Years passed and Purvi rejoined her work once the kids started going to school. YaNit were blessed with a son and a daughter named Yug and Niti. All of them were growing older and 25yrs old Saanvi was getting married. Sagar and Naina were now much older so they were just enjoying their granddaughter's wedding. Purvi ran to the room to get something and saw Sachin looking at himself at the mirror. She gave him a confused look and walked to him.
Purvi- Sachin aap kya kar rahe hain? Beti ki shaadi hai aur aap khud aaine ke saamne khade hain.
He looked at her and closed the door.
Purvi- kya?
He looked at 53yrs old Purvi and her gray hair. He moved closer and hugged her. She was confused but hugged him back.
Purvi- everything okay?
Sachin- haan!
Both of them looked at each other and he kissed her forehead.
Purvi- shaadi beti ki hai aur baap romantic ho rahe hain. Wow!
Sachin- bas khudko dekh raha tha yaar. Humare skin ko dekho aur ab toh baal bhi aadha safed ho gaye.
Purvi- aaj se pehle notice nahi kiya tha?
Sachin- sab pata tha lekin aaj humari Saanvi ki shaadi ho rahi hai. Bas yehi soch ke rote rote hasi aa jaati hai.
Purvi- kahin pagal toh nahi ho gaye?
Sachin- bas apne woh din yaad aa jaate hain yaar. Hum parents bane aur ab kuch saalo mein grandparents ban jaayenge. Omg!
Purvi laughed at him and he pulled her in front of the mirror. He wrapped his arms around her waist and kept his chin on her shoulder.
Sachin- itna sab badal gaya lekin ek cheez hai jo kabhi nahi badla.
Purvi- kya cheez?
Sachin- hum dono ka pyaar.
Purvi(smiling)- woh toh hai.
Sachin- kabhi kabhi mood off hota hai toh tumhare baare mein soch kar mood thik ho jaata hai.
Purvi- mera bhi. Jab bhi I feel like life is getting harder, aapke aur humare baare mein sochti hu aur himmat aa jaati hai aage badne ki.
Sachin- I love you so much meri jaan!
Purvi- I love you more mere duniya!
She turned around and he was about to kiss when they heard a knock on the door. Purvi smiled at Sachin and opened the door, it was their son. Sachin hid behind as he was scared to be judged.
Pranav- Papa kaha hain?
Purvi- kis liye?
Pranav- Saanvi ke sasur Papa ko bula rahe hain kab se.
Purvi- accha maine dekha toh main bol dungi. Tu jaa aur guests ko dekh.
Pranav- mujhe toh kuch bhi karne ka mann nahi hai Mommy.
Purvi- kyun? Thik hai tu?
Pranav- Di aaj se yaha nahi hogi toh kisko tang karunga main? Wohi toh thi jo mujhe har kaam mein help karti thi.
Purvi- kya kare beta? Yehi chalta aaya hai. Beti ko shaadi karke jaana hi padta hai.
Pranav- I guess!
Purvi- accha tu jaa, main dhoondti hu Papa ko.
Pranav walked away and Sachin came to her.
Sachin- accha hai ki nahi dekha usne varna sochta ki iss umar mein bhi dono kamre se bahar hi nahi nikalte.
Purvi- woh humara beta hai, kyun sochega aisa?
Sachin- accha main jaa raha hu. Tum bhi aa jaao jaldi.
Purvi- nahi mujhe Yash aur Nitya ko help karna hai. Bechaare kab se kitchen mein hi hain.
Sachin- accha thik hai, kanyadaan ke time aa jaana.
Purvi- okay!
Sachin smiled lightly and walked away. Purvi went to YaNit and they were all enjoying the day.
Yash- waise Purvi, tumhe ajeeb nahi lagta Neha Saanvi ki saas hai?
Nitya- aur Rahul Bhaiya uske sasur.
Purvi- ajeeb lagta hai yaar lekin dono pyaar karte hain toh hum kya kare? Bas khush rahe dono.
Yash- tumhe ab Rahul aur Neha ko aap keh ke bulana hoga.
Purvi- wohi toh. College se aaj tak tum tum karte aaye hain hum aur ab ek dum se aap. Parents banna kitna mushkil hai.
Nitya- sahi kaha.
All of them smiled and Yash noticed Yug talking to a girl.
Yash- woh dekho, Yug baat kar raha hai kisi se.
Purvi and Nitya turned around and looked at Yug.
Purvi- lagta hai Kavya ko aap kehna sikhna hoga ab tum dono ko.
Yash- humare college ki Kavya?
Purvi- haan!
Nitya- Yug Kavya ki beti se baat kar raha hai?
Purvi- haan!
Yash- tumhare shaadi ke baad kabhi dikhi nahi Kavya. Kaha hai?
Purvi- shaadi karke America chali gayi. Abhi summer pe yaha ghumne aaye the toh maine bula liya.
Nitya- that's nice!
Purvi- lagta hai humare bhanje aage hain ladki ke maamle mein. Pranav toh ladki dekhte hi dur bhagta hai. Pata nahi kabhi meri bahu aayegi bhi ya nahi.
Nitya- sirf baat hi toh kar raha hai. Abhi toh Yug sirf 23 ka hai. Aur Pranav toh career pe itna focused hai. Once that is done, I know sure koi aa jaayegi life mein.
Yash- yeh bhi toh ho sakta hai ki usne koi dhund rakha ho aur kisi ko bataya nahi?
Purvi- not possible. Uski har choti se choti baat Saanvi ko pata hota hai aur usne kabhi mujhe kuch bataya nahi.
Nitya- toh pakka hi koi hai. Saanvi mere se zyada alag nahi hai. You know we are good at keeping secrets.
Purvi- accha ji?
Nitya smiled and they continued their work. Years were passing, and SachVi and YaNit were retired. Sagar and Naina passed away and Pranav was married with a son so SachVi would spend their days watching their grandkid. Pranav was a senior CID officer and Saanvi was a doctor. Saanvi and Pranav decided to throw an anniversary party for SachVi so everyone were gathered. SachVi were getting ready for the event and they were now in their 70s. Purvi was wearing a saree and Sachin was looking at her from a distance. He was recalling all those old days where they were young. Purvi turned around and looked at her husband who was smiling at her.
Purvi- kya dekh rahe hain aap?
Sachin- bas yehi ki tum aaj bhi kitni khubsoorat ho.
She walked to him and smiled.
Purvi- aur aap toh pehle se bhi hot ho gaye hain.
He laughed at her and hugged her. She wrapped her arms around him.
Sachin- I love you pehle se bhi zyada.
Purvi- I love you usse bhi zyada.
Both of them smiled and kissed softly. He took her face into his hands.
Sachin- Thank you for all these years! Tumhare bina aaj main jo hu woh nahi hota. Tumne hamesha mera saath diya hai. I know maine hamesha tumhe khush nahi rakha hai lekin phir bhi tumne mera saath kabhi nahi choda. Aaj tumhare yeh safed baal dekhta hu toh bahut proud feel hota hai. Lagta hai jaise maine life ki har jang jit liya ho.
Purvi- Sachin aap bhi na? Aise baat kar rahe jaise maine toh aapko kabhi koi tension di hi nahi. I know mujhse bhi bahut saari galtiya hui hain life mein and aapne sab maaf kar diya. Aap ke yeh wrinkles dekh ke lagta hai jaise maine pakka hi koi accha kaam kiya hoga pichle janam mein jo aap mil gaye. Aapne kabhi mujhe chodne ke baare mein socha bhi nahi.
Sachin- I don't know punar janam hota hai ki nahi lekin agar hota hai toh tum hi meri partner bano yehi main pray karta hu.
Purvi- main bhi. Aapke jagah koi aur hota toh shayad kabka chod deta mujhe.
Sachin- nahi. Tumhare jagah koi aur hoti toh mere past to accept karke mujhse shaadi hi nahi karti.
Purvi- I am so proud of us.
Sachin- me too. And I love you.
Purvi- I love you too Babu.
They smiled and hugged each other tightly.
Purvi- chale? Bacche wait kar rahe honge.
Sachin- haan, chalo.
They walked out and everyone was waiting on them. YaNit looked at them and Nitya was getting emotional so Yash was confused.
Yash- kya hua tumhe?
Nitya- look at them. Dekhte dekhte umar kya se kya ho gayi.
Yash- I know lekin tum khud ko bhi dekh lo. Tum bhi 70 hone wali ho.
Nitya- I know main budhi ho gayi hu aur bekaar dikhti hu.
He gave her an irritated look and she smiled.
Yash- kitni baar kaha hai aisi baatein mat karo. Tum aaj bhi utni hi khubsoorat ho jitni pehle thi. Aur sach kahu toh pehle se bhi zyada.
Nitya- I know aap aise hi bol rahe hain but thank you. Lekin haan, aap pehle se bhi zyada handsome ho gaye hain. Safed baal bahut suit karti hain.
Yash- accha ji?
Nitya- aur nahi toh kya? Mujhe toh dar lagta hai ki kahin koi aapke piche na lag jaaye. Iss umar mein dhoka nahi seh paaungi.
Yash- phir se bakwas karne lag gayi tum? Tumhe sach mein lagta hai main kisi aur ke upar dhyan bhi dunga?
Nitya- accha baba sorry. I was just saying.
Yash- aage se mere pyaar pe kabhi shak mat karna.
Nitya- okay babe!
Yash blushed and Nitya smiled. Saanvi and Pranav had a presentation ready showing SachVi's journey and they were watching their wedding video where Sachin was giving out his unexpected speech. Purvi looked at her husband and held his hand. Sachin saw her eyes filled with tears recalling all those memories so he smiled and wrapped his arm around her shoulder. The presentation continued and everyone were smiling. Saanvi and Pranav were so proud of their parents.
Saanvi- thank you everyone for coming! As you already know aaj mere parents ka 45th anniversary hai.
Pranav- aur humne socha ki they deserve this. Aise kitne bacche hain jinke ghar pe toxic parents hain aur woh kuch kar bhi nahi paate. Lekin humne aaj tak apne parents ko loudly shout karte nahi dekha ek dusre pe.
Saanvi- that's right. Sach mein lagta hai ki pyaar karna hai toh mere Mommy aur Papa ke kaise karo varna karo hi mat.
SachVi looked at each other and smiled.
Saanvi- We are so proud of you Mommy Papa.
Pranav- We truly are. I know life mein mushkil waqt aati hain lekin aap dono ne kabhi humein woh mushkil pal mehsus hone diya hi nahi. Thank you for everything!
They hugged their parents and people were clapping.
Purvi- aaj Maa aur Papa ki bahut yaad aa rahi hai. Humein toh kuch aata hi nahi tha. Unn dono ne humein hamesha sahi aur galat ka farak samjhaya.
Sachin- Mere Papa ek mahan purush the. Sach kahu toh aisa insaan maine ek tak dekha hi nahi. Aur meri Maa, itna saaf tha unka dil ki kabhi kisi ke burai dikhti hi nahi thi unhe. Bure mein bhi accha dhund hi leti thi.
Nitya started sobbing missing her parents and Yash wrapped his arm around her shoulder.
Purvi- Aaj humare bacchon ko jo sanskaar mile hain woh sirf humse nahi aaye. Maa aur Papa ka bhi bahut important role hai.
Purvi looked at Nitya and smiled.
Purvi- tum waha kya kar rahi ho Nitya? Yaha aao.
Nitya wiped her tears and walked to Purvi. Sachin looked at Nitya and smiled.
Purvi- and let's not forget humari Nitya. Yeh nahi hoti toh life badi hard ho jaati.
Nitya- maine kuch nahi kiya hai.
Sachin- kaise nahi kiya? Itna toh karti hai hamesha.
Saanvi- mujhe yaad hai Bua, aap Yug aur Niti ke saath aati thi aur woh har kaam karti thi jo Mommy humare liye karti hain.
Pranav- sahi hai. Aur Bua hi nahi, Phupha ji bhi kuch na kuch aisa karte the ki agar mood off bhi hota toh hasi aa jaati thi.
Yash smiled at Pranav.
Saanvi- main doctor bani hu toh Bua ke wajah se. Aap itni smart hain ki every time I look at you, I feel like aapko doctor banna chahiye tha. But I know uss time nurse banna bhi bahut badi baat thi especially when we are from middle class family.
Nitya- I am really proud of you Saanvi. Pata hai jab tu choti thi na, tab sab bolte the ki tu mere jaisi dikhti hai aur mujhe lagta hai ki kuch bhi bolte hain. Lekin ab mujhe sach mein tujh mein apni chavi dikhti hai.
Pranav- doctor banna kaunsi badi baat thi yaar? Mujhe dekho main CID ka senior officer hu.
Everyone laughed and Pranav looked at SachVi and Yash.
Pranav- I know doctor banna koi maamuli baat nahi hai. Lekin mujhe toh shuru se hi CID mein kaam karna tha. Jab bhi Mommy Papa ko dekhta tha, bahut proud feel hota tha ki mere parents CID officers hain. Aur phir phupha ji bhi aate the toh unka woh inspector wala look dekh kar lagta tha ki haan, mujhe bhi yehi karna hai.
Yash smiled hard and Nitya looked at him. Saanvi and Pranav were talking about all the things and SachVi were proud parents. Years passed and SachVi passed away but their love for each other remined alive.
