Hey, everyone! It's been a while, I know. Hopefully this message finds anyone subscribed to this fic/me in general. This is just a courtesy message to let anyone who still cares know that, at the beginning of August, I'm going to be taking a good chunk of my fics down from fanfiction dot net. Gone. Bam. Deleted forever. This is mainly because I feel like they don't really represent my current level of writing, and in a lot of cases I'm really genuinely embarassed by my younger self's writing. Not all of my fics are going to be gone - some things, especially my most recent fics, will remain as they are (for now). But anything prior to about 2016 (including this collection) is most likely going kaput.

If you want to save any of these fics for any reason, be my guest! That's why I'm giving advance warning I'll probably be making a backup myself, for posterity's sake, and so I can laugh gently to myself in a decade or so. I recommend FicHub dot net for quick and easy downloading from this website.

After this, I probably won't be posting to fanfiction dot net at all. I had a good time here in my younger years, but the interface and interaction just doesn't vibe with me anymore. However, I'm still writing! And drawing, and making stuff in general. I'm on the Archive Of Our Own, intermittently posting fanfiction of various sorts - my username's the same there, TheBigCat. I am also on Tumblr, where you can find my art and TTRPG exploits, as strange-destinations. And from there, you should be able to find me in all other sorts of places, because I make a lot of things. I like to think I've improved a lot.

If you're reading this and you remember me from all of the nonsense I wrote in high school, please do reach out however you want! I'd love to hear from you. And if you don't feel like reaching out but you're still reading this, thanks for being a part of my life back then, and I hope you're doing good now. I hope we're all doing good.
