Izuku sat up and rubbed his throbbing head. He attempted to put his hair into a ponytail again, but realized his hair tie was gone.
And so was his gear.
"Izuku..."
"Huh? Who's there?" He looked around, but saw nobody.
"Izuku, I don't wish to scare you but you almost lost your arm in the battle with the Demon King's corpse. I saved you from a near death but your arm..."
Izuku looked at his right arm. It looked just like the arm on the corpse's chest, and that saved him from falling before also falling itself. Izuku screamed at it.
"I was expecting that reaction, I know this is a lot to take in at once." The arm glew when the voice spoke to him. "You should make your way to the Temple of Time. You can leave the island from there."
Izuku got off of the ground and left the room. Shortly after, he found the remains of the Master Sword, and used it to make his way through some vines. After walking for a bit, he entered a room with giant cogs and a strange pedestal that glew green when he approached. He touched it, and a small pool of sand nearby glew blue with a pattern that looked like a teleportation point from the Shrines.
"A travel point?" Izuku asked. "Where am I?"
"You can get a better view of where you are once you leave this room."
"You don't know either, do you."
"I think I know, but again, I don't want to scare you. This can be a lot for just recovering."
After jumping off of small platforms into pools of water, he found a green treasure chest containing some pants. Izuku left the room to find another short platform leading to the bear sky. Izuku saw a floating island down below, and realized he'd have to jump. He took a few steps back and rushed off the edge, kicking off the ground. He opened his arms wide for extra balance as he dived.
It was a long fall down, but he had made it; splashing into a pool of water when he had finished his decent. He swam out of the water and spotted a sky blue mushroom with yellow around the edge of the cap. Izuku went over to it and plucked it out.
"Oh, it's cute!"
"Just as I had thought. You are now on Great Sky Island. That mushroom is called a Skyshoom."
Izuku pocketed it and picked up a few tree branches. "Better this than fighting with my bear hands."
He continued walking until he came to a split road. He decided to go right, but a beep interrupted his stroll. He looked and saw an angry-looking green robot coming towards him holding a stick.
"Waah! What is that thing?!"
"The Soldier Constructs are active after all this time...Quite impressive. They were made to protect the Sky island from intruders. They think you are a threat."
Izuku knocked it over by wacking it with the tree branch until the branch shattered. He grabbed one of the other branches he had on him and jumped, branch in hand, thrusting the branch into the internal workings of the Construct. He backflipped off of it and put the branch away. The Construct got off the ground, teal lights flashing.
The Soldier Construct fell into pieces and clattered to the ground. Izuku picked up the small, glowing, teal orb of the Construct's energy and pocketed it along with the horn it had dropped and the stick.
"That was...easy." He plucked apples off of a tree near where the Construct had come from, and pocketed another stick.
He continued walking to find what looked like the remains of another Construct. Walking carefully, he took out his tree branch and poked at the Construct.
"You gonna attack me?"
The head moved upwards, startling Izuku. The Construct revealed arms as well. It looked different from the one that tried to attack Izuku.
"Uh!" Izuku gasped, flinching back.
"Hello, Izuku."
"Oh, hi." Izuku straightened his stance again. "You can talk."
It nodded. "I am a Steward Construct. Don't fear, I won't attack you."
"How do you know me?"
"I was told you would come," the Construct said. "And I have a gift from Princess Uraraka for you."
A small spot of its chest opened and revealed that it had the Purah Pad! Uraraka never left that device behind! Izuku wondered if she was alright as he accepted it from the friendly robot. Examining the pad, he saw the pictures that she had taken under Hyrule Castle still on the device. He slid it onto his belt.
"My records indicate that Princess Uraraka is waiting for you at the position indicated on its map," it explained.
Izuku brought out the Purah Pad and looked at the map. There was a yellow flashing dot nearby, but still pretty far. He slid it back onto his belt.
Izuku noticed it looking at his new arm. Izuku looked at it as well. "Is something wrong with my arm?"
"No, it just looks familiar to me." It looked back at Izuku. "But, I assume it's nothing important. You should head there, you do not want to keep her waiting for long."
"Right, thanks."
"I am here to help you, Izuku. You can talk to me or other Steward Constructs if you need help."
Izuku walked a bit further, taking in the view as he went. Sure, he may have been on a floating island in the sky, but the view was sublime. There was a sudden edge, and Izuku backed up a bit before he slipped off.
Another one of those green circles was by the edge. Izuku touched it and a bridge revealed itself.
"Oh, cool!" He went across the bridge and found another friendly Construct. Izuku waved to it. "Hi!"
Its head popped up. "Oh, Izuku." Everything else on his body was still tucked in on itself.
"You alright there, buddy?"
It looked around, and revealed the rest of its body. "Yes, I'm alright. Have you seen any Soldier Constructs yet?"
"Yeah, just one."
"They can be seen as hostile, but they only attack people who do not belong on there islands."
"And that means me, right?"
It nodded. "Yes, although the Steward Constructs know who you are, the Soldier Constructs do not."
"I see."
"They are a security measure for the Zonai," it explained.
"Zonai? You mean the first people on Hyrule?"
"Yes."
"Do you mind if I take the stuff in these jars?"
"Not at all. If it'll help you on your journey, you are allowed to take it."
Izuku picked up the jar and smashed it on the ground. The Steward Construct immediately retreated into its dormant form.
"I must protect myself..." It shook softly, the parts of its body clattering quietly.
"Oh no! Did I scare you?!"
It poked its head back up. "That was you. I apologize."
"No, no! It's fine! I didn't mean to scare you!"
"Where are you heading to?"
"I'm going over there," Izuku said, pointing at the towering, spiral-shaped building. "I think that's the Temple of Time?"
"Oh, yes. That is the Temple of Time. Be careful, there are a lot of Soldier Constructs and Flux Constructs on the way to the temple."
"Flux?"
"They are giant Constructs with the same duty as the Soldier Constructs; to protect the Sky islands. They are much more powerful, however, and can separate their blocky forms to change and create more useful attacks."
"How do I find them?"
"They are not on this island theirselves, but can be found on large circular island throughout the sky. Of course, there is a large island where one can be found very near to the Temple of Time, but unless you're planning to face it down it can be easy to avoid."
"Is there any way to beat them in case I do run into one?"
"They have a block that stores all of their energy inside it. If you can reach it and destroy it, you can shut down the Flux Construct."
"Thank you!"
"Of course." It retreated back into its dormant mode.
"Alright, time to head to the Temple of Time!"
