Donut Friendship – Chapter 15: Operation - Rescue Nezuko
One day, Nezuko was on her way home from the academy. She usually walked with her friends, but today, everyone was busy, so she went alone. On her way, she noticed something odd. On one of the buildings was a new sign that she has never seen before.
"FREE CANDY." said the sign and pointed towards a dark alleyway
"HUH! This must be one of the signs my mother warned me about!" Nezuko gasped and thought to herself
Shocked, Nezuko turned around and walked away…
"But what if… there really is was some free candy…" she thought to herself as she glanced at it again
Unsure of what to do, Nezuko thought about her options.
"I know that I shouldn't go there… but… I want to check it out… just to make sure…" she thought to herself
Standing in front of the sign and the dark alleyway, Nezuko made up her mind.
"I know! I will go check it out to make sure that it's safe! I don't want any poor kid getting hurt, just because I didn't investigate it!" Nezuko thought to herself and smiled
Walking into the dark alleyway, Nezuko's smile slowly disappeared.
"Uhm… hello? I am here for the free candy… I MEAN, I am here to make sure that it's safe!" said Nezuko
There was no response and Nezuko became scared.
"Ok… I am leaving…" she said and turned around, but…
…
PLUFF*
"AH! What is this!?" Nezuko yelled as a huge net fell down on her, capturing her
"IGHHHH!" Nezuko struggled as she tried to get out, but all of her attempts were useless
Nezuko was on the verge of crying, but she heard a voice.
"Hahaha… long time no see!" said a voice
"Huh…?" Nezuko mumbled as she recognized that voice

Back at the academy, most students had already left, but some were still at the academy. One of them, was Zenitsu Agatsuma, the disciplinary officer. He was in the same class as Tanjiro, and he was a good friend of both Tanjiro and Nezuko.
"Ugh… Why did I ever volunteer for this job… Even though I can check the uniforms of all the girls, I still have to stay after school and check all the classrooms too… This is so annoying…" Zenitsu mumbled to himself as he checked the classrooms and made notes
As he was about to finish the last classroom, he suddenly heard a voice… or rather, a scream.
"ZENITSU! ZENITSU!"
"Huh?" Zenitsu mumbled as he turned around
"ZENITSU!" screamed Tanjiro, as he was running full speed towards Zenitsu
"Ah… Tanjiro? What is it?" Zenitsu asked
"ZENITSU! I NEED YOUR HELP!" Tanjiro yelled
"What? I just finished with my stupid duties as disciplinary officer… I want to go home now." Zenitsu replied annoyed
"BUT ZENITSU! NEZUKO GOT KIDNAPPED!" Tanjiro yelled again
"…" Zenitsu just stared at him, trying to process the words he just heard
"…"
"…"
"… the fuck you say?" Zenitsu mumbled as he still tried to process Tanjiro's words
"IT'S TRUE! LOOK! I GOT THIS MESSAGE TODAY!" Tanjiro screamed again and showed Zenitsu a piece of paper
The piece of paper read:
HAHAHA, I HAVE YOUR STUPID SISTER! IF YOU WANT TO SEE HER EVER AGAIN, COME TO THE DARK ALLEYWAY THAT'S ON THE KIMETSU STREET, AND BRING THE SECRET RECIPE FOR YOUR DONUTS! HAHAHA!
Zenitsu just stared at the piece of paper, still trying to process the situation.
"Zenitsu! We need to do something!" Tanjiro yelled
Still trying to process the whole situation, Zenitsu just smiled and put a hand on Tanjiro's shoulder.
"Tanjiro! My good friend! I really like you! I do! But if you play these terrible pranks on me, then I am not going to like you so much! There is no way my sweet cute Nezuko got kidnapped! There is no way that is possible! Hahaha! Because if that was possible, then I would be very sad and NEZUKO GOT KIDNAPPED! WHAT THE HELL ARE WE GOING TO DO! WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO! WHAT THE HELL! Zenitsu screamed and panicked
"I KNOW! But we need to calm down and think!" Tanjiro screamed too
"NEZUKO! NEZUKO! NEZUKO!" Zenitsu screamed
"Zenitsu! I need your help! I already have the secret recipe, but I need someone to go with me and assist me in case things go horrible wrong!" said Tanjiro
"OK! OK! Got it! We can do this! We must save Nezuko!" Zenitsu replied as he somewhat calmed down
"…"
"…"
"…sounds interesting. I go with you." said a voice
Both Tanjiro and Zenitsu slowly turned around
"Hey." said Rui, as he was standing behind the two
"R-Rui! You will help us?" Tanjiro asked happily
"Who is that guy?" Zenitsu asked confused
"Oh, that is Rui Ayaki! He is one of Nezuko's friends, and he also visits our bakery very often!"
"Yes. Anyway, I heard you two scream, and saving Nezuko sounds like a good way to kill some time." Rui replied
"Thank you so much Rui! But, it might be dangerous! Are you sure you want to come along?" Tanjiro asked
"Yes, it's going to be fun. So let's go." Rui replied
"…"
"…"
"… this guy…" Zenitsu mumbled
"Alright, let's go!" said Tanjiro

Back in the dark alleyway, Nezuko was trapped in a huge cage.
"Where do you get things like this?" Nezuko asked as she was trapped in a huge cage
"Girl! These days, you can get everything online!" the person responded
"Why are you doing this? This is… pretty evil." Nezuko asked
"Hahaha… I have my reasons!" the person responded again
As Nezuko was trapped in the cage, footsteps could be heard.
"We're here! Where is she?!" yelled Tanjiro
"Ah… so you finally came! And you even brought some friends with you!" said the person
"Huh! Tanjiro! Rui! And even Zenitsu! You guys came to rescue me?!" Nezuko gasped and smiled
"Of course!" replied Tanjiro
"Yep." said Rui
"…why do you say even Zenitsu…? You should say even Rui because…WHATEVER!" yelled Zenitsu
"It's over now, release her! You stupid… CON-ARTIST!" yelled Tanjiro, and pointed a finger at the guy
"Long time no see! Hahaha!" said Doma with a smile
"Hello." said Rui as he saw Doma
"Hey little Rui! How is it going?" asked Doma, to which both Tanjiro and Zenitsu stared at Rui
"You two know each other?" Tanjiro asked
"Yes. We both got recently hired by an evil politician." Rui explained
"Yep! Anyway, do you have it?" Doma asked with a smile
Tanjiro faced him and nodded. He pulled out an envelope and handed it to him.
"Yes! I got it! The secret recipe for the Kamado Donuts! Mister Muzan will be very happy with my performance!" Doma said with a big smile as he took the envelope
"You have the secret recipe! Now release Nezuko!" Tanjiro demanded
"Sure! The cage is open! Well, it was open the whole time!" said Doma
Hearing that, everyone looked at Nezuko, who was standing in the cage.
"Oh…" mumbled Nezuko as she pushed the door of the cage and realized that it was, indeed, open the whole time
"Anyway! I take my leave now! See you later! HAHAHA!" said Doma as he walked away with the envelope
Once he left, Nezuko ran over to the guys.
"Thank you so much for saving me! You guys are my heroes!" said Nezuko with a smile
"I am just glad that you're safe!" said Tanjiro
"Well… this was pretty anticlimactic." said Rui
"Anytime… You can rely on me, because I will always protect you, Nezuko!" said Zenitsu
"Oh… you were great too, Zenitsu. Thanks!" said Nezuko as she glanced at Zenitsu
"AM I NOT YOUR HERO?!" Zenitsu screamed as he got murdered by Nezuko's words

Somewhere else…
"Mister Muzan! I got it!" said Doma, as he handed Muzan the envelope, who was sitting behind his table
"Finally… the secret recipe…" said Muzan as he opened the envelope and pulled out a piece of paper
"Hahaha! You know, even thought I got hired just recently, I managed to complete this hard mission that even some of your best employees failed…" said Doma with a cocky smile, as he glanced at Kokushibo who was standing behind him
"I think I deserve a promotion for that, wouldn't you agree?" Doma asked with a smile as he faced Muzan again
"What is this." said Muzan with cold voice
"Huh? It's the secret recipe for the donuts! Why do you ask?" Doma asked with a smile
Muzan just stared at him and showed him the piece of paper… which said:
SECRET RECIPE: DONUTS + LOVE
…
Reading that, Doma's smile disappeared in an instant.
"Ohhhhh crap…" mumbled Doma
"Ha… amateur…" said Kokushibo, who was standing behind him, with a smile
