Author's notes: Sorry about the long delay for this chapter. I got a bit stressed out with some stuff that happened after I uploaded the previous chapter, which ended up killing my drive to keep working on this, and even when I did try to work on this chapter, I've had a hard time trying to figure out how to handle it.
blazenight01: While that is true, the bosses of the game fight very differently from the player, to the point where I'm convinced they don't even use Battle Cards, or might not even be able to, unlike Omega-Xis. Whichever it is, it doesn't really matter, considering that Luna doesn't even have her Transer right now.
Star Force Ark, Chapter 25: Wavering Determination
Inside the Comp Space, Luna approached the console at its depths, her expression showing a mixture of frustration and uncertainty. After a moment, she looked back at the Comp Space's Wave Roads, which appeared to be made of dirt roads and platforms made of either glass panes or giant leaves, with large plants and bushes sprawled around near the roads and platforms, and the "sky" was red with a dark purple vine-like pattern with the occasional pitcher plant attached to the vines with green flies flying into them over and over.
"Now what's that look for?", Ophiuca asked, "Isn't this what you wanted?"
Looking away from the Wave Road, Luna closed her eyes for a moment as a somber look came over her face. When she opened them again, she was in a black void in her human form, with Ophiuca behind her, but this didn't seem to surprise her.
"Is this... really what I wanted...?", Luna asked.
In response, Ophiuca gave a chuckle. "Of course it is.", she said, "I made a promise to fulfil your wish, after all." Hearing this, Luna gave a soft grunt as she brought her hand to her chest, clenching it into a fist. "Now, now, don't tell me you're starting to doubt yourself?", Ophiuca asked, catching Luna off guard.
"This... feels wrong...", Luna began, "I..."
"Well, we can't quite have that, now can we?", Ophiuca asked.
After a moment, the sound of a flute could be heard, to Luna's surprise. But before she could do anything, her eyes became dull and she began to tip over before appearing back in the Comp Space as Queen Ophiuca as the top half of her body fell over. After a moment, she began to rise back up with a smirk on her face.
Meanwhile, at the Comp Space's entrance, Geo pulsed into the Comp Space and began looking around, surprised by the Comp Space's appearance. "So this is the snake's Comp Space...", he began.
"I can sense Ophiuca deeper inside.", Omega-Xis said, catching Geo's attention, "She's likely at the console for this Comp Space, just like Taurus and Cygnus."
"Right...", Geo began, "Will I... really have to fight Luna...?"
"There's no other way.", Omega-Xis replied, "But she'll be fine. Remember, Taurus' and Cygnus' hosts were fine even after they were defeated."
"R-Right.", Geo said as he began to make his way forward.
"Hey!", a familiar voice called out from behind him. Turning around, Geo noticed as a Mr. Hertz approached him from behind.
"(That's one of those things I saw at the truck's Comp Space.)", Geo thought to himself.
"It's dangerous that way!", the Mr. Hertz said, "A dangerous wave came in here just a few moments ago! Beep"
"We know that.", Omega-Xis replied, surprising the Mr. Hertz, "We're here to stop it."
"R-Right.", Geo said.
"Is that so?", the Mr. Hertz asked, "In that case, you should take these. Beep" The Mr. Hertz then handed Geo a couple of HP Memories. "It may not be much, but it should help you out. Since the security system isn't installed yet, there shouldn't be any issues getting to where that dangerous wave went."
"R-Right, thanks.", Geo said. Taking a deep breath, Geo began to make his way along the Wave Road.
