Final Two: Jasmine and Tyler
Episode 13: Lies, Cries, and One Big Prize
"Previously, on Total Drama," Chris opened alongside the capstone theme and the usual long-distance shot of the island. "Jasmine, Tyler, and Zoey created their own challenges!" the host explained, the recap montage beginning with the Final Three starting their run through the hurdles race, followed by a shot of Zoey on top of a tree.
"Tyler came up with hurdles," Chris said over a shot of Tyler hitting his crotch on a hurdle. "Zoey jumped them," Zoey fell into a pitfall, "Jasmine maneuvered them," the host finished as Jasmine was shown throwing away a beehive.
"Zoey's challenge, a singing one, had some bangers," Chris said over a shot of the Final Three on the stage. "Tyler sang 'Eye of the Tiger', Zoey sang 'Stronger', and Jasmine sang 'Roar'," he said over their performances. "Zoey gained first place in that one."
"So, it all came down to Jasmine's challenge: a treetop race," Chris continued, the montage flashing ahead to Tyler and Jasmine racing through the trees, then Tyler holding on to a branch that a monkey was sawing at. "It was more entertaining than a sawing monkey."
"After Jasmine finished first," Jasmine had crossed the finish line, "Tyler joined her in the finale, causing Zoey to be eliminated. See ya!" Chris said over Zoey failing to cross the line and Zoey getting shot into the night by the Cannon of Shame.
The montage ended with a flash, showing a close-up of Chris in front of a bare rock wall. "Down to two from three, cause now we're Zoey-free. But, it'll still be sweet to see who gets beat. So! Grab a seat. There's one million bucks on the line," the shot cut to a robotic arm lifting up the open suitcase full of prize money against a radiant orange-and-gold background. "Iiiiiit's finale time!" Chris said as the shot cut back to him. "On Total! Drama! Paaaaaahkitew Island!"

A deep note played as the episode opened on the treefort, the sky dark and the crickets chirping. A deep sigh issued forth from it, and the camera soon cut inside to show Tyler tossing and turning in his bed. He got up and grabbed a pillow from the bed above him and closed his eyes with a smile, only to open them and sigh again.
Confessional: Tyler
"Yeah, trying to fall asleep when there's a big stakes competish happening is no cake walk," Tyler groaned.
Confessional Ends
The static cut away to show Jasmine snoring and sleeping while on her tree. Eventually, she managed to fall upside down, but thanks to the rope tying her leg to the branch, she didn't fall to the ground.
Confessional: Jasmine
"After everything I've been through, I'm one contestant closer to opening my cage fighting school/flower shop," Jasmine confessed. "I just need to rest and not get all worked up."
Confessional Ends
An angelic sound played as the shot returned to a close-up of Tyler, his eyes falling asleep as the light of dawn streamed in through a window high on the wall above him.
Just as he and the music seemed to reach a peaceful rest, the wail of an air horn pierced the walls and forced Tyler back into wakefulness, his eyes snapping open wide and bloodshot. "Tyler and Jasmine," Chris announced over the camp loudspeakers, the screen splitting in two with a shot of the tall girl blearily waking up sliding in on the left. "Meeting area, now!"
\
The scene flashed to Tyler and Jasmine standing before Chris in the open meeting area. "Yes! Today, I finish off this season," he greeted excitedly. "And then start my vacation."
"And you'll hand one of us a million dollars," Jasmine added with a grin.
"I haven't forgotten, Jasmine," Chris said in annoyance, "I'm just focusing on the parts that bring me the most joy. Okay?"
"What's the challenge?" Tyler asked. "Is it a physical or mental one, because I'm not a mental person."
"These finales are always physical," Jasmine said. "While that'll make you happy, you'll be disappointed by how much I outclass you."
"I still have my integrity and honor," Tyler scoffed.
"If I may continue?" Chris interrupted, his annoyed expression soon dropping. "Your final challenge is so demanding, the lawyers insisted each of you get a helper. Ehh," he shrugged, "it's not a horrible idea. I mean," the shot cut to the finalists as they watched him, "maybe they'll be able to help us find your bodies!" Jasmine and Tyler shared a brief but wary look. "So, which of the past contestants would you like as a helper?" Chris asked, stepping over to them.
Confessional: Jasmine
"I'd like to pick Zoey as my helper," Jasmine told the outhouse camera. "She's been very helpful sheila towards me, and generally, I'd pick anybody as long as they're not either irritating or get stuffed so quickly."
Confessional: Tyler
"I'm going with Bridgette," Tyler confessed. "Why wouldn't I? She's smart, compassionate, brave, and the hottest girl I've ever met. She's also forgiving of me despite my mistake that got her eliminated."
Confessionals End
"I choose Zoey," Jasmine decided as the static cut away and a triumphant tune played...for a few brief moments.
Chris chuckled. "'Choose'?" he repeated, laughing again. "Nooo, no no no no no no no no...," he told the finalists.
"But you asked us who we would-," Tyler pointed out in confusion.
"I know," Chris conceded, "I asked you who you wanted. I did that to be mean." He laughed again as the sound of squeaky wheels approached. "Your helpers-" the camera pulled back to show Chef pushing a large widescreen monitor up to the host on a cart- "will be selected thusly! When you press this button," he held up a remote control with a single red button on it, "the possible helpers will flash across the screen." A game show jingle played as the shot cut to the monitor, now showing the portraits of the eliminated contestants rolling down across the screen as if on a reel. "Whoever's face it stops on, is your helper."
The reel stopped on an image of Sugar puckering her lips as she held her hair and faced the camera seductively.
The scene cut to Jasmine and Tyler now holding remotes. "Can we deny using a helper?" Tyler asked.
"No, but you do get one chance to pass and spin again," Chris answered with a wide grin. "Just to make things interesting. Who goes first will be decided by a coin toss," he explained, taking out a coin and flipping it towards the campers.
It hit Tyler in the eye, and he yelped in pain.
"Tyler wins!" Chris happily announced. "Let's see who you get," he said, looking back to the monitor as the game show jingle played again.
The shot cut to a close-up of the monitor as the portraits began to scroll past, Tyler uttering a series of grunts as he watched off-screen – some hopeful, some annoyed. "Okay, stop," he said after a few seconds, the camera moving to him as he pressed the button on his remote.
The simulated reel stopped on Bridgette from after she escaped the toilet from the seventh episode. "Bridgette? Yes!" Tyler said confidently as a triumphant jingle played. "I'm sticking with her!"
"Jasmine," Chris said, "you're up."
The game show jingle played, and the portraits started flashing across the monitor again – until they stopped on Alejandro from after he got his jaw injury. "Alejandro!" Chris announced.
Confessional: Jasmine
"Not in my life!" Jasmine huffed.
Confessional Ends
The shot cut back to Tyler and Jasmine. "I'm spinning again. I don't care who's my helper, as long as it's not Alejandro," Jasmine said.
"Have at it," Chris replied, the shot briefly cutting to the pictures flashing across the monitor again.
Jasmine pressed the button, and the camera cut to the monitor to show that it had landed on Cameron from when he was eating the rotten egg. "Cameron!" Chris spoke out. "What you get is what you get!"
"I'll take him obviously," Jasmine smirked.
"Jasmine gets Cameron and Tyler gets Bridgette. Also, everyone will be here to watch the finale live," Chris said, the shot cutting to the same dual-rotor military helicopter that Chris and Chef had taken shelter in during the island's malfunctioning as it flew overhead.
The door opened, and one-by-one, the twelve eliminated contestants jumped out the helicopter and made their way over to the finalists.
"What's up guys!" Sam smiled enthusiastically.
"Hi Tyler," Beardo waved at the jock happily, much to Tyler's joy.
"Rad! It's awesome to see you here again!" Tyler cheered.
"Everyone that's not helping the finalists, sit over here!" Chris took out his remote and pointed it at a patch of ground nearby, a hole opening up in it and a rather shoddy-looking set of stadium seats shooting up out of it. Staci, Dakota, Sugar, Beardo, Gwen, Justin, Leonard, Sam, Alejandro, and Zoey made their way to their seats; Staci, Sugar, Alejandro, Sam, and Dakota on the top half, Leonard, Justin, Gwen, Zoey, and Beardo on the bottom half. A wide television set was also shot up from it's own separate hole.
"This is great," Zoey smiled. "I didn't think we would all be back to watch the last episode."
"Given that our host is generally heartless, I'm genuinely surprised," Gwen commented.
"I wasn't gonna bring you guys back originally, but I decided against it so that you can all watch the final two suffer," Chris grinned.
"Fine by me," Alejandro muttered with his jaw still wrapped.
"I just wanna see who wins this shindig," Sugar shrugged.
Tyler immediately embraced Bridgette the moment she made it to where he was. "The moment I landed on you, I immediately picked you as my helper," he said.
"That is so cool," Bridgette smiled. "I would have picked you as well if I was in the finals instead."
"Nice to see you here, Cam," Jasmine rubbed Cameron's head playfully.
"Thanks. I'm surprised you chose me to be your helper," Cameron smiled back at the Australian.
"I'd rather have you than a certain charmer," Jasmine grinned.
"Yeah. Especially after everything he's done to us," Cameron responded.
Confessional: Cameron
"After I got back home, I popped my bubble like I promised to do," Cameron said. "My mom didn't go against it, and she's more trusting of me to be out of the house from now on."
Confessional: Bridgette
"I'm so excited to be back here," Bridgette smiled. "I'm not in the finale, obviously, but that doesn't mean we can't support our friends."
Confessional: Chris
"I knew I'd get backlash from you guys if your favorite teens weren't brought back," Chris claimed. "I hope you're happy."
Confessionals End
"Ahem," Chris interrupted, the static cutting away to show him walking towards the two pairs. "Reunion's over? Good! Time for your final challenge. I have endearingly titled it, 'The Double Duo of Deadly Dying Death'!" A dramatic spike in the music, reverberated voice, and zoomed-in and angled shot all combined to make the revealing of the title particularly dramatic.
"Is it dangerous...," Tyler said worryingly.
Chris sighed. "'The Double Duo of Dangerous Deadly Dying Death'!" he reiterated, the same effect playing as before.
"It's dangerous," Tyler conceded.
Confessional: Tyler
"Sometimes, I just can't tell with Chris," Tyler confessed.
Confessional Ends
Chris started to explain. "After the island was exposed as a fake, I realized we've yet to explore all the wonderful and bizarre dangers the island's new landscape has to offer. Until now. Jasmine and Tyler," the shot cut back to the two pairs, "with assistance from your helpers-" The four all shared a smile- "you will race across the island. First one to cross the finish line will receive," Chris turned to the side and grabbed the prized suitcase from Chef, the music building up grandly as he opened it to reveal its glowing contents, "One! Millions! Dol-lars!"
All four teens started cheering.
"And all you have to do is survive a 2000-foot plummet from an ice cliff," Chris joyously explained, the camera cutting to the slender peak of a snowy mountain before quick-panning away, "successfully learn to breathe while submerged in mud," the camera panned across a bubbling lake of mud before quick-panning away again, "and then sprint two miles across a wide-open field where," the shot now panned across a seemingly ordinary and empty field, "I'm absolutely sure no harm will come to you."
The shot cut back to the cast as Chris began to laugh raucously for an extended period of time, Chef joining in a second later. "The point I'm making," Chris said once they'd finally finished, "is that there's a decent chance you may not survive this."
Both finalists and helpers groaned warily. Then they were each tossed an orange helmet.
"For the first part of the challenge," Chris explained, "the lawyers insisted you wear helmets to protect your brains." The shot cut to him and Chef. "I mean who knows. Someday, you may start using them." The roar of the nearby helicopter suddenly increased, the added wind whipping up a cloud of dust around the men. "When you get to the top of the mountain, it'd be a good idea to build a bobsled," Chris instructed, "or, it'll be a very rough ride down!"
The show's smaller red helicopter was shown flying over, the larger military one flying away with the rest of the former campers still attached. "Grab a rope!" Chris said, the camera panning down the four ropes hanging from the helicopter to show them dangling just above the finalists and helpers. "Your challenge begins...NOW!"
The four grabbed the ropes in front of them, and to a sudden bit of challenge music and a blast of the host's airhorn, the helicopter flew off dragging the startled teens along with it.
"Good luck! Stay safe!" Chris called out after them. "Are things I'd say, if I cared!"
\
The footage flashed ahead to the top of the snowy peak, several boxes and barrels of various junk – including what looked like several sets of skis – already waiting at the top. The small helicopter arrived momentarily, and the shot cut to its four passengers landing in the show – Jasmine and Cameron on the left, Tyler and Bridgette on the right.
"We're supposed to build a bobsled out of junk?" Cameron asked in disbelief.
"Forget about the bobsled," Jasmine said as she grabbed a pair of skis. "Jump on!" She tossed the skis onto the ground and stepped on them.
Cameron hopped onto Jasmine's back. "Let's go!" he said as they began to slide forward down the slope and soon left the scene.
The camera panned onto Tyler, holding a pair of skis of his own. "We have to go now!"
"But what about us using a bobsled," Bridgette told the jock.
"No time," Tyler tossed the skis on the ground. "Get on and steer!"
"Okay," Bridgette agreed, running over to the skis and jumping on. The challenge music rose up again as the surfer girl wrapped her arms around Tyler's back, and they started to slide.
The shot cut to Cameron and Jasmine looking back over their shoulders with grins on their faces. "There's no way they'll catch up to us!" Jasmine heckled before they promptly skied through a tall mogul, slowing them down a little and covering Jasmine's eyes in snow. "I can't see!" she shouted, clawing at the packed snow as they began to swerve.
"To the left!" Cameron shouted as they swerved away from the camera around another mound of snow. "Now right!" the wide-eyed bubble boy directed, the two swerving back towards the foreground. "Left!" he shouted, but they just sped through another mogul earning a scream from Cameron.
Confessional: Jasmine
Jasmine was blue from the cold and shivering heavily.
Confessional Ends
"I know this is gonna sound mean," Tyler said as the scene cut back to him and Bridgette, "but they look hilarious right now!"
"They're slowing down," Bridgette pointed out as they began to swerve around the moguls as well. "We may have a chance if we go around the moguls."
Tyler grinned. "Leave that to me," he said as he continued to lean with Bridgette as they dodged the moguls.
Confessional: Tyler
"Skiing is something I've never done before, but it always looks so cool," Tyler said.
Confessional Ends
The music ramped up dangerously as the static cut away, showing the surfer girl and jock sliding towards another mogul. "Left!" Bridgette shouted.
"No, we're going right!" Tyler replied, the two leaning to opposite directions, swerving nowhere, and plowing right through the mound.
They started swerving wildly, snow covering both their eyes. They clipped the side of another mogul, sending themselves into a screaming spin, hit a third mogul, and came out tumbling end over end.
The shot cut to the bottom of the slope, the music leveling off as what looked like a mogul on skis slid down. The camera zoomed in as two patches of snow fell away to reveal Jasmine and Cameron inside, the two moaning and blue in the face. "Jasmine, we have to move," Cameron weakly told his partner, "before-"
A massive snowball suddenly ran them over, breaking the snow but leaving the two lying in a puddle of melting snow. A crash was heard off-screen, but the camera lingered in place as Cameron groaned and stood up. "This is the second time I survived a snow disaster," Cameron told his partner. "We have to go."
"You're right," Jasmine said as she caught her breath and stood up. "We can't just lay about!" she declared before charging forward, the shot cutting to Cameron as he raced after his partner.
The camera followed them along for a few seconds until they reached a heap of snow, skis, and dazed-looking teens, which the shot immediately focused on. "What happened?" Bridgette asked her partner. "I told you to go left!"
"And I told you to go right!" Tyler countered before the snow holding them up crumbled away, causing them to fall over with a startled gasp.
\
The scene cut away to show Chris and Chef sitting in lawn chairs eating popcorn as they watched the challenge feed, the host promptly pausing it with a beep and looking at the camera. "This finale's out of control!" he said excitedly as the capstone theme began to play. "Jasmine and Cameron got run over! Tyler took charge! And Bridgette's too safe!"
"Stay tuned," he continued, the shot moving away but the host quickly popping back up in front of it. "Someone is leaving here a millionaire. It's the finale of Total! Drama! Paaaaaahkitew Island!"

TSPI 13 (pt 2)
The episode resumed on a shot of Cameron and Jasmine, their skin tones back to normal, running up to a smiling Chris. "Welcome back," he told the camera as the background music rolled into a low and slow expository tune. "Jasmine and helper Cameron are the first to arrive here," he turned to the right, "at the world's largest mud puddle!" The camera pulled back, revealing that the trio was standing near the edge of a large lake of burbling mud, a measuring stick rising out of it at the nearest edge.
"It's eight feet deep," Chris explained over a close-up of the measuring stick showing the mud reaching up very nearly to the 8' mark, "and 200 yards across. And," the camera quick-panned to the far right side of the 'puddle', "since it's too thick to swim through," the shot cut back to the duo and Chris, "the only way to the other side is with one of you piggybacking the other."
"Umm...," Cameron said hesitantly, "wouldn't the person on the bottom drown?"
"Yes," Chris answered.
"What?!" Jasmine said in shock.
"Unless they use this garden hose!" Chris added, a light chime playing as he held up a length of green hose.
"I think we're both safer if you go on my shoulders," Jasmine informed Cameron.
"Really?" Cameron felt shocked. "I'm supposed to be the one helping you."
"I'll be fine with it," Jasmine comforted the bubble boy. "You can trust me."
"Okay then," Cameron smiled. "After all, you didn't take part in voting me off the island." At this, Jasmine immediately frowned.
Confessional: Jasmine
"Yeah, I forgot about that," Jasmine gulped.
Confessional Ends
"When I last competed on the island, our team had the both of us, Sam, and Alejandro," Cameron said. "After careful thinking, I've come to realize that Alejandro and Sam were responsible for my elimination since it was by two votes."
"Absolutely," Jasmine nodded forcefully. "We can go with that. Now we should get into the mud before Bridgette and Tyler catch up."
Confessional: Cameron
"Why did Jasmine act so weird back there?" Cameron asked, confused. "I'd press on, but I don't want to slow her down."
Confessional Ends
A low, trumpeting challenge theme began to play as the scene cut to Jasmine and Cameron jumping into the mud, the former disappearing below its depths while the latter, on her shoulders, held up the length of hose. They started moving forward, and the camera panned back to the left to show Tyler, Bridgette, and Chris holding up another length of hose.
"I'll be on the bottom," Tyler stated.
"Really?" Bridgette raised her eyebrows in surprise.
"Between the two of us, I have more body strength," Tyler took the hose from Chris.
"I'll make sure nothing blocks you from getting air," Bridgette said as Tyler crouched down so she could jump onto his shoulders. He stood back up and put the end of the hose in his mouth, and jumped into the mud.
Confessional: Tyler
"Why does Bridgette keep questioning me? I'm the boss. What I say goes," Tyler stated, and started to frown. "That sounds wrong."
Confessional: Jasmine
"In all the excitement, I forgot that I'm terrified of confined spaces, like, say, being submerged in mud!" Jasmine freaked out.
Confessionals End
The scene cut to Cameron and Jasmine. They were still slogging through the mud, Jasmine out of sight but Cameron only submerged up to his stomach. He smiled and said "Keep going, you're doing great!" into the piece of hose he was holding.
The short boy suddenly stopped moving, then seemed to turn around and start moving back towards the start. "Uh, Jasmine?" he asked into the hose. "We're going the wrong way!"
The camera cut to Bridgette as she held the hose atop Tyler, before noticing the other team and frowning. "Why are they coming this way?"
"It's not my fault!" Cameron called back. "Jasmine's afraid of tight spaces!"
"How am I able to go past then?" Bridgette asked.
"Boring!" came the sudden voice of Chris McLean, the camera cutting to him standing in the show's jeep with Chef at the wheel, speaking into the microphone of the jeep's loudspeaker. "Deploy the 2.0 model!"
The shot cut back to Bridgette and Cameron as they looked around with strange expressions, the sound of something like a rocket taking off coming from somewhere in the distance. They looked up and to the left, and the camera shifted to their viewpoint to show a large object shooting up through the sky overhead...
...then abruptly diving towards them, revealing itself as a red-eyed robotic bear with small jet engines coming out of its back. The helpers screamed as their respective partners continued in their previous directions, getting out of the way as the Bear landed in the mud. It hit with enough force to cause a wave of mud, which shot all the way across the puddle carrying the finalists and their helpers along for the ride. All four immediately began to cough upon landing in a muddy heap.
Confessional: Tyler
"I'm tied with Jasmine," Tyler said. "That just means I'm getting closer and closer to touching the one million dollars."
Confessional Ends
A close-up of the nozzle of a fire hose in Chef's hands preceded him blasting the muddy finalists and helpers with water, all four screaming where they'd landed on the shore of the 'puddle'. Moments later, the water was shut off, leaving them drenched but clean.
"We're all tied up," Chris announced with a smile. "It's the perfect time for a little break. First, let's bring in the Peanut Gallery again." He took out his remote and pressed the button. Like before, a hole opened up and the Peanut Gallery and the TV they used to watch the event rose up.
"What is this island even made out of?" Justin griped.
"It's like we were on a roller coaster," Leonard said.
"You know, roller coasters were invented by-" Staci tried to say.
"I've been an intern, and even I'm confused as to how Pahkitew Island works around here," Dakota said.
"I never reveal my secrets!" Chris said with a happy smile, pressing the button on his remote again so that a large widescreen television emerged from another hole in the ground near him and the finalists.
The camera zoomed back out again to show the finalists and helpers. "Everyone, grab a seat," Chris instructed, and the four reluctantly sat down on the logs lying behind them. "I'm gonna show you some of my favorite clips from the show..." He pointed his remote at the TV, and the shot focused in as it switched on and started to play footage of a confessional...
XXX
"I messed up by voting off Bridgette," Tyler admitted pitifully before turning serious, "but I am slightly relieved with this. Bridgette was kinda distracting me in the game."
XXX
"Totally," Tyler agreed. "If Bridgette was still here, I'd have trouble going against her, but things are easier now."
XXX
"Why does Bridgette keep questioning me? I'm the boss. What I say goes," Tyler stated.
XXX
The footage paused, and Chris leaned out in front of the television with a wide and mischievous grin. "Looks like we all know how Tyler feels about Bridgette," he said impishly.
"Wait, what?! Those clips are totally out of context!" Tyler spoke incredulously. "You didn't show any of the good ones!"
"Is that how you really think about me?! Just a distraction in your game!" Bridgette asked furiously, but it was clear that she was beginning to tear up.
"I gotta say, that's really masochistic," Jasmine shook her head at Tyler.
The shot cut back to a smiling Chris. "You might want to hold on to your tongue, Jasmine, because I have no intention of leaving you and bubble boy out," he said happily before pressing his button.
XXX
"Cameron's sweet and all, but Alejandro's right. He's a little too weak for this game," Jasmine claimed.
XXX
"Well… the thing is… I already voted off Cameron once," Jasmine explained nervously.
XXX
"How come you say that? Cameron isn't exactly the strong type," Jasmine raised an eyebrow.
XXX
Chris paused the footage gleefully. "So it seems you all know why Cameron was voted off the island."
Confessional: Chris
"Wow!" Chris laughed. "Who knew these contestants had a sick bone in their bodies? I did!"
Confessional Ends
"Cameron, please let me explain," Jasmine tried to reason with him, but he wasn't having it.
"You thought I was hindering you?! How could you?! I thought we were friends!" Cameron spoke in anger.
"We are, but-" Jasmine replied.
"You felt I was too fragile and weak to be here," Cameron scoffed. "I should've figured that you only prioritize success over connections."
The camera panned away from them and onto Tyler and Bridgette. "Bridgette, listen to me. I'll let you have all of the money if it means you won't be mad at me anymore!" Tyler pleaded.
"So now you're thinking about me?" Bridgette shot back. "Because you just got exposed? You're so superficial!" Her lips began to quiver, and the music suddenly turned sad as she buried her face in her hands and started crying.
"Of course I care about you," Jasmine tried talking to Cameron. "You're-"
"I don't want to hear it," Cameron shut Jasmine off.
Chris blew his air horn, and the shot moved onto him, "I'm sorry, but I am out of popcorn, so we should probably get back to the challenge."
"Seriously?!" they exclaimed.
"Obviously, the helpers aren't going to be very helpful anymore," Chris replied. "So, instead of being helpers, Cameron and Bridgette will now be hinderers." As he spoke Chef walked back into view with a pair of video game controllers, tossing one each to Cameron and Bridgette. "The island is now back online," Chris continued, "and, with these controllers, they will be able to throw up obstacles to slow you down, or, completely crush you."
The shot cut to Cameron as he looked at his controller. "Good to know."
"Okay," Bridgette said.
Jasmine and Tyler gulped, and Chris laughed. "That was the good part," he said. "Let me tell you the bad part. You have ten minutes to finish this challenge," he told the finalists. "If neither of you do, Bridgette and Cameron get to split the money."
"Are you serious?" Sam said from his seat. "The money is supposed to go to the finalists!"
"This isn't fair," Dakota added. "You totally can't do this."
"I can! I will! I am! GO!" Chris announced, blowing his airhorn right in Chef's face earning an annoyed sigh from the man. Tyler and Jasmine immediately ran off, but the camera cut to a close-up of a thoughtful Bridgette.
"I'm upset with Tyler right now," Bridgette said to herself. "But would stopping him from winning make me any better?"
"It's your call," Cameron said, the camera panning over to show him with his controller in hand. "I was tasked to hinder Jasmine, so that's what I'll do."
Confessional: Bridgette
"I am not just eye candy for anybody to look and stare at, and making Tyler struggle would prove that, but I'm just tempted right now," Bridgette stated.
Confessional Ends
A few quick drum taps opened up a deep and dangerous challenge theme, the scene returning to Jasmine and Tyler sprinting across the open field only to gape in shock as the pine trees in the background started launching like rockets.
"What the heck?" Tyler said. "Rocket trees?"
One landed right behind them, forcing both finalists to roll forward out of the way. "This island is more cuckoo than a clock!" Jasmine cried as the two continued running, more and more trees landing behind them like massive spears.
The two were shown together in a brief close-up, raising their eyebrows in surprise. A quick-pan ahead revealed the landscape changing, trees and rock formations rising up out of the artificial ground to form a large, dense barrier.
Confessional: Cameron
"I'm surprised I missed out on a lot," Cameron said in shock.
Confessional: Bridgette
"I'm happy I missed out on a lot," Bridgette said with comfort.
Confessionals End
The dangerous music resumed in full as Jasmine jumped ahead of Tyler as they climbed over the first big rock formation.
Tyler vaulted downward and dashed forward along a lower 'path' among the rocks. Just as he was about to jump down onto the grass, however, a boulder shot upward – and he landed on it groin-first. A close-up showed him letting out a high-pitched squeal of pain.
Jasmine's wince drew the camera's attention back upward to show her leaping from a boulder and grabbing onto the branch of a tree, only for the tree to suddenly shoot back down into the ground – causing her to yell as it dragged her down and slammed her back-first onto a fallen log.
Tyler gave the Outback girl a quick concerned glance as he jumped onto the same log, then upwards onto a rock formation before climbing onward and to the right and out of sight.
\
The scene cut back to the hinderers, both still working their controllers. "We don't need to change what works," Bridgette said.
"Definitely. We want to slow them down, not kill them," Cameron said.
The camera panned onto the monitor to show Tyler and Jasmine struggling against a powerful wind as they walked through what looked like a dense forest as leaves, dust, branches, and various small woodland animals blew past them.
\
A focus on the monitor's screen transitioned the scene back to the challenge. "I believe...I can spot the finish line in the distance," Jasmine said, pausing for a moment as she struggled against the intense gale.
"They're not making this easy," Tyler commented.
\
The shot cut back to the Peanut Gallery to show them watching with worry and anticipation. "C'mon, Jasmine," Zoey said softly, "just hang in there."
"I know you can win this, Tyler," Beardo said.
Then the camera cut back to the hinderers, Chris standing next to their monitor with a smile on his face. "Ooh! They're getting close!" he said excitedly, prompting Cameron and Bridgette to frown uncomfortably.
\
Once more, the scene moved back to the finalists, their arms raised to buffer themselves against the winds – snow beginning to fall and lightning beginning to crack in the background - with Jasmine in the lead. "Two minutes left!" Chris called out over the island's loudspeaker. "Two minutes!"
"I...," Jasmine said with glee. "I can make it!"
"Not before me!" Tyler shouted, speeding up as the dense trees around him and Jasmine began to recede into the ground – and the tense and dangerous challenge music resumed. "If I win, maybe Bridgette and I could have a shot! I took her for granted 'cause I was a winner-obsessed freak, and it was extremely cocky of me."
"I have to win this," Jasmine told him. "Cameron needs to know how much his friendship means to me, and I threw it away just because I was insecure about the game."
The snowy ground below their feet began to crack. A hollow sound played, then all at once, the ground shot up under them, earning startled yells from both. The shot soon cut to the new peak they were standing on rising up into the sky, then stopping.
"Drats..." Tyler muttered, both finalists looking down with wide eyes. his final word echoed as the camera zoomed out, revealing the snowy mountain they were now at the top of.
The Peanut Gallery was shown gasping, as were Cameron and Bridgette. "Twenty seconds left...!" Chris said as the camera moved on to him looking at his watch.
The shot cut back to Tyler. "It's over, but if Bridgette gets the money, then I'll be okay," he said.
Jasmine noticed a bulge in the snow beside her. The Australian girl shoved her hand into it and pulled out the phone Alejandro stole from Chris. "I don't know how this got here, but we have to get down."
Jasmine stomped on the ground at her feet, and after a few cracks, she hurled the phone down, breaking the device apart. Their eyes widened as the mountain began to crumble under them, and the ground imploded in on itself.
"Six! Five!" Chris began to count off, the music cutting out save for a single plodding note to highlight each number. "Four!" The camera panned onto the television, showing both finalists tumbling through the snow and rock. "Three! Two! One!" The shot cut to the finish banner, then zoomed out to show the avalanche stopping just under it – with neither finalist in sight. "GAME OVER!" he announced, blowing on his airhorn as a subdued but triumphant riff played.
"Are they okay?" Cameron asked fearfully.
"I don't want any of them to die!" Bridgette cried.
"Congratulations," Chris said with his usual smile, ignoring them as a victorious theme began to play. "Revenge is sweetest-" he glanced at the monitor- "ohhhhh, what have we here?" he said with a sudden look of shock, the music cutting out as he pointed at the television screen.
A sharp note played as a familiar hand stuck out of the snow lying just past the finish line, and started waving. After gasping, the helpers both ran off to the right.
The scene cut to the finish line, the camera pulling back a little ways as Chef walked up with a stretcher, dressed as a female nurse. He grabbed the arm and pulled, freeing a shocked and snowy Jasmine from the aftermath of the avalanche. "Huh?" she muttered, looking around as Chef dropped her on the stretcher. "Hold up. I won?" she asked as the victorious music began to play again with much more enthusiasm.
Chef answered with a nod and a small smile, the camera pulling out even more to show Jasmine looking back at the finish banner.
A close-up showed her gaping in shock, and a smile quickly replacing it. "Holy smokes! I WON!" she celebrated in triumph, the shot cutting away to show all of the Peanut Gallery cheering.
"Nice work, Jasmine!" Cameron said as he ran up to Jasmine. "You deserve it!"
"Thank you, Cameron, and I'm really sorry about voting you off," Jasmine apologized.
"I heard what you said before, and I can forgive you," Cameron smiled. "I'm not one to hold any hard feelings."
"I do plan on making it up to you, and I'll start by purchasing you a ticket to come visit me in Australia anytime," Jasmine said.
"Australia's a beautiful sight. I'll plan the date for me to come over," Cameron agreed.
The camera promptly panned to the left to show Bridgette pulling a dazed and half-conscious Tyler from the rest of the avalanche.
"Bridgette," Tyler said, "I know I lost, but I was being sincere when I said I'd share the money with you."
"You've already earned my forgiveness, Tyler," Bridgette said with a smile as she carried her crush over to the stretcher and set him down next to Jasmine. "You made a mistake, but you're still human, and I admire that you weren't being a heartless jerk."
"Awesome," Tyler grinned. "And about our relationship, I know we're friends, but I want us to be-"
He was cut off by Bridgette grabbing his head and kissing him full on the lips. "I know what you're going to say, and my answer is yes. I'll definitely date you, but you have to rest first before we can do so, boyfriend," she said with a smirk as she broke the kiss, leaving Tyler looking dopey before he fell asleep.

The capstone theme began to play as the footage skipped ahead to a shot of Chef standing in front of the helicopter and allowing the contestants, who were all lined up, access inside. Bridgette and Tyler were holding hands with each other, and Jasmine was holding onto her suitcase full of money to her chest.
The camera panned right to show Chris watching them get into the helicopter. "That's it for this very, very off season," Chris began. "This is Chris McLean, saying if you can't stand the pain-" the handsome host continued, the shot cutting in closer- "stay off the Total! Drama! Paaaahkitew Island!"
The camera panned out to show the entire island, and the helicopter began to fly away.
\
"Luckily, I know a guy that can send me a helicopter so I won't have to ride with those teenagers," Chris said as he sat down on a log and pulled out his phone. "I do have to go back to prison and serve my time there."
A few ominous notes were struck, and a ferocious growl caught the host's attention. He looked up, and the camera zoomed out to show Scuba Bear 2.0 standing over him, eyes red. "Uhhh," Chris laughed nervously, "you're not gonna hurt me are you? I'm your very own creator."
The scene abruptly cut outward to the full long-distance shot of the island, the ominous music ending as Chris's scream and Scuba Bear's snarl echoed across the lake.

Author's Note: Yep, Jasmine won. Predictable? Maybe. A good winner? Yes. I figured she deserved the win since Tyler already had Bridgette and I felt that was enough to justify Jasmine winning since both of them deserved it. I have no regrets with this season, well okay, that's a lie. We almost made Zoey's commando phase too wangsty but we quickly fixed that so I have no regrets. We'll see you in All Stars where there will be major changes.
