Not exactly my best work, but hopefully decent enough.

Don't worry, there is a Pearlshipping side chapter planned for later!

FYI this side chapter is Pikabun.

Disclaimer: I don't own Pokémon.

Pikachu POV:

"Yeah, Pikachu and I have things to do" Bun-bun said as she grabbed my paw in hers. She started pulling me away from Oshawott and Piplup.

"What are you-Buneary? Where are we going?" I asked. She didn't answer, instead leading us away from everyone else and into the trees.

Once we were out of sight of everyone, she released my paw and turned to face me. I instantly gulped and a shiver ran down my spine; she was glaring angrily at me. She only looked like this when she was really ticked off.

Happy Buneary was delightful. Angry Buneary was terrifying.

"What's your problem?!" she asked with restrained anger in her voice. Anger that I didn't understand.

"Wh-what do you mean?" I squeaked out. Her eyes narrowed, and I gulped nervously. Boy could she be intimidating.

"I saw how you reacted to them kissing. You obviously don't like it. Are you some sort of homophobe?" she demanded. I felt my fur stand up; so that's why she was mad as heck. But she had it all wrong!

"Nonono, I have no problem with them both being boys!" I exclaimed, waving my paws in front of my face. "It caught me off-guard, that's all." She tilted her head as her angry face faded.

"So, you're fine with them?" she asked in a calmer tone. I smiled and nodded.

"If they're happy, that's all that matters" I confirmed. She let out a long breath.

"That's a relief" she said. "I thought I might have to beat some sense into you." I let out a sigh of relief. I did NOT want to get kicked by her again. Those really hurt, after all!

"But what about this Emolga?" she asked, placing her paws on her hips. "Why is she a concern?" I sighed sadly, looking down as my ears fell.

"Emolga is a homophobe. She's so convinced that only boys and girls should be together that she freaks out and attacks anyone who appears not to be straight." I looked up and saw Bun-bun looking both concerned and curious, and I continued. "Shortly after Emolga joined Iris and was introducing herself, Snivy, who's also a girl, told her she looked nice. Emolga thought Snivy was flirting with her and freaked out, screaming and attacking her. She still does, too." I sighed. "It's like she takes it personally, and none of us know why."

"Do you think she'll attack Piplup and Oshawott?" Bun-bun asked. I nodded grimly.

"I'm sure she will" I confirmed. "And she has a type advantage over them with her electric attacks." I sighed sadly. "Well, I guess we'll figure out what to do when it happens." I paused. "Anyways, I need ask you a serious question."

"What's up, Peeks?" she asked. I braced myself. Honestly, I wasn't sure I wanted to know the answer.

"Um, are you pregnant?" I asked feebly. Bun-bun looked blankly at me.

"Huh?" she asked.

"Piplup said you were in heat" I elaborated. To my surprise, Bun-bun started laughing hysterically.

"Like he would know" she laughed. "Not after what he did, anyway."

"What did he do?" I asked, curious.

"About a week after we went our different ways, I went into heat. Piplup must have sensed it and tried to make a move on me."

I growled. How dare he try to hit on my girl! Bun-bun must have sensed this, as she placed a paw on my shoulder and calmed herself.

"It's okay, Peeky" she reassured. "He didn't know about us at the time." She snorted as she began laughing again. "Besides, you should've seen the kick I gave him right between his legs; he couldn't walk straight for a week!" She was laughing hysterically now. "He doesn't recognize when I'm actually in heat anymore." She smiled. "You know I wouldn't let an egg happen right now. Neither of us is ready to have a baby." I smiled back as relief flooded my system.

"No, we aren't" I confirmed.

"But speaking of making babies," she began with a smug grin, "you lost our little bet. You know what that means."

"Oh come on, you didn't win!" I retorted, crossing my arms.

"Do you really care who won?" she asked teasingly.

"I like winning!" I declared, uncrossing my arms and pointing at her. "You know that!"

"You're just like your trainer" she snickered. "Fine, pick any two Pokémon here that you think won't get together within a week. That way you can win, silly Pichu."

"That's an easy one; I choose Emolga and Snivy. It'll never happen" I said. "But what do I get when I win?"

"Besides your pride?" she snickered. "Well, I got an outfit I was going to wear for you the next time we met. Let's say the loser wears it, since you're going to win."

"Deal" I confirmed. "So tell me, what is this outfit you have?" Bun-bun blushed and whispered into my ear. I instantly felt my face heat up.

I couldn't wait to win this bet.
