steven was in for another day at work, doing the usual things. except steven felt off all day, like something wasnt right, almost like someone wasn't there when they should've been. he tried not to let it bother him, things like that happened all the time with gems. he thought maybe he just ate something out of date by accident.

he did not. something definitely was amiss, he was offgaurd, something must of happened. steven did not get over this feeling but continued on anyways.

later that night... the work day was about to end, barely any guests were still in the building. the feeling steven had was at its hight, something would happen that night steven knew, something bad.

"hey steven, hows it going." zoe asked. steven jumped and his cheeks were an almost red almost pink. "oh! hi zoe, sorry i was just-" steven didnt want to tell her. it would just worry her anyways. "thinking."

"oh well tsk, i wanted to show you something." she felt more rude than usual. "yeah, its hard to explain, but its just over... there." zoe pointed to a room that was labeled "DO NOT ENTER"

"but, that says do not enter." steven reasoned. "for guests, maybe. i do have a level ten badge though." zoe flashed her badge. at that moment steven felt something terrible would happen, his instincts were practically pulling him away from her, but steven followed her anyways.

they reached the room, the door creaked open revealing numerous blueprints and parts with something big hidden under a cloth. "wow, is this the new animatronic they're making!" steven picked up one of the blueprints. on the blueprint was a lanky cat with a simple top hat, bowtie, and vest.

zoe walked up behind steven "oh no, this wasnt what i wanted to show you." she said her mouth twisting into a grin. two things hit steven then, the realization that this was the something he knew was coming, and a knife.

he fell to the floor, as zoe realized what she had done. "what, this wasnt what he said he'd do!" steven didnt even take in what she said, he just was waiting for his wounds to heal. but they didnt, maybe it was fate, maybe it was plot convenience. he just lied there, waiting for anything to happen.

poof. a large cloud of smoke filled the room. laying on the ground strangely alone, was a pink diamond. zoes pupils dilated, she couldn't even prosess what she- no she wouldn't do that- he did. the only thought she had was 'no one can know.' she picked up the diamond and scrambled to find a place to hide it.

'the animatronic' she thought. she shoved the diamond right below the chest cavity.

'someone knew.'

pearl was at little homeschool tidying up when she felt weird, she had an urge to call steven so she did. on the other side of the phone no one was there except a curious chicken. "bawk!" chica answered the phone. "steven is that you?." "lady, you have a weird way of saying chica." "I don't mean chica. I mean steven, have you seen him?" "ohhh. steven, he went in that door over there." "over where? I can't see though a phone."

Zoe opened the door and walked out with a strangely vacant expression. "heyy, Zoe. have you seen steven around?" chica asked." "no." she said not stoping. "he's not around right now, bye." and chica hung up

18 years later. the gems and Greg had given up looking for him. all was practically normal, even though human-gem relations were less than stellar. Connie had a child named Noelle who was 6. the only problem was she loved animatronics.

"mommy. why can't I go to freddys?" Noelle asked. "sweetie, something very bad happened there. you already know." Connie tried to reason with her. "but what? I want to know!" Noelle stomped her feet. Connie knew she couldn't just not tell her. "alright I'll tell you." Noelle smiled.

"you know my old friend steven, right? well, he used to work there, but one day he disappeared. we searched for weeks but no one knew where he was. and he wasn't the only one. many others disappeared there too." Connie explained hoping Noelle would stop asking.

"cool! so is it haunted?" Noelle pestered. conie sighed. "Noelle it's not haunted, and we aren't going there any time soon." Noelle grumbled and begrudgingly stopped talking.

it was Noelles 7th birthday and she was talking to her best friend Gregory. "and thats why i cant go." Noelle explained why she never went to freddys. "aw thats terrible, elle. hey! I have an idea." Gregory jumped up. "you could just leave your house after bedtime and I will just pick you up on my bike then we'll go there."

Noelles jaw dropped. "thats a great idea. my bedtimes at 8 so pick me up then ok!" "alright, just be really sneaky." Gregory said. "Greg! time to go!" Gregorys mom called. "coming mom!" Gregory snatched his backpack and left.
