The next morning soon arrived.

The sun shone brightly, peaking in between Mark's navy-blue curtains.

His digital alarm clock that rested on his desk nearby had began to beep, and Mark quickly pressed down on it, turning the device off.

The Yeti then sat up and let out a big yawn, outstretching his arms.

"Okay, new day, Mark. Here we go.", thought Mark as he scratched his back.

Mark got up out of his bed, and went to the bathroom to brush his teeth. Once he was done, he walked over to the living room, where he saw his parents.

His mother, Maria (who was getting ready to go to work) was busy putting the rest of her office supplies in her bag. His father, Matt, was also dressed up in a suit, quietly eating a bowl of bran flakes.

In terms of physical appearance, both Matt and Maria were also Yetis, except they each had noticeable differences: Matt had a small scar on his nose, pale skin, somewhat unkempt fur, a 5 o' clock shadow, and was out of shape; while Maria had less sharp teeth than her son and husband, more vibrant skin, well-kept fur, as well as visible breasts (obviously).

They each spotted their son nearby.

"Hey, son!", greeted Matt.

"Good morning, sweetie!", greeted Maria.

Mark greeted back, "Morning, guys."

Maria said, "I didn't have time to make anything this morning, so there's some still some cereal boxes up in the cabinet."

Mark nodded and went over to the kitchen. The Yeti boy pulled out a black bowl from the cabinet above him. Then, he walked over to a larger cabinet, pulled out a box of All-Might-O's, and poured it into the bowl. Finally, he went into the fridge, grabbed a container of milk, opened it, and poured the milk into the cereal.

The Yeti boy closed the container, and placed it back in the fridge. He then grabbed a plastic spoon from a nearby cupholder, grabbed his cereal bowl, and walked back into the living room.

As Mark sat down and began eating, his father grabbed his now-empty bowl and got up.

"So, are you ready for your second day at U.A.?", Maria asked her son, as she was placing the last of her supplies in her bag.

"Mmm hmm!", Mark replied, who then swallowed his food, "I hope we do more hero stuff today, though."

"Yes, let's hope so!", agreed Matt, who was in the kitchen, washing his own cereal bowl out, "And let's hope that teacher of yours doesn't screw around with you this time!"

Mark shivered, remembering what happened at school yesterday. It wasn't a very fun experience having to explain to both of his parents about that event...

Maria smiled, "Well, Mark did say his teacher only did it as a introductory test, so rest assured, this Aizawa person probably won't be doing that again."

Matt let out a scoff, "It better have been an introductory test..."

A few minutes passed, and Mark finished off his cereal. He got up and walked back over to the kitchen, placing his bowl in the sink.

Mark thought, "Alright, now I gotta get myself ready…"

Mark walked back to his room, and proceeded to put his U.A. uniform on once again. Afterwards, he quickly placed all of his books and folders into his backpack. Finally, he put his phone in his pocket.

He walked back into the living room, fully dressed.

Maria then pulled out her phone, and looked at the time, "Oh, it's 7:10! I better start heading out!"

She quickly grabbed her bag, and got up.

Maria kissed her son on the forehead, "Enjoy your second day at U.A., sweetie! Love you!"

Mark smiled, "Love you too, Mom."

Maria quickly put on a light jacket, and fully placed her bag on her back.

She walked towards her husband, and gave him a quick kiss goodbye as well.

Maria opened the door, walked out of the apartment, and closed the door behind her.

Mark then sat down next to his father.

Mark stated, "I'm just going to wait here until it's time for me to go."

Matt shrugged, "Okay."

A brief silence filled the room, and Mark quickly looked at his phone.

It was currently 7:11.

"Good.", Mark thought, "I still have enough time..."

Matt spoke up, "So…how's your new friend doing?"

Mark looked up from his phone, and replied, "Oh, she's doing good. We were just, like, chatting on the train yesterday afternoon about random geeky stuff."

Matt nodded, "That's cool. Are you guys in the same class, or-?"

Mark perked a brow, "Um, yeah. We are. We're both in Class 1-A. I said that to you yesterday."

Matt's eyes widened in shock, "Oh yeah, that's right! You did!"

The elder Yeti then facepalmed himself, "Oy. I'm sorry, kiddo. The workdays at my office downtown tend to blend in with each other, and I sometimes forget, like, certain things that were said. I guess it's the tiredness that's affecting my memory."

Matt let out a big yawn, and rubbed his eyes, "It's exhausting working there, if I'm being honest. Even more exhausting than my old 'Dark Creature' days…at least then I could punch stuff away…"

Mark said nothing the entire time his father spoke. He only just frowned, his stomach twisting into guilty knots.

Matt then shook his head, and looked back at his son, "Sorry to trail off like that, Mark. Uh, so, when does your train arrive?"

Mark felt his voice come back, "Oh, um…7:42."

He quickly checked his watch, and saw that it was now 7:13 am.

"It's currently 7:13."

Matt nodded, "Alright. I guess you're waiting a little longer?"

Mark replied, "Yeah."

The Yeti boy mindlessly waited around several more minutes, and then looked at his phone again.

"It's currently 7:25. I better leave now.", said Mark, who got up, and grabbed his bag.

Matt replied, "Text me or your mother to let us know that you're on the train."

Mark nodded, "Right."

Matt also stated, "Remember our training session!"

Mark smiled, "Right!"

"Okay, then. I'll see you later. Love you."

"Love you too, Dad."

Mark then opened the door, walked out of the apartment, and closed the door behind him.

As the Yeti boy walked down the stairs of his building, a wave of guilt washed over his mind.

There were times where Mark felt a little bad for having his family move all the way out to Japan.

For his parents, it meant lifestyle changes, a new place to live, new jobs to find, a new school to find, as well as new rent and bills to pay.

Sometimes he wishes he could've stop and thought about his actions, about what moving to Japan might've meant for his family.

What leaving America might've meant for him, in particular.

Mark sighed as he arrived at the train station.

He went inside, and quickly pulled out his card from his bag. The Yeti boy then stood around, and waited for his train to arrive. After a few minutes, he got on the train, as usual.

Mark sat down on a seat, and looked outside the window as the train began to leave the city.

The Yeti sighed and just silently pulled out his phone. He texted his parents that he was on the train.

The train traveled across several stops, as usual.

In that amount of time, Mark mindlessly scrolled through his camera roll, getting rid of some old photos, having nothing better to do.

After a few stops, the train eventually arrived at Hosu City.

Mark pulled away from his phone, and saw Iruka walk in.

Iruka spotted Mark, and quickly walked towards him.

"Heey!", cheerfully said Iruka, "How's it going, Morgan?"

Mark smiled, "Hey Sumūsufin! I'm doing alright!"

"That's good to hear.", replied Iruka as she sat down next to her friend, "Ready for our second day?"

Mark nodded, "Yep! I kinda hope we get to do some hero stuff, though. Like with our costumes, and all."

Iruka said, "Agreed."

The pair eventually arrived at their usual stop, and after a half hour of walking and chit-chatting, both managed to arrive at U.A.

"...So you really think his time as the Doctor was too short?", asked Mark as he and Iruka were walking down the hallway.

Iruka responded, "Yeah. I don't know, I feel like he should have had another season, to really showcase what he was capable of. I feel like he got the short end of the stick, out of all of the modern Doctors. The same thing goes for one of the super classic Doctors, like Jodie Whittaker."

Mark perked a brow in shock, "Oh, really? You feel that way about Thirteen? See, I actually kinda like her era as is. I thought it was a good amount of episodes."

Iruka shrugged, "Eh, I think she needed more episodes. I mean, don't get me wrong, I LOVE the Thirteenth Doctor! She's one of my favorites!"

Mark nodded, "Nah, I get you, I get you! She's great!"

Iruka continued, "But, I feel like she needed more time as that character. I feel like Jodie's episodes became way too complex, overstuffed, and she just got lost in all of that. Again, I still love her character though."

The pair soon entered their homeroom, and went inside.

They saw both Midoriya and Ochaco sitting in the same spots as yesterday, and happily greeted them.

"So, what do you think about the NEW new Doctor?", asked Mark as both he and Iruka sat down in their respective seats, "I think he looks cool so far."

Iruka replied, "I agree! I feel like he could be a very unique sort of Doctor. I mean, he looks like a more modern version of David Tennant, if he was mixed together with Matt Smith, if that makes any sense. I think he'll do well."

Ochaco chimed in, "Hey, what are you guys talking about?"

Both Iruka and Mark answered in unison, "Doctor Who."

Ochaco said, "Oh, you mean that British sci-fi show that's still going on?"

Iruka replied, "Yes! Morgan and I are big fans of it!"

"That's cool to know.", smiled Ochaco, "I heard good things about that show, but I never really got around to watching it. It's…uh, a lot of episodes for me…"

The brown-haired girl then awkwardly laughed, and rubbed the back of her head.

Iruka said, "That's fair. Doctor Who is a really big commitment, and isn't really for everyone."

Midoriya then spoke up, "Hey, um, sorry for interrupting, but…are you guys talking to each other in English?"

Mark answered, "Yes. Yes, we are."

Midoriya nodded, "Interesting. Why is that, if you don't mind me asking?"

Mark explained, "Well, back on the day Sumūsufin and I first met, I was kinda hoping that I could have a full-on casual conversation with someone, ANYONE here in English. Because before the entrance exam, the only other people are that I've spoken English with were my parents. No one in my previous school could really speak English all that well. So, because of that…I was starting to go a little crazy. So, that's why."

The Yeti then asked Iruka, "You asked me about this yesterday evening, right?"

Iruka replied, "Yep."

She turned to Midoriya and explained, "See, when we were on the train yesterday, I had asked Morgan 'Why do we communicate in English?'. It was kind of a random question that popped in my mind."

Midoriya put a hand to his chin, "Mmm, I see."

At that moment, the same blond DJ from the day of the entrance exam arrived.

He exclaimed, "Hello, my awesome students! It's me, your rad new English teacher, Present Mic! Ready to learn some new stuff?!"

The class awkwardly nodded in response (as for that Bakugo guy, he just angrily scoffed.)

Mark muttered, "Speaking of English…"

And so, class started, and the entire morning was filled with the usual academic English lessons, which most of the students found rather...boring (with the exceptions of Midoriya, Iruka, and that ponytail girl from before).

During one part of the lesson, Present Mic pointed to the sentences on the board, and stated, "Alright class, tell me where the mistake is in this next English sentence example..."

He then yelled out, "WHO KNOWS THE ANSWER?! EVERYBODY, HANDS UP AND RAISE THEM HIGH!"

The class didn't exactly respond at first. Most of them thought, "So normal...and boring..."

Present Mic shouted, "IF NO ONE DOES IT, I'MMA START CALLIN' OUT NAMES!"

A minute passed by, and no one answered.

Iruka was about to raise her hand, but Mic instantly pointed towards Mark, "You there! Morgan! You're up!"

Mark's eyes widened with fear, and he slowly pointed towards himself, "U-Um...me?!"

Present Mic replied, "Why, yes of course!"

It was at that point that Mark began sweating bullets. He was clearly put on the spot, and didn't know how to answer the question.

Mark nervously thought, "Crap! I can't think of the answer! What is it?! What do I say?!"

He took a deep breath, and responded, "I...I don't know."

Iruka raised her hand again, "Mr. Mic, please let me answer instead."

Present Mic nodded, "Alright. Passin' it over to you, Sumūsufin. Go ahead."

As Iruka answered the question, Mark slumped back into his chair, deeply relieved.

He thought to himself, "Phew! Thank you, Sumūsufin!"

Soon, English class ended, and math was the next subject, followed by history.

Finally, the bell rang for the students' lunch break.

All of the students' various meals were supplied by Lunch Rush, the Cooking Hero.

The pair sat down next to each other, blessed their food in a traditional Japanese manner, and started to eat.

As Mark ate his pieces of fish, he said, "Also, thanks for the save back in English, dude. You really saved my skin."

"No problem!", replied Iruka as she ate her rice, "I had a feeling you were caught off guard, so I just wanted to help you out."

Mark smiled, "Yeah, I really appreciated that."

Just then, Midoriya sat down across from the pair, with his own food.

He blessed his food and started to eat.

"Hey, guys. How are you doing?", asked the green haired boy as he ate some rice.

Mark said, "We're doing alright so far. How about you?"

Midoriya swallowed and replied, "I'm doing okay. I'm just rather nervous about today. I assumed we're going to be doing our first day of hero training, so I brought my suit with me just in case."

Iruka said, "Oooh, nice!"

Mark also said, "That's cool! Who made it for you?"

Midoriya awkwardly stated, "U-um, well…this might sound a little corny, but…my mom actually made it for me."

Iruka exclaimed, "Aww! That's really sweet of her!"

Mark agreed, "That's awesome to hear, Midoriya!"

The green haired boy smiled bashfully, "Thanks, guys…I'm really happy with how the overall suit turned out."

After 40 minutes, the lunch session ended, and the afternoon portion of the day began.

"IT'S MEEE!", stated the famous No. 1 hero, All Might, who dashed into the classroom, "THROUGH THE DOOR, LIKE A NORMAL PERSON!"

As the larger-than-life Pro Hero happily strutted in, the entire class was in awe, amazed by his presence (…with the exception of Bakugo, who only silently glared.)

Mark, in particular, was deeply excited. His favorite Japanese Pro Hero was here, in the flesh!

He turned to Iruka and grinned, "It's freakin' All Might! In person! This is awesome!"

Iruka grinned, "I know, right?! I can't believe he's really going to be teaching us!"

"Foundational Hero Studies!", All Might stated, "For this class, we'll be building up your hero foundation through various trials!"

He quickly pulled out a card that had the word, 'BATTLE', in big, bold letters.

"Let's jump right in with this! The Trial of Battle!", the Pro Hero exclaimed, "And to go with your first battle…"

The walls on the right side of the room began to move outwards. Various shelves were revealed. They had dozens of glass containers, which each showcased different filed numbers,

"…We've prepared the gear we had you send in requests for to match your Quirks!"

Most of the students exclaimed, "OUR BATTLE GEAR! AWESOME!"

"Get changed, and we'll be ready to go! Everyone gather at grounds B!", All Might instructed, "The garb you bring to the battlefield is vitally important, boys and girls!"

Everyone got up, and proceeded to head out the door.

As they all left out, All Might stated, "And don't forget, from here on out, you're all officially heroes! So, let's see what you're made of, my young champions!"
