To enact their plan, the girls would need some help. A Chessy type, a nosy, eager to get their parents together, a person who got all emotional and grinned like a Cheshire Cat at the thought of Olivia and Elliot together. So step one? Enlist Odafin Tutuola. Olivia's best friend, her ride her die, her I'll watch your back and not your backside. Jet left that detail to Grace since she knew the man better.

So, that morning, October 11, 2022, Grace brought Fin a dozen jelly donuts and placed them directly on his desk, causing him to look up and grin.

"A pleasure doing business with you I assume. How can I help and what do you need?"

"Can we talk privately?" Grace's eyes darted nervously towards the captain's office, pointing to the conference room down the hall. "Please?"

Fin nodded, curious, and followed her to the conference room, taking a seat. "Tell me everything."

Grace paced nervously; there was a lot riding on his reaction. If they wanted their plan to work they'd need his help.

"The thing is Fin…I'm adopted. I'm a twin, and our parents gave us up at birth. I um..my sister found me, recently. She's a tech whiz, she found out all about our parents, who they were…who they are."

Fin gaped up at her but nodded, listening intently.

"My mother is Captain Olivia Benson."

Fin's eyes widened comically, pointing uselessly in the general direction of Liv's closed office door.

My father…is Detective Elliot Stabler.

For a moment, the room was so quiet you could hear a pin drop. And then…and then Fin screamed. Actually, literally, screamed. "I KNEW IT!"

Unfortunately, he yelled so loud that Olivia came striding in from her office.

"Fin, what in the world is going on?!" She looked back and forth between him and Muncy, utterly confused.

He looked blankly at her, jaw agape, Grace quickly jumping in.

"I'm sorry Captain. I just surprised him, it won't happen again.

Liv frowned. "Okay…" She looked back and forth between her detectives before deciding she didn't really want to know and walked back to her office.

Fin stared at Muncy, finally closing his jaw and looking at her with something akin to tears in his eyes.

He cleared his suddenly scratchy throat before speaking again. "Count me in. we'll get those two idiots back together if it's the last thing I do. Besides, I have a bet to win. Call Slootmaekers. Have her finagle an excuse to get baldy over here. I'll take care of the rest."
