovan trapped in what looks like a chest of some sort.
"They installed a camera in it?" Ethan asks. "Fuck, he looks so scared." The video abruptly ends when Donovan passes out.
