Moments later the helicopter arrives to search the area*

The sound of the blades alert Hawk which angers him. He figures out a way to redirect the chopper to another part of the forest by putting Logan's shoes far away from the cabin and shed. His plan works and watches from a distance then thinks of a way to stop Officer Garcia and the others from finding Logan*

He walks into the shed makes him scream Help into a recording device then leaves and puts it somewhere that it can be heard*

Diaz: You hear that? It sounded like a scream. It came from that way *Points in the direction*

Santiago: Let's go! *Follows him as the dogs bark and lead the way*

The helicopter follows them*

Soon they reach the sound and try to look for Logan*

Officer Garcia: Logan, Logan!

Diaz: He's not here

Santiago: It was a trap

Officer Garcia: You're right *Picks up the recording device from behind a rock* Hawk lead us away. He definitely knows we haven't given up. We must've been too close for him to do this

Diaz: This guy isn't just smart. He's an evil mastermind

Santiago: We gotta get back

Officer Garcia: That's just what he wants us to do. We have to plan this out carefully. Maybe there's a back way around to the cabin and shed that he doesn't know about. Follow me

Back in Apartment 2J*

My Papi told me Hawk set out traps and tricked his team with a recording of Logan begging for help to throw them of his trail! "Carlos says" Oh why did this have to happen to smartest kid in the world. It should've been me instead!!

Carlos sadly sighs and falls face first on the couch*

Jo: I've been curious about something you guys mentioned the other day

Jo: Whose Zack O'Neil? I remember after that awkward call with Logan calling you Kendork

James said you hadn't been called that since living in Minnesota and that kid gave Logan a black eye for defending you. What exactly happened?

Zack O'Neil was the worst kid in our middle school. Was in detention every week. So many teachers quit cuz of him. He pranked everyone too. He nearly caused a huge panic by setting off fireworks in the gym. Five students went to the hospital and refused to return after healing. The nightmare he was for us is that he was on our hockey team and wanted to be captain to boss us around but our coach knew that was the only reason and gave the position rightfully to Kendall. He was super extra mean after that happened. He would turn all the showers in the locker room to ice cold water, hid our uniforms and jammed up our lockers with pucks. It was horrible. We begged our coach to kick him off the team but Zack's parents wouldn't allow that to happen. We had suffer all through 6th to 8th grade with that tyrant "James says"

6th grade "Carlos says" We're all 13 but he thought cuz he was bigger and almost 14 he was better than us

He was mean to me too. I wasn't a very strong reader in kindergarten. And he teased me about it all the time "Katie says"

He has a little brother that was in my class. Really nice kid. His name was Jackson and he was autistic. He didn't talk that much but was super smart and creative and played with me a lot. Zack was embarrassed to have a special needs brother. He called him the "R" word constantly. Called me it too since I liked hanging out with Jackson. One time at the park he and I were playing together. We chose tag. He tripped and fell and scrapped his knees really badly on the pavement. Zack saw everything and didn't move a muscle to help or say anything sympathetic. He stood there and laughed. I helped him up and calmed him down. His dad eventually was able to give him first aid and hug him to help him feel better. Got mad at Zack for being a jerk. Anyway I really miss Jackson

Here's what lead up to that black eye Logan got from Zack "James says" It was a Friday night and we had a hockey game. 30 minutes left on the clock. The score was tied and we needed 3 more points to win the championship. Kendall had the puck and was going towards the net but suddenly he gave it to Logan and told him to make the goal cuz he believed in him. Logan was a nervous wreck swerving back and forth on the ice. He's super wobbly as he swung the hockey stick so hard he slipped which made the puck miss the net causing the other team to score and win the game. He was mortified and angry at himself and was convinced he let the whole team down. Zack was the only one who was angry. He went over to him and shoved him down hard calling him all kinds of names and threatening him. All I saw was red. My anger was through the roof. I grabbed his jersey tossed him on the ice and threatened him the same way he did to Logan. I called him the same exact names. I wouldn't let him up until he apologized. He refused so I kept him down. Our coach didn't like that and told me to get off him. I had to listen. Zack's parents forced him to apologize. He reluctantly did then got mad at Kendall for letting us lose the game by giving the puck to the "weakest link" on our team. I swear if I see that kid again one day I'll make him the weakest link

James calm down. "Jo says" He can't hurt Logan anymore

That wasn't the end of it "Carlos says" On Monday at school Zack saw Kendall in the library and demanded he kick Logan off the team. Of course Kendall refused so Zack called him Kendork for liking books and being a good kid. It was all day that he called him that. Then it turned to all week. On Friday

Logan had just about enough of it. He screamed at Zack to stop calling Kendall that mean name. Zack said he would on one condition: Logan quits the team and challenged him to a fight. It took place on the playground. What Kendall, James and I DIDN'T know was that Logan was totally prepared to NOT lose that fight. He overpowered him but then Zack tackled him. That went on back and forth for about 10 minutes. Logan's finally move was to put him in a headlock and force him to admit he's a jerk to everyone watching and to promise to never ever bully anyone ever again which included Jackson. Zack finally gave up and agreed and walked away defeated with everyone laughing at him he ran back and punched Logan's right eye unfortunately in front of the principal. He got expelled. Logan didn't even get in trouble

I felt awful that he got hurt protecting me "Kendall says" It was so very wrong that a sweet kid like Logan got hurt cuz of me. It's my fault. I did that to him. I got him hurt

Yes it is "Kendall says" I should've done more to get Zack kicked off the team but I didn't do enough. I'm so stupid!
