The Rise of Blue-Jay

Listen to me Em you are not alone you have me , Uncle James , and Aunt Mary we all love you Sweetie" Barbra said in a reassuring tone Emery eventually stopped crying with a sniffle , wiped her eyes , and hugged her cousin , Barbra decided to take in her Cousin as her ward, she also made the decision to tell Emery about her double life as Batgirl .

2. Chapter 2

The Next day ...

Emery had just finished putting on her new Blue-jay costume along with the blonde wig that she had bought that afternoon from Madame Margot's Wig emporium and went to Barbara's room to show her.

The costume consisted of a Metallic light blue long sleeve leotard,a metallic light blue short sleeve shirt that had Blue-jay embroidered on it , a light blue metallic pelted mini skirt, a pair of light blue metallic tights , a pair of metallic light blue opera gloves , shiny pair of light blue go go boots , a metallic blue eye mask, a light blue silk cape ,a metallic light blue head band , and her sterling sliver locket that her parents gave her which she never took off .

"So what do you think of my Costume Barb" Emery asked her cousin in a happy tone

"It looks great Em but I think it could use one more thing" Barbara said as she got up from her bed and pressed the hidden button under her vanity for the revolving wall for her Batgirl gear she then grabbed a utility belt that had a symbol of a Blue-jay on it and put the wall back to how it was normally .

"Here Em I want you to have this" Barbara said with a smile as she handed Emery the belt.

"Thank you so much Barb" Emery said as she put on the belt

"and that's not all my dear cousin" Barbara said as she pulled the switch that revealed the Batgirl cycle

"You bought me my own Moped" Emery said in an excited tone as hugged her cousin tightly

"well I knew that you have your Motorcycle licence and Esther at the Library was selling it so I bought it for you to get around when we're crime fighting" Barbara said as she hugged Emery back .

"Are you ready for your introduction as Blue-Jay Em" Barbara asked her cousin in a serious tone

"Yes I am Barb" Emery replied in a confidant tone

"Good because Riddler is up to his no good tricks again which means that your Uncle James is going to call on the caped crusaders to stop him and that means Batgirl and now

Blue-jay too" Barbara said as she grabbed her ginger wig .

Once Barbara in her Batgirl costume the two cousin zoomed out of the townhouse basement and down the alley and made their way to Gotham city police headquarters .
