Chapter 9: More lab work...
We were up bright and early to get ready for our journey through Eterna Forest. It's one of the bigger intro forests in the world and can take anywhere from 1-2 weeks to get through. Luckily we aren't in a rush so we plan to take our time and train our teams up.
Once we had a quick breakfast and a doublecheck of some supplies we were off! It was really nice out and the weather was supposed to stay that way for the next month so we lucked out. Made the walk more relaxing as we walked through the shade of all the trees.
Pikachu and Aegis were running around ahead of us playing while we walked and fought off a few wild pokemon. Not like there is anything here to challenge Pikachu in any way. Aegis got some good practice though and I used the newly named Proton to get us some practice as well.
I figured with his electric background he would like the name Electron but Magnemite gave me an angry buzzing sound. I then gave him Proton and he did a little twirl at that name. It's still kind of hard to read the little guy's emotions. He fit in well with the team so far and seems to be enjoying all the new stuff around compared to that lab he was stuck at.
He got along best with Aegis. I don't know if that is due to typing or what but they get along really well for some reason. He also gets along with Rose but she seems to be my Social Butterfly of the team. Then there is Trident who is kind of the serious quiet leader that everyone respects.
Luckily I have had no problems with him after evolution but he has given me some attitude. I just threaten him with no battles or training and it gets him back in line quickly. I don't need an Ashley Charizard situation whatsoever.
Ashley's team has also gotten their stride and Buizel has been fitting in well. He spars against turtwig and chimchar a lot since they are around the same level. They all seem to enjoy it though and there are no hurt feelings over any losses. Probably helps when Pikachu keeps an eye on them as well.
"So is it normal for your starter to be like the team leader when you're not there?" I ask Ashley. They don't really show it in the show but the starter role gives that pokemon more responsibility than it appears.
"Well it depends on the team. Back with my Kanto team my Bulbasaur was kind of a mother hen so she took some of Pikachus responsibility. Kind of like how Rose seems to introduce everyone in the team and Trident keeps them in line.
With that said though if you ever get an Ace like my Charizard they get a little more freedom. I don't know if it's some pokemon instinctual thing but Pikachu and Charizard are like the pseudo leaders I notice when I'm at the ranch." Apparently pokemon have some pack dynamics and it's more noticeable if you're a specialist though. Ashley predicts that when I get my pokemon fully evolved one will lead into that Ace position.
"Interesting, have any of your pokemon fought Charizard for the Ace position?" I was curious if Snorlax or maybe Sceptile have attempted to fight Charizard for it at all. They seem like some lazy pokemon in their off time though so they might just go with the flow.
"My Snorlax tried at first but then he gave up after they fought for what felt like an hour. My only other pokemon who would even attempt is Sceptile but he's too naturally passive for that kind of thing and he would be at a major disadvantage. It's pretty rare to find pokemon at that level that get along so i'm happy that it is the case." Ashley gave a big sigh.
It would be a pain to have pokemon fight all the time for the spot. I'm sure type specialists that use dragon or fire would have that issue mainly. That's a lot of alpha pride in those typings that can be an issue. Thankfully I use steel types which are a more calm pokemon type compared to the rest anyways.
They are among the calmest with Water and Grass types. Only reason Trident is so moody is because he is in his middle stage right now. Pretty much a teenager going through angst. Luckily so far the only other pokemon I have with a stage 3 evolution is Proton and he won't be bad at all.
Rose and Aegis only evolve once so I will only have to deal with their initial evolution issues. Even then Lopunny and Bastiodon are not known for being aggressive so it shouldn't be bad at all. If anything they will probably be the easier bunch.
Now sadly I can't confirm with any future pokemon that I have not gotten yet. If anything Scizor might be my biggest worry or maybe Aggron. They are more of the feistier steel types.
Time Skip
It's been a few days through Eterna Forest so far and we haven't run into any big issues. We got some training done with our teams and made a decent chunk of the distance through the forest.
Weirdly while walking today I have had this bad gut feeling. Like something is going to go wrong at any moment. From what I remember from the games and show Eterna Forest is a pretty calm outing in both. But I just have this weird feeling of something off.
As we came up to a bend I felt this buzzing in my head that felt weird. Looking over to Ashley she didn't seem fazed by anything. Maybe I'm just getting a headache or something.
Walking a bit more ahead I notice Rose and Pikachu looking around as their ears perk up. Before they could even warn us we heard a big crash of a tree falling off to the distance followed by a scream from a girl.
Briefly glancing at Ashley we took off towards the direction of the crash. Running through the trees and bushes I was trying to be careful of any stray roots so I wouldn't trip. As we got closer we heard the girl screaming a bit more and a loud roar from a big pokemon.
Ashley ordered Pikachu to go ahead and he took off in a blitz of speed. I followed with an order to Rose to backup Pikachu and she followed after. I'm really thanking myself for taking the time to run and stretch with my team as they train. I would've been out of breath already in my old body.
It took us a few minutes but we broke through into a clearing of where all the noise was. Pikachu and Rose were fighting off what looked to be a crazed Ursaring. I could see some weird purple glow around the bear as it tried to fight off the two smaller combatants.
Looking over to the crashed tree in the field I gasped as I saw Zoe trying to get her foot out from under the tree. "Zoe!" I yelled as I ran over and slid down next to her. The look of relief as she saw us struck a chord in my chest.
"I'll take care of Ursaring while you get Zoe out." Ashley said as she released Staravia to help out the other two. I nodded quickly as I tried to move the tree but it was too heavy. I quickly called out Trident who saw the situation and almost took off to the crazed pokemon. "Get Zoe out first then you can go help. Try to use Metal Claw to cut the tree and then shove the rest off."
Thankfully Trident listened and used his new Metal Claw and hacked the tree off of Zoe. "Fuck." Zoe said as the weight came off and I could see her ankle swelling. Without thinking I ripped off a good portion of my shirt and used it to wrap her ankle in place with some nearby sticks.
"That should hold it. Trident go help them. I got this here." He quickly took off and rammed into Ursaring from behind with a peck.
"Thank god you two made it here. Glameow tried her best but got taken out so quickly. Misdreavus cant even hit the stupid thing either." Zoe whined in pain as I helped her stand up. Realizing that wasn't gonna work well, I helped her lean on the tree before swapping my backpack to my front and letting her hitch a ride on my back.
Once she was on my back I did my best to ignore her front pressed against my back as I got us some distance from the fight. I watched as Ashley commanded the pokemon and even did some callouts for Rose and Trident and I was happy they listened to her command even if i'm not there.
Ursaring looked really beat up and was slowly taken down before Staravia landed a strong Aerial Ace to his head knocking him out. Ashley threw a pokeball out and caught the thing before whipping out her pokedex and started tapping away. The ball disappeared quickly after.
She looked over as the pokemon followed behind her. "Glad you're okay Zoe. I sent Ursaring to Professor Oak so he and the authorities could check out the weird purple aura it had." We both breathed a sigh of release as I slowly sat Zoe down.
We decided to set up camp there for today. Then we took care of Zoe and the pokemons injuries and got Glameow and her new Shellos back up to snuff who was now cuddling with Zoe."Thank you Ashley and Dawn. I would have been a goner without you two." She gave us a sincere look as I saw the tears coming. I went over to her slowly and hugged her to my chest as I felt the water work stain my shirt.
I rubbed her back as she got it out and Ashley came over and sat on her other side and hugged her as well. We sat there for a bit till Zoe calmed down and told us what happened.
She was roaming the woods looking for a fourth teammate besides the Shellos she found on her way to the forest. She then ran into the Ursaring who then attempted to attack her. Glameow and Shellos fought it but both lost and Misdreavus didn't have any moves that could hit it so she ran.
She thought she lost it before the tree landed on her. She then thought she was done for before Pikachu blurred into Ursaring knocking him back with Iron Tail then Rose followed up with a Quick Kick.
I asked if she saw the purple aura but she said it looked like a normal Ursaring. I was confused and Ashley looked at it too before I realized why she couldn't see it. That Ursaring was a shadow pokemon! I did my best to hide my face of realization and neither Ashley or Zoe seemed to notice.
The Orre region going off the map is between Sinnoh and Unova. It was supposed to be based off of Arizona in my old world. But here it's a desert between areas of the two big Regions. I wonder if Pokemon Colosseum and Gale of Darkness XD are currently happening or what the timeline for that is compared to us.
Ashley let loose Staravia to check out for any weird buildings around us. "I'm guessing someone upset the Ursaring into a rampage. Staravia should be able to spot any buildings or weird camps if that's the case."
If Team Cipher or Snagem are here this could be a huge problem. What if there was no hero of Orre Region and they actually are now expanding out to the nearest regions. It's a bonus that me and Ashley can notice the shadow pokemon but if a trainer has one we won't be able to steal it easily like in the games.
Luckily either that Ursaring escaped from them or was a leftover one as the teams were taken out. Hopefully Professor Oak will be able to shed some light on the situation.
As we waited for Staravia to get back and Zoe calmed down we got some food going. I then got our tent setup and asked Zoe for her tent to set up before she blushed a bit. "Can I sleep with you two tonight?" I just nodded my head and asked for her sleeping bag instead and got it rolled out in our tent.
It will be a snug fit but without any pokemon out we should be fine. Staravia came back about the time dinner was done and relayed the information to Pikachu who then told Ashley.
Ashley sighed then groaned loudly as we ate. Me and Zoe both gave her a weird look. "Staravia found a weird building about a day's walk away from us. I was hoping for more peace but Lab Trainer duty calls again."
I also groaned because that means the teams could still be active. Zoe looked confused at us before we explained the glory of being sponsored by a Regional Professor. She said it makes sense since we got a lot of perks towards it and it was probably rare enough anyways.
We decided to go check it out tomorrow and messaged Professor Oak about our discovery as well. Zoe's ankle should be fine by then since Pokemon Potion works on humans as well. She said she would come along and watch outside for us to make sure no one snuck up behind once we were in the building.
Once the plan was set we enjoyed the night and talked some more around the fire. Zoe was really chill and had a great sense of humor that worked well with me and Ashley. Her pokemon also got along with ours and I had the slight idea after the forest to see if she wanted to stick around.
For one she was cool and it would be nice to have more people around. Two she was hot as fuck and I know she likes both me and Ashley. That's why I was glad she was sharing a tent with us. It meant she was comfortable with both of us like we are with her.
As we took turns changing in the tent. I crawled in last after Ashley. Zoe wore a tank top that was blank and some plaid pajama pants. She looked comfortable as she laid in her sleeping bag that was left zipped open so she wasn't stuck in a heater with all of us in the tent.
She gave us a quick blush of a smile as we then got in our bag with it zipped open as well. We both faced towards Zoe as I was pulled back towards Ashley's front.
After a round of good nights we all went to sleep peacefully in the night.
Next Morning
I felt so warm as I felt myself waking up from my dream land. Although I feel much more restricted than normally when I wake up. Also I was holding onto something but I could feel Ashley still holding onto me and her breath on my neck?
Opening my eyes to the morning light that barely seeped through the tent . The first thing I saw was an orange head of hair resting on my chest. I could feel Zoe breathing slowly on my chest. My arms were wrapped around her, hugging her close. We must have pulled into each other last night while sleeping.
She was almost in our sleeping bag but was mostly in her has our legs tangled in between. I decided to enjoy being in the hot girl sandwich as I closed my eyes and just held her close to me and relaxed into Ashley. The feeling of two soft and hot bodies on either side of me felt great in the morning.
Although now that i'm noticing it there are two hard things prodding me as well. Ashleys dick which I have become familiar with was squished into my ass like normal. What isn't normal was the second hard rod I felt on my stomach.
Looking down I see Zoe was tenting in her Pajamas and her crotch was up against mine and slightly into my stomach. Well I guess that answers what kind of female she is. Ashley confirmed with me that it's not extremely rare but only like 1 in 10 women have the extra appendage.

Now it will be harder with Zoe here and having to check out the base!
I pout mentally in horny defeat and just go back to enjoying the cuddle session. It was about 10 minutes later I felt Ashley wake up and kiss my neck sending shivers down my spine before she rested her head on my shoulder. I felt her body heat up some as she took in Zoe's position.
"Well I guess we won't have to worry about a strap on." She whispered into my ear making me whine at her stupid teasing. She just gave me a kiss on the cheek in retaliation and said to relax while she got up to make breakfast. Losing my warmth on my back I pulled the sleeping bag over me and Zoe. It felt nice being the big spoon but we all know little spoon for days.
I ran a hand through her short hair liking the feeling as I relaxed in the warmth. As I started to smell food being made outside Zoe woke up in my arms. She raised her head off my chest and looked confused before her eyes exploded open.
She panicked as she backed up before being stopped by the tent as we seperated. "I didn't think I was that uncomfortable." I teased in a fake pout. Zoe blushed deeply before stammering a bit and I laughed at her confusion.
"Ashley woke up while we were all cuddling and said it was fine." I lied a tad. I could feel Ashley get slightly harder and twitch when she discovered Zoe earlier. Liking what she was seeing most likely.
Zoe let out a big breath of relief then gave me a mock glare. "You let me get panicked for no reason!" She then tackled me, making me cry out. Not long after I was abused by Zoe tickling me making me shriek in laughter.
I barely heard Ashley open the tent back up before looking in. "Well good to know she is ticklish but breakfast is ready lazy butts." She said as she walked back out. "Hey you said to relax!" I yelled at her from under Zoe.
Zoe laughed at our bickering while still straddling me. I could feel her hard on still and definitely approved. "You know you have to take me out on a date first." Zoe looked confused before looking at our position then booked it out the tent to the sound of my laughter.
All I heard was "Stop teasing Zoe and come eat!" Which made me laugh harder. I held my tongue responding Yes Mommy though which is a win.
Time Skip
After a nice breakfast with the squad we started making our way to the facility. Staravia flew slightly ahead iver the trees so we knew where we were going. Zoe seemed much more physical now as we walked as well. She would bump shoulders with me or Ashley and seemed to be testing our response.
Me and Ashley took it in good nature and I could see Ashley checking Zoe out more as well. It didn't help that her ass and legs looked great in those tight jeans she wore.
After thinking with my horny mind it only took us a couple of hours to get to the facility. As we got closer Staravia flew in a quick circle before coming back to us. After being recalled we snuck up on the place and finally got our first look.
The place was barren and there was a turned over truck with some slash marks on them. The building front doors were also gone and it looked like the facility was empty of any team associations being there. With a quick good luck and wink from Zoe, Ashley and I approached the building.
We had to make sure it was all clear before wasting any forensic personal time to come check out the building. Going through the entrance you can tell the Ursaring came from here in the trail of destruction it left behind.
The entrance lobby had everything destroyed and there were papers thrown about but nothing extraordinary we could see. I let out Trident so he was at my side as we walked around just in case there were other pokemon. Checking out the elevator it looked fine and most of the damage was near a staircase on the other side of the room.
We followed the trail of destruction not knowing where the elevator went in the building and we didn't want to lose the main trail. The flight of stairs was fairly long till we hit the very bottom. There were no stops along the way for any other floors which was kind of weird. This must be an emergency escape in case there is no power then.
Going down the hallway that the stairs led to we saw more destruction. There was no noise from any humans nearby that we could hear so it must be abandoned. We stuck together and walked by a bunch of empty offices that didn't have anything of note as we did a quick sweep leaving the forensics for league personnel later.
Then we hit a hallway going left and right. "Ok I think we're safe here so let's split up to cover more ground and get out of here sooner." Agreeing, I gave her a quick kiss as me and Trident went to the right and Ashley with Pikachu went to the left.
As we continued searching, Trident and I walked through a bunch of empty rooms and areas. There were computers and machines everywhere that looked important but weren't currently on or doing anything. Going off the room labels we were in a testing area.
With how that Ursaring was I'm guessing this was where they tested the shadow pokemon. At the end of the hallway we ran into the first locked door. Going off the state of the place they left in a hurry so this must be a storage room of some kind.
Trident made quick work of the door with Metal Claw, but did just enough power to knock it down and not launch it across the room. We waited for a moment to make sure there would be no retaliation from anything before crossing the doorway.
The room was spacious and pretty barren besides a few things. There were some pokeballs on a shelf across the room and an egg sitting in an incubator. I quickly checked the incubator and confirmed that the egg was alive and well. Luckily the incubator was doing the work of pumping heat in still although the battery seems ¾ charged so they must have only lost power recently.
After making sure the egg was fine. I ordered Trident to go get a bag from an earlier room we passed so we could collect the pokeballs. Checking all of them, they were full and I didnt want to release any of them in case they were shadow pokemon.
Once Trident was back we packed them up and secured the bag on my shoulder as I carried the Incubator out. We walked back towards the meeting point much quicker without having to check anything. When we got back Ashley was already waiting holding another bag like I was.
"You found pokemon too huh?" I asked as I walked up to her.
"Yeah sadly I think these ones might be like the Ursaring who I'm guessing was in the broken pokeball I found." Ashley said as she held up the broken ball in her hand.
"Well I found some too with no broken pokeball and then this egg. Hopefully these are normal ones." Ashley came over and checked the egg inside the incubator. She has raised a Phanpy from an egg and was able to confirm that everything was fine and the egg was healthy.
We quickly made our way back outside and I called out to Zoe that everything was clear as Ashley got a hold of the league. Zoe came out and I explained everything we found while waiting on Ashley. Unlike last time, it took a few hours before we heard the noise of teleportation.
Standing next to two Alakazam was a small team of forensic people and two Officer Jennys. One Officer Jenny immediately took hold of the forensic team and led them into the lab while the other came over and questioned us.
Very basic questions about anything we found or anything that might have stood out. We explained how we fought the Ursaring and had Staravia find the base. Then our search through the base and our finds. She then took the bags of pokeballs and marked the broken one as the Ursarings.
She then sighs and looks at the egg in the incubator resting in my arms. "Sadly pokemon Eggs can't survive through teleportation. Would you be okay taking care of it till we get a hold of Professor Oak about what to do?"
Honestly I don't know how hard it is to take an egg but something was telling me not to let go of it. I gave her my best and Ashley said she could help take care of one before. Jenny gave us her thanks and said to contact Professor Oak next time they are in a pokecenter.
She then dismissed us after getting our Trainer IDs so that we would be paid for this as well. Sadly with little service that we do have email is about the extent we can do this far out. We haven't even seen our pay from the windworks yet.
"Is it always crazy like this for you guys?" Zoe asked as we walked back towards the main road. I only sighed and Ashley groaned at the question.
"Recently for me yes but Ashley is the true trouble magnet you should hear some of her stories." I responded as I rested my head on Ashley's shoulder.
"Yeah since day one I am always getting into weird situations. I thought since we captured the one team rocket team that bothered me it would be done but I guess I jinxed myself." Ashley pouted as she rested her head on my own.
"Well I think it's fun! I didn't do too much but it got the blood pumping. I haven't had anything this exciting in a while!" Zoe exclaimed. Looking over she looked like a vibrating body of energy. Her Glameow was even looking at her weirdly by her side.
"Well hopefully things calm down for a bit. We still need to get 7 badges before the conference starts and we have the first rotation this year!" Ashley complained, making me groan in reminder that were not even halfway through the circuit. Honestly the past few days have felt like ages with all this weird team shit.
"Well you two are great trainers so I don't think you have much to worry about. Honestly you might sweep the competition with how well you instruct your pokemon." Zoe complimented. It was nice to know it wasn't just Ashley saying I have done a good job so far. It's hard to tell if you're doing good as a trainer when there are some really bad ones out there, but then super good ones like champions that are shown so heavily.
"Thanks Zoe." I said sincerely as she brought me into a shoulder side hug. It felt nice and genuine. Looking over I could see Ashleys eyes dilate a little bit. Not even hiding her slight arousal at how close Zoe and I are. I gave her a wink and then turned and kissed Zoe on the cheek as we seperated.
Ashley licked her lips a bit and I continued to walk forward at a quicker pace. Leaving a lusty Ashley and embarrassed Zoe following. It's nice to be able to flirt with other girls and have my girlfriend be turned on by it. I like being flirty and it's fun to do. Knowing Ashley is attracted to Zoe as well makes it even better as well.
Once they caught up to me we chatted as we made some good distance before setting up camp. This time Zoe set up her own tent though. Which was probably a good call because when we went to bed that night. Ashley mauled my lips and groped me like no tomorrow.
Sadly we couldn't do more without Zoe knowing since i'm a little loud when going but it felt good all the same. I just can't wait till we're back to civilization.
