Chapter 2
Vecna
Luz passing out freaks everyone out. They managed to help Luz up but they saw that her eyes were gray, again.
"Not this again," said Amity, scared about what might happen to Luz. "Luz, please wake up."
Meanwhile, Luz found herself in another nightmare. Luz was once again being chased by her friends, who were talking in distorted voices saying things like,
"Why are you running?"
"Why do you wanna go to Hawkins?"
"You'll risk hurting us."
Back in the real world, Luz's friends and family were trying to wake Luz up.
"Sissy, wake up," said Vee. "I don't like this. Sissy, wake up."
Back in the nightmare, Luz was continuing to run, but she found herself at a dead end, and there was yet another Grandfather Clock with a creepy chime
She looks behind her and doesn't see her friends, but a humanoid figure with no hair and decaying skin approaching her.
"Luz," said the figure. "I understand you've been through a lot, but I can help you. I can end your suffering."
Luz knew she couldn't run, so she stood there and prepared for the worst as the creature brought his hand closer to her face. She believed this thing planned to kill her, and since she didn't feel like she deserved life, she allowed it to happen.
In the real world, Luz's body begins to float off the ground and she hits the ceiling. Now, Luz's friends and family were much more worried about what was happening to Luz.
Meanwhile, in Hawkins, Indiana, Mike, Eleven, Lucas, Max, Dustin, Suzie, Will, and Erica were searching the Creel mansion for any sign that Vecna, the one responsible for all the Upside-Down shenanigans that occurred over the past 8 years, from Will's disappearance all the way to what the townsfolk refer to as "The Munson Murders". They made their way up to the attic where they saw Vecna's physical body there, and from the looks of it, he was busy hunting down a new victim.
"This is for everything," Max whispered as she prepared her flamethrower for Vecna, but he learned from his past mistake, and he instantly removed the vines he had on him and got out of the way of the fire.
Back in Luz's nightmare, Vecna disappeared and a door appeared on the wall blocking her. She opened the door, and she returned to her physical body, where she started to fall. Amity and Willow were able to use abomination and plant magic respectively to break the fall.
Back at the Creel mansion, Vecna grabbed Max with his psychic powers.
"Now to do what I should've done a long time ago," he said.
"Hey Henry," said Eleven.
Vecna looked towards Eleven's direction, right as she sent him flying towards the wall, where Suzie and the boys had set up a spike right where Vecna was sent flying. He gets stabbed through the stomach.
Meanwhile, outside the mansion, Nancy, Jonathan, Steve, and Robin were holding off Vecna's army of demogorgons, demo-dogs, and demo-bats that were guarding the mansion so that the others could get inside.
Suddenly, all the demo-creatures backed down, squealing in pain. "Vecna's down," said Nancy. "But we can't guarantee it will last," said Jonathan. "Come on."
Nancy, Jonathan, Steve, and Robin ran into the mansion.
Back inside the mansion, Vecna was screaming in agony because of the impalement, and Max was, again, about to set him on fire.
Vecna was still able to use his psychic powers to destroy the flamethrower and force the spike off of him.
That's when Nancy, Steve, Jonathan, and Robin run into the attic and Steve was about to fire a pistol at Vecna, but Vecna sent the bullet back towards Steve, hitting him in the leg, before jumping out the window.
Everyone makes their way to Steve to try and tend the wound.
Eleven was able to use her powers to pull the bullet out of the leg, while Robin called 911, Nancy put ice pressure on the wound to stop the bleeding, and Dustin tore one of his sleeves to cover up the wound.
Back at the Noceda household, Luz's friends and family were comforting her over what happened earlier.
"And then," said Luz, tears flooding down her face. "That creature said he would end my suffering and," She stopped herself, as she knew how her friends would react knowing she would willingly let the creature kill her. "I tried to run, but the thing grabbed me. After a few minutes, it disappeared and a door appeared, so I ran through, and that's when I woke up on the ceiling."
"We don't know what's happening," said Camila. "But these nightmares are clearly not normal, because, I don't know if you know, but when you enter these nightmares, your eyes turn gray and during this last one, you floated, so there's clearly something paranormal going on. I can't believe I'm about to say this, but I think our best bet is going to Hawkins to try and get some information, because it's clear this town has had some paranormal history, but it will be a two-day drive because flights are expensive."
"What do you mean expensive?" said Gus, bringing out his palisman, Bailey. "We can just fly there for free?"
"Absolutely not," said Camila. "Remember when you and Hunter flew through town just to get ice cream?"
Flashback
Hunter and Gus decided to go get some ice cream, and since walking is too tiring, they decided to fly there. Gus did some research on flying creatures in the Human Realm, and came across one about big birds called pterodactyls. Gus cast an illusion spell to make himself and Hunter look like these birds while flying. Many townsfolk saw them and were scared for their lives.
End of Flashback
"So I wasn't caught up on the modern Human Realm," said Gus. "I've done some research about modern birds and I've practiced casting the illusion before and," Gus casts an illusion spell on Bailey, causing him to appear like a cardinal. "I think we'll be just fine."
Camila looks at Gus with a suspicious glare.
"Alright," she said. "But I'm coming with you kids. I'm not going to let anything bad happen to you, even if the house burns down while we're gone."
"I'll stay put to make sure that doesn't happen," said Vee.
"Are you sure?" asked Camila. "I never taught you how to watch a house."
"I've got friends that know," said Vee. "And besides," Vee morphs into Camila. "Someone's gotta keep up appearances."
"Tell the staff I've gone home to see my abuela, okay?" said Camila. "Carmen's in charge, Dianne has my schedule. And," Camila hugs Vee. "Thank you, Vee."
Camila, Luz, and the witches make their way outside the house. The witches summon their palismen. Luz climbs onto Amity's staff while Camila climbs onto Willow's, though Camila was shaking.
"Sorry," said Camila. "First time flying. I'm just really nervous."
"Then you might want to hold on tight," said Willow.
Everyone takes off and after they reach a certain height, Gus casted his illusion spell, making them all appear as a small flock of cardinals.

I've gotta give credit to Moringmark.
Moringmark created the Owl House FanMade Comic that had Hunter and Gus going to get ice cream, with Gus casting an illusion to look like a couple of birds, just to appear as pterodactyls. That comic was his and not mine.
