AN: I haven't written in some time, so I am making up for it now. I am so sorry for the delay, please keep reading my stories, I hope to post more consistently.

Kara was 20 when she discovered sex. She quickly learned that the female human body was complex and it was nerve wracking. She also learned, that Kryptonians, despite being indestructible, was incredibly sensitive to light, feathery touches. It's also her most embarrassing moment because she ended up breaking the poor girl's fingers.

"Alex, it's not funny!" she cried to her sister on the phone. She was in the waiting room of a sterile hospital, desperately trying to drown out the hum of machinery in the whole building.

"Oh, but it is little sister. It is."

"I think we're ready for the next step, Kara Danvers." Lena blurted out on her couch. They have officially been dating for three months, luckily out of the public's eye. They were sitting, eating cheap Chinese food, and watching a documentary that Lena wanted to see. Mid bite, Kara almost choked on her potsticker.

"What step is that?" She asked slowly once her esophagus was clear of food. Lena leaned into Kara a bit more, and smiled cheekily.

"Sleepovers." Oh thank Rao. Kara breathed out a sigh of relief.

"I thought you were going to say sex, Lena." she chuckled. Lena pulled back, clearly offended. Kara scrambled for words. "I didn't mean it like that. I just…" Lena waited for a reason, but Kara fumbled for words she didn't realize she needed.

"I wasn't asking for it directly, but yes, Kara Danvers. Sex would be implied. I didn't realize I repulse you." She hissed. Sanding to grab her bag, Kara's eyes bulged and she stood to follow the scientist.

"Lena, wait, I'm sorry. Sex is complicated for me." Lena rolled her eyes and walked out the door.

"Sam, what do you think?" Lena asked as the CFO drank from her coffee. She remained silent.

"I think you should talk it out." she answered finally after a moment. "Obviously, she likes you. It's all over her face and you can't hide every hickey." She teased. Lena's office doors flew open and Agent Danvers stood, with Jess looking sheepishly behind her.

"I tried to stop her."

"I messed up." Supergirl cried to Alex as she touched down in the DEO. Alex raised an auburn brow and motioned to follow. Kara walked in and saw Lena standing there. She glanced at Supergirl and back at the terminal. She commanded the room, and didn't once look at Kara. Once again, Kara found herself asking:

Does she know?

"Reign will attack here and here tonight. I deciphered her riddle." She went on monotonously, using a laser pointer on a map of the city. "There are truckloads of nuclear products traveling and I suspect she will want to use that."

"Supergirl will have to fight without honor if your last battles are anything to go by." She dug. Alex raised her eyebrows in surprise. "Fight like an alien. She is lethal, Supergirl. So should you." Kara huffed.

"I will try." she mumbled, kicking her boot against the ground.

"No, you will have to. She wants to kill you. End her."

Kara waited at the rendezvous point. She stood in the middle of the road, watching the skies. It was dark and cool outside. She spotted the truck and saw a flash. Right on time. Kara lifted off and tackled the figure mid air.

"Kara Zor-El! You came back for your demise. How pathetic." Reign taunted as she broke free from the grip Kara had on her. The DEO and Lena were in a van a not far away, waiting for the signal, but Kara was yanked up into the sky by Reign, high above the clouds. It was a tense minute, silence was heard on the comms. Lena was biting her nails, quite literally, and Alex gripped her forearms in anticipation. One body came down fast. Blonde hair was spotted and Lena let out a wail as Supergirl fell to Earth at an alarming rate. A sonic boom was heard. It rattled the van and Lena opened the back of the van and ran. She ran until she reached the crater. In the center laid a motionless Supergirl, bloody and banged up.

Lena slid down the edge of the crater in her designer slacks, not caring about the stains and reached Supergirl. The van pulled up a moment later. Alex went to the edge and watched Lena check for a pulse, tears streaking down her face. She gasped, cradling Supergirl to her chest.

"I'll wait an eternity for you, Kara." She whispered against her bloody temple.
