Dimitri: "after I beat my dad, I found myself in this mobster place. I met abe there. I asked him to do me a favour and keep my abusive father away from my family and Russia."
Rose: "and he just agreed?"
Dimitri: I dueled with him, and won multiple times against him. at the end we made a deal. My father never set a foot in Russia and since then I owe abe a favour"

Rose: "you will stay here. Do not leave this place until I come back! You can do anything you want. Ivan stay with him and keep him company, I don't mind. Just don't leave until baba has this all under control!"

Kirova: "Rose… for the past 6 years, you only had Vasilisa's future in your hands but now, you have someone else depending on you too…"
Rose: "I know that dimitri's future is in my hands right now, he cant catch up a year's training without a mentor."
Kirova: "you and Vasilisa have a very special bond! But if you decide to leave her right now, there's a way you can get her again… later."
Rose: "I don't quiet understand what you're saying…"

Rose: "I said yes to Kirova"
Dimitri: "to what?"
Rose: "to just be your mentor. I quit my post as lissa's guardian"

DPOV-
I pulled back from her embrace as soon as I heard those words escape her mouth.
I looked at her with my eyes wide with shock "what did you just say?"
She looked nervous now "um- I said that I quit my post as lissa's guardian…" she muttered
How could she do that?
I mean- don't get me wrong, im BEYOND elated! But she shouldn't have done that!
"why would you do that, Roza?" I asked her indecorously
Hurt washed over her face "d-did you not want that?"
"I did! I do! But just because I need you doesn't mean you have to quit your job!"
She let out a deep sigh and walked past me, slumping down the couch "don't worry bout that… I've got it all under control" she said in a low voice.
I crossed my arms over my chest "oh yeah? And how's that?"
I was surprised after she told me the whole Kirova-advise thing.
I have to say, Kirova's plan is good and It could actually work but that doesnt mean that Rose had to say yes right away!
"listen… I know you meant good. and I too think that Kirova's plan is good, but why did you have to hurry? You should've think about this a little more before making that decision." I tried to reason "and what about lissa? How will you explain that you are no longer her guardian?"
"I havent thought that one through. But I know she'll understand." Rose said "anyways… where's Ivan?"
"he left a while ago, to meet vika… apparently they are on 'talking-without-screaming' terms again." I said chuckling
Roza chukled too "its nice that ivan wont be roaming around like a depressed sulken old man anymore" she joked
"are you hungry?" I asked trying to change the topic
"shouldn't I be the one asking you that?" she smirked
I let out a small laugh "I was just about to pop a pizza in the oven. We could share" I suggested
"well… I can never say no to pizza!" she said grinning
I got up and went to the kitchenette, I was shocked when I opened her fridge "what is this!?" I asked her.
"what?" she questioned, getting up from the couch and coming towards me
I turned around facing a confused Rose, who was standing right in front of me "why is your fridge empty?" I demanded
"empty?" she asked. I opened the door again to show her the contents inside.
"there are 5 boxes of pizza, orange juice and an apple!" she said shrugging "its not empty comrade."
"that's the point! It has pizzas and a box of juice! Why do not have actual food in your house, Rose." I said "you cant just live off pizzas!"
She huffed "stop talking like lissa or chris, Dimitri. I do not have 'actual' food because im barely ever home! And those pizzas are good enough to last me forever."
"don't you ever go grocery shopping?" I asked her
"I do! That's where I get those pizzas from!" she argued
"no. actual grocery rose! Like fruits, vegetables, milk?"
"as I said! im barely ever home! And plus I don't know how to cook! Now. Can we please just eat already!" she begged
"fine" I said taking out the pizza and popping it in the oven.
"tell me. how was your day?" rose asked me.
We were sitting on the sofa next to each other. Rose had her tired face resting on her knees
"it was actually good. Ivan and I watched Netflix and drank coffee." I said smiling "I hadn't seen Netflix in ages!"
She chuckled "well that's nice! What did you guys watch?"
"suits… we love that show!"
"ah! I love it too actually. Mason and I always used to watch it on the weekends! What season are you on?"
"season 3"
"oooo… you want spoilers!" she chided
"NO Roza! Don't spoil it for me!"
She had an evil smirk on her face, she isnt gonna let it go this easily, is she?
"awwww! You know you want em, comrade!"
Actually I do… the storyline was going veryyyyy slowly in the show.
"no I don't" I lied
"oh please don't lie to me comrade!" she exclaimed laughing glad someone's enjoying this "I know you inside out!"
I huffed "no you don't"
"is that a challenge, Dimitri?" she smirked.
I just shrugged. "ok! You always blink whenever you lie!" she said "see?! I know you."
"wait- I do not blink whenever I lie, okay!" I defended myself
"you are doing it, right now!" she said innocently
Wait! Do I ?
I mean I did blink when I said I don't want any spoilers…
"just one spoiler. Pleaseeeeee!" rose looked at me with puppy eyes. This woman is going to be the death of me!
"fine! But just one!" I said surrendering.
"okay!" she jumped clapping her hands in excitement, I just chuckled at her childish behaviour. If this is what takes Roza to be happy, I wouldn't mind if she gave me 15 spoilers…
"who's your favourite character?" she asked smirking
Oh I know what she's gonna do! She's going to give a spoiler about my favourite character!
"uhh… Rachel Zane…" I lied. I don't like Rachel- I mean she's fine. But I just loveee Donna. She's the best character ever!
"hm. Touché" she muttered shrugging
"okay! Here it goes do-"
Ding!
The oven bell interrupted her. I breathed out a relaxed sigh, looks like we wont be having this conversation after all!
She got up with a smirk on her face "Donna and Louis get married!" she shouted and ran to the kitchenette, laughing.
My jaw dropped on the floor…
What did she just say?
Louis and Donna?
DONNA AND LOUIS?!
NO FUCKING WAY!
I sprang up from the sofa
"you are joking right!" I said pointing my index finger at her
She just shrugged her shoulders and she bent down taking out our steaming pizza.
"Roza… don't shrug. Please tell me you're kidding!" I warned her as I walked upto her.
She turned around facing me, a playful expression on her face "uh- sure, I mean whatever makes you sleep better at night!" she said and went past me to take out the plates.
I ran a hand through my hair "don't worry, it doesn't come yet. I mean- you're not even halfway yet" I could see that she was trying not to laugh.
"how could you do that to me!" I exclaimed like a kid
"what? You asked for it!" she said taking out 2 cans of diet coke from the fridge
"no I didn't! you forced me!"
She chuckled as she picked up the stuff and set them on the coffee table "I did no such thing"
"but- how? How could louis and donna do that! they don't deserve each other!" I questioned following her "why would they do that! I mean- Donna deserves Harvey!"
Call me a crazy fangirl but I was genuinely upset. This was the only show I liked, and now its ruined!
Rose stopped laughing as she studied me for a while and then made her way towards me.
"hey…" she mumbled softy as she places a hand on my cheek "Im sorry okay… and no- they don't get married!"
My face lit up "wait- really!?"
"yeah!" she said chuckling lightly
"but then why did you say that?"
"well… I kinda wanted to see your reaction. Im sorry I shouldn't have." She said softly "let's eat"
I just nodded.
We sat on the sofa and began tearing the slices and putting it on our plates and started eating in silence.
A very comfortable silence….
One thing that never cease to amaze me was Rose's appetite.
The time when I first saw her in the dining hall, her plate was full with loads of food; healthy and junk. Mostly junk
And she actually ate all of it!
And now she's on slice no. 4 while im halfway on my second slice.
its not bad or anything, infact its quiet amazing…
Roza actually eats food, like actual food! She's not like those girls who are on a diet and just eat salad or some smoothie for survival. She has quiet an appetite.
"okay, say it!" Rose's voice brought me back to her apartment. I quickly averted my eyes from her, god! I was staring at her!
"say what?" I asked confused
"that I eat too much!" she shrugged
"I- yes- I mean- No! I mean you do! But I don't think its bad or anything. Its quiet nice actually- not like the others!" I rambled nervously
Way to go Dimitri!
"others?" she asked with her eyebrows raised in confusion
"I- yeah… I mean other girls… most of them just eat boiled things and salads…"
"hmm… I don't like salads or boiled things. They're not food, they're torture" she said smiling
"I know right!"
After we were done with dinner, we slumped down on her sofa and talked about random things.
Rose was actually very fun. Not like I had a doubt or anything. I just feel very open and comfortable with her, she never judges, never corrects me… she's like a friend I never had, maybe more than a friend but im working on it. We both were sitting very closely, I could feel the warmth of her snuggly jumper as we talked or laughed…
It was 10 pm now (morning for humans) I know its very late to stay at a teacher's house but she didn't say anything… and im way too comfortable to leave this place anytime soon.
We talked about her school days a little, and I told her a few things about my life back in Russia…
And before I knew, I had drifted off to slumberland…
RPOV-
My phone's ringing woke me up from my heavenly sleep, I havent slept this well in ages!
I let out a small groan as I opened my eyes a little and saw my messages flooding on my phone. i glanced up at the clock, it was midnight (high noon for humans) I picked up my phone from besides me.
5 messages from Mase!
3 messages from Eddie!
What do these people want from me at this hour.
As I let out a loud frustrated groan, something stirred besides me. I turned my head and saw the most heavenly sight ever…
Dimitri was sleeping, his hands wrapped around my waist pulling me very close to him, his face was buried in the crook of my neck. I felt his hot breath on my neck which gave me goosebumps, our legs were entangled with each other.
In short we were practically cuddling!
I averted my eyes from him to my phone.
Mase- rose! Where are you?
Alberta called you for night duty!
Reply quickly!
Get your ass here now!
NOW!
Oh shit!
Today's my night shift! How could I be so stupid!?
I opened Eddie's messages and they were the same as mason. I quickly replied to both of them and tried getting up, but Dimitri's hold just got tighter on me.
Oh trust me comrade! I would love to this, but not right now!
After a lot of struggles I finally got out of the sofa and ran to my room.
Thank vlad! I didn't change into my night wear. I was still wearing my jumper and jeans from earlier. I quickly finger-combed my hair and tied it up in a ponytail.
After that I strapped on my sheath and put my silver stake in it and kept the other one hidden under my jumper.
I picked up my blanket and walked out of my room.
Dimitri was now lying down on my sofa, I quickly covered him up with the blanket.
A smile crept up on my face. He looks so adorable and peaceful while sleeping…
I kissed his cheek and then wore my black boots.
Just as I was done someone knocked on my door.
Fuck!
Its mason! Or eddie…
Oh god! Cant they just wait for a minute!?
They knocked again.
Oh shit! They are going to flip if they see Dimitri in my apartment!
I slowly walked over to Dimitri and slowly covered his face with the blanket. Ill just lie and make something up if they ask!
Its mason and eddie… they will understand.
"coming" I said softly and slowly turned the door knob around and opened the door a little so they can see just my face.
And I made the biggest mistake by not checking the peephole…
I froze when I saw the person standing infront of me…
What the fuck is he doing here?
At this time?
How did he even knew where I lived?
Oh vlad! Save me…
I took a deep breath before saying…
"Lord Ivashkov, how can I help you?"

they are definitely growing closer, but people are planning to keep them apart…
