Here is Chapter 2! I got some good Experience writing a battle and more of a lime scene like I said before i will list the pokemon teams before every chapter:

Chapter 2: Caves Ahoy!
Buneary, The Rabbit Pokemon. It slams foes by sharply uncoiling its rolled ears. It stings enough to make a grown-up cry in pain.
Buneary is Female, and has the ability Limber,
The Pokémon is protected from paralysis.
Known Moves: Pound, Defense Curl, Baby-Doll Eyes

I still can't believe it's been a day since my first pokemon capture which was apparently shiny! When I ran into Ashley in the cafeteria I told her the whole experience and she acted like it was the most crazy story evry as she sat on the literal edge of her seat.
"Ohhh that's awesome Dawn! I'm so happy for you. I'm also happy Buneary is going to be okay." My gosh Ashley smile is radiant and bright. No wonder most people trust and become friends with her so quickly.
"Yeah me too. I was so worried but Nurse Joy said she will be good tomorrow morning so we can hit the road for Oreburgh and then train for the gym once we get there!" I was excited to partake in my first gym. Even my first battle really but I wanted to make sure I was here for Buneary if she needed me.
Once we finished our food we split up and both went to bed. I instantly clocked out from the day's events and woke up and got dressed in normal Dawn apparel. I'm not gonna lie, skirts are growing on me. They are really comfortable and are nice and breezy.
I might have to reconsider my outfit later on. I'll probably pull an Ashley and just change for every region it makes sense for time and for packing.
Once I got downstairs I saw Nurse Joy with an excited Buneary sitting on the counter waving me over. Before I had a chance to say hi. Buneary hopped up onto my head and hugged me. "Buneary Bun!"
"I miss you too Buneary once I talk to Nurse Joy and we meet with my friend and we're gonna hit the road!" I said as I patted her head. She stayed hangin on and seemed comfortable so I left her up there. She's pretty light anyways.
"You two are so cute together." Nurse Joy giggles, making me blush. "Buneary here should be good to go, me and Blissey were able to reverse all the neglect and Blissey got her up to a healthy weight though multiple heal pulse sessions over the night."
"You hear that Buneary were fighting fit now." I said while flexing my arm and the adorable bunny matched me. "Thank You Nurse Joy, is there anything I need to know for her recovery?"
"She might be a little more clingy but physically she is fine. Try to keep her out of her ball so she knows you're not going anywhere and you should be good!" She said as she patted Buneary on my head.
As we finished up our conversation Ashley and Pikachu came downstairs and we went into the cafeteria to eat up and we left for Oreburgh
It would take a bit to get out of the city but then we should be on a pretty straight path on the way to the gym.
"So have you named Buneary like Trident yet?" Ashley asked as we walked down the street.
"No, I didn't thank you for reminding me Ashley. Buneary would you like a nickname?" I asked, looking at the pink fluffball humming happily on my head.
"Bun!"
"Well taking that as a yes. How about Rose? It matches your pink fur color really well and it's a pretty name for you." Buneary kinda looked at her ear for a bit probably looking at her color before hugging my head and confirming she liked the name.
"Well Ashley meet my awesome new teammate Rose!" I said as I did a wonder woman pose that Buneary matched on my head.
Ashley and Pikachu looked serious for about half a second before breaking out into giggles. "You two are dorks. Like worse than I was when I was a Rookie."
I walked closer up to Ashley and put my arm around her side and lay my head on her open shoulder and gave her my best buneary eyes. "But were your dorks right?" Buneary also copied my eyes making me think she secretly knows copycat.
Ashley grew a big blush and stuttered a bit before I let go of her and walked ahead for a bit. I swayed my hips a bit more as we walked ahead and when Ashley caught up she was more on Atomic Red side so I decided I won the battle for today and kept with some small talk.
Ashley talked about her other pokemon and journeys she's had from Kanto-Hoenn before coming to the sinnoh region. Even though I knew most of the information I was happy to hear she got Jessie and James arrested in Hoenn so we don't have to worry about them at all.
She told me she can't wait to show me Professor Oak's ranch once the season is over so I can see where my teammates will be when I travel more. I told her I was also excited to meet her teammates and we will have to have a party with all our pokemon after the season is over.
As we finished up the rest of the ranch talk. One of my biggest milestones as a trainer finally happened. "Hey blue hair hottie wanna have a battle?" This guy is so lucky that I'm excited to have my first battle or I would hit him in the junk for that comment.
"Sure is a 1v1 fine? I haven't had time to train with my Buneary at all yet." The guy nodded as he pulled out a pokeball and tossed it out into the field. I unclipped Tridents ball and did the same and once the glows faded for our first battle.
Trident looked pumped to be facing off against Geodude and was ready to battle.
"Alright Trident this will be good practice for the Gym. Remember he's a Rock type so try not to hit him physically and be evasive with water gun." Trident gave me a raised wing.
"Alright Geodude, use rollout!" Geodude tucked his arms in and started spinning in the dirt fast before launching towards Trident.
"Trident try to slow it down with water gun and then dodge!" Trident quickly followed my call and shot a pressurized water stream from his beak that impacted Geodudes rolling form.
It barely slowed him down but it was enough time for Trident to leap to the side as the Geodude rocketed by. "Geodude, turn around and use rock throw!" Sadly with Trident still getting up from dodging the rollout Geodude had enough time to turn and nail Trident with a rock.
"You got this Trident turn and use water gun!" Trident was quick back on his feet and nailed the Geodude once again with water gun and launched him back to a nearby tree. Before his trainer could call out another move we both noticed the swirls in Geodudes' eyes.
"Yes we did it, Trident!" I ran over and picked up Trident and gave him the good head pats which he appreciated.
The other trainer quickly recalled his Geodude and I felt my pokedex buzz as I also recalled Trident.
"It was a good battle. Sadly the x4 weakness was too much for Geodude. If you ever want to train together in the future we should trade email." The guy said as he gave me a wink and an attempt at a flirty grin.
"Thanks and sorry but I'm only attracted to women." I said as I gave Ashley a wink which made her blush again. Me 2 and Ashely 0. Being older mentally helps with that but atleast by her reaction I can guess she is also the same.
The guy now embarrassed about the rejection gave his farewell and continued on towards Jubilife. Sadly it was a quick win but these lower level battles don't usually go long especially when I had the advantage like that.
As we continued down the path I checked my pokedex and saw I won 50$ from the battle. Being a sponsored trainer from a renowned Professor like Professor Rowan gives me some benefits of a monthly stipend but any extra earnings are nice as well.
Sadly along the rest of the way to Oreburgh we only saw one other trainer and Ashely quickly took out his Kricketot with Starly. When we found a nice clearing along the way we decided to stop and get some training in and then get to Oreburgh tomorrow.
We first setup camp and with it only being the two of us we just set up one tent for us to share. We also quickly made a safe fire pit for later when we made dinner. Once everything was split up we started our training.
First step for me was to get Trident working on peck and then work on Bubblebeam if he gets Peck right away. Since there are no Levels or anything we can start working on moves within their power range much easier than game logic.
Once I had Trident going. I had Rose all of her abilities and she had a decent use of all of them. So i told her to work on turning The energy from Pound into Quick attack and then to practice her kicking so she can learn Double Kick.
I figure when she learns Quick Attack it should increase her leg strength to where Double Kick is much easier to learn. About halfway through training I hear a notification from my Pokedex.
Piplup has learned Peck.
Well that's good to know. Makes it easier to tell when a move is battle ready if the pokedex can tell if it's a learned move. I left Rose to go check on Trident and saw his beak extend with white energy and attack a nearby tree leaving decent puncture wounds in the bark.
"Good job Trident! Start working on Bubblebeam next okay. I think you got a good enough grasp for when we need that move for the grass gym. We will need Bubblebeam though for Roark so try to get a constant stream of bubbles and then we can work on spreading them out more." Trident gave me a salute and turned back towards the tree and shot a single slow bubble at it.
Well at least he got a bubble to form and he already learned Peck so he is making good progress. While my pokemon were training i figured i would check on Ashley and see how she trains her pokemon in this world.
What I didn't expect to see was a third pokemon with her that was getting healed with a potion. "Oh Dawn. Meet our new teammate Turtwig! He saw us training and challenged me to a battle to be on my team."
The small grass turtle gave me a slight wave with his paw that wasn't occupied by Ashely. I gave him a wave back. Looking away I watched Starly practice using Aerial Ace from the looks of it against one tree the other way. Pikachu was also practicing his Iron Tail and was running and dashing through the trees working on his agility.
"Alright, I'm gonna start on some dinner making Curry. Does that work for you Ashley?" She gave me a quick yep, and I returned to my pokemon to see them still at work. After telling them I will be working on dinner I got back to our camp setup and got everything ready.
I got the pot full of water filled by Trident earlier over the fire I started and got to work. Good thing I played a lot of sword and shield. I can make most currys after my curiosity into why that was the food of choice for the game.
After 30 minutes or so dinner was done and I called back to everyone and checked my pokedex looking to see if Trident or Rose finished any other moves.
Buneary has learned Quick Attack.
Perfect. Rose's first step towards double kick is complete and we got her a high mobility move as well. She even showed up first after the call in a white sheen of normal type energy.
Once everyone was back me and Ashley filled their bowls with poke food and covered it in the curry mixture. Then once we were done we dished ourselves up and talked about what we were training our pokemon.
Ashley says that Starly looks like he could evolve at any day now going off his progress. He was showing the same signs as her other flying types did before they evolved.
I was excited for her and excited for myself too, because I bet seeing a pokemon evolution in person compared through a screen looks way better. She still thinks it may be a couple days or a week but that's not far considering she just got Starly.
After we were done talking we cleaned up and got ready for bed. We are sharing a two person tent with Pikachu as well. Due to size our sleeping bags are together and Ashely said pikachu sleeps in her bag with her. So after taking turns inside the tent to change clothes we were ready for bed.
Ashley was dressed in long pajama pants and a cut tank top with a Pikachu on it that I gave her a slight tease for. Once I was done changing I went and used the restroom before bed and enacted flirting plan number 3!
I made sure to go in last while talking to Ashley so she was focused on me while I faked struggling to close the tent. It made her look at me bent over in my pajama shorts that make my ass look great. I only know that from some personal experience.

Next Day
After a quick breakfast and some changing of the clothes. We easily cleaned up camp with just the one tent and some sleeping bags put away and we were off.
We were only about a 15 minute walk away from the cave that takes you to Oreburgh. With it still being early we only ran into wild pokemon and took turns battling the ones that approached us.
I got some good practice with Rose against a Shinx and then a Zubat that was being rowdy once we entered the cave. Most battles with wild pokemon have been fairly quick and I wonder if it becomes more difficult later on or not.
After walking through the league lit cave for ela few hours we finally see some sunlight break through the end of the tunnel. After some excited noises from Pikachu we ran outside and were blinded by the sunlight after being in the dark cave.
Once my eyes adjusted I got to see what I always assumed a mining town looked like. Oreburgh was on the smaller side for gym towns, but it had character. Besides what looks like a town square with all the shops and poke center. We could see all the mining equipment and lowered area from even this far away.
You could also see a lot of friendly Rock type pokemon hanging around their owners or sleeping to the side of the pathways. Overall it seemed like a friendly area and seemed like a good spot for a first gym to be.
First step we did was to go to the pokemon center and book some rooms. Sadly we had to share a room since it was busy and the season just started. What was a stroke of luck for me though was they only had a queen size bed left. After talking to Ashley who blushed a little. We decided to share the bed.
We also had Nurse Joy take our pokemon in for checkups and make sure everything was okay. She also asked if we registered for the league yet which me and Ashley both embarrassed admitted that we haven't.
She got us registered and then gave us matching Wide Octagonal Dark Blue badge cases with the sinnoh league symbol on top. Then on the inside there were spots for each badge surrounding a pokeball symbol in the center.
Thanking her for the help she also mentioned the town's yearly Fossil hunt was going down today at the quarry between 2-6. Excitedly we both decided to go and had a few hours to put our stuff in our room. Get a bite to eat and then grab our pokemon and go.
Once we made it to the quarry you could see all the trainers around talking excitedly waiting for the event to start. You could also see some towns folk watching from the sides who appeared to be here for the energy of the event but not to participate.
Once the clock on my pokedex hit 1:50 you could see someone on a nearby makeshift stage tap on the mic and get everyone's attention.
The man stood about 5'10 with medium to long length auburn hair under an orange safety helmet. He also had some mining fatigues on and some heavy duty black boots. On his waist was a pokebelt with 8 pokeballs attached.
"Hello everyone, for those of you joining us today that aren't from around here my name is Roark. I am the gym leader of Oreburgh city and we host this event every year in hopes of finding more fossils for the lab to study and use their equipment on.
Now here are the rules: You are only allowed one pokemon out for self protection against mainly the zubats in the cave. If you find a fossil please call out to a local event helper and they will help you safely remove it from the wall. Besides that be respectful and if anyone argues finding something first we will call in a psychic type to sort it out.
If you are found to be lying about finding it first you will be banned from this event in the future and fined 1000 poke dollars.
Just a reminder it's only one fossil per trainer if they are found and the lab will take your name and fossil to this station next to the stand. Then after three days you can come by the lab in the museum and get your new friend. Are there any questions?"
Everything seemed straightforward and was a cool way of getting more information and having some fun with the community and any trainers coming by. It was a really great idea. There were a few questions about if someone finds an evolutionary stone or item but it was the same rules as a fossil. Call for help so you can get it safely and first come first serve.
After getting our safety helmets, carrying bags and pickaxes. I let Rose out to help me try to find a new friend. Me and Ashley decided to split up so we could cover more ground that way and not worry about arguing over anything.
I was afraid of fatigue from using a pick axe but I forgot this was in the pokemon anime where people carry 50 lb pokemon like it's no problem. After about 3 hours in the mining cave I haven't found jack squat.
Rose got some battling in with local Zubat and even one Geodude who looked angry about the noise but she quickly took care of them and even surprised me with Geodude when she learned Double Kick mid battle.
Buneary has learned Double Kick.
It was a welcome surprise and gave us some extra time to finesse it tomorrow while we trained for the gym.
What was even more surprising when Rose kicked Geodude into a nearby wall we saw a glint of silver start peaking through. I quickly yelled for a nearby helper and one came swiftly as I pointed out the silber object.
He quickly brought out a Golem from a pokeball who used what looked like a sand tomb since it wasn't a fossil and turned all the rock around the item into sand. Once the item fell with the sand I nearly screamed at what fell on the floor.
I don't know how much Metal Coats are but I'm super happy to find one! I see my future Scizor or Steelix within my grasp now. After the helper congratulated me he went off to another call he heard nearby.
The metal coat was pretty small and fit in a bag they gave us at the entrance no problem so I continued on my search hoping to make another find.
With a 30 minute warning called out I thought I was gonna be out of luck and looked down one more path before I started heading back. It was pretty small but I saw some loose wall nearby that looked weird and hit it with my pick axe.
Once I got a good hit on the part of the wall that started crumbling and once everything settled I saw a different textured rock inside some of the fallen debri. Picking up the tan shaped rock I saw the smooth egg shape on it with a lump going across the bottom width separating the egg perfectly.
This time I let out a happy scream. I just found an armor fossil! As much as I love Cranidos I really wanted a Bastiodon for my steel specialist dreams. Since I got it out cleanly I didn't need to call anyone. I safely put it in the carrying bag and made my way back outside.
I happily talked to Rose about our new teammate in the making as we traversed back up the mine. As we got outside there were a lot more dissatisfied people than I thought. When I saw Ashley I asked what's with the gloom mood. She said not many people found anything and she was one of them.
I gave her a little grin and opened my bag to show her my lucky finds. She gasped as she saw the Metal Coat and Fossil safely tucked away. "That's awesome Dawn! I remember when Brock was looking for a metal coat it took him ages for his Steelix."
"I know I'm super excited. I always wanted a Steelix or Scizor, but what I'm more excited for is to see if this fossil will be able to make a Bastiodon." I said excitedly and day dreamed of my tank setup monster in the making.
"Let's go to the booth and find out." Ashley grabbed my hand excitedly and took me over to the booth. Me 3 and Ashley 1. I couldn't hide my goofy smile at all. I'm in too much of a good mood!
Once we got to the table I saw some spark of excitement in the scientist's eyes as I pulled out my Armor fossil from the bag. As I handed it over to him it was like a kid with a new toy. He took a magnifying glass to it and then measured the dimensions of the egg looking protrusion. Even one sharp whistle when he finished
"Right here miss is an A grade fossil. In terms of quality you got one just below S which is near perfect. We should easily get a good Shieldon out of this, congratulations!" He said as me and Ashley hugged each other and did a little squeal in happiness.
I don't think I ever did something so girly in my life, but being able to feel Ashleys arms around me even if we were grossly covered in cave dust was worth it!
"Fill out this form real quick and let me get your trainer information and we will have your new pokemon in a few days." I quickly filled out the form which was handing over the rights to resurrect the pokemon at their lab. It also had contact info and basic stuff like that.
"Alright we're all good to go. Go get some food and a hot shower. You look like you could use it." I felt slightly offended until my stomach growled loudly and I looked down at my cave dust covered self and could only agree with the guy.
Me and Ashley quickly made it back to the poke center and got some hot showers in before making it to the cafeteria just before closing. Ashely talked about her luck at not finding anything and gave up after the three hour mark where my luck turned.
Ashley asked around and apparently the mine is only open to the public for this kind of event twice a year. They want to make sure any disturbances from the previous event are good and no cave-ins will happen so they can maximize safety.
Throughout her stories and dinner she gave me some weird looks but I wrote them off as my hair probably being bad from the quick shower. Once we were back in the room Rose went back to her ball to catch some shut eye while I made some room in my bag for the Metal Coat and Ashley got changed in the bathroom.
Pikachu hung out on the bed and watched me as I fit the thermos sized metal coat in my bag. Me and Pikachu get along pretty well and he sometimes sits in my lap when I don't have any of my pokemon out.
I've asked him a couple times why he sits with me and not Ashley but he doesn't give me a response. Ashley thinks he just likes being close to everyone she travels with so he can find us easier if seperated.
Apparently he did the same thing with Misty and May but I asked if he did it with Brock. Ashely mentioned he did it a lot when they first traveled but considering Brock was always around he probably memorized his scent easier. Which made sense since Brock never left like Misty did.
Now that I'm thinking about it, this is the last season Brock travels with Ash in the anime. I wonder if it's because this is a different universe or if me showing up had anything to do with that.
Honestly without Jessie and James coming at Ashley anymore it shouldn't really be a big deal at all. We have yet to see Team Galactic but I'm sure we can handle it since I will have a stronger team than Dawn did and Brock didn't have many pokemon on him.
I decided to worry about it another time as I finished packing. Once Ashley came out in her pajamas again I went and changed into my own pajamas and came back to seeing Ashley on her pokedex not paying attention while she petted Pikachu who was sleeping to her right.
I decided to be the teenager I am and dove onto the bed and made Ashley and Pikachu jump scared from the action. Laughing from their slight terror I got under the covers after plugging my pokedex in to charge.
I laid on my side facing Ashley as she finished what she was doing and laid down herself. She faced me in bed while Pikachu slept on a pillow behind her. "I'm glad you're traveling with me Dawn. It's been fun so far and you're a great friend."
It was so sincere I almost awed out loud. Deciding to be risky I scooted as close to her as I could and hugged her with my head underneath her chin. "I think you're a great friend too." I said into her chest just loud enough for her to hear.
