Phew! Almost at the finish line, aren't we? I should note that this is the closest I've ever come to completing a multi-chapter story. It's been a long road since 2016 of me uploading and eventually deleting my stories, but here we are.

The camera opens up on Chris McLean, standing on the docks of Camp Wawanawkwa. Behind him, we can see Beth and Sadie trading makeup techniques while sitting on wooden lawn chairs. Their moment is interrupted however, when Courtney bursts out of the mess hall, vomiting on the ground.

"Welcome back to Total Drama Island!", announced Chris. "Today, we'll be trying something a little different."

As Chris walks across the dock, we can see Harold running for his life from a grizzly bear out of the communal bathrooms.

"Over the past summer, we've seen fifteen campers take the dock of shame and the boat of losers off of TDI for good, leaving only seven campers behind."

Again, behind Chris, we see Harold running from the grizzly bear, this time with Geoff as well.

"But what happened to these failed campers after the boat of losers? Where are they now, and what have they been doing all this time?", questioned Chris as he continued to walk along the dock.

Eventually, he came to Noah, sitting on the edge of the dock and reading. Tyler walked up, wearing his swimsuit, preparing to dive into the lake.

Just as Tyler jumped into the air, a shark leaped up, swallowing him whole. Noah looked at this with a shocked expression. Chris, however, was unperturbed.

"Find out about these loser campers, right here, right now, on Total Drama Island!"

Yep, that's right, we're doing the 'After the Dock of Shame' episode now!

For those of you who haven't read 'Total Shuffled Island' by Fangren, I'll give you the skinny on my reasoning.

Since Owen was eliminated in the very first challenge, there was no way we could do the 'Mr. Coconut' elimination in 'Camp Castaways'. So, I needed to bring in another character in 'No Pain, No Game' to round out the cast size for the merge.

However, this presented a problem in regard to 'Trial by Tri-Armed Triathlon', as that challenge requires six campers. Thus, we bump the Playa des Losers episode down.

Now, that we've got all that out of the way, let's continue...

The camera has now moved to a show a particularly luxurious resort facility on a pristine beachfront. The woods behind the resort look similar to the woods found on Camp Wawanawkwa, but the contrast between the dirty forest and the immaculate resort couldn't be clearer.

A boat speeds up to the single dock jutting out over the beach and shallows, depositing Chris McLean onto it.

"Welcome to 'Playa des Losers'!", announces Chris, raising his hands to emphasize the resort.

"As hard as it may be to believe, we're actually still on Wawanawkwa Island, just further along the coastline.", said Chris. "This fully operational resort facility, complete with spa, 24/7 buffet, and pool, is where the eliminated contestants all hang out until the end of the competition."

The camera zooms into the resort, eventually reaching a diving board overlooking said pool Chris mentioned. A figure is seen climbing up to the board; once it reaches the top, it is revealed to be Justin.

Justin walks to the edge of the board, and dives in an impeccable manner into the water down below. Near where he splashed into the water, a large, wooden cabana was set up inside the pool. Heather, Trent, and Bridgette were each sitting on one of the high stools set up around the cabana, sipping on drinks with curly straws and little umbrellas.

Heather had her focus entirely on a magazine she was reading, while Trent had a decidedly pessimistic look to his face as he watched Justin resurface from the water.

Bridgette looked to be the only one of the three to be happy to be here, and she gave a big smile to the camera. "Hey, you guys.", she said to the camera. "Chris told us he'd be filming us dish out what we feel about being here and who we want to win the contest."

"I for one want no one to win this stupid show.", said Heather, shortly, finally putting down her magazine. "All I want to see is that entire crappy camp to go up in flames and Noah to get absolutely humiliated on live TV."

Bridgette, Trent, and Justin (who had swum over there at this point) all looked as if they had heard this a thousand times before. "I agree with you about that filthy camp.", said Justin. "But I'm not sure about seeing Noah go through that. As much as the kid needs to learn about proper fashion sense, he did outplay you fair and square."

Bridgette and Trent murmured in agreement, as Heather scowled. "I admit, I do admire the little brat for how he got me eliminated.", said Heather. "But that doesn't mean I don't want payback. If I had to choose someone to root for, however, I guess it would be Noah..."

Heather, looking none too pleased with her admission, went back behind her magazine. The camera panned over to Bridgette, who said, "I guess I was little disappointed to be voted out so soon, but I did make one good friend during the experience."

"You're talking about Geoff, right?", said Trent, still with that pessimistic look on his face.

"Yeah, I still have the card with his number on it. I was hoping that when he..."

"Summer romances are pointless.", scoffed Trent. "It'll only end in complete heartbreak."

Bridgette cringed, then said to the camera, "Trent's still a little bit... salty about Gwen voting him off with Noah. Anyway, as if you couldn't tell, I'm gunning for Geoff to win this show."

"Well, if I absolutely have to choose between the campers, I think I'll choose...", said Trent, scratching his chin. "Courtney."

"Courtney? Why?", asked Bridgette.

"Eh, I might not like her personally, but she's worked hard to earn her win, even teaming up with her worst enemy, Eva. Even being voted off once didn't stop her.", explained Trent.

"I agree with Trent; I want her to win as well.", said Justin. "Though, less having to do with her having the drive to win, and more because she's the only attractive player left on the show."

The camera cut to under the pool water, where something was gliding to Justin's feet. As the Jaws-esque theme in the background reached a crescendo, Justin yelped from the surface.

"Ah, something just bit my leg!", he yelled, just as Izzy popped up from underwater. "Hey, guys! How's it going?"

"Are you happy now?", said Justin, angrily. "Now I have to go apply skin makeup to my shin." He then swam away.

The camera zoomed in on Izzy. "Oh, what? It's my turn already?", said Izzy. "OK, well, I'd like Geoff to win the money. Not because I'm actually friends or have even talked with him; no, no. It's because he's probably the only person who's just as crazy as me, even if he likes parties more than me. Yeah, the last time I was at a party, I got so excited from all the soda I drank, that I hit the host in the nose. It bled on and off for a week, but he was fine in the end. Didn't talk much to me after that, though."

The other three former campers stared in amazement at Izzy. "OK...", said Bridgette slowly. "Well, I guess that's what we think about the seven remaining campers."

An angry sniff from Trent caught her attention, as she saw him refusing to look at a nearby Gwen.

"Uh, hi, Trent...", said Gwen, hesitantly. Trent, however, still refused to look at her.

Gwen sighed and moved off. She eventually came to the buffet set up on the patio, where Eva was grilling steaks on a large grill. Gwen noticed the camera had followed her, and said, "Oh, I don't know who I want to win. I do know that I'd rather be back at that trashy camp then here at this resort. I know that sounds crazy, but Trent has been blanking me since day one that I've been here."

"I guess if I had to choose... It's difficult; Noah's a sneak, Courtney's too pushy, and Geoff, Harold, and Tyler annoy me. The only true friends I have still in the competition is Beth and Sadie, but they don't have much in common with me. I guess I choose... Beth, she seems the sincerest out of the whole cast."

"I just wish Trent would lighten up on..."

"Excuse me.", said Eva, shortly. "Do you mind baring your soul somewhere else? I'm trying to grill my steak."

Gwen glared at her, until Leshawna walked up, putting a hand on the former's pale shoulder. "Forget her, girl. She's just angry she got kicked out last episode."

The two walked away, leaving Eva to glare at the camera. "Did I want to get eliminated so close to the cash prize? No. Do I want to be here, instead of home? No! I'd rather put this stupid contest behind me. Do I want anyone on this cruddy show to win? Heck, no, I hope the whole show gets cancelled, so nobody gets anything!"

A wail of pain and anguish soundly appeared from offscreen. "Oh, not again! Every morning this happens!" The wail continued as Cody walked onto the screen.

"Oh, that's just Katie.", said Cody to the camera, jerking his thumb off screen. "She's mainly been crying non-stop since she got here way back when."

"I'm going to kill her this time!", said Eva, stalking off.

Cody cringed, then turned back to the camera. "Who do I want to win? I'd say Noah; I know me and him have had our ups and downs over this show, but he really proved himself as a loyal friend in the dirt bike contest. I hope he finally gets to win something."

Cut to three lawn chairs set up on the patio. DJ, Duncan, and Owen are sitting on the chairs; DJ was petting his pet bunny, Duncan was listening to heavy metal music through his earphones, and Owen was messily devouring a bag of chips.

"Wow, Katie must be really missing Sadie today.", said DJ, listening to the crying coming from inside the resort.

"Yeah, I know.", said Owen, through a mouthful of chips. He swallowed, then noticed the camera. "Oh, hey guys. Long time, no see, am I right. If I'd known this resort was so great, I wouldn't have been so bummed about being voted off first."

"Anyway, I should probably say who I want to win. I should pick someone from my own team, but I think I'm going to pick Geoff. That guy knows how to party!"

"Oh, for real, dog?", said DJ. "That's my pick, too. Yeah, me and Geoff became pretty tight during the show, so I thought I owed him that."

"All right!", said Owen, high-fiving DJ over Duncan.

Owen proceeded to turn his attention to Duncan. "So, who do you want to win, Duncan? Duncan?" Duncan however was too engrossed in his music.

Owen then grabbed the earphones, ripped them off, and yelled directly in Duncan's ear. "Hey, Duncan!"

Cut to Owen with the bag of chips he was holding stuffed into his mouth. Duncan, who was glaring at Owen, turned his attention to the camera. "Who do I want to win? Geoff."

A pause followed, then DJ said, "Bro, is that it? Don't you have more to say?"

"No.", said Duncan, putting his earphones back on and smirking.

DJ and Owen both shrugged at each other.

Meanwhile, Katie, who at this point had finally stopped crying, walked out of the resort, sniffling. She had huge bags over her eyes and her face was red from all the tears she had spent.

Lindsay and Ezekiel walked up to her, both looking sympathetic. "Hey, Katie.", said Ezekiel, nervously. "Are you doing OK today, eh?"

"Yeah, are you still missing Sally an awful lot?", said Lindsay, as clueless as ever. Ezekiel cringed, as Katie scowled, tears streaking once again across her face.

"No, I do not. She's doing so well without me and her new friend, Beth; why shouldn't I?" Katie then burst into tears once again, running away.

"Smooth, eh, Lindsay?", said Ezekiel, hotly.

"I know, right, I tried a new moisturizer today.", said Lindsay, rubbing her arms.

Ezekiel slapped his hand to his forehead, then looked to the camera. "Of course, I'm going to root for Sadie to win, eh? We're practically dating at this point. Wow, I never thought I'd actually date anyone... like, ever."

"And I'm rooting for my own crush to win.", said Lindsay. "Now, what was his name again? Taylor? Tyson? Trent?"

Trent, who was walking by, scowled at her. "You mean, Tyler? I'm Trent... idiot."

"Oh, that's right!", said Lindsay.

Cut to Leshawna and Gwen, now in a hot tub. They both breathed out in absolute ecstasy, as the bubbles frothed in the tub.

"This is the life.", said Gwen, sighing. "Almost makes me forget about Trent."

"You said it, girlfriend.", said Leshawna. "Much better than what we could afford in my neighborhood."

The camera zoomed into Leshawna, who finally took notice of it. "So, I was a little shocked that I was eliminated so early. I mean, I thought I had it in me to go the whole mile and win that 100 grand. Let's just say that Heather and Noah better not meet me in a dark alley."

"If I had to choose one person that I want to win that 100K, it would be... Tyler."

Gwen laughed. "Really? Tyler?"

"Dude's come a long way.", said Leshawna. "I think he deserves it."

"OK.", said Gwen, still smiling and uncertain.

Cut to later that night, where all the former campers were assembled around the side of the pool. "Hey, so why did the cameramen tell us to come here?", asked Owen. Everyone shrugged or muttered that they didn't know.

Suddenly, a purple cloud identical to the one Izzy used to leave the island appeared. When the cloud dissipated, Chris McLean was standing before them.

"Oh, it's just you.", said Duncan.

"Yes, it's just little old me.", said Chris. "I'm here with a special announcement. Tonight, all fifteen of you will be voting who joins you here at Playa des Losers tonight."

The former campers all gasped in surprise.

"So, who wants to go...", began Chris.

"I vote for Sadie.", said Katie, indignantly.

"What!?", said Ezekiel, just as Chris said, "One vote for Sadie."

"Katie, how could you? Sadie is supposed to be your best friend in the whole world!", said Ezekiel, angrily. "Remember what I told you and Sadie in the camping challenge; that I admired that you two were really strong friends. Why can't you just be happy that Sadie is developing into her own person, instead of just each other's clone."

Katie looked shocked. "I... I don't know what I was thinking. I was just so jealous of Sadie having newer friends, that I... I..."

She then began bawling again.

"Hate to be the bearer of bad news here.", said Chris, smiling nonetheless. "But each time you say Sadie, it counts as a vote. So... that's four votes for Sadie, three from Ezekiel and one from Katie."

"What? How is that fair?", said Bridgette, indignantly.

Katie bawled even harder.

"Ugh, if it gets her to finally shut up with the crying every day, I'll vote Sadie as well.", said Eva.

"I second that.", said Justin. "I vote Sadie."

"Sadie.", said Duncan.

Pretty soon, the camera cut to Chef pushing a shocked Sadie across the dock and into the boat of losers.

Quick cut to Sadie standing on the Playa des Losers, with Chris standing before her. Behind him, Katie and Ezekiel were smiling, embarrased and apologetic.

"Six campers remain. We're nearly at our top five campers! Tune in next week to see who's going home next on Total! Drama! Island!", announced Chris.

Campers: Beth, Geoff, Tyler, Harold, Noah, and Courtney

I made this chapter super short as I felt I needed a lighter writing experience than some of the longer, challenge focused chapters. Remember to review!
