SFW STORY ( FOR EVERYONE )

Inside the school theatre, we can see our main protagonists having a blast with their music performance. However, our hero for today is our unlucky jackal, Jack as he was playing the drums furiously. His hands held the drumsticks as he rhythmly bangs them onto the plastic surface of the drums, creating a series of beats to go with the rest of the song.

However, his beats suddenly when haywire which panics him a bit. His hands fumble to get back on the right beat as his palms starts sweating. He wished the others wouldn't notice his obvious mistake but one bad thing leads to another. His sweaty palms made him slowly lose his grip. He tries to grasp onto the sticks further but it only made his slow down.

Suddenly, one of the sticks slips from his hands as it landed on the ground below.

"Stop..." Jackie suddenly voices out as the rest of them followed her orders.

She hops on stage before going towards Jack. She bends down, retrieving his fallen stick before handing it back to him with a bright smile.

"Thanks Jackie..." Jack thanks her with embarrassment filling his cheeks. He rubs his head as he looks down in shame.

"It's okay Jack, you did great today!" Jackie reassures him but he chuckles in disbelief.

"You mean even after the stick fell for the 24th time, today?" He dryly jokes with a hint of disappointment towards himself but Jackie still maintains her usual smile.

She then looks at the rest of her students before voicing out loudly.

"Guys, we'll take a break for today!! You guys were excellent!!! I'm really proud!! So, we'll just have to keep up with the momentum and first prize might just be ours!! We'll practice again on Monday alright!!" Jackie says as the rest cheer in unison.

"ALRIGHT JACKIE!!!"

Only Jack remained silent as he looks as his bandaged covered hands. It was all wet due from his sweat as he just sighs inwardly. A hand suddenly landed on his shoulder as he looks up to see Jackie with a concerned look.

"You're okay there Jack?" Jackie asks him as he answers with a fast nod.

"I'm fine, it's just... I can't get my head straight..." Jack answers as Jackie tried to say something but Zill, his best friends, got to it first.

"Why? You're still hung up about earlier? I told ya, let, it, go... It's not your fault, remember!!" Zill tells him as Jack turns his face at him.

"I, I know but still... didn't you see her face earlier? Maybe what I did was too harsh..." Jack says as Zill goes to his friend.

"Look dude, maybe you're right... but... she had it coming for a while now! Come on, she's been bothering Kayla since day one and you stood up against her!! If anything, she's the one at fault, not you!" Zill tries to convince him.

"He's right Jack!" Kayla suddenly enters the conversation as she walks slowly towards Jack.

"You did the right thing..." Kayla softly spoke as Jack just looks down.

"Umm, what thing? Mind telling me the juice?" Jackie beams as she was curious at what they meant.

Zill looks at Kayla before turning back to Jackie.

"You see the thing is..."

Jack was walking alongside his highschool friends, the usual gang, Zill with his arms wrapped around the hopping Kayla who was looking through some music sheets, Vanexa walking with her eyes glued to her book and Spam who was busy looking here and there, happily getting distracted.

Jack thought the day had gone quiet well for him. The morning's been peaceful, he woke up right on time and didn't miss the bus, no stray rabid dog chasing him alongside the sidewalk, Rusty no where in sight, all in all, it seemed like it was going to be a rather peaceful day or so he thought.

"Bye Zill, I'm going to see Mr. Zechariah for our club discussion... see you at practice later!!" Kayla says but before she leaves Zill suddenly hugs her.

"No good bye kissies for me?" Zill swoons as Kayla laughs.

"No, stop it!!" She giggles as she pushes Zill's face away slowly.

"I have to get going! Maybe later, if you be a good boy~!" Kayla says as she waves her hands. She then slowly hops away from the rest of them as Zill couldn't help feel disappointed.

"It's okay bud, you'll get your goodbye kissies later!" Jack teases while simultaneously consoling his forlorn friend.

"Well, honestly, I don't know why you guys-

"STOP IT!!!"

All of them simultaneously looks forward as they instantly recognise their friend's voice in peril.

They immediately rush to see Kayla confronting a familiar but unwelcomed figure.

It was Baltimore Starlena... She was wearing her usual black and white striped dress with an orange sweater. She was famous among the E District students, even here or to say more accurately 'infamous'. The reason she was infamous is because, she's known to be a selfish and cruel person, and the reason for our group to scorn her even more is because she frequently bothers Kayla.

Kayla had her hands extended upwards as she tries to grab what was seen to be a bunch of music sheets.

"Give them back Baltimore!!!" Kayla yells as she tries to reach for the sheets but Starlena just mocks and laughs at her.

"Why, a kangaroo from the boonies can't hop high enough to reach them?" She laughs wickedly as her hands continues to swish and evade Kayla's grasps.

"I don't have time for this Baltimore!! Just give them back!!" Kayla scorns at her as Baltimore carves a mischievous grin.

"You want them so badly... HERE! TAKE IT!!" She suddenly shoves the paper towards Kayla's chest with full force causing her to be thrown back. The sheets of paper slowly flew in the air as Kayla was falling backwards.

As Kayla was about to crash onto the hard floor, suddenly, a pair of hands managed to capture her and broke her fall.

She looks up to see Zill with a concerned look.

"You're okay, Kay?" Zill asks her as she slowly nods. Zill breathes a sigh of relief before shooting towards Baltimore with scorn.

"What's your problem, you bitch!!" Zill yells at her but she just laughs taking muse in the circumstances.

"My my, if it isn't that freak of nature boyfriend of yours... You two deserve each other!!" She giggles as Zill grunts as he bares his fangs.

"Hey, Baltimore!!!"

Suddenly, a voice yells at her as Zill could see Jack passing them.

"Haven't you had enou-

He was about to finish his sentence when he hears the sound of something heavy on his side. Suddenly, four sets of lockers from his left came crashing down. Jack's eyes went wide as shadow engulfed him as he had no where to run.

"Oh boy!" It was the only thing Jack could mutter as the lockers smashes him down to the ground. A large bang sound was made followed with a cloud of dust spreading and pieces of broken floor flying.

"JACK!!!" Zill yells out in concern as he immediately puts Kayla down before flying towards the fallen lockers. His fingers grab the side as he uses his monstrous strength to lift up the lockers. Metal creaking sound was emitted as the lockers get lifted up.

As he lifted it halfway, he could see Jack with his face planted deep into the floor with cracks carving the frame of his fall.

Zill then lifts them up completely before lining them back against the wall. He then rushes towards his fallen friend before lifting him up. Jack who was still in pain, whince as he slowly gets up with Zill's assistance. His broken and bloodied up face could be seen healing at record speed.

But amidst all the chaos and people's murmurs of concern, a series of loud laughter can be heard coming from in front of them. Zill and Jack looks in front to see Baltimore cackling at Jack's pain before rubbing her eyes.

"You seriously thought you could stand up to me, you poor mutt... you can't even stand up yourself!!" She smiles back at them as Zill was annoyed but Jack spoke out first. It would had been a peaceful day if it wasn't for her. So, an extremely high level of annoyance was creeping up at Jack.

"At least I have a friend to help me back up!But, you wouldn't know what's that like, do you Starlena!!!" Jack roars back as the crowd went silent at his statement. Even Zill, was surprised at Jack's outburst since he's usually a chill person.

"Oh you sad, sad creature, maybe you might've hurt your eyes when you fell, but unlike you, I have lots of friends!" Baltimore smacks her lip in disbelief and confusion from what Jack said while still maintaining her smile.

"No you don't Baltimore!! Stop deluding yourself in that fantasy of yours!! You don't have friends and you never wil cause nobody likes you! Nobody!!!" Jack roars back as Baltimore could be seen getting a bit annoyed.

"W-well, how would you know? You're obviously pulling things out of your ass!!"

"Because it's fucking obvious! You're a selfish, cruel, inhumane skank with some half assed talent to match and just a pretty face to show for it!!"

The crowd of students surrounding them started murmuring at Jack's roast. Baltimore who couldn't stand the jeering couldn't maintain her composure.

"Tchh, what if I'm selfish or cruel? People know at least I'm better than that talentless... wench!!" Baltimore wildly points at Kayla.

"Don't kid yourself Starlena, at least that 'talentless' girl have people around her who genuinely enjoys spending time with her, you can't even compare yourself to Kayla because unlike her, you're just a monster whom nobody wants to even be around, whose mommy and daddy gives out weekly allowance and a butler so they don't have to see and deal with their shitstain of a daughter for the rest of their lives ever again! So why don't you just run off and disappear!! No one will ever miss you anyway!!" Jack bursts out as his loud voice suddenly ends up with a silent atmosphere. The crowd stood silent, as they only stared at the glaring Jack and the frozen avian.

Jack was bearing his fangs at her as he looks into her eyes with anger. Suddenly, his face softens up when he sees a clear liquid dripping down her face and onto the floor. Her fists clenched and was heavily trembling as she looks down to hide her face. Jack could see tears dropping down to a splat on her shoes. He could hear her silence mumbles of grief. Suddenly, she turns away quickly before running off. The clacks of her heels combined with soft sobs could be heard as she left the crowd.

Jack was panting and a look of shock was present on his face. He then turns to his side to see Zill with a similar look. He opens his mouth to let a single word out.

"Woah!" Jackie comments amazed as she turns to Jack.

"That's exactly what I said!" Zill adds but it didn't help Jack one bit. Jackie turns to Jack and noticed how uneasy he was about the story.

"Well, you... did the right thing... harsh... but right..." Jackie says as Jack shakes his head.

"I'll be fine, maybe I'm just worked up... yeah... I'll be fine tomorrow..." Jack says as Jackie felt relieved. He then looks up to see the bright light, blinding his eyes.

"Why did I say tomorrow?" Jack sighs inwardly as he was staring up at the ceiling of his house.

A day has already passed and it's now Saturday. Jack was tired and holed himself in his house. He didn't know why but he had no mood to go outside today so he just lazily laid on his couch. He didn't even had the mood to practice the drums.

"Don't groan, you're too young to start groaning and idly staring at the ceiling!!" A female voice suddenly nags him. It was an all too familiar voice of his mom, Mindy Wells. His mom who had been taking care of him since birth.

"Sorry mom, I can't help it... since yesterday, I had these feelings..." Jack explains as his mom looks at him with confused eyes.

"Feelings? What feelings?" She asks him as she was vacuuming the carpet besides the couch.

"I don't know... I just can't wrap my head around it... It's like the feeling like I did something wrong... but I knew I did the right thing... I thought I solved everything, but now, I'm not so sure anymore..." Jack tries to gather his thoughts and explains it.

Suddenly, he could see his mom's face above him. She was resting her hands on the backboard of the couch, staring down at him.

"That my son, is called 'guilt'! " Mindy states before lifting her face off amd continuing her chores.

"G-guilt?" He replayed the answer as he was unsure.

"B-but I didn't do anything wrong, in fact, I did the right thing... so it can't be guilt... can it?" He gazes at his mother with an unsure look as she starts chuckling.

"Oh Jackson, sometimes, doing the right thing... isn't always the right thing... Umm, how can I explain it..." His mom stops as she starts thinking. Suddenly, she gave up as she looks back at her son.

"Well, what are you feeling guilty about first and foremost?" His mom asks him but Jack was reluctant to answer.

"I don't want to talk about it..." Jack slowly mutters. Suddenly, he could feel his mom sitting down on the far side of the couch. She was looking at him with an altruistic look, she genuinely wants to help him.

He sighs before sitting straight up. He then looks at his mother before explaining.

"Alright, the thing is... there's this girl yesterday..." Jack explains as his mom's eyes went wide.

"Ooh, so it's about a girl... tell me..." Her eyes was sparkling as Jack couldn't help chuckle.

"No, it's not like that..." He quickly tells her off as he swore she looked disappointed for a second.

"So... is this girl your friend?" She asks him as he choked inside.

"You wish!" He thought.

"No, she isn't, anyways the point is, she... umm, might have, well... 'offended' my friends , I kinda flipped so I told some pretty mean things to her in front of everyone so she'd leave us alone... and..." Jack trails off.

"And?"

"And... she got upset and left, crying... and... maybe I feel a little bad about it...

"A little?" His mother looks at him with an 'are you sure' look.

"Maybe a lot, a lot bad..."

"That's why I'm so confused, I'm pretty sure I did the right thing... but why do I feel so bad about the whole thing?" Jack says as his mother was seen with her fingers around her lips. She fidgets around before coming up with an answer.

"Well, Jack, you did the right thing..."

"Yeah, everyone said that yesterday... and it didn't really help..." Jack mutters in disappointment.

"Let me finish..." She softly spoke as Jack turns to her and listen intently.

"You did the right thing... You should stand up for your friends if necessary... but, sometimes we might get a little... carried away..." His mom says as Jack looks confused.

"Look, maybe sometime it's not always about paying something back like, an eye for an eye, sometimes, things we say might hurt others more than they can hurt us..."

"B-but! She hurt my friends, I couldn't just go softly on her!!" Jack rebuttals but his mom shook her head.

"You're right... but, you wouldn't be feeling guilty about it now if you thought like that would you?" His mom says as Jack froze. He sense some truth in her words and maybe he did go a little to harsh on her.

"Don't worry, you're your dad's son all right! When me and him used to date, one thing I could tell's that he hates making ladies cry... Every time he made me upset, he'd always bring home tubs of ice-cream, they'd always cheer me up!" She says reminiscing of the good times she had with her husband.

"Then, what do I do? I can't just show up to her with a tub of ice-cream!!" He asks her as she places her paw on his shoulder.

"Well, girls are usually easier to deal with. Maybe what you said knocked some sense into her, so find some time and go talk to her, sort things out... Surprisingly, you might even get a new friend..." His mom suggests as he was reluctant in accepting the idea.

Talking to one of the most obnoxious, selfish and hardheaded woman in all of Safe Haven. Fat chance... But he didn't have the heart to tell that to his mother.

"Okay, I'll try it..." Jack says as convincingly possible as his mother smiles proudly.

"Good, now that we had our small talk, you must be hungry... want some waffles?" His mom says as she stands up and makes her way to the kitchen.

"Umm, sure, can you put some choc-

DING-DONG

The bell of the house suddenly rung as Jack and Mindy instantly turns towards the door.

"Hmm? Who could that be? Jack could you fetch the door?" Mindy asks him as Jack stands up.

He then walks towards the door as his hands grab onto the knob. He twists it as the door unlocks with a click. He pulls the door back to greet the person behind it but he didn't expect who it was at all.

He opens the door to see a girl wearing her notorious black and white dress along with her orange sweater. She had a lock of orange hair running through her dark black hair which immediately gave off her identity other than her familiar sinister face.

"Hello-

Baltimore greets when the door suddenly slams shut which caught her by surprise. Meanwhile, inside the house, Jack could be seen hugging his back against the door, a panic and shocked look was present on his face.

"Wh-why is she here?!!!" He thought to himself.

"Umm, Jack, what're you doing? Who's at the door?" His mom suddenly arrives besides him.

"Oh, it's uhh, no one, umm, anyway, have you lost weight?" Jack stammers and tries to distract his mother.

"Oh Jack, move aside, they could be having a heat stroke out there!!" Mindy pushes his hands away from the knob as she opens the door. She was surprised to see a very beautiful and politely dressed girl in front of her house. Baltimore was also surprised to see Mindy.

"Oh umm, hello... who might you be?" Mindy asks the girl standing on her porch.

"Um, hi, I'm Baltimore, Baltimore Starlena, I'm..." She trails off thinking as Jack looks from behind his mom with a mixture of concern and anger.

"What the fuck is she doing here? Is she out to get revenge? Did she hire some mafia members to kidnap my mom?" Jack was panicking inside with all sort of theories down the rabbit hole of Starlena's revenge.

"Hmm, Baltimore... I'm sorry, I'm not quite familiar with your name? Are you one of Jack's friends?" Mindy asks her as Jack scoffs.

"No, she's not!!" Jack inwardly thought.

"Umm, yes, I'm Jack's friend!!" Baltimore answered which made Jack's eyes goes berserk. He looks at her with a shocked look at the response she gave.

"No she's not!!" Jack suddenly bursts out from besides his mother.

"She's lying! She's not my friend!!" Jack adds as Mindy looks at Baltimore with shock.

"Is that true?" She asks but Baltimore suddenly comes closer.

"No, I'm not actually his friend..." She admits as Jack looks at her, giving her an intimidating stare.

"I'm Jack's girlfriend!" Baltimore said confidently as she smiles brightly at Jack.

"WHAT?!!" Jack exclaims in his mind as he looks at his mother who has her eyes sparkling.

"What are you doi-" As Jack was about to voice out his opinion, Baltimore suddenly rushes towards him and embraces him in a hug.

Jack instantly froze at the girl's actions but he didn't know what to do.

"Play along..." Baltimore whispers at his ears as a worried look was carved onto his face.

"What did I just got myself into?" Jack worriedly thought as he looks at his mother who was beaming at the sight of a beautiful girl hugging her son.

"Shit!!!" The day couldn't have gone any worse for him.

After that, Mindy welcomed her inside as Baltimore could be seen looking around and observing the house. Inside, Jack's mind, he instantly knows that she's checking if his house was high ante or if it's some plebian's shelter.

"Have a seat, Baltimore, I'll go prepare something to drink!" Mindy offers as Baltimore sat down before giving her a grateful smile.

"Thank you, Mrs. Wells..." She innocently smiles as Mindy walks towards the kitchen.

But as Baltimore was distracted, she sneaked a glance at Jack who was looking at her and gave him a thumbs up. Jack creases at his mom's gesture before immediately looking at Baltimore and carving a serious look. Both of them stared at each other as Jack looks at her with caution and Baltimore puts on a sweet smile. Later, his mom arrived with a two glasses of ice cold orange juices.

"I'm sorry dear, but we ran out of tea, so I hope some orange juice will suffice!!" Mindy says at Baltimore but she just smiles back.

"It's fine! Orange juice is my favourite!! Thanks Mrs.Wells!!" Baltimore says as she takes the cold glass of orange juice and slowly takes a sip.

"I'm glad if you like them... I'm going to the back for a while, the garden needs some proper care, you two have fun and if there's anything you need, don't hesitate to call!" Mindy says as she takes one final look at Baltimore.

"You're really pretty..." Mindy says before turning to Jack.

"Young man, treat this girl with respect okay?" Mindy advices as Jack awkwardly nods. Mindy was proud at her son as she walks before exiting through the back door. As she left, Jack instantly lets go of his smile and looks at her with scorn.

"What are you doing, Starlena?" Jack spoke seriously as he stared daggers at her.

"Would it kill to call me, Baltimore or 'baby', since I am your girlfriend!" She says back with a hint of tease in her tone as Jack clenches his fist.

"That's because YOU'RE NOT MY GIRLFRIEND!!! I DON'T KNOW WHAT GAME YOU'RE PLAYING, BUT EVEN IF I'M SOME WEAK JACKAL, I'M NOT IN THE MOOD-

Suddenly Baltimore puts her glass down and closes her face towards him as she was inches from his face.

"Keep it quiet... or else your mom might find out..." She says with a hint of malice as Jack clicks his tongue.

"What do you want Starlena?" Jack asks again, this time slowly but still carrying the same energy of despise.

Baltimore then suddenly switches to an apologetic gaze as she fidgets around with her fingers. Jack immediately notice the change in her expression but he didn't falter from his anger. She stared at him blankly for a while before letting out a long sigh.

"I want to apologize..." Baltimore suddenly says as Jack's instantly evolved. His expression softens as it feels like he was frozen in time. He sat still for a while, contemplating on what he just heard.

"W-what?" He asks again wondering if he heard her correctly.

"I said I want to apologize... I'm sorry..." Baltimore reiterates but she looks away despite her apology.

"Y-you're serious?" Jack looks at her with disbelief.

"Yeah! I said it alright!!" Baltimore says with an annoyed tone trying to maintain her facade.

"T-then, why the hell did you say you're my girlfriend for?!!" Jack states as he throws up his hands.

"Well, it's not my fault is it?! I said it first that I'm your friend, but you were being a smartass and decided to fuck it all up! So, I had no choice, at least that'll shut your maw!!" Baltimore bursts out before both of their eyes went wide. They both look to the side but luckily, his mom wasn't there. Both of then instantly slump their back and breaths a sigh of relief.

"So, the whole 'girlfriend' thing was so you can get a one on one with me, just for you to apologize..." Jack tries to simplify her actions.

"Yeah, what's so hard to understand about that?!" She says arrogantly which did prick his nerves a bit.

"And... what makes you think I'm just going to forgive you?" Jack says as it stops her from taking a sip from her glass. She suddenly puts on a malicious smile towards him.

"Hey, I don't care if you forgive me or not, I'm just here to apologize, that's it!" She says arrogantly and turns away but it only made him chuckle.

"Ah, Starlena, you can't full me, you expect me to believe that when you showed up at my doorstep, out in the middle of the day, on a Saturday, which means you'd probably spent some effort asking people around on where I lived since you don't know me, especially my house address... If that's the case, you're probably desperate for my forgiveness, so... would it kill for you to be a little nice so I might consider forgiving you, 'baby' ?" Jack decides to let in some of the art of words warfare he learnt a bit from his cousin. Honestly, he was surprised himself where his courage suddenly came from, probably from the fact that he had nothing to lose.

"You got some balls, mutt!" She dryly compliments him.

"I'll take that as a compliment, and it's Jack by the way! Keep that in mind if you want me to forgive you!" Jack smiles at her defeat. Baltimore fidgets with her fingers, rubbing them around but she knew she needed to get rid of her ego for once.

"Look, Jack... I'm really sorry alright, for what I did to you guys yesterday... It wasn't a nice thing to do... I'm sorry..." Baltimore apologize this time sounding more sincere which again surprised him.

A familiar feeling plagued him again. The same feeling he felt since yesterday. He didn't know what to expect with her sudden sincerity but it wouldn't feel nice if he kept tormenting her.

"Baltimore..."

It was the first time he called her by her first name which surprised her a bit.

"I'm not the kind of guy who keeps grudges... But what you did, it didn't hurt just me, but my friends as well... You can't really expect me to just forgive you for that right? What about all the times you bothered us?" Jack explains as Baltimore could be seen with a disappointed look.

"Plus, it's not me who you should be apologizing to, but Kayla, you did hurt her, like a lot..." Jack points out but Baltimore just sat still. Her eyes glued to the ice melting on the surface of her orange juice.

"I... I know... I'm trying... but, after what you said... the way you went off, I thought I should apologize to you first, since, I thought..." Baltimore reveals as Jack remembers all the harsh things he said. They seemed to be the right thing to say then but now, not so much.

"I know what I did was wrong... I'm not gonna say I didn't realize what I was doing, but... when you said those things... I...

He could see her arms trembling as she held her thighs, probably a sign of her trying to control her emotions. Suddenly, he could see her trying to wipe her eyes from some breach of tears. He bit his lips as he looks down.

"Umm, thanks Jack... for listening... I'm sorry if I wasted your time..." She suddenly stands up but kept her gaze down.

"I probably should get going if... *hmm hmm* Tell your mom I said thanks..." Baltimore says before walking towards the door. She then twists the knob as she opens them and takes a step outside. However, she suddenly turns back to him with a forlorn face.

"For what's it worth, I'm really sorry Jack... You're right about everything you said about me..." She suddenly says as Jack's pupil shrunk. She then fully steps outside before closing the door.

Simultaneously, the back door suddenly opens, revealing Mindy, sweating and with dirt staining her apron all over.

"Now, that'll take care of everything!!" She mentions before looking in front with surprise.

"Jack, where's your girlfriend? Did she leave already?" Mindy asks but Jack kept silent.

He stares down at his untouched glass of orange juice before looking at her's. It was finished and he could see some ice cubes melting.

"Ice..." He thought before something popped up in his mind. He immediately rose from his seat before sprinting out which shocked his mother.

"J-Jack?!" She calls him but he needed to be quick.

He bursts outside before seeing a high ante, obsidian black limo, parked outside his house. An old grey wolf could be seen wearing a sort of butler outfit, welcoming Baltimore inside.

"W-wait!! Baltimore!!" Jack suddenly calls her which made her turn back in surprise.

He tries to reach her but his bad luck triggered. His feet slipped as he goes stumbling down on the porch steps onto the grass of his lawn.

"Ooh, that's gonna leave a scar!" Her butler suddenly comments as Baltimore face palms herself and sighed.

"Gerard, please help him up..." She orders as her butler immediately goes towards his side before offering a hand.

"Thanks!" Jack thanks the butler as he just nods back in silence. Jack look forward to see Baltimore with a smirk up her face with her hands crossed. It was definitely a different expression compared to earlier.

"That was graceful!" She delivers a snarky remark as Jack couldn't help chuckle. It's because he hears the sadness despite her snarky tone.

"I've fallen worst..." He says as he feels his ribs healing and the pain fading.

"So, why did you call me for?" Baltimore suddenly says as Jack clears his throat.

"Look, I forgive you alright!" Jack says as Baltimore looks at him with wide eyes.

"Y-you do?" Baltimore asks for reassurance.

"But what you did still hurt my friends so I want you to apologize to them as well!" Jack says sternly as Baltimore nods.

"Fine, I'll try..." She says back.

"I also wanted to say that I'm sorry..." Jack suddenly says as Baltimore looks at him with confusion.

"I feel bad, about what I said, how I made you cry yesterday because of it. I didn't mean any of it, I just got carried away... And earlier as well, it wasn't my intention at all so... yeah..." Jack explains as Baltimore just rubs her hands and looks to the side. A slight blush appears but Jack didn't notice it.

"I'm... fine with it I guess... I don't really care about it..." Baltimore says accepting his apology but Jack wasn't convinced.

"I do... so I thought... what if we talk things out at Haagen Duck tomorrow? My treat... It's the least I can do..." Jack explains as Baltimore couldn't be more shocked.

"The... ice cream parlor?" She asks him as he slowly nods.

"Are you asking me on a date Jack?" She suddenly puts on a cheeky smile as Jack couldn't help but feel flustered.

"N-no! I just wanted to sort things out between us, that why-

"Sort... things out... You're talking as if we're a real couple?" She teases him again as Jack clenches his fist to control his flush.

"S-shut up, Baltimore...*sigh* So, how about it?" Jack asks her as she thought about it for a while. She then looks at him with a rather rare smile. It was sincere and it felt... nice.

"Okay, it's a date than!!" Baltimore winks at him as she walks towards her limo.

"H-hey? Can I... uh, get your number? So I can contact you tomorrow!!" Jack shyly asks as Baltimore skips back to him. She then brought out a Sharpie as she suddenly grabs his arms.

"You're a lucky guy Jack, not a lot of guys gets to pretend to be my date..." She says as she writes down her number of Jack's paw.

"That's... still your fault..." He says as he could feel his mom gazing at them with hopeful and sparkling eyes.

"Nope, it's yours! So, I'm your problem now, 'baby'!!" She boldly says, knowing of how his mom feels about her.

"You're really enjoying this aren't you?" Jack questions her as she just giggles and didn't respond towards his question.

"Very!!"

After she was done, she joyfully skips back to her limo as she went inside. The door closes as Jack looks at the number written on his paw. He then turns back as he started walking back towards his door.

"Hey, Jack!!"

He turns to see the tinted window of the limo, pulled down as Baltimore could be seen waving at him with a smile.

"Thanks!! And don't forget about our date!!" She didn't miss that chance to tease him before the limo starts and drove off. Somehow, Jack felt something as he waves back to her, smiling as well.

As she disappears from sight, he walks inside before closing the door. He could feel someone staring at him and when he looks to his side, he could see his mom looking at him with maximum pride and joy.

"My little baby's becoming a man..." She says in awe as Jack couldn't help but sweat.

"I'm going out tomorrow... so I thought about resting up, I'll head to my room first..." He says before walking up his stairs.

He then opens his bedroom door and enters the room. He then closes the door before jumping on his bed as creaks could be heard. He hugs his pillow before staring up at his ceiling. He suddenly brings out his arms up high, as he aligns his hands with the light. He could see her number written on his arms as a new feeling entered him.

A definite new feeling, that made him giddy and happy. He didn't know what it was but... he welcomed it.

Meanwhile, inside the limo, Baltimore could be seen looking out the tinted window as she stares at the houses they pass.

"He seems like a nice young man, Miss Starlena..." Her butler Gerard suddenly comments as his eyes was focused on the road.

"How many times have I told you to just call me Elena, right? You know how much I hate that name..." Baltimore says as he looks through the dash mirror before looking straight forward.

"Yes, multiple times..." Gerard comments before keeping silent.

However, Baltimore or Elena, was looking at the writing on her hand. Just how she gave him her number, he'd also gave his. She just stares at it, not noticing of the smile that crept up her face.

She then quickly brings out her phone before typing in and adding his number. She then instantly goes towards her Zoostagram and sees him in her contact list. She thought hard about what to type and it troubled her. Somehow, she desperately wanted to talk to him but to no avail, no conversation comes to mind.

"Elena..."

Gerard suddenly calls as she looks forward.

"Might I suggest, holding off your conversations until tomorrow, perhaps, you'll find some interesting topics to talk about then..." Gerard comments as Elena nods firmly.

"Alright!" She beams before putting down her phone back into her purse.

She looks outside this time, with a bright smile on her face. Gerard smiles inside looking at how happy she was as they continued driving.

Something sometimes, might just need a second chance for it to bloom...

A/N= Hello guys, I thought about posting this story. I was reading and trying to get to know more characters from Zoophobia and I stumbled upon Baltimore, she seemed interesting so I thought I pair her up with Jack. This is my first SFW fic but I thought I do it in two parts, so technically not a one-shot but who cares, since I was afraid the whole thing would be too long. So, this is the first part which is SFW but I'll make the NSFW 2nd part after this so... I hope you enjoy...
