Happy Valentines Day everyone!

Disclaimer: I don't own Pokémon.

Piplup POV:

It was infuriating that, even after several minutes of walking, my face had not cooled down at all.

"Stupid, horny rabbit" I muttered to myself. Buneary had always had a lewd side to her, especially when it came to her comments about Pikachu. I would never have guessed they were true, though. I shivered as unwanted images of their amorous activities flashed through my mind.

"Wait up!" I heard Oshawott yell. I turned to see him running towards me, quickly catching up. I stopped under a large tree for him, curious why he was coming.

"Hey, I didn't mean to upset you" he said as he panted from the exertion. I smiled; he cared about potentially upsetting me. How sweet of him.

"You didn't upset me" I reassured him. "I was just embarrassed. Buneary's sexual humor is what annoyed me." I sighed. "Arceus can she be crude. I swear she loves to embarrass me." Oshawott nodded.

"Yeah, Emolga's the same way" he said. I chuckled at this.

"I figured that out after her comment about leaves" I said. "But there's no way she's as bad as Buneary."

"I'm not so sure about that" he challenged. "Emolga has no shame. She brags about all the things she's done with boys, and she goes into extreme detail, too!"

"Buneary does the same, but it's always about Pikachu" I countered. "At least Emolga doesn't talk about someone you know!"

"Emolga talks about her sexual escapades even if Scraggy and Axew are nearby!" He stated. I grimaced; they seemed far too young to hear about that stuff!

"You win" I acknowledged, raising my flippers in defeat. "Buneary may be a big pervert, but she restrains herself around kids!" Oshawott chuckled, then his expression turned grim.

"You know, we still have to figure out what to do about Emolga" he stated with a frown. "I know I said I don't care if she attacks me, and I still don't. But her electric attacks are very dangerous to water-types like us. I'm sure at some point she'll attack you too, and I don't want to see you get hurt."

"I'm not afraid of her electricity" I stated. He looked surprised and I continued. "I know how to defend against it."

"How?" he asked, now looking puzzled. I grinned.

"I was recently taught how to redirect electric attacks" I told him. Now he looked shocked.

"Who taught you how to do that?" he asked.

"An Articuno" I said. I chuckled at the astonished look on his face. "She's actually very friendly and helpful. She's also extremely powerful." Visions of her taking out a Moltres and a Zapdos flashed in my mind.

"Wow, a friendly legendary" Oshawott said, awe in his voice. "Who would've thought." I nodded as I thought about her.

"It's weird, but it feels like I sort of know her" I told him. "I don't know why that would be, I've never met her before. But something about her feels familiar…" I shook my head, ridding myself of the thoughts. "Anyways, the point is I can protect myself from her attacks." I looked straight into his eyes. And of course, you. I'll always protect you, Oshie."

Oshie? I wasn't sure why I said that, I guess it just seemed right. Apparently, it had an effect on him, though, as he quickly pinned me against the tree. His mouth completely enveloped my beak, and I gasped in surprise at the bold move.

I squeaked as I felt something foreign touch my tongue. The thing was both rough and smooth, strong and slippery. Then I realized it was his tongue that was now playing with mine; we were making out!

Oh Arceus, I was not expecting this!

I let out a small moan as he intertwined our tongues before he began exploring the inside of my mouth. I yielded and let him do whatever he wanted. I realized my flippers were now around his neck, much like Buneary said she did with Pikachu.

Oh great, I was turning into a girl. Buneary would laugh her head off if she found out.

Eh, whatever, it was still worth it, even if Buneary found out. I lightly moaned again as his tongue pushed firmly against mine. Nothing was going to stop me from enjoying this. It just felt right, letting him lead like this.

After several amazing minutes, the need for oxygen became too great, and we parted, gasping for air.

"Wow" Oshawott sighed. "That was amazing."

"Yeah, it was" I dreamily sighed back. He pulled me next to him and wrapped his arms around me. I snuggled into his side, much like I had back in the cave on Onix Island. I let out a deep breath, I felt so relaxed, so happy, so peaceful.

"WHAT IN THE ABSOLUTE HECK WAS THAT?!" a furious voice shouted above us. Oshawott abruptly pulled away from me and started visibly shaking. I looked up and saw a furious-looking Emolga standing in the tree above.

I frowned at her horrible timing. Why did it have to be now that she discovered we were dating? So much for our peaceful moment.

"Were you just KISSING him, Oshawott?!" she yelled, extreme anger seeping through her voice. "What is wrong with you?!" Emolga's cheeks started sparking threateningly. "Have you forgot what I told you after you flirted with that male Purrloin? Only a boy and girl can be together! You know better!"

I felt no fear of Emolga, no matter how angry she looked. In fact, I was angry she made my boyfriend scared. Nobody messed with him!

"So what if we were kissing?" I questioned, drawing her attention away from my frightened boyfriend. "That's our business, not yours. Love is not wrong, regardless of genders." I saw Emolga grimace slightly before quickly glaring at me once again.

"It is my business when a Pokémon does something so wrong!" she angrily retorted. "It's always been that way, and always has to be!" Her expression grew even more angry, her cheeks sparking violently. "You should know better; there are no gay legendaries!"

I snorted; that stupid saying again. Actually, I did know better, thanks to a certain blue bird. "That's not true, there are gay legendaries." I stated. "And that saying is a twisted myth that only exists in Unova."

"That's a bunch of Trubbish, and everyone knows it!" she declared. "There's no way that's anything but a lie!"

"Why are you such a homophobe?" I questioned. Emolga's expression suddenly changed from angry to sad. I was taken aback at the sudden shift; it made no sense.

"That's the way it is" she muttered sadly. "And that's the way it has to be." I was confused, why was she so sad all of a sudden?

"Any Pokémon who isn't straight is punished severely." Articuno's words rang in my head from the first time we met. I looked at Emolga, who was now staring sadly at the ground. "You met someone who has gone through that."

It was her; she was the one Articuno mentioned.

"It was you" I uttered. "You're the gay Pokémon who was punished." I sighed sadly, seeing her in a new light. No wonder this was so personal to her.

Emolga looked absolutely livid now, probably because now her secret was out. Electricity began circling her entire body, crackling violently. I could tell she was about to launch an electric attack, and I flexed my flippers at my sides, preparing to try to redirect it.

Hopefully I could do it.

"I AM NOT GAY!" Emolga screamed with fury. She shot a powerful Discharge attack at me.

I immediately used Steel Wing to harden my wings, making sure to connect the two through my shoulders like Articuno taught me to. Then I pointed my hardened left flipper at the incoming attack and let the Discharge attack hit it. Sure enough, the electricity did no harm to me and instead stayed on my Steel Wing.

Something was wrong, though; the electricity wasn't exiting. It instead remained dancing around my metal flippers. I could feel my concentration slipping as the intense focus of maintaining a strong Steel Wing took a heavy toll on me.

I glanced off to the side and saw Oshawott watching me, his eyes sparkling with amazement. I felt a sudden surge of strength flow through me as I remembered what I was fighting for. With a mighty roar, I stepped forward and thrust my right flipper at the still-airborne Emolga. I felt the electricity fly off my flipper and head straight at her. I saw her eyes widen in shock as her own Discharge attack raced back at her.

A loud, violent explosion echoed as the attack struck Emolga, and a gray cloud of smoke cloaked the area. Emolga screamed in pain, much like the Moltres and Zapdos had done with Articuno. I saw her fall out of the smoke headfirst, and a loud thud echoed as she hit the ground.

I returned my flippers to my side as my Steel Wing ended. I remained standing in place, a confident smirk adorning my face.

"Don't mess with my otter."
