Wheeljack retrieved his swords he had dropped during his struggle with the Predacon and charged into the group. " This is more like it," he thought as he took down three of the Decepticons. Suddenly, something big slammed into the back of his helm.
The world spun as Wheeljack went down, hard.
" Hello again, wrecker. " A familiar voice said " I haven't forgotten our last encounter, when that human girl saved you from me. "
Wheeljack's optics widened in shock. " Hardshell !? No that's impossible ! " he denied
" That is very much possible, thanks to Shockwave. " Hardshell responded before throwing Wheeljack away
Wheeljack got up but Hardshell was already charging at him, Horn first and striked him more.
" Now, you can call me Ram Horn. " Hardshell stated before raising his claws to finish Wheeljack.
And he would have if the raptor predacon didn't jump on his back and slashed him with its claws.
Ram Horn shook himself trying to dislodge the raptor but Wheeljack managed to get up, retrieve his swords and charged the insecticon, kicking him in the face. The predacon jumped and landed near Wheeljack.
" Thanks for the help. " The white wrecker said
before the two charged the insecticon and attacked him at the same time.
Ram Horn was defending himself very well but he didn't notice they were actually pushing him back towards a cliff and Wheeljack threw a grenade at him, which exploded, making Ram Horn fall.
Now alone again, the improbable allies regarded each other for a long moment. "Uh. . . thanks again," Wheeljack finally said. The Raptor snorted at him and took off into the high grass. "Fine! But I want a rematch," Wheeljack shouted after it.
( with Bulkhead )
Bulkhead was currently trying to overpower an insecticon who proved to be more than a challenge.
" Leave that one to me. " A familiar voice said
The insecticon left the area, showing a newcomer.
" If one of those give you trouble, rust head, then this will be too easy for me. " The unknown bot said
Bulkhead's optics widened in shock. " Breakdown !? "
" In the flesh, so to say. " Breakdown answered " And now, the name's Quickstrike. Wanna Guess why ? "
Quickstrike then rapidly pointed his snake-arm at Bulkhead, throwing a green liquid in his optics.
" Gah, my optics ! " Bulkhead yelled in pain
" Like my venom ? Then you'll love my alt-mode. " Quickstrike taunted before transforming into a scorpion
Bulkhead tried to defend himself but couldn't see anything while Quickstrike was striking him with his claws and the snake-head before soon sending him on the ground.
" Say goodbye, Bulkhead. " Quickstrike taunted, raising his claws to finish him off
But rapid footsteps were heard and the horned predacon from earlier returned and rammed into Quickstrike, sending him through several trees before it sniffed Bulkhead.
His optics were now clearer and he saw his unexpected savior.
" Uh, thanks big guy. " Bulkhead said
The beast snorted and ran away.
( With Jack and Arcee)
The two continued to fly when they were attacked by missiles fired from above. They stopped to see their new enemy who was... A flying Manta Ray ?
" What the heck ? " Jack asked
" Shouldn't it live in the seas ? " Arcee added
" Don't know about this one. I go up, you go low. " Jack answered
" Got it, partner. " Arcee responded before going down
Dracarys went to confront the ray and breathed fire at it but it avoided the attack and continued to fire missiles at Jack who avoided it too. Arcee then emerged from the clouds and rammed into the ray, horns first, making it swirl out of control and Jack tail slapped it, sending it towards the ground.
The couple followed it, changed into robot mode and saw it transformed into...
" Dreadwing ?! " the two said
" Yes, now they call me Depth Charge. " he said before shooting laser from the ray's mouth on his torso.
They blocked it with their wings before Jack ran towards Dreadwing, punched him, making him turn around and seized him from behind.
" Dreadwing, what are you doing ? Have you forgotten what Megatron and Starscream did to Skyquake ? " Dracarys asked
" I didn't but I don't have a choice : Shockwave ripped a part of my spark. It's now in his filthy hands and if he press it, it cause me pain unlike any other. " Dreadwing explained before headbutting Jack and striking him with the manta tail " So whether I like it or not, I must do his dirty work. "
But Dreadwing was then attacked from above by a... winged white wolf ? who threw metal feathers at him before diving and biting him
" Of course, a wolf fly. " Arcee snarked before shooting fire at Dreadwing who was pushed back.
" Another time, Dracarys Prime. " Dreadwing stated before flying away in beast mode
The two dragons turned towards the wolf who was wagging its tail.
" Thanks for the help. " Dracarys said
The wolf happily barked and flew away.
( with Smokescreen and Bumblebee)
The two autobots were getting up with the riger and the cheetah and turned around to see the spider still on the cliff wall with its mandibles clicketing together as if it was laughing at them.
" Ha, ha, very funny, spidey. " Smoke snarked
A screech was then heard from above and the hawk and pteranodon met by Ultra Magnus earlier arrived. The hawk then breathed fire on Bee and Smoke who took cover behind a rock while the Tiger jumped on the reptile's back and the spider on the Hawk's. As the hawk ceased it's attack, it flew away with its companions while the cheetah ran at high speed underneath them.
Smoke and Bee took a look and saw their targets disappeared but buzzing was heard.
A giant wasp was flying towards them.
" Waspinator hurt boss bot enemies ! " It yelled in a familiar voice
" Hey, I think I heard that voice before. " Smoke stated
" ( Yes, I recognize it. It's Silas voice. ) " Bee said, eyes widened
" Silas ?! The Mech Guy who kidnapped June and stole your T-cog before being in Breakdown's body ? " Smoke asked
" ( Yes, him ) " Bumblebee answered
" Waspinator remember yellow bot. Yellow bot will be finished. " Waspinator yelled
Smoke then shot at him, making the wasp dodge it but it crashed into the Cliff, fall on the ground and saw a giant boulder coming towards him.
" Waspinator will be hurt. " Silas said in a tiny voice before being crushed.
The two autobots looked at each other and shrugged.
" So, who will tell the boss about it ? " Smoke asked
( with Jazz )
Jazz was having a hard time to land a hit on the rat who was fast enough to jump around him, on the trees or digging underground. But as it repeated, It took something from its fur and threw it towards Jazz who caught it.
" Dude, you sucks at throwing. " Jazz mocked
The rat then smirked and the object then emitted an electric charge who stunned Jazz long enough for the rat to get away.
( with Ironhide)
The gorilla jumped, caughed on a tree and swung, striking Ironhide with its feet. The veteran bot then charged him but the gorilla backanded him, seized him and punched him in the head and threw him against a tree.
" Okay, you're good but I am better. " Ironhide said, letting out his cannons and shooting at the gorilla
The beast avoided the shoots by running around Ironhide then it sprinted, seized the autobot and threw him against another tree. Ironhide got up but the gorilla backanded him, uppercutted him and threw a boulder at his head stunning Ironhide.
It then pounded on its chest, roared in Ironhide's face and went away.
" Beaten by a monkey. I'm never going to live it down. " Ironhide moaned
( with Elita )
Elita was continuing to observe the three predacons. The crab was eating the boar's corpse while the scorpion and the ant were waiting their turn.
" Elita, do you copy ? " Raf asked
" I hear you, little one. " She whispered
" What's your status ? " Raf asked
" I have the three predacons in my sight. They are just eating an animal. " Elita answered
" Forget about them, Nightviper has a bigger one in her sight. " Raf said
" Understood, Elita-1 out. " Elita said before going away
Suddenly the ground erupted near them and Jazz's rat emerged from a hole and squeaked to the invertebrates who nodded and followed after it in the ground.
( autobot base )
Raf was keeping an eye on the radar and called upon everyone.
" Raf to team Prime, Nightviper has her predacon still in sight. "
" Understood, Raf. Everyone go to Nightviper's position. " Dracarys ordered
( Nemesis)
Soundwave intercepted the comms and reported it to Megatron.
" Send the troops towards their position when they are reunited. " Megatron said
( with Nightviper)
The T-Rex has finished eating the spiderbot and was now eating the moose.
" I always wanted to see a dinosaur but that's not how I imagined it. " Sierra said
" Yeah, it wouldn't have been as awesome as this. " Miko said
" Girls, quiet. " June said
They were soon discretly joined by Ultra Magnus, Arcee and Jack in robot mode, Elita, Ironhide, Smoke and Bee, Jazz and Wheeljack.
" What is it doing ? " Smoke asked
" Eating animals. " June explained
" It can do that ? " Wheeljack asked, surprised
"GUYS! You're not going to. . ." Bulkhead yelled before noticing everyone staring at him in shock. And the reason was made clear when he spotted the T-Rex Predacon, it was looking directly at them. "Umm, Whoops."
The T-Rex roared at them and prepared to charge when Jack placed himself before in front of his team, glaring at the predacon.
Dracarys unfolded his wings to make himself seems taller.
( On the Nemesis)
With Lazerbeak's help, Soundwave showed Megatron, Starscream, Shockwave and Knockout what was happening.
" Decepticons, kill them all. " Megatron ordered
( with the autobots)
The standoff was interrupted by vehicons charging at them. Sierra and Miko yelped in surprise as Jazz seized them and hid them behind a boulder for protection before he joined the others.
But the T-Rex was faster than them and rammed into a group of vehicons, tail slapped one and crushed another in its jaws. Aerial cons attacked from above but it breathed fire at them making them explode. It then turned towards the autobots, snorted and ran away.
" "Well that was a short fight," Wheeljack grumbled, watching the Deceptions corpses.
"What about the Predacons ?" Bulkhead asked.
" Well, they only were hostile towards when we were towards them. " Jazz pointed out
" We'll look for them another time. Let's go home. " Dracarys decided
( Nemesis)
"CURSE YOU, JACKSON DARBY !" Megatron slammed his fist into one of the monitors causing everyone to back away.
"Well that fell flat," Knock Out muttered.
" We must absolutely find these predacons before Predaking hear about them ! " Megatron ordered
Unberstknown to the five of them, Predaking coincidentally walked outside the room and heard what Megatron just said. Questions were filling his mind. Surviving predacons ?
He returned to his quarters and consulted a computer to learn about this " Jackson Darby " Megatron seemed to hate so much.
( autobots base )
" So how did it go ? " Raf asked
Nightviper's gaze fell on Ironhide, Jazz, Wheeljack and Bulkhead.
" You four, Med bay. Now. " she ordered them
" We're fine, June. " Jazz tried to Say
" Med. Bay. Now. " She repeated, looking intensely at them
" Okay. " He obeyed, followed by the other three.
Sierra and Miko joined Raf in their area and the younger boy asked, "So what happened?"
"It was amazing!" Miko pretty much shouted, "You know I'm not usually a dino girl but that was AWESOME!"
" Okay. the non-excited version please. " Raf asked
" The T-Rex you saw on the web, we saw it. " Sierra answered
" Everyone, what did you encountered ? Arcee and I met Dreadwing, refformated as a Manta Ray then a winged wolf. " Jack said
" I met Breakdown, Now a Scorpion with a snake head on his tail and a big grey horned predacon. " Bulkhead recapped
" A rhino. " Sierra said, taking notes while Raf showed them images on his computer
" Mine was Hardshell, and a bipedal lizard with big claws on its toes. " Wheeljack said
" A raptor. " Raf noted showing them the image
" That's it but mine didn't have feathers but scales. " Wheeljack said
" Mine was a rodent with big teeth. " Jazz said
" A rat. " Raf said
" Mine was a very big monkey. " Ironhide said
" A gorilla. " Sierra said
" I met a flying reptile and a bird with claws on his toes and a hooked beak. " Ultra Magnus reported
" A pteranodon and a bird of prey. " Raf noted
" Ours were a black spider, a spotted and slim cat and a bigger one with black stripes. " Smoke said with Bee nodding
" A black widow, a cheetah and a tiger. " Sierra noted
" And mine were a big crustacean, an arachnid with a stinger on its tail and a strong red insect with long antennas. " Elita concluded
" A crab, a scorpion and an ant. " Raf said
" So even if Predacons inspired monsters from greek Mythology and medieval litterature, those we met looked like real animals. " June said
" Shockwave must have done something to them. " Jazz said
" How are we going to find them now ? " Bulkhead asked
" Becoming predacons isn't just winning fire and muscles. We gained super senses, we can track them. " Arcee said
" It's better that Arcee, mom and I go. They may be more trusting if they were approached by brethren. " Jack said
( Nemesis)
Predaking was going out for a hunt. He refused to allow an autobot leader to steal his brethren from him.
( In a cave )
The predacons were reunited in this place and were resting, watched over by the T-Rex and the gorilla. Suddenly, the wolf smelled something coming near the cave and barked.
The T-Rex and the gorilla got out of the cave and were greeted by the legless female and the two alphas.
" We mean you no harm. " Dracarys said, raising a paw in peace
The two Leaders tilted their heads questionningly.
" Can you transform like this ? " Arcee asked before she and Jack transformed into robot mode
The two leaders looked at each other and imitated Jack and Arcee.
The T-Rex transformed into a robot as tall as Jack and Arcee, with his notable features were the legs staying the same as in beast mode, the T-Rex head on his right arm and the tail on his left arm and the purple visor on his eyes.
The gorilla transformed into a black robot as tall as his colleague and looking strangely like a younger Optimus, with some gorilla parts on his torso and shoulders.
" So that's what it feels like, yes. " T-Rex said
" It feels weird but I'm sure we'll manage. " Gorilla said
" I'm sure you have questions and we'll do our best to answer. " June said
"What are you. . . what are we. Why are we so different from everything else?" Gorilla asked
Arcee took a deep vent, "We are not from this world, our species comes from a planet called Cybertron. I am a Cybertronian associated with a group called the Autobot's and you are a Predacon, an ancient race of beastformers."
" And the ones with red eyes that attacked us, what were they ? " T-Rex said
" "They are known as Decepticons." Jack answered " our species are at war. Have been for a long time, you were created to be a weapon to use against us." He watched as their optics widened. "But I believe when your predecessor showed his sentience, the Decepticons decided to destroy you and the others. . . and they tricked us into doing it."
" So that's what the shaking and intense heat were. But why doing this ? " T-Rex asked
" The decepticon leader, Megatron, won't tolerate any rival. If your predecessor realized his strenght surpass Megatron's, the latter would fear to be usurped. So he took out what he saw as a problem before it was even born, securing the first's loyalty by directing his rage towards us. " Jack answered
The two predacons looked at each other.
" Do you believe they tell the truth ? " T-Rex asked
" I don't sense any treachery coming from them. Plus, do you want to go back to One-eye ? " Gorilla responded
But their discussion was interrupted by a roar. They all looked above and saw Predaking flying towards them. He landed and transformed.
" So the rumors were true. Predacons live again. Come my brethren, let us return to the ship to help Lord Megatron win this War. " he said
But T-Rex and Gorilla didn't move and turned towards the three others.
" You were indeed telling the truth. Your Megatron already corrupted him into his servant. " T-Rex said
" I am no one's servant. Lord Megatron is our ally against our race's killers. Join me as your king and we'll destroy these autobots. " Predaking retorted
" Why should we follow you and not them ? " Gorilla asked " We can choose our own path without anyone telling us what to do. "
" I wasn't asking. " Predaking said before turning towards Jack. " You, Jackson Darby Or is it Dracarys Prime ? I challenge you, one dragon to another. And only the strongest shall rule the predacons. "
T-Rex and Gorilla turned towards Jack who scowled.
" Challenge accepted. " He answered
June and Arcee backed off as the two rivals glared at each other.
Predaking changed into beast mode and roared. Jack stayed in robot mode, pounded on his torso then roared and they charged each other.
Jack managed to land the first punch on Predaking's head but the dragon got up and bited Jack's wrist. Dracarys made him let go but Predaking jumped on him, pushed him back against the cliff and bited him on the throat.
Jack managed to punch him in the torso and caught his jaws to free himself. He then tried to break Predaking's jaws but the latter resisted then Jack seized the dragon's face and slammed it into the cliff. He then tried to punch it but Predaking avoided it and tail slapped Jack, before biting Jack's wrist and slamming him on the ground.
The dragon then jumped on Dracarys but the latter punched him but he was headbutted by Predaking who then tried to breath fire on him but Jack redirected his mouth to look up then he punched him, separating the two.
Jack then uprooted a tree and rid it of its branchs before charging at Predaking who did likewise. Dracarys then swung the tree like a baseball bat, hitting Predaking in the jaws.
The dragon got up and jumped on Jack, clawing and biting until he managed to claw at his neck, unbalancing Dracarys and then he tail slapped Jack, sending him through several trees. But Jack got up, drew a chained blade and threw it towards Predaking, impaling him in the shoulder and sending him on the ground.
Jack pulled on the chain, bringing Predaking towards him and placed the chain around his throat to strangle him but Predaking moved too much and the two fell on the ground. Dracarys got up first and lifted Predaking above him and slammed him on the ground before picking him up by the tail and throwing him against the cliff.
Predaking got up and jumped towards Jack who punched him then took a blade and slitted Predaking's flank, but the dragon jumped away and breathed fire on Dracarys who responded by opening his chestplate and emitting blue fire from it. The two beams collided with each other before Jack managed to push his towards Predaking, striking the dragon and sending him on the ground.
Jack then ran towards Predaking, drew his blade and impaled his enemy in the head, killing him on the spot.
At this moment, the other predacons got out of the cave and saw what happened. They surrounded Dracarys and observed him. The pteranodon then defiantely yelled at Jack who simply glared at it before it bowed as low as it could. It was followed by the ant, the scorpion, the spider, the crab, the rat, the wolf, the cheetah, the hawk, the Tiger, the raptor and the rhino. T-Rex and Gorilla simply nodded at him before Arcee took her place at his side.
The two lovers then changed into beast mode got up on their hind legs and roared in victory.
