A/N: so the first two chapters have been combined with little revising cause at this point I can't be bothered, and I jumped the gun on chapter 3. That may come later if at all.

Where superpowers are common and are typically activated in children, it's no surprise that quirk awakenings are dangerous. Izuku Midoriya was no different, costing his mother hundreds in repairs.

He was watching the TV as his mother tried to find something entertaining enough for a hyperactive toddler, and eventually chose a pre-quirk channel. Maybe they would play something educational? It would never hurt for a kid to learn something historical.

No, instead they played an old boxing movie. Young Izuku, despite not knowing what they were saying because it was in English for some damn reason, was immediately captivated by the cool, brightly colored robots. Even if he was pretty smart for his age, he was still a child. He especially liked the purple samurai robot with the words "Ultra Evil-Man" sprawled across his chest and shoulders.

He watched Ultra-Evil Man throw a powerful right cross which slammed into a dirty golden bot sending it and its afro crashing into the ground, Izuku was left stunned. What if HE had a giant boxing bot? How cool and awesome that would be! He thought of all the amazing things he could do, the excitement in him began to swell along with his imagination.

Wait, did the swelling always seem to be that extreme? Did it always come with such immense pressure? Is this a heart attack?! Something big collapsed onto the television screen, crushing it as if it were a sandcastle. If Izuku wasn't suffering from a heart attack before, he definitely was now. Bolting upright and spinning around so fast he might've suffered whiplash, he discovered Ultra-Evil Man sprawled out on the floor beside him.

Izuku was at a loss for words. He didn't understand how this was possible, never before has there been a quirk based on a form of media, the chances would be insanely low. Yet, he felt drawn to it, as if it were his to command. Curiosity overtaking him, he ushered a silent order for it to stand. The giant complied, stepping atop the remains of the TV, only serving to grind it into a pile of dust further.

Completely mesmerized and forgetting his surroundings, he recalled the last preset command he could remember, "Top Salvo!". Ultra-Evil Man proceeded to swing his arms overhead in an X pattern, leaving two long valleys in the wall. Izuku didn't care, he was too busy jumping up and down in excitement.

But before the child and his metal boxer could continue causing havoc and destruction, Inko ran in, armed with a pan, having heard the clashing and banging, and was ready to protect her baby with her life. But upon seeing the damage, Izukus's joyous face, and the massive 8'5" robot following his every command she promptly fainted.

It had taken a lot of apologizing and reassurances to get Inko to be comfortable with the fact that Izuku had a quirk. They tried to immediately race to a quirkologist's office, but encountered the problem of the Robot, how could they bring him along? After numerous failed attempts and theories, they eventually settled on calling a tow truck. As the truck dragged the bot along with an obscene amount of sparks, they had finally arrived.

"All right, so you can make a robot?" The doctor inquired. They were cramped in a small doctor's office, and the 1120lbs Manga Mangler didn't help make it any roomier. Izuku had already tried to get the bot to sit down, but that had resulted in a destroyed chair."W-well, it was from a m-movie" Izuku stuttered.

"What?"

"I was w-watching this old boxing movie w-with him in it, w-when BAM, he appeared o-on top of the TV"

"And you can control it?"

Izuku was about to demonstrate before Inko stopped him, not wanting to make any more of a mess in the doctor's office. Izuku resorted to the words, "Yes".

"Do any of you remember the name of the movie?" The Doctor asked.

"I think it was called Real Steel?" Inko interjected.

"Right, well after a little more testing well get you the results, maybe by tomorrow."

The doctors were stunned, the chance of a quirk being exactly the same as a form of media? Virtually impossible! They had already thought of it being a copying quirk and tried to get Izuku to copy multiple forms of TV, games, or videos, yet nothing. Only with that Real Steel movie did they have any form of success. A quirk that could only copy once? Ridiculous.

So, they decided to stop thinking about it, and just accepted the fact that it was the same as a movie. They decided to call the quirk, WRB, after a major league in the movie. The user could summon any bot and control it. After that, they called it a day and sent home the results, along with the advice to watch that movie with Japanese subtitles as soon as they could find a copy.

Izuku was having the time of his life, and couldn't wait to show his new quirk off at school. While he had become an outcast, a sort of pariah, the bullying hadn't quite began. So when he arrived at school, he immediately sought out what he thought was his closest friend. "Kachaan!" Izuku called, running to catch up to him. "Are you talking to me shitty deku?" Where a barely cognizant child learned such language was a mystery."I HAVE A QUIRK!" Izuku exclaimed. "Excuse me?" Katsuki asked, disbelievingly. "LOOK"

And right where they were looking, a giant purple robot known as Noisy Boy (Izuku had since learned his true name since watching the movie with subtitles completely) suddenly appeared. It didn't slowly manifest in a bright light, nor did appear in a puff of smoke, it was just suddenly there as if it had always been but just wasn't noticed. "Holy Shit" the blond responded, stunned. Izuku then had it perform combos and punches that would decimate walls, metal, and people alike in the future.

"WE HAVE TO TELL EVERYBODY" Kastuki shouted, just as excited. The 6 year olds somehow forgot their history with one another. They were only kindergartners, so grudges, or any complex emotions for that matter, we're beyond them.

Apparently Katsukis idea of showing people was to scare the living shit out of them with a giant boxer

8 years later (if this is here that's cause I couldn't figure out a way to show a timeskip intelligently and subtly.)

Izuku managed to drag himself out of the last class of the day, finally being able to look forward to a nice long weekend.

This week seemed to drag on for years. Not to say anything bad happened, but nothing good happened either. NOTHINGS HAPPENING HE IS BORED OUT OF HIS FUCKIN MIND. Usually there were markers throughout the week, like an appointment on Wednesday, or going out to do something on Friday.

Not this week, the days seemed to drift into one another, hard to tell when one started and one ended.

Noisy Boy appearing from thin air had been a sight he had long grown accustomed to. As it knelt down in front of him, he put his foot on the bots knee, and pulling himself up on top of the boxers shoulders, (and no he didn't slip shut up) flipping himself upright on his new perch, he began walking home.

Maybe he could convince mom to make some Kastudon? Or better yet maybe he could learn how so he wouldn't have to bug her? He could never get it right, the flavor seemed to be off and he could never fix it no matter what he did. Maybe he should add more-

"You lazy sack of shit."

He looked to his right and saw Kacchan walking beside him. How long had he been there?

"Hey don't knock it till you try it!" Izuku said, feeling a tiny bit defensive of his new ride.

"Do you ever use your legs? Or are they just for decoration?"

"Ima use these legs to shove my foot up your ass."

Izuku swore back. Midoriya never used such vulgar language around other people, that was disrespectful. But he had been around Bakugou for so long he never bothered to hold his tongue. Hell, Kacchan rubbed off on him that way.

"Hah, if you ever came down from there." Katsuki challenged.

"Watch me."

"I'm watchin'."

They walked in rare silence as he waited for Midoriya to make his move. Izuku never did, still sitting up on his perch, after about 30 seconds he relented a huff and a mumble of "fuck you."

"Haha, called it. Seriously though, shouldn't you be exercising for UA?"

Izuku looked away indignantly, "I do exercise!"

Kacchan rolled his eyes, "Yea, you jog in the morning. You are skin and bones, and I know you know that jogging won't cut it for the top school in the nation."

"Yea okay, mom."

"I'm serious, I can take your smartass to the gym with me. Show you how to actually gain muscle for once in your life."

Midoriya had no doubt that Kacchan would get him into shape, but Bakugo's routine would probably kill him. Izuku went to voice these concerns but stopped mid sentence.

"Kacchan, where the hell are we going?"

Katsuki looked at him weird, "I was following you."

"I WAS FOLLOWING YOU!" Midoriya threw his hands in the air in exasperation.

"Real smooth Freak the Mighty. Look, just use google maps jackass. I gotta go home, or else the old hag will have my head on a platter." Bakugo complained, and began walking in a seemingly random direction.

"See ya!" Izuku shouted after him.

Izuku heard a faint insult in response. Now where was home?

————————————————————————

The boy and his giant had been walking for about an hour now. Izuku might've been exhausted if not for the fact he wasn't walking at all, and the hydraulics and pistons of Noisy Boy cared not for distance or the weight of the extra passenger.

They were definitely lost, he swore that the directions were messing with him. They had been walking through unfamiliar streets and getting weird looks and glances from passersby, probably eyeing his bot and guessing it's worth.

As they walked under a small overpass, a nearby sewer grate exploded, and a green mass of goo and slime emerged from below. It had no real body, just a floating pair of eyes and other viscera it must have picked up.

"Ooh, a hostage! Come here boy and I'll make your death painless!"

It lunged for Izuku, liquid tentacles spreading out and surrounding him, before they converges and submerged him in slime.

Noisy Boy did his best to defend his master, but to no avail, it was like trying to punch a river. The eyes would slip away before he could smash them. He tried to pull out Midoriya but helplessly swiped at him, a lack of opposable thumbs hindered him.

Midoriya vision blurred as slime and water obscured his sight, and the black began to fade into the edges of his field of view, he desperately clawed at his throat, trying to stay conscious. That's hard to do without oxygen. As he gradually succumbed to the void, the last thing he saw was a star spangled fist.
