The next morning everyone woke up and gathered around the Television. Not only did Logan Rory and her father give an interview to the paper but the happy couple also gave a Television interview aside from the initial press conference.
"Dad Logan come on the interview is airing!"
"Coming. Coming. Jeez Ror calm down" her dad said with a laugh as he dropped a kiss on her head.
The television was tuned in to KABC where Christine Lund appeared on the screen.
"Good morning America. For the first time in a long time KABC is doing a national broadcast. Last night I had the pleasure of sitting down with Logan Huntzburger,Lorelai Hayden and her father Christopher Hayden as well as Shira and Mitchum Huntzburger. Now I'm sure that everyone has seen the press conference and read the news articles that were written. But here is what everyone had to say last night."
The show flipped over to last night's interview.
"Welcome to KABC. And thank you for allowing me the opportunity of doing the interview. Mr and Mrs Huntzburger Mr huntzburger, Ms hayden, Mr Hayden. Before I start questioning is there anything you would like to start out with?"" First of all Christine its Logan and Rory please. Secondly, I want to start out by thanking my parents and the Hayden's. If it wasn't for them Rory and I might not be where we are today.""Logan honey don't forget out friends. Collin Finn and Steph would be sorely disappointed if they weren't recognized for all their help." Logan readily agreed with her. Christine started in on the questions."Okay so let's get started. Mr and Mrs Huntzburger how do you feel about the relationship between Rory and Logan?""We have to admit that in the beginning we were not happy but we truly have seen the error of our ways and we couldn't be happier that Rory and Logan are back together." Shira commented."Mr Hayden what about you?""Well christine,I've always liked Logan. Him and Rory complement each other so well and I couldn't be happier for the reunion.""That's absolutely wonderful. And I can see the love that the families have for each other. Now Logan and Rory. I know you all did a press conference and an interview with the times but I'm sure everyone wants to know do you feel bad about the interview and what was said about the Gilmore family?" Logan let Rory answer"You know Christine I thought I would. But the truth is that the Gilmore's tried to control me and I needed to stand up for myself. They may not like my decision but I am 22 years old and need to make my own way without their influence. They need to understand that they don't have control over me.""Logan anything you would like to add?""I have known the Gilmore family my whole life. Growing up in Hartford society everyone knows everyone. Lorelai Gilmore has always made it clear she never liked me for her daughter. But as for the elder Gilmore's they at one point said I was a perfect match for Rory so it really is shocking to hear that they no longer approve."Christine just watched as Logan comforted Rory along with the parents that had attended."Now on to more exciting news. I understand you both are expecting and that Rory has received a new job at HPG.""Yes Rory is the new President of Crisis Management at HPG. I saw what she was able to do at the Yale Daily News when they hit a crisis and I knew she was the only one for the job. As for the baby well we couldn't be happier to welcome the newest hayden-huntzburger into the family.""Well again I want to thank you all again for allowing me to do the interview with you today and all of us here at KABC wish you nothing but the best of luck."
The show cut off and returned to the live feed.
"Well there you have it America my interview with the new couple who are America's sweethearts! From all of us here at KABC we wish them all the best!" They turned off the TV and Rory picked up her phone.
"Christine. Rory. We just watched your segment and it was amazing! For sure! Let me know your schedule and we will do lunch" they talked alittle more and then hung up.
The family talked and agreed that the interview was just the icing on the cake. Nothing to personal was given away and no body felt bad. All that had to happen now was to wait on a reaction from the Gilmore family.
