It was three months until she saw Stephen once again. Ever since the party, he seemed to be avoiding her. If he entered a room and she was there, he'd apologize and leave immediately. Should she walk in on him talking to the others, he'd completely ignore her and act as if she wasn't there. It annoyed her not knowing what it was she did. Did he find out she was an Omega? Was that why he refuse to even acknowledge her? But how did he find out? But that would have been impossible right? Between Nat, Steve, and Tony her scent had been hidden.

The alphas assured to scent mark her every morning to avoid any detections. To the outsiders, she smelled like her alphas. Of course that brought on a whole new set of questions. But those she could handle. So what drove the alpha away from her?

"We're here!" Peter jumped out of the car, opening the back door for MJ and Adhara. "We will get the tickets. You guys get the snacks."

"Will do. Tony gave me his card." She held up the black card. "His exact words being 'go crazy'." Following MJ to the snack bar, we ordered a few drinks, popcorn, and sweets. The guys were still in line for the tickets, so they opted on taking a seat at the tables. "Hey, can I ask you something?"

"Sure."

"Are they hiring where you work?"

MJ frowned. "Yeah, they need another person. You looking for a job?"

"I've been living with Tony and the others for five months now. I hate living off them. I want to be able to earn my own money."

"And Mr. Stark would be okay with that?" She asked. "I know being an...omega..." she whispered the word to avoid anyone from hearing. "They are very keen on keeping you close to them."

Adhara groaned, knowing the young alpha was right. "True, I'd have to talk to them. Preferably all together."

"Hello, ladies." Both girls turned as two young men approached them. By their scent, they were both Alphas. "Mind if we join you?"

"Yes." MJ snapped.

"Not interested in you." The oldest sneered at her, turning his attention to Adhara. "You, on the other hand, have a very intriguing smell. Never encounter one like it."

MJ's eyes widen taking a whiff of the air. "We need to go, movies starting soon." Shoving the male's back, she grabbed Adhara by the arm and hurled her towards the bathroom. "Stay in one of the stalls. I'll have Peter call Mr. Stark."

"What? Why?"

"You're omega scent." She whispered. "It's overpowering the others. If we don't get you home, it will drive the males into a frenzy trying to find the source. And then we will be in trouble." Feeling the fear waving off the omega, she pulled her into a tight hug. "I won't be gone for more than a minute. I'm going to get the others and come back."

"O-okay." Walking into the bathroom, she braced herself against one of the sinks. Looking into her reflection, Adhara felt the disgust rising once more. "Pathetic useless omega."

"I wouldn't call it useless."

Snapping around at the sound of a male, she growled. "W-what are you doing in here?"

"I had my suspicions the moment I caught your scent. You smelled of various alphas, but you yourself had no scent." He took a few steps forward. "Not until after when it began to manifest. And still, I couldn't pinpoint what you really were."

She looked around for anything she could use. "You need to leave."

"Then I remember." A predatory smile appeared on his lips. "Years ago I encountered an omega that had a similar scent to you. And man was that the best I have ever had."

Adhara remembered the training Nat had done with her. She knew all the weak spots, but they haven't gotten around to the possibility of fighting an alpha. One of the major weaknesses of an unmated omega was the alpha. She needed to get away from him. His scent was getting stronger clouding her mind. "Please..."

"Please what?" He grabbed her wrist pinning them above her. "You begging already?"

She cringed at feeling his tongue run up her neck. "Let go!" Her omega side was whimpering, calling out for anyone to help. She couldn't do anything. He was stronger than her and she nearly submitted to him. Closing her eyes in fear of his teeth running along her skin, she yelped at his sudden departure.

Opening her eyes she was at a loss for words. Stephen stood in front of her with the other alpha staggering to his feet. It appeared he had been tossed against the wall. Cloak flew off Strange and wrapped itself around her shoulders.

"Take her with Peter." Stephen ordered.

Adhara was carried out by the cloak, leaving the two alphas in the restroom. "Wait! Go back they are going to kill each other!"

"Adhara!" Peter pulled her into a hug, before inspecting her for any injuries. "Are you alright? Are you hurt?"

"N-no I'm fine. Dr. Strange got there before he could try anything." She kept her gaze on the doors, waiting for him to step out.

"Before who tried anything?" MJ frowned. "Where is Strange?"

"I-oh." She realized they must've not seen him creep into the bathroom. "Moment after you left, that creep from before walked into the bathroom. He-uh-well he licked my neck."

"What?!" MJ growled.

"I'm going to skin him alive!" Peter hissed stomping towards the door, staggering back at Strange stepping out. "Dr. Strange, sir." He bared his neck at the uncontrollable scent Strange was releasing.

But the sorcerer wasn't paying him any intention. Nor was he aware of his lack of control. Instead, his gaze fell on the omega wrapped in the cloak. Walking towards her he spoke no words, simply grabbed her by the waist, and opened a portal to his bedroom. Carrying her to his bed, he laid her down and tucked her in.

"Doc-"

"Get some rest." He whispered. "You may not feel it now, but your adrenaline will wear down and pull you down with it."

She reached out before he could walk away. "T-thank you. For saving me back there."

"Anytime." Leaving forward he cupped her jaw, caressing her cheek before giving her a gentle kiss on the forehead. "Get some sleep, I'll be here when you wake up."

"Promise?" Her eyes were already closed snuggling into his sheets.

"Yeah."

Tony banged on the door of the sanctum. "He thinks he can just take my pup. He's in for the fight of his life." Banging on the door once more, he yelled. "Open the door you asshole!"

"Tony!" Rogers sighed. "Calm down, remember Adhara is in there."

"I know that captain obvious. That's the whole reason we are here in the first place." Tony hit the doors again.

Nat grabbed Tony's hand, pulling him away. "He means you might be scaring her. She was just attacked by an alpha. You banging on the door, releasing your scent and yelling isn't going to help her."

Tony winced at realizing she was right. "Didn't think about that."

"Nothing new there." Steve muttered.

"Why are you even here?" Tony growled. "She doesn't even like you!"

"She likes me!" Steve jumped to his defense. "She says I give the best hugs!"

"Best than mine?" He scoffed. "In your icicle dreams!"

"I'm surrounded by children." Nat knocked on the door, gasping at suddenly being inside the sanctum. "That's new."

"Why didn't that happen before?" Tony asked.

"Try not banging on the doors next time." Wong stood at the top of the stairs. "What can I do for you?"

"Wong my old friend!" Tony grinned. "Where's Strange?"

Wong sighed. "I suppose the omega is a part of your pack?"

"Om-you know?" Steven asked.

The sorcerer laughed. "The whole sanctum smells of her."

"Where is she?" Tony had dropped the friendly act, his alpha surfacing.

Wong glanced to his left with a wary look. "She's in Stephen's room." Tony's growl caused him to flinch. "Please try and refrain from doing anything that will get a rise from Strange. Right now he is in full alpha mode."

"What does that mean?" Tony was getting impatient.

Nat placed a hand on his shoulder. "It means he will not hesitate to attack another alpha. He's protecting Adhara from any more potential harm."

Wong nodded. "I can guide you to his bedroom, but it would be best if you brought along a beta. Three alphas going in alone will probably set him off."

Tony pulled his phone out calling the only beta perfect for the job. "Wong, can you open a portal for Peter?"

"Hi, Mr. Stark. Nat. Captain." Stepping through the portal he shivered at the feeling he was getting. "Whoa, what is that?"

"That would be Strange's alpha scent." Wong led them down the hallway. "Here we go." Knocking three times he called out. "Strange? Stark, Romanoff, Rogers, and Parker are going to come in. They just want to make sure the omega is fine." Getting no response he turned the knob and poked his head in. "They are just going to see her and walk out." Turning to the group behind him, he hesitated for a moment. "Have either of you seen Strange's animal?"

"No, he's never told us." Nat replied.

He sighed. "Don't make too much of a fuss about it. That will just get him agitated." Pushing the door open he stepped back.

Steve frowned. "You not coming in?"

The man laughed. "I choose life. I will be in the library. Don't stay too long."

Walking into the room the team of four gapped at what they were seeing. On the bed laid a large fox-like creature wrapped around the small fox that was Adhara. From what they could see the creature was fully black with some light gold in its fur. He had some gold on his jaw, below his eyes almost like liner, and on the edges of his sideburns. His ears stood up straight, much like Tony's Doberman, they were also dusted in gold. But what got their attention, besides the size and color were the five fox tails. A very light stream of gold was mixed into the tails. The tip of each tail was bright golden. His back had five lines going from one end to another. They also noticed a golden bracelet halfway up his leg. The two paws they saw were lightly dusted in gold.

"He did say it was a sort of Fox." Tony muttered.

Nat rolled her eyes. "Right, because a kitsune would have been our next guess."

"I'll check on Adhara." Steve took a step, jumping back at the loud growl. "On a better thought, Tony you go."

"You offered first." Tony snapped.

Steven raised a brow. "She's your pup."

"Kid you go." Tony gave him a light push towards the bed. "Just make sure she's breathing and not hurt."

"Wh-why me?"

"You're a beta." Nat explained. "He won't see you as a threat."

"I really should stop answering your calls." Walking towards the bed, he was relieved at not getting a reaction from Strange. Adhara was curled up by his stomach. Her head rested on his back leg, while Strange used his entire body to cover hers. His tails were used as an extra layer of protection. Moving them back enough to get a look at her, Peter did a quick inspection and stepped back. "She's alright. Sleeping but is not hurt."

"She's fine." Steve shivered accidentally making eye contact with Strange. "Can we get out of here?"

Tony glared at the alpha. "I want her back as soon as she's up. And don't you dare touch her!" Nat and Steve were quick to push him out. They had no idea what sort of damage he could do in this form. "You hear me?! Not a single hair of her should be missing! I know how many she has!"

Strange rolled his eyes, laying his head back down on the bed. Pulling the small Fox closer to him, he let sleep take over once more. He had been feeling rather tired these past two days.

"Did you have to make that scene?" Nat scolded the man. "What if he had reacted?"

"He took my pup!" Tony yelled.

Steve sighed rolling his eyes. "He saved her and is keeping her protected."

"He could have brought her back to the compound." Tony grumbled.

Nat chuckled to herself. Ever since they brought Adhara with them, she has had Tony wrapped around her pinky. She had them all at her will. She never thought it would be like this. The only one in the group to have kids was Tony, but his daughter was yet to present. The omega was a child to all of them. They cared for and protected her. But they knew that when the time came, they would have to let her go.

"You four still here?" Wong walked into the corridor with a book in his hands. "Was Adhara safe?"

Steve nodded. "She seems in good hands, but would you mind if we stuck around?" Wong raised a brow. "We won't be entirely convinced until we hear her."

"I understand." Closing the book, he opened a portal to another room. "You will be more comfortable in here." Guiding them into the living room, he gestured they take their seats. "I can sense you have a lot of questions. I am willing to answer what I can."

"What is his animal?" Steve asked. "Nat said it was a kitsune?"

"But the ones I know of have nine tails." Nat jumped in.

"Strange will get his nine tails in time." Wong replied. "They come in every year. Due to the blip, he had already earned five of his nine tails."

"His color is different than I have read about." Nat said. "They are usually white/red. White/yellow. Of orange/black."

"You have been reading too many folk tails." Wong laughed. "His magic affected his color. He was originally all black. The gold on him is because of the magic."

"Oh!" Peter yelped. "Just like the silver on his hair."

"Yes."

"Does Strange know Adhara is an om-"

"Omega?" Strange walked into the room wearing a pair of sweats and nothing else. "Yeah, her scent made it very clear."

"You don't own a shirt?" Tony grumbled.

Strange raised a brow. "You're in my house."

"There is a lady present!" He gestured to Nat. "And a kid."

"Peter could care less if I'm shirtless or not." Strange growled. "And Ms. Romanoff..."

"I don't mind at all." The alpha female was practically undressing him over and over.

Wong frowned as he studied the alpha male. His scent was off. It was stronger than normal. His face was flushed and he was sweating. "Strange you alright?"

"Yeah, it's just the heat." He grumbled. "Can you turn the AC on?"

"It's on."

Letting out a shaky breath, he walked over to the window. He needed some fresh air. Adhara's scent was in every corner of the sanctum and it was driving him to the brink. "Adhara is ready to go home if you wish to take her."

"Where is she?" Tony jumped to his feet.

"I'm here." She barely stepped foot into the room, when she found herself wrapped in Tony's arms. "I'm fine."

"You sure?" He turned her around a couple of times inspecting every inch. "Besides reeking of Strange you're fine."

"Please, my scent is ten times better than yours." Strange grumbled, unaware they heard him.

"C-can I talk to Dr. Strange for a moment?" Adhara asked.

Wong nodded. "I have some reading I must do."

Tony lingered as the others walked out. Adhara tossed him a look. "You too."

"I don't trust him." Tony snapped. "He could try and take advantage."

"Watch yourself Stark." Strange growled.

Adhara placed her hand on her crossed arms. "Tony I was in the same bed as him. He won't do anything to harm me."

Nat poked her head back in, grabbed the back of Tony's shirt, and hauled him out. "We will be in the kitchen."

"I wasn't done!" Tony roared.

"He means well." Adhara turned around to find Strange inches from her. "He's just a bit overprotective."

"Hmm, not his job anymore." Placing his hands on her waist, he picked her up and sat her on the table against the wall. "It's mine." Circling her arms around his neck, she played with the hair at the nape of his neck. "Have dinner with me tonight?"

"Are you asking me out?" Laying her head on his chest, she listened to his heartbeat.

"Yes."

"It doesn't bother you that I'm an omega?" She refused to look up at him, not wanting to see the truth in his eyes.

"No."

"Then the answer is yes."

Kissing the top of her head, he inhaled her scent. It was a punch to the chest, spreading a burning feeling. He was becoming dependent on it.
