The morning Sunday sun peeks through the horizon as it's glow covered the city slowly but surely. A certain point of interest brings us to a large mansion in which a certain orange fox is sleeping soundly.
However, Spam's peaceful slumber was disturbed as a small ray of the sun leaks through the curtains covering his window. The slight shine managed to reach his shut eyes, penetrating his closed eyelids.
He grumbles at the sudden flash while still half asleep. He smacks his mouth before he gains consciousness. His eyes slowly flickers open only to be raped by the blinding light.

After a while, he slowly slid off the white blanket covering him as he sat his body upwards. Seeing the state of the sun made him acknowledge the time.
He groans with a hint of annoyance as he immediately slams his body back down, making the bed creak a little. His sudden crash ignited a sound which alerted him. He instantly turns his face to his side to see a familiar purple cat sleeping right next to him.
It was Vanexa, sleeping soundly under the covers until the creak almost made her woke up from dreamland. Spam slowly covered himself again, this time trying not to wake her up. After he was done, he just stares at her. He admired her cute slumbering expression.

After a while, both of them separated before Vanexa invites her to sit with her.

"It's alright, I already have my strawberry shake with me... Not much of a fan for coffee!" Kayla tells as Vanexa was reminded.
"Oh yeah, now that I think about it..." Vanexa then remembers how Kayla once choked when she offered a caramel latte which leads her to wonder what kind of sick god cursed her best friend with coffee intolerance. Though the hatred might be because she was a coffee enthusiast all her life.
"Well, anyways, how's my birthday girl doing?" Kayla excitedly beams which made Vanexa embarrassed. She scratch her chin as a blush forms on her face. She then clears her throat before talking.
"I'm fine... though... I thought Jill was coming with you? Where is she?" Vanexa asks as Kayla expressed a clueless expression.
"She was... but... she disappeared when we walked pass a..." Kayla suddenly trails off as if she didn't want to finish the sentence.
"A...?" Vanexa asks curious as a cat as Kayla clears her throat.
Her friend suddenly closes her face making her way next to her ear.

"Aww, it's okay Vanexa, we planned this remember, you're not going to be 23 forever!! Plus, we can't just go shopping on your actual birthday, so I cleared my schedule for the month just for my precious cat!!!" Kayla commented as Jill nods her head.
"We're besties remember?" Kayla adds as she holds Vanexa's hand.
"Okay, let's not get too sentimental..." Jill suddenly jokes before taking a sip from a cup of coffee in front of her.
"Though, I'm actually curious about our best selling author here!!" Jill mentions as Vanexa couldn't help but blush.

"And you Jill, hell's chief of defense and external affairs!! Stops hundreds of illegal trafficking across hell and Safe Haven!!" Kayla points out which made Jill grumble.
"I got a lot of paperwork cause of it... damn those mafia members!!" Jill grumbles while looking annoyed as she remembers the piles of nightmare that used to sat on her desk.

"Thanks guys, this means a lot!!" Vanexa smiles at them before Kayla tries to shift the topic.
"Anyways, I'm dying to know your secret Vanexa!!" Kayla says to her as she slowly sips on her straw.
"Secret?" Vanexa looks at the kangaroo with a perplexed look.
"Yeah!! Secret on how you're able to write bangers each time!!" Kayla says before Jill intervenes.
"Actually, I'm quite curious as well... people sometimes get bored with the usual romance cliches but yours were unique..." Jill adds as Vanexa tries to come up with an answer. Even she was unsure of it herself. Suddenly, she remembers about a certain fox... a past crush... and... maybe still is.
"Maybe... it's like a projection of my dreams and hope... "But Kayla, I guess you're still busy with your tour right?" She tries to shift the conversation but unluckily for her, it didn't work.
"Is this about Spam?" Kayla ask again which made Vanexa freeze. Her face replied with a look of regret and horror. But a warm feeling engulfed her when she sees Kayla embracing her and Jill giving her a shoulder to lie on.
"It's okay Vanexa... It's okay..." Kayla comforts her as Vanexa couldn't help but feel grateful for her friends.
After a while,

"Yeah, I always thought that he liked you as well!! Why don't you go for it? It wouldn't hurt to try!!" Jill suggests but Vanexa shook her head.
"It's been a while and I don't know if he feels the same anymore..." Vanexa tells them.
"Come on V, it's a great opportunity for you to tell him! He's still single... so don't miss out!!" Jill says back.
Suddenly, Vanexa could feel Kayla moving closer towards her.
"Vanexa, when... me and Zill... decided to... part ways... it was relieving when you comforted me... You were there when I was wasted and a big mess, you lent your ear when I decided to let out all my frustrations and regrets... I would be wasting away if it wasn't for you!"
Suddenly, Jill moves towards her as well.
"And me... when I couldn't make the choice between a pointless love and my long life dream, you helped me recognize what I truly wanted... I wouldn't have been who I am now if you weren't there for me!"
Vanexa couldn't help but tear up at her friends. She felt grateful at their words of encouragement as she steels herself.
"Y-you're right!! I'll do it!!"
She spoke valiantly as she knew what she had to do now. Though, she was still clueless on where to start.
"But... what do I do? How do I tell him?" Vanexa asks her friend as both of them starts thinking of ideas. Suddenly, both of them realised that Jill was grinning from ear to ear.
She suddenly reaches for something before slamming a bag filled with familiar and eccentric contents she got from a shop earlier which made Kayla and Vanexa instantly blush.
"Well, easy! You just have to be 'wild' and 'experimental' !" Jill mischievously grins as Vanexa couldn't help but gulp.
Saturday,
Spam was excitedly driving somewhere with his usual smile plastered on his face. He then looks at the rear view mirror as a box filled a bunch of tools is present on the backseat of his car. He couldn't wait to arrive at his destination.

"Umm, I'm doing alright... I work at Wolfswagen now!! Chief engineer and such..." Spam says.
"I know..." Vanexa says which caught him off guard.
"Y-you do?" Spam asks her back.
"Of course!! I always keep track of what my friends are doing!!" Vanexa replies which made him a bit happy.
"That's kinda nice!!" He comments.
"And what about the bumblebees, how are they?" Vanexa teases him which made him chuckle.
"Harr-harr!! Glad to know you're doing fine all this time!! You know what, actually, I still have a copy of your first book on me right now! The first rendition that you never published, the one you gave me for my birthday last time!!" Spam reminds before hearing a groan of embarrassment from her.

"You mean the part that the couple rode off into the sunset on a motorcycle like some cheesy 80's romcom?"
"More like 90's to be honest!" Spam jokes followed with her laughter.
They went silent after that until Vanexa breaks it.
"Anyway, you're an engineer right?" She iterates which made him curious.
"Yeah?" He answers unsure.
"I'm currently moving to a bigger house and I think the TV's broken. I tried to call the cable company but the they said they got their hands tied at the moment so they won't be able to send anyone for a while!!" She explains as he listens intently.
"Actually, I was wondering if you might be able to help me instead! Of course you won't be doing it for free!! So... could you please help me, I'll promise I'll make it... worth your while..." She secretly swoons at the last part which confused him but he didn't read into it to much.
After a short while, he gave a definite answer.
"Sure!!"
"Splendid, umm you can call me when you get here! I'll give you a personal tour around my house!!" Vanexa offers.

"In a while... crocodile..." He slowly mutters before crashing his back on the bench. A slow sigh escapes his lips as he looks at the branches above him.
Back to Spam driving,
He suddenly arrives in front of the gate to a huge house. As he arrives, he couldn't help but duck his head a bit as he peeks through his car window. He was amazed at the sheer size of it and the fact it belonged to a singular person. He was also a bit worried at the fact that the extra space would be for someone other than him.

As he parks, he then exits the vehicle before suddenly being jumped by her.

He opens and searches the drawers but after a while, he still couldn't find it.
