A/N: I saw that in an upcoming episode of SVU, Carisi's mother will be introduced. Her name is Serafina and I guess she will be played by Beverly D'Angelo. I'll refer to her by her name. I don't own any of the characters except my own.
The rest of the week went by quickly. It was Friday again and Amanda and Sonny's big day. Beth Anne had come in the night before. She had been in contact with Olivia and Serafina. Once Amanda and Sonny had gone for the day, everyone else was pretty much done for the day as well. Beth Anne had Jesse with her and they had come in to the Precinct right after Amanda and Sonny left.
"Do they suspect anything?"
"I don't think so. They arranged to have the dinner afterwards at the Pub but they think they did it. They picked out what food they wanted but they don't know how many people are actually coming."
"It seems strange that I haven't even met my soon to be son-in-law's family yet and they're marrying today."
"To be honest, I hadn't met the Carisis until this past Sunday. I had met his sister Bella because of a case involving her then fiancé. Hank and I met Dominick and Serafina at the Pub, so they could meet the Tuckers and try the food."
"He has 3 sisters, right?"
"Yes. Beth Anne, you remember Fin, right?"
"Yes. How are you, Fin?"
"I'm good."
"This is Sergeant Shauna Harrison, Detective Erin Halstead and Detective Jeff Harrison, who's Shauna's husband. This is Amanda's mother Beth Anne."
"It's nice to meet y'all."
"You too."
"Erin is my husband's daughter, so she's actually my daughter now too."
"How long have you been married now, Olivia?"
"In December, it'll be 2 years."
"Amanda told me how supportive you and your husband were when she was attacked last year. Thank you for letting them stay with you."
"I just wanted her to be safe. My husband is retired from the Chicago Police Department and very protective of the people he cares about. Noah and Jesse are close and she's also close with our daughter Rachel and our grandson Daniel. Last year when we had the ice storm and the city was shut down, we had Jesse and Frannie. Hank had taken Frannie out and fell on the ice. She barked until Jeff, who's our neighbor came over and helped him up. Hank wanted to get a dog after that. We now have two Black Labs."
"That's great. This one is so excited about the wedding."
"I bet. She's crazy about Sonny."
"I could tell that when they came to visit me this summer. Amanda always had a habit of getting into relationships with the wrong men. Sonny seems like he loves her for who she is. That was obvious at the baby shower I had for her when she was pregnant with Jesse. He stepped up and became a dad to Jesse as well even though he didn't have to."
"Jesse sweetie, stay with Uncle Fin, ok?"
"Ok."
Jesse went over to Fin and then Olivia and Beth Anne went into her office.
"You know about Jesse's dad, right?"
"I do. An undercover cop that was killed or something."
"I was a little shocked when she first told me just like I was shocked when she first told me that she was in love with Sonny. I never had much luck with relationships myself until Hank. I'm still close to my ex prior to Hank. Ed is married to my half-sister Diana, who's a friend of Hank's. I loved Hank longer than I wanted to admit. I think Amanda was the same way with Sonny."
"I know she didn't love Jesse's father."
"She said she wasn't sure what she was thinking."
"Contrary to how I might act towards her, I do love her and I want her to be happy. This is the happiest I have seen her."
"I just want today to be perfect for them."
"Kimberly won't be around. I'm not even sure where she is. I want today to be all about Amanda and Sonny."
"Good."
They walked out of Olivia's office just as Serafina was coming in.
"Olivia."
"Serafina, hi. This is Beth Anne Rollins, Amanda's mother. Beth Anne, this is Serafina Carisi."
"It's nice to finally meet you."
"You too."
"Hello, Miss Jesse."
"Hi Nana 'Fina"
"This is Fin Tutuola, Shauna Harrison, Erin Halstead and Jeff Harrison. This is Serafina Carisi."
"I've heard a lot about all of you from Sonny. I just wish I had met Olivia sooner. I know you helped Tommy."
"Until I met you and your husband, the only people from Sonny's family I met was Bella and Tommy."
"Dominick and I enjoyed meeting you and your husband. We also appreciate everything you've done for Sonny."
"He's a great guy and he has such a big heart."
"I second that. Amanda and I have never had a great relationship but that has a lot to do with her sister. I want her to be a better mother to her children than I was to her and Kim."
"I understand. He has always had a big heart. At first, we weren't sure how we felt about him being involved with Amanda but the more we got to know her and Jesse, the more we loved them. I must say, he loves being a dad. He is crazy about that little girl and he's looking forward to their child being born as well."
"I'm just glad she found someone who loves her for who she is and doesn't care about her past. Like I said, I want her to be a better mother to her children than I was to my girls."
"I can understand that. I never had the best relationship with my mother either. Noah and Rachel and our grandchildren are my entire life."
"Olivia, will the rest of your family be there? We're looking forward to meeting your grandchildren."
"They'll be there."
"How many do you have?"
"We have 4. Hank's late son has 2 boys and a girl and Erin and her husband have one daughter. When Hank's daughter-in-law remarried, they wanted us to be grandparents to their daughter, since Trevor, who I've known for years, doesn't have a dad. They felt that if the other 3 were going to be spending time with us, Maggie should too."
"That does make sense."
"We love her as much as we love the others."
"How old are they?"
"Daniel is 3, Nicole and Justin are about 22 months, Camille is about a year and Maggie is 5 weeks."
"It sounds like they're all a handful."
"They are. How much of your family is coming?"
"Just the 8 of us as far as I know. We may have something with the rest of the family later. I don't think my older daughter are bringing the latest rich guys in their lives but with them, who knows? They both prefer men who make 6 figures or more. Tommy, Bella and their daughter will be there and so will my oldest granddaughter Mia, Teresa's daughter."
"Ok."
Everyone headed out and went to get ready. The Voights and Halsteads headed to the courthouse together. Once everyone arrived, they all headed to Judge Linden's chambers, so Amanda and Sonny got married and then everyone headed over to the Pub. Trevor, Olive and the kids met them there as did Ed, Diana and the kids. As soon as Olivia saw Trevor and Olive, she went over to them. Olivia introduced them to all the Carisis and Beth Anne. Beth Anne and the Carisis went to find their tables.
"Two of Carisi's sisters have a thing for men who make 6 figures or more."
"Oh, lovely. Should I be worried?"
"Nope."
Trevor kissed Olive and then Olivia went over to where Diana was.
"How was the wedding?"
"It was great. I see there's a new bartender."
"He is kind of cute and he does keep winking at me."
"You ok?"
"I'm a little tired. I probably should have just stayed home."
"It takes a while."
"I know."
Ed brought Olivia a glass of wine.
"Thank you. Am I supposed to give you a tip?"
"Nah. Drinks are on the house. The Carisis paid for an open bar
Then Hank came over.
"You takin' drink orders?"
"Sure. A Manhattan, right?"
"Yep."
Ed went to get Hank a Manhattan, while Hank sat down next to Olivia. Erin, Jay, Olive and Trevor joined them. When Ed brought Hank his Manhattan, he found out what everyone else wanted.
"Where are the kids?"
"Colleen took them upstairs, so we just have this one."
Maggie started fussing, so Olive looked in the diaper bag for a bottle.
"We didn't bring any bottles."
"Oops. Sorry."
"That's ok. The twins were distracting both of us before we left, since they wouldn't get dressed."
"Let us take the 3 of them tonight."
"Sure."
Olive kissed Trevor and went somewhere more private, so she could nurse Maggie. While she was gone, Amanda and Sonny had come in and were surprised to see everyone.
"Wow! We weren't expectin' this."
"You better be good to her, Carisi or I'm gonna kick your ass."
"I don't doubt that, Fin."
Olivia rolled her eyes and shook her head.
"Boys will be boys."
"That's for sure."
Amanda and Sonny came over.
"Thanks for this, Liv."
"You're welcome. Both mothers helped out too. The open bar is courtesy of the Carisis."
"Why am I not surprised with that?"
"I'm sure my mother is happy with free booze. The best thing about today besides marrying Sonny and being able to celebrate with the people we love is no Kimberly."
"I did tell your mother that I didn't want anything to ruin this day for you. She said Kim wouldn't be here."
"She apparently has no idea where she is at the moment anyway. Where's Jesse?"
"All the kids went upstairs with Colleen. Olive has Maggie but went to feed her. Carisi, I wish I had met your mom sooner. Hank and I met her and your dad here for dinner on Sunday, so they could meet the Tuckers and try the food."
"Thanks for allowing her to enjoy the day."
"No problem. I figured she would much rather be able to celebrate her only son's marriage than have to worry about feeding everyone."
"We knew we wanted to have somethin' here because the Tuckers have become family. We were just expectin' the squad, your family and both of our families."
"We wanted to include the Friday night group too."
"We're glad you did."
"I see Tucker is the bartender."
"He is."
Amanda and Sonny both hugged Olivia and went to get drinks. They brought the appetizers out, so everyone sat down. Olive came back and Colleen brought the kids downstairs. Before they brought the meal out, Olivia did the toast on behalf of the squad and both mothers did one as well. They brought the good out and then everyone ate. Amanda and Sonny talked to as many of the guests as they could and thanked them for sharing their special day with them.
Olive and Trevor told Hank and Olivia that Trevor would bring the kids over. They went to say goodbye to Amanda and Sonny, who thanked them again for allowing them to stay at their house in the Hamptons and then they headed home. Hank, Olivia, Erin, Jay and the kids said goodbye to everyone and headed home as well. After Hank and Olivia left, Diana had gone upstairs, while Ed was helping with the dishes and fell asleep. Everyone else started leaving as well. Amanda and Sonny had already had their bags packed and in the car, so they left for a few days in the Hamptons. Beth Anne was staying with Jesse and Frannie until they got back.
When the Voights and Halsteads arrived at the house, the kids were asleep. Erin took Camille in and went to get her ready for bed, while Hank and Jay took Rachel and Noah in and got them ready for bed. Olivia went into her and Hank's bedroom and got ready for bed. Noah and Rachel had both woken up long enough to go to the bathroom and brush their teeth and then they went to bed. Jay went to kiss Camille goodnight and then he joined Erin in their bedroom. Hank let the dogs out and waited for Trevor to drop Daniel and the twins off. He called when he got closer and said they had fallen asleep, so Hank came out to meet them. Hank took Daniel inside, while Trevor carried the twins. They were already ready for bed, so all they needed to do was put them down. Trevor went out to get their stuff. He brought it into Hank and then he left to head home. Hank locked up and then looked in on all the kids. Stormy and Misty were in their places on Noah and Rachel's beds. He went into the bedroom and was hoping Olivia was awake but she was already sound asleep. He got ready for bed and got into bed with Olivia. He wrapped his arms around her and kissed her head before he fell asleep.
A little while later, Ed went up to get Diana and the kids to head home but they were already asleep. He left them there and headed home, since someone needed to let Lola out. Once he got home and let Lola out, he went to bed and had Lola in with him.
The next morning, Hank and Olivia woke up and had 5 kids and 2 dogs in bed with them.
"Never a dull moment around here, is there?"
"Nope. I miss having these 3 around all the time but I'm glad Olive is happy."
"Me too. Things went well yesterday I thought."
"I thought they did too."
"I hope they're as happy as we are. I love you so much."
"I love you too."
Hank and Olivia started kissing and then the kids woke up.
"Ew!"
"Ew?"
The kids started giggling and then everyone got up. Hank went into the bathroom, while all the kids went to the bathroom too. Hank took the kids downstairs to fix breakfast and let the dogs out, while Olivia went to the bathroom. Erin and Jay got up and joined them. Ed had texted Olivia and then she invited him over for breakfast.
After breakfast, Ed left to go to his parents' to pick up Diana and the kids, while the Voights and Halsteads decided what they were doing. Hank and Jay both drove and then they took Daniel and the twins home later. The remainder of the weekend was pretty quiet for everyone.
