Hyperpixel357: Thank you so much! The dynamics will certainly be heavily changed by several earlier eliminations and competitors staying longer in the game.
Early morning in Camp Wawanawkwa.
Chris McLean trudged through the dew covered grass of the summer camp, drinking a hot cup of coffee.
He turned towards the camera. "Ah, don't you just love these quiet early mornings in Muskoka?"
He took another sip from his coffee, as he pulled out a bullhorn and used it to make an awful cacophony.
In the Gopher's cabin, Leshawna, who has dark bags under her eyes, jolts up in bed, hitting her head on the top bunk.
Soon, she is at the window. "Do I look like a farmer to you?", she yells at Chris.
Soon enough all the campers are lined up outside their cabins. The Bass all look pretty tired, but the Gophers all look really exhausted.
On the far right of the Gophers' line, Izzy is talking a mile a minute. "Wow, I can't believe we've already been at this summer camp for three days. It feels so much shorter, you guys. I wonder what today's challenge will be? I hope it's really, really fun!"
As Izzy continued jabbering on, the Gophers all glared at her.
Chris walked up to said team. "Wow, you Gophers look like absolute crap. Care to explain?"
"Izzy kept us up all night with her howling.", said Heather, bluntly.
"Oh, I'm sorry you guys. I only do that at the full moon.", said Izzy.
"It wasn't a full moon last night.", said Gwen hotly.
Izzy stared blankly for a minute. "Oh, well then, I don't know what that was about."
"Anyway, today's challenge will start with a run around the island.", Chris said.
"Oh, so you're funny now, are you?", said Eva, advancing threateningly up to Chris. Luckily, DJ and Geoff halted her progress.
"Eva. Try to control your temper.", hissed Courtney.
"Your enjoying this aren't you?!", yelled Eva at Chris.
"A little.", said Chris, shrugging. "Now, get to your places."
Cut to all the campers lined up at the beach. Chris is in front, holding up a starting pistol. Once he fires it, all the campers start running as one... except for Tyler, who apparently got a bad spot.
Cut once again to further up the trail on the island. Eva, Geoff, Bridgette, Courtney, and DJ are all in the lead. Duncan closely follows, with Trent and Justin (still pretty exhausted) lagging behind.
And, at the very bottom of the pack, Gwen, Lindsay, Beth, and Cody are walking the trail. They are still enduring through their lack of sleep, with Cody in particular trudging forward with a blank expression on his face and drool sliding from his mouth.
As the group of four continue walking, they come across Heather, gasping against a tree. Once she sees her walking teammates, she becomes angry.
"C'mon, you guys, hurry up! The Bass are absolutely creaming us!"
At that moment, Harold and Ezekiel one pass. Harold whispers something to Zeke, and the two snicker.
"See, even Harold and Ezekiel are laughing at us!", said Heather.
A cracking sound from up above interrupted Heather's row, and Izzy dropped down from the trees.
"Hey, guys, what's up? You're still at the bottom of the pack?"
"What were you doing in the trees?", said Lindsay, dazedly.
"Oh, I was pretending I was Tarzan!", said Izzy, before beating her chest and making the Tarzan yell. Her teammates glared at her.
"It's fun, fun, fun up in the trees, you guys should totally try it. Anyway, I'll be running back to camp, if anyone needs me! See you!" She ran off, though not without accidentally hitting Heather to the ground.
"I hate her.", muttered Heather.
Later, at around 12:00 in the afternoon, most of the campers were seated in the mess hall after the long morning of running.
Chris was tapping his feet in annoyance, as well as continually checking his watch. "C'mon, where are they?", he finally said.
The doors burst open, revealing Harold and Ezekiel, both sweating and tired.
"I think... think I'm having heart palpitations!", breathed out Harold.
Behind the duo, Leshawna, Gwen, Lindsay, Beth, and Cody trudged in as well.
"We... we made it!", managed Leshawna collapsing to her knees.
"Where we're you guys?!", said Heather, in a hot fury. "Even Owen could've run better than you guys. We've lost again!"
"Wait a minute, that means that we won!", said Sadie, as the rest of the Bass cheered.
"Woah, woah, woah...", said Chris, holding up his hands. "That run wasn't the challenge. It wasn't even a race."
"What did he just say?", said Gwen.
"Now, who's hungry?", said Chris, ignoring Gwen. He then walked to a conspicuous curtain, and pulled it back, revealing a veritable feast.
The campers all gasped in astonishment.
Confessional (Gwen): After a week of brown paste to eat, I nearly cried when I saw that buffet.
A half an hour later, the campers were all seated around the dinner table, clutching their bulging stomachs.
Chris walked up, cast an eye over the empty plates, and said, "Who's ready for today's challenge to begin.
"What more could you want from us?", said Heather.
"You will all be competing in the... Awake-a-Thon!"
"The A-What-a-Thon?", said Ezekiel.
"Don't worry, this one's an easy one. All you have to do is stay awake the longest, and you win for your team."
"So, all the running and eating was just to make it harder for us to stay awake?", said an incredulous Gwen. "Wow, you're good."
As the rest of the team wandered to the campfire pit, Trent walked up to Gwen. "So, who do you think will fall asleep first?", asked Trent.
A dull thump answered him, as Beth fell to the floor asleep. A nearby Heather facepalmed.
(Gwen): The Awake-a-Thon was the most brutal thing I had ever done.
"This is the most boring thing I've ever had to do.", said Gwen, as she sat next to Trent at the campfire.
It was now early morning, the day after the Awake-a-Thon had begun. Already, Noah, Izzy, Cody, and Lindsay had fallen asleep, joining Beth. No one from the Bass had.
Chris, who was at the podium, said, "And it looks like the Gophers are down five people already. Looks like this'll be a quick match."
Cut to later that night, where the Bass have finally lost some players.
Bridgette and Geoff had fallen into unconsciousness. Meanwhile, at the Gophers, Leshawna was continually nodding off, until finally she flopped to the ground asleep.
"And that's two for the Bass, and six for the Gophers!", said Chris.
Meanwhile, Harold and Ezekiel were playing a game of Magic: The Gathering... or rather Harold was trying to show Zeke how to play.
"So, do you think we're going to win this challenge or not?", said Harold, nonchalantly.
"Of course. The other team has six girls to our five. It's only logical, eh?"
"What was that?", said a dangerous sounding voice from behind.
Eva was staring daggers at Zeke and growling. She picked Zeke up by the shirt collar, and prepared a fist. "You think girls are weaker than boys, huh?"
"Woah, he probably didn't mean anything by it.", sad Harold, quickly.
Chris suddenly appeared. "All right, let's settle down, campers."
Eva reluctantly dropped Ezekiel to the ground, though not without slicing her finger across her neck. Zeke gulped nervously.
The camera moved up to show the moon, then fast-forwards to the next morning.
Chris walks into the campfire pit, drinking a hot cup of coffee. He looks around, and sees that the Bass have lost Tyler, Katie, Sadie, and Harold.
He then looks to the Gophers, only to see Gwen, Trent, and Heather have fallen asleep. Only Justin remained, standing as rigid as a statue, his eyes staring blankly forward.
"The Bass now have one more Gopher to defeat before they can claim another victory.", announced Chris. He then walked up to Justin.
"And it might take a while to defeat Justin; dude's been like a statue for hours!" Chris then leans against Justin's shoulder. The male model... blinked his open eyes.
"His eyelids are painted! I saw it!", yelled out Eva.
"Dude, no way!", said Chris, looking closely at Justin's eyes, while the Adonis smiled sheepishly. "You're still out, dude, which means the Killer Bass wins the challenge!"
The remaining Bass all cheer, while Justin droops down in defeat.
Later that night, at the campfire ceremony, the remaining Gophers were all seated exhaustedly on their seats.
Chris walked up carrying a plate of marshmallows. He placed them on a nearby stump. "When I call your name, please come up and receive your marshmallow...Justin."
Justin smiled, then walked up and grabbed his invincibility.
"Lindsay and Gwen." The two trudged up to the marshmallows.
"Cody and Beth." The two nerds high-fives each other.
"Trent... Leshawna and Heather.", said Chris, as the three came up to receive their treat.
Noah and Izzy both had looks of supreme confidence on their faces. "By my calculations, you were the first two Gophers to fall asleep when the Awake-a-Thon officially began. The final marshmallow goes to...
...
... Noah!" Noah smirked, and went up to receive his marshmallow.
Izzy looked surprised for half a second, then smiled. "Well, the fun couldn't of lasted forever. Bye, you guys; I'lol remember you all in therapy."
She then threw a bright pink ball on the ground, which engulfed her in purple smoke. When the smoke had cleared, Izzy was nowhere to be seen.
Later that night, Ezekiel was walking out of the communal bathroom. Suddenly,a muscular arm grabbed him from behind, pinning his arm to his back.
"You may have got lucky this challenge, but I swear, next time we lose you'll be off this island.", rasped Eva into his ear.
She then let go, laughing to herself, as she walked away from the shivering Ezekiel.
