Dawn made it to the Animal Squadron gym just in time. As soon as she arrived, she saw Kaito in his wrestling outfit. He stood right by the wrestling ring where ten male wrestlers awaited for him inside.

Satoru stood out from the crowd to speak. "Okay, Kaito. This is the 10 Beasts Fury. Each of the ten of us will hit you with ten moves. Got it, boys? No holds. Just attacks."

"Yes." Ichiro said. "This isn't the first time we did this, you know."

"Okay then." Satoru said. "Kaito, if you still stand after all 100 attacks, then you can have your debut match. The following Animal Squadron members will test you in this order: Yoshi, Ichiro, Kenji, Kisuke, Sasuke, Takeda, Sakon, Hanzo, Kotaro, and myself. Are you ready?"

Kaito hesitated to answer. Dawn saw how nervous he was and put her hand on his shoulder to calm him down.

"You got this." Dawn said.

"I don't know." Kaito said nervously. "What if I fail?"

"Then you get stronger and try again." Dawn said. "But you don't have to do that because I know you can do it. So get on top of that horse and ride it."

Kaito gave a smile before taking a deep breath. He proceeded to enter the practice ring while most of the guys stood outside. The only guy in the ring with Kaito was Yoshi.

"Ready… Go!" Satoru commanded beginning the test.

Yoshi proceeded to charge right at Kaito with a running elbow strike which Kaito grunted to. Yoshi proceeded to hit Kaito with eight other aerial moves before finishing it up with a hurricarana. Kaito's facial expression showed that it hurt like crazy, but he still managed to return to his feet.

"Good work, Kaito." Dawn congratulated under her breath. "That's ten down and ninety to go. You're off at a good start."

Once Yoshi was done, he left and Ichiro took his place. He cracked his knuckled before going for a crack at Kaito. His attacks were more ruthless and clearly made it much harder for Kaito to recover from. Eventually, though, Ichiro's time was done and tagged the next contender. At this time, Kaito struggled with a bit of effort to get back up.

The next person to test Kaito was Kenji. He went at Kaito with his attacks. He used hard slams and powerful attacks that would've set up anyone in the ring for a pinfall. But considering that this was a test of endurance, Kenji kept hitting Kaito until his turn was up. Kaito managed to stand back up in the end, but he was breathing heavily. Dawn was beginning to get worried.

Kenji left the ring to make room for Kisuke. Like any other match, Kisuke was sadistic when utilizing his move set. A few of his kung fu moves managed to make Kaito lose his breath for a second. Dawn wanted to look away from what she was seeing, but she couldn't. Thankfully, Kisuke finished his tenth move and left the ring. Like before, Kaito returned to his feet with effort.

Sasuke came into the ring leaping over the ropes. He was polite to Kaito, but he didn't hesitate to use his high-flying moves to overwhelm him. In the end, Sasuke was done and waited for Kaito's response. It was then that Kaito was beginning to waver, but he still had the strength to get back up. Sasuke smiled and left the ring for the next guy.

Takeda entered the ring all ready and focused. With each strong and fast strike and throw, he made it harder for Kaito to stay conscious. Kaito was just lucky that there was no blood. Otherwise, Takeda would be a lot more savage. After his tenth attack, Takeda was gone.

Sakon made a flashy entrance as he entered the ring. He posed like a showman before he began is assault on Kaito. He hit him with moves that would get an excited reaction if they were public. He did have a habit of hamming it up in his wrestling style. Satoru was the one who did the counting, so when Sakon's time was up, he told him to leave the ring for the next competitor. Kaito felt a little silly being the victim of showy moves, but he wasn't going to let it get to him.

The sight of Hanzo made Kaito wish partly that he was unconscious already. He didn't just have a bear gimmick; he was the size of a bear. That made the next moves fast, but extremely rough. Kaito almost blacked out, but after the 80th move, he returned to his senses and tried to get back up. He took a moment to rest on the ropes before he stood back up on his feet. Dawn rushed over to talk to him.

"You okay? That looked like it was the worst."

Kaito took a very deep breath before answering. "Yeah… Well, I'll be fine."

"Are you sure?" Dawn asked. "Look, I won't think any less of you if you decide to call it a day. You'll get another chance like this."

"Never say die." Kaito answered before standing back up.

One Kaito stepped away from the ropes, Kotaro stepped up. Kotaro had a stoic look on his face before he threw his fists at Kaito and tossed him around. All his moves were quick as if he couldn't wait to be done. After the 90th move, Kotaro didn't show much care and left the ring. Kaito stood up on his feet with shaking knees. He looked like he was ready to pass out and he almost slipped. But he recovered and got himself ready for the last one.

Last, but certainly not least, Satoru Hayabusa entered the ring. He usually adopts different fighting styles for different opponents, but in this case, he decided to use his Dragon style kung fu. He ran right to Kaito to attack. Though he sympathized with the rookie, he didn't hesitate to hit him with a barrage of kicks and chops from his style. Kaito almost blacked out, especially after the 100th and final move, the cutter.

Once Sotaru was done, he backed up from Kaito to see if he'll get up. Feeling worried, Dawn went into the ring and stood next to the Animal Squadron ace. For the first few moments, Kaito was completely motionless and everybody began to think he didn't have it yet. But surprisingly, Kaito's arm began to twitch. Everyone saw how he planted his hand onto the mat and he pushed himself up to his feet. It took great effort, much like Atlas lifting the entire sky by himself. But in the end, Kaito was able to stand up straight with his half-asleep head held high.

Dawn smile and ran up to him. Kaito finally managed to drop backwards, but thankfully, she was able to catch him.

"Did I do it?" he groaned. Dawn looked at Satoru for his answer.

The ace smiled and shrugged. "Of course, he did. He managed to stand back up after 100 attacks. That makes him ready. Now, somebody get this guy to the infirmary."

"I got it." Hanzo said as he got into the ring. Dawn helped get Kaito in his arms and he carried him out of the gym area.

"Well, we better wish him good luck." Ichiro said. "Just because he's ready for a public match, it doesn't mean he'll win."

"Yeah, I can only imagine." Yoshi said.

"Now, all that's left is to find him a debut opponent." Satoru said.

"Think you can let me in on who it is?" Dawn asked. "I just hope it's someone Kaito can handle."

"You let us worry about that." Satoru said. "Why don't you head on out of here? We'll tell him you said congratulations."

Dawn nodded with a proud smile and left the Animal Squadron gym.

Juri Sanada stopped her car right beside the Berserk gym. It had just opened, so there wasn't a lot of people there. There were just the four people she expected to see: Inoba, Sayuri, Jackal, and Misaki. They all met up in the office and sat down.

Sayuri gave a cup of tea to Juri which she accepted. "Glad you could make it."

"Glad to be here." Juri said. "I do want to get this Yoshiko incident cleared up."

"There's nothing to clear up." Jackal said. "She's a wild one with dangerous jealousy. There's actually a lot of those in the wrestling world."

"I know that." Juri said. "I expected some unruly wrestlers when I started Miyabi, but this beginning to worry me. If this matter isn't settled soon, I worry we may have another situation like Kassidy Klaws."

"Well, how do we fix this?" Inoba asked.

"The only thing I can think of is to give Yoshiko what she wants." Sayuri said. "A match against Sakura."

"It's not just Yoshiko." Juri said. "We just got rid of the bad reputation we were forced to have thanks to Klaws. And because of the Blue Panther, and now, Yoshiko, people are going to think that Miyabi just despises Berserk."

"That's ridiculous." Misaki said. "I know we're rivals, but we have nothing but respect for you."

"I know that, but the public's faith is beginning to wane." Juri said. "We need to show them there are no hard feelings between our two gyms."

Everyone paused for a moment to think. Suddenly, Sayuri's eyes lit up and inspiration made her smile. "I got it."

"You do?" Juri asked.

"Here's what we're going to do." Sayuri said. "We'll be hosting… a cross-promotional event. Berserk vs Miyabi."

"Berserk vs Miyabi?" Juri asked.

"That's right." Sayuri assured. "Nine matches. Miyabi's wrestlers against Berserk's. This should show the public that there's no hard feelings between us. Or at the very least, it should settle any bad blood between us. For example, we'd have Sakura vs Yoshiko."

Jackal placed her finger on her chin pondering her old rival's idea. "There would be some benefits to this plan."

"Well, I think that would be a good idea." Misaki said. "And for the main event, perhaps I should go against Misaki. Ace vs ace."

Juri couldn't help but smile. "That sounds fun. It would be fun for me to kick your butt again." Misaki returned her competitive smile.

"Well, I guess that settles that." Inoba said. "A Berserk vs Miyabi event. So who's going to compete besides Sakura, Yoshiko, Misaki, and Juri?"

"We'll think it over and send each other suggestions later on this week." Sayuri said. "And to make it more interesting, how's about a little friendly competition between our gyms?"

"How so?" Juri asked.

"Whichever gym has the most wins gets 60% of the event's proceeds."

Jackal chuckled. "You always know how to hype up an event, Sayuri."

Author's Note: Sorry this took a while. Me and Foxboy614 were discussing who would be in the Ten Beasts Fury and what they'd do. When you look up a few of these Animal Squadron members, you probably won't find a bio for them, so he had to tell me. Anyway, our next arc will focus on a Berserk vs Miyabi event. We've already got Sakura vs Yoshiko and Misaki vs Juri. Who else would you like to see in a match? Remember, if you want to suggest matches, the Berserk profiles will be on chapters 9 and 28 while the Miyabi profiles will be on chapter 29.
