Thanks to you all for the strong positive reception to the last chapter. It is a really great encouragement to have that.

The episode opens like most episodes do in the early morning hours. The sounds of the 11 remaining campers sleeping could be heard throughout the camp.

Suddenly, a thunderous roaring sound is heard coming from the sky.

A broken down propellor plane, mostly held together by duct tape, flew through the sky.

A quick zoom in showed Chris was the one driving the plane, decked out in a costume reminiscent of Luke Skywalker's from the Star Wars movies.

As he sailed lower and lower in the sky, Chris pulled out a megaphone and leaned out of the plane's driverside window.

"It's challenge time, campers!!!", he yelled out, echoing throughout the camp amidst the groans of the campers.

Soon, all the campers were lined up in front of Chris, who had previously landed the plane.

As he polished the side to a clear sheen, Chris said absently, "Wow, I can't wait to get my pilot's license."

"Um, what was that?", said Noah.

"Nothing.", said Chris, turning to the campers. "Today's challenge will be an... X-treme!!! Sports!!! Challenge!!!!!"

Chris looked to his campers, only to find them looking unamused. Trent even coughed expectantly.

Chris sighed. "Look, we're doing extreme sports, like sky-diving or acrobatic stuff. The first challenge will be sky-diving off of this plane onto the island."

"Trent and DJ will be sky-diving for both of their teams, while the rest of you will be trying to get the 'cushions' in the right place."

Trent and DJ walked up to the plane. "Um, have you ever been... skydiving before?", said DJ, nervously.

"Aw, yeah, man, it's wicked!", said Trent, enthusiastically. "That is... just so long as your parachute deploys."

"Sometimes they don't?", said DJ, shocked.

"Yeah, but only on like rare occasions.", said Trent, walking away.

DJ gulped heavily.

Cutting to the beach of the camp, we see that the Gophers are all struggling with moving their 'cushion' to the correct spot.

The 'cushion' in question had just turned out to be a couch with the bed folded out.

Cody stopped for a moment, and wiped the sweat off his brow. He then looked at Noah, Beth, and Gwen, and said, "Chris couldn't have given us a blow-up mattress or something?"

"Let's just be glad he shilled out the bare minimum to get these stained couches.", snarked Noah.

Meanwhile, the Bass were moving their couch at a much more brisker pace, with Duncan and Geoff carrying it between them, while Harold, Ezekiel, and Sadie walked beside.

Back at the Gophers, Beth suddenly dropped her end of the couch. "I can't go any further.", she announced, rubbing her aching arms.

Gwen wiped the sweat off her brow, and looked to the sky. "We are pretty far out in the open by now. I'm sure Trent will be able to aim for the couch."

"Sounds good to me.", said Noah, grateful for an excuse to stop carrying the couch.

Cut to high in the air above Wawanawkwa. Chris' beat-up plane came sputtering into view.

The side door slid open to reveal Trent and DJ leaning out.

"Are you ready for the most extreme moment of your life?!", said Trent to DJ. DJ whimpered in reply.

Chris suddenly appeared, holding two clipboards to the sky-divers. "If you all could just sigh these real fast, that'd be great!"

"What is it?", said Trent, as he and DJ signed.

"Oh, just some waivers and organ donation contracts. Nothing too important.", said Chris, evasively. "Drop time is in five minutes."

Trent looked up at DJ with a sympathetic look. "Hey, you going to be OK, big guy?"

DJ, touched by Trent's sincerity, said, "Thanks, man, I think I'll be OK."

DJ then patted him on the back... a little too hard. Trent lost his sense of balance, and plummeted out the plane, screaming all the way.

DJ looked back and saw both their parachutes sitting nearby. DJ screeched, as Chris said, "Wow, hate to see that happen."

On the ground, the Gophers were watching Trent's descent with increasing nervousness.

"Why isn't he deploying his parachute?!", said Beth.

"I don't know, he should've deployed it by now.", said Noah, looking uncharacteristically worried.

A scream and thump later, Trent's outline marred the beach. Everyone looked down into the Trent shaped hole, as the musician groaned in pain.

Another scream echoed throughout the beach, causing the Gophers to look up. DJ, curled up into a ball, was floating gently down to the Bass' unfurled sofa.

He landed with a gentle squeak, as the Bass breathed a sigh of relief. Then, the sofa folded back in, trapping DJ, causing everyone to wince.

Trent was soon loaded up onto a gurney. He was bandaged from head to toe, ready to be wheeled to the infirmary.

Gwen rushed up to the seemingly unconscious Trent, and said, "Oh, Trent, I'm so sorry. We should've pushed the sofa out farther."

Trent opened his eyes a little, and slurred something incomprehensible.

"I gave him a shot of morphine.", said Chef. "He'll be fine, but it'll take him a few weeks to recover."

"A few weeks?", said Cody. Gwen looked at him, as well as Noah and Beth. She could see in their faces that they knew that Trent wouldn't be much use during a three-week recovery period.

As Trent was wheeled away, Gwen bit her lip in fear.

(Gwen): This is all my fault! If we had just moved the sofa just a few inches farther... (grunts in exasperation)

The next challenge was to be held in a sizable clearing on the outskirts of camp, right before the trees of the forest began.

Once the campers had arrived at this clearing, they were confused to see piles of dirty underwear and socks covering the grassy area.

Even stranger, a moose was tied up in a small, fenced in area off to the side.

Chris and Chef soon arrived, with Chris taking out his trusty clipboard. "OK, our next x-treme sports challenge will be wild-moose riding!"

"Two campers from each team will ride this wild bull moose. The camper who lasts the longest on the moose will receive a point for their team. Oh, and be sure you don't get thrown off the moose; we've stocked the area with Chef's... filthy... laundry.", explained Chris, emphasizing the last three words, as the camera zoomed in on a particular pile.

Sadie gagged at the sight and smell.

"The campers who will be competing are... Geoff and Beth!", said Chris.

"All right, this is going to be sick! Right, dudette?!", said Geoff, raising his hand to high-five Beth.

Beth didn't look remotely scared by the challenge. She just shrugged and high-five'd Geoff, smiling.

Soon, Geoff was on the bull moose. He proceeded to lightly pat the moose's shoulder, saying cooingly, "Easy, girl. We can do this."

This was apparently the wrong thing to do to a bull moose. Fire literally spewed out of the moose's nostrils, as it saw red.

"Mary, mother of God...", began Chef, who was quickly flattened by the moose stampeding through the gate.

Geoff lasted approximately seven seconds on the bull moose. He was flung head first into a pile of dirty socks.

Everyone grimaced, as Geoff woozily stuck his head out from the pile, a sock lodged in his mouth.

Beth's turn was next. She got up on the fence holding the moose in, as Chef fixed the broken gate with duct tape.

Beth showed little to no reaction when she swung her legs onto the moose's back, while the moose gave a cocky smile at the thought of this little teen riding his back.

Suddenly, the moose rushed forward, knocking the newly mended fence on top of Chef once again.

The moose charged around the whole camp, trying it's best to buck Beth off its back.

As the other campers watched, the scene suddenly flashed forward to show that it was now late in the afternoon.

The moose had yet to knock Beth off, and was now leaning against a tree, huffing and puffing in exhaustion.

Finally, the moose fell to the ground, too tired to move, with Beth landing skillfully on her feet.

"And Beth wins the second challenge!", said Chris, walking up and raising Beth's hand in victory. "That means that the score is now one to one."

Beth walked over to her fellow teammates, who were looking at her appraisingly.

"What?", she said.

"You just stayed on a bull moose's back for two hours straight.", said Cody, in awe.

"My uncle owns a cattle ranch.", said Beth. "If you've seen half the stuff he didn't teach me, you wouldn't be surprised at me winning."

Beth looked around. "Hey, where's Gwen?"

Indeed, Cody and Noah seemed to be the only Gophers who watched Beth's challenge.

"I'll go find her.", said Noah, leaving.

Cut to Gwen sitting beside Trent's bed in the infirmary. The musician is still covered in bandages, and still unconscious.

Gwen sighed, as Noah walked up behind her. "Hey, you missed the second part of the challenge.", he said, crossing his arms.

"I'll be out in a second.", said Gwen, looking like she wasn't going to do just that.

Noah was about to leave, when he pulled up a chair. "Hey, so if we lose tonight, most everyone's probably going to vote Trent off. You know that, right?"

"I know.", said Gwen, sadly.

"Maybe it's for the best.", muttered Noah.

"Wait, what?", said Gwen, looking angry. "How is it for the best, he's losing out at a 100,000 dollars?"

"Well, I mean, he's not going to actually enjoy getting it if he's in immense pain through half the challenges, is he?"

Gwen seemed to mull this over for a second, then stood up and walked out.

Noah looked down at Trent's prone body, and rubbed the back of his guiltily.

(Noah): Did I feel guilty about making Gwen feel like crap and throwing Trent under the bus? Yeah, a little, but I'm going to win this game, even if it costs what little remains of my soul.

Cut to a large mud pit on the outskirts of camp. Every available camper walked up to it, looking at it with varying degrees of disgust.

Chris was already there. "Welcome, campers, to the final X-treme Sports Challenge!", he said, gesturing with wide arms at the mud pit.

"The final challenge will be... mud jet-skiing!"

"Isn't it like impossible to jet ski on dirt?", said Duncan.

"Not impossible.", said Chris, shaking his head. "Just very, very, very difficult."

He gestured to Chef, who was testing out one of the jet skis on the mud pit. As soon as he started the engine, it careened into the woods, leaving only the echoes of Chef's screams of terror behind.

"What fun.", chuckled Chris, absently, as the rest of the campers looked horrorstruck.

"OK, so one camper from a team rides behind the jet ski on water skis and grabs as many flags as he can on the course. A camper from another team will be driving the jet ski, and who will try to mess up the flag collecting."

Chris consulted his trusty clipboard. "Skiing for the Bass is... Harold!"

"Yes!", said the nerd. "Time to show off my mad water skiing skills."

"And skiing for the Gophers..."

"Not it.", said Noah, putting a finger to his nose. Beside him, Cody tried to reach his nose, only to realize that this would look pathetic.

"You heard him, Cody.", said Chris, sadistically. "He's not it."

Cody was about to protest against this, but just sighed in defeat.

"And as for the drivers...", continued Chris.

Duncan was about to volunteer for the Bass, when a voice rang out across the clearing. "I'll do it for the Gophers.", said Gwen, raising her hand.

"Any other volunteers?", said Chris, looking about.

"Guess I will.", said Duncan, shrugging.

Cut to Duncan on the jet ski looking back at Cody on the water skis with a nasty look on his face. "Eat dirt, nerd.", he said, as Chris shot the starter pistol.

"Wait, what?", said Cody, shocked, just as Duncan revved up the ski and shot forward.

Every camper watching winced and cringed as Cody was pulled this way and that by Duncan's jet ski, having been flung off the skis when Duncan started.

Cody was soon shown to be leaning against a nearby tree, covered in mud and holding an ice pack up to his head.

(Duncan): Y'know, sometimes, it just helps to get your inner bully out.

Chris walked up to the remaining campers. "All right, as stated before, Gwen and Harold will be the next campers up for this challenge."

"You got this, Gwen.", yelled out Beth, as Gwen and Harold made their way to the mud pit. "We believe in you!"

As Beth continued to encourage Gwen, the latter kept looking guiltier and guiltier.

That guilty face stuck as Chris awarded Harold the winner of the challenge sometime after.

Harold was covered in mud and bruises, but nonetheless looked happy about his win.

"And for the winners go the spoils.", said Chris. "You will all be receiving one trip to a spa/shower for one night only." The camera panned to the right to reveal a luxurious spa, right next to the communal bathrooms."

The Bass all screamed in delight, loudest of all being Sadie, who leapt up to the building, hugging it.

As the Bass went to prepare, Beth, Noah, and Cody walked up to Gwen. "What happened?", asked Beth.

"Oh, I guess he really does have mad skills after all.", said Gwen, nervously.

(Gwen): I can't believe I did that. I can't believe I threw a challenge just so Trent would be eliminated. But, Noah was right, Trent will be better looked at at a real hospital.

Cut to later that night, where the Bass are all enjoying their shower experience.

"Once I win the 100 grand, it'll always be like this.", said Duncan, stepping out of one of the showers.

"I can't believe how good a shower could feel like that.", said Geoff. "Normally, at home, I don't bathe for like days at a time."

"Oh, I don't really want to hear that.", said Sadie, smiling nonetheless.

Chris suddenly walked by, followed by Gwen wheeling Trent to the dock of shame. Cody, Beth, and Noah soon followed.

"Who got eliminated, eh?", said Ezekiel.

"Oh, Trent.", said Chris, absently. "Unanimous vote."

Cut to all the Gophers at the dock of shame, saying their goodbyes to a still very groggy Trent.

"Goodbye, Trent, take care.", said Beth, hugging the injured teen.

"Bye, dude.", said Noah. "Sorry we didn't really hang out any."

"See you later, guy.", said Cody, holding out his hand to fist bump.

"See you guys, tomorrow.", said Trent, sleepily, bumping Cody's fist.

The three gophers all cringed, likely figuring out that Trent didn't even realize what was happening.

As the three of them walked away, Gwen knelt down and kissed Trent's cheek. Despite the pain killers numbing his senses, Trent still blushed at the sign of affection.

"Goodbye, Trent, see you after the game.", said Gwen, then walked quickly away.

As Chef wheeled Trent into the boat, Gwen walked by a tree. And from behind the tree?

Noah looked out, satisfied in the knowledge that Gwen reluctantly did what he had intended her to do.

This was a comparatively lighter, shorter chapter that the previous one; the only real surprise is Trent's earlier elimination.

In other news, ladies and gentlemen, we have out merging competitors!!! Let's give a round of applause to our ten mergers.

However, if you know the canon events of this season, you will know it won't stay ten for long...
