Chapter 2: Parachuting and Hang Out
"Can I parachute next?" Rocky asked with a big smile across his face, and his tail wagging happily.
"Of course Rocky. Go for it!" Ryder replied so the pup could skydive.
"Thanks Ryder. Yippee!" Rocky responded before jumping out of the balloon basket.
Rocky spread his legs out as he fell towards the ground; the cool air rushing past him gave a relaxing feeling. Ricky loved it!
After several minutes a while, Rocky was close enough to the ground, and released his parachute, but even so, he tried his best to enjoy the fun moment he was having.
FWOOSH! Rocky's nylon green parachute popped out of the backpack, before catching air before gently lowering the pup closr and closer to the ground.
The view was calm, and peaceful as Rocky gently floated down to the ground, and within minutes, his paws touched the landing pad.
"Aroooo! That was fun!" Rocky cheered, happy with his skydiving. Ryder and the other pups cheered from above, in the hot air balloon. Unfortunately, Rocky's moment of joy was interrupted by the green nylon parachute floating down, and landing on top of the pup.
"Alright! Now I just need to - Wait! Ahhh! Hey! Ahhhhh! Get me outta here! Who turned out the lights?" Rocky exclaimed as he started to fumble and flail about under his big, green parachute. Rocky looked like a green ghost as he struggled to get out of his parachute, with Ryder and the others laughing from the balloon. Rocky didn't mind though, since all he wanted was to get out of his green parachute. Looking liking like a green ghost didn't exactly help though.
"Okay. And ... Done!" Marshall said as he finished drying the inside of The Lookout. Now it was spotless!
"Phew! All that cleaning made me tired! Time for lunch, then maybe a nap," Marshall told himself.
The Dalmatian pup went outside to get a drink of water, and after finishing, he refilled his bowl with his water canons. It took a while for Marshall to drink all the water sinde he was quite thirst. Once he finished drinking, he went to his food bowl and ate some pup food from his food bowl. After having lunch, Marshall went back inside to take a nap.
'I wonder how Ryder and the pups are doing with parachuting?' Marshall thought before dosing off.
"May I go next Wyder?" Zuma asked patiently.
"Yes Zuma. Go ahead," Ryder replied as he let the chocolate lab go over to the edge of the balloon basket.
"Thanks dude. Waaaaaaaaahoooooooo!" Zuma cried out as he jumped out. ZUMA spread his legs out as he fell towards the ground in freefall; the feeling of air rushing past him as he got lower.
The chocolate lab waited patiently until he got low enough to release his parachute. Until then, Zuma enjoyed the view from above as he kept falling.
Soon, Zuma got low enough to release the parachute, he pulled the cord on his backpack and waited.
FWOOSH! Zuma's orange parachute popped out of the backpack, before catching air before gently lowering the pup closr and closer to the ground.
The view was calm as Zuma gently floated down to the ground, and within seconds, his paws touched the landing pad.
"That was pawsome!" Zuma exclaimed happily. Ryder and the other pups cheered from above from the hot air balloon. However, as everyone cheered, Zuma's orange nylon parachute floating down and landing on top of the pup.
"Yes! Pawsome dudes! Now I can detach from my - Ahhh! Ahhhhh! Hey! No fair! Help! Help! What's going on? Get me outta here!" Zuma exclaimed as he started to struggled and flailed about under his big, orange parachute. Zuma looked like an orange ghost as he attempted to get out of his parachute. Ryder and the others giggling from the balloon. Zuma tried and tried to get free, but he was having a hard time getting out of the orange parachute.
Back at The Lookout, Marshall woke up after his nap. Upon looking at the clock, he wondered if anyone needed help in town. Marshall streched until he walked back outside. He saw the red paw scanner just next to the sliding doors, and put his paw on the scanner. A line went past his paw and click was heard; The Lookout was now locked.
Marshall jumped into his fire truck and drove towards Town Hall. As he looked, nothing unexpected was going wrong. Continuing on his drive, the dally looked towards both Seal Island and Jake's Mountain. Both seemed peaceful, so he kept going - that is until he got a call.
"Hello? Marshall here!" Marshall said as he answered the call on his pup tag.
"Marshall? Phew! Glad you answered. I could use some help. I was picking fruit and it seems some of our apple trees and other fruit trees grew a bit more fruit than we thought. Could you please come down and help Farner Al and I out?" Farmer Yumi's voice said through the red glowing tag.
"On my way Farmer Yumi!" Marshall replied happily before heading over to the farm in his truck.
