Aruji-sama = It means Lord, Chief, and Master.
Banzai = Japanese's battle cry.
*Touken Danshi = AKA Sword Warriors, gods of swords created from ancient spirit and techniques that are given human form. They are the summons under Saniwa. (Touken Ranbu)
-Sword Types : Wakizashi, Uchigatana, Tachi, Ootachi, Yari, Nagitana, and Tsurugi. (Touken Ranbu)
*Sage = The power used by Saniwa to assist and summon new Touken Danshi (Touken Ranbu)
*Jikan sokōgun = AKA Time Retrograde Army and Historical Revisionists, antagonists and responsible of traveling back in time to alter historical events. (Touken Ranbu)br /
*Honmaru = Also known as Citadel, a Japanese-castle-like establishment where Saniwa and the Touken Danshi lives. (Touken Ranbu)

*Servants = are Heroic Spirits that the Master of Chaldea commands. (FATE)

*Majutsu = AKA Magecraft, is the artificial reenactment of Mystery, which is ordinarily possible only by inhuman beings. It is the ability to bring about what is possible through science with supernatural means. (FATE)
Chapter 5 : Reunion and Revelation
Inside the prison, the three were busy talking about their plan when they heard a loud groan from a stranger they did not know. Turning to the source, Yamatonokami Yasusada and Kashuu Kiyomitsu could not help but voice their shock while Izuminokami Kanesada remained silent but shock was evident to his expression.
Outside the prison, there's actually person who was listening to their conversation this whole time and the only one who recognized him was Kashuu Kiyomitsu. This person was a beautiful young man, long purple hair and wearing kimono, on his waist was his sword.
This person sigh before speaking for the first time, "As much as I would love to continue listening to your escape plan, I received a notice so like it or not, we will change venue." He shouted, "Men take them out!"
The door busted open and three men had entered, going to their prison and opened the door. They started to drag them away. The three struggled so it led the purple samurai no choice but to release his killing intent towards the three. That made Yamatonokami Yasusada and Izuminokami Kanesada felt tense and immediately understood as to why Kashuu Kiyomitsu said that this person was dangerous.
Azuchi Castle entrance, Saniwa and Konnosuke reached the gate with Rider as their guide and before they could enter, a familiar voice was heard.
"Aruji-sama!" Turning to the side, it was Hishiki Hasebe running in highest speed. Behind him was Mutsunokami Yoshiyuki who was also running as well. Once Hishiki Hasebe was in a good distant, he immediately prostrates over Saniwa. "My apologies Aruji-sama! I am such a failure attendant and follower, please punish me as you see fit!"
"H-Hasebe-kun please calm down and get up from there." Saniwa tried to pull him up but Hishiki Hasebe won't budge, repeating words about being failure and punishment.
Getting enough of it, Mutsunokami Yoshiyuki helped Saniwa by forcing him to pull up and stand still. "You are making more trouble towards Aruji-sama so enough you idiot."
"B-but… but…"
Mutsunokami Yoshiyuki sigh before turning to Saniwa and bowed in straight 90 degrees, "My apologies as well Aruji-sama, we had failed you."
"No, you did not." Saniwa smiled towards them, "I'm just happy that you two are alive and had returned to me."
Those words made them feel delighted and would have cried if weren't for the arrival of Horikawa Kunihiro, behind him was a man wielding a nagatana and a stranger.
"Aruji-sama I am glad you are alright." Horikawa Kunihiro said in sincere relief. Saniwa nodded, "Yes I'm fine. I am glad you had return too Kunihiro-kun."
Horikawa Kunihiro could not help but blush for a bit, "Thank you Aruji-sama."
The person who was with Horikawa Kunihiro kept walking until he reached Ryouma and asked.
"How did the talk go?"
"Quite good, thanks for keeping them away, Inshun."
"No problem, I'm just glad I could help."
"Huh, where did Izou go?"
"Knowing him I'm sure he walked off to kill some time Oryou-san. Are you worried for him?"
"No way hell Oryou-san do."
The Ryouma chuckled before turning to the group, "It's already late, let's head in."
The two male and female casually walked in the Azuchi Castle, for the female its floating, while the group stared them.
Mutsunokami Yoshiyuki for unknown reason felt something strange towards them, more specific the person wearing white western clothes. Why does it felt like he knows him, much less felt nostalgic and happiness? He's pretty sure this was their first-time meeting so why?
"Let's go everyone." Saniwa urged but Hishiki Hasebe could not help but be wary, "Are you sure Aruji-sama?"
"Yes. If we follow them, they will allow us to meet up with Kiyomitsu-kun, Yasusada-kun and Kanesada-kun. We have no choice." Saniwa reasoned.
Hishiki Hasebe and Horikawa Kunihiro looked shock when they learned that they also captured Kashuu Kiyomitsu. With no choice, they followed them.
Once inside, they were led to a large room and upon opening the entrance, the missing three companions were sitting on table with an unknown purple samurai.
Horikawa Kunihiro was the first one to break the silence, "Kane-san you alright!"
"Kunihiro! Aruji-sama! Mutsunokami and Hishiki are here too!" Izuminokami Kanesada said in joy as he stood up from his sit while the other two was full in joy as they call, "Aruji-sama!"
"Kanesada-kun, Kiyomitsu-kun, Yasusada-kun I'm so glad that you three are alright." Saniwa said in relief, followed by Konnosuke. "That's true, the three of you made us all worry!"
"Hey! It's not our fault that we got separated much less captured." Kashuu Kiyomitsu reasoned.
While the group reunioned happily, the purple samurai walked away from them and went to Ryouma and Inshun.
"Thank you for all the hard work." The purple samurai greeted. Inshun grinned, "Thank you for all the hard work as well Sasaki, I hope you are not bored from watching them."
The purple samurai identified as Assassin Servant, Sasaki Kojiro smiled as he replied, "Although I do wish to head to battle, I don't mind watching them. Besides, I had fun listening to their coming escape plan."
"It's given to say that they failed to sense you huh." Ryouma commented that made Kojiro chuckle in amusement, since it's true. "Well, I better go and get some food for them. I already learned about the information you got from them and for the Sword to be given a human form, they are also in need of food to live."
"I guess that clears the difference between Touken Danshi and Servant." Inshun commented with a smile. It's a normal knowledge that Servants doesn't need food to live but they could still eat if they wish for it and more for the sake of fun.
Kojiro agreed as he left to get food for them. Once he's out, the remaining Servants on the room noticed the silence within the room and turn to the group who were looking at them.
Ryouma smiled, "As you heard, food will be prepared soon so feel free to act like home. I, Oryou-san, Inshun-san, Sasaki-san and, better or worse, Izou-kun will be here to get what you need so feel free to ask."
The group wasn't sure how to feel about this situation. Are they looked up here or not?
"Rider what do you plan to do with us?" Konnosuke questioned. Inshun blinked for a moment before turning to his companion, "You introduced yourselves using your Class?"
"Hey can you blame us! We don't trust them from the very beginning until recently." Oryou huff while Ryouma laughed weakly, silently telling Inshun that they did before turning to them and answered his question. "I'm actually thinking about having you meet our Master. After all, I'm pretty sure you and Master had a lot of common to get along. If ever you do not wish to meet our Master and leave then I'll let you."
His honest answer was not something the group had expected. Inshun on the other hand looked confused.
"Are you sure it's wise to have them meet Master?" Inshun questioned, voiced low and serious. Ryouma turned to him and answered back in serious tone, "Without a doubt."
The two kept staring at each other, while Oryou freely floated around but there's no mistake that her eyes was focused on Inshun in seriousness.
A moment later when Inshun conceded, "Fine, we're talking about you Sakamoto so I'm sure you will never do anything bad that would turn out harming Master."
"Thank you for the confidence, Inshun-san." Sakamoto smiled, happy for the fact to be trusted.
"S-Sakamoto?" Mutsunokami Yoshiyuki who remained silent ever since his eyes landed to his figure spoke for the first time.
Sakamoto gazed towards Saniwa, "You still remember about Heroic Spirits and Counter Guardian, correct?"
"Huh? Oh, yes I still remember." Saniwa confirmed.
Sakamoto nodded in please before giving a proper bow, "Let us properly introduce ourselves. My real name is Sakamoto Ryouma, pleased to meet you." Oryou waved her hands as she introduced herself, "While I'm Oryou-san, give me frog and we'll get along." Ryouma laughed weakly, "She's my assistant, together we are Rider Class Servant."
Inshun grinned toward them as he followed, "I'm Hozoin Inshun, Lancer Class Servant, nice to meet you."
"The guy you two fought a while ago was Okada Izou and the purple samurai who left to get food was Sasaki Kojiro-san, both of them are Assassin Class Servants. Let's all get along okay." Ryouma ended the introduction.
It was quiet for a moment before Izuminokami Kanesada shouted in disbelief as he pointed, "I DON'T REMEMBER SAKAMOTO RYOUMA LOOKING LIKE YOU!"
"I could guess, different world but was able to meet due to this Singularity." Ryouma agreed nonchalantly, not offended by his word. "I'm pretty sure your group have a long way to talk about so we'll be leaving. Just shout if you need anything, see you."
Ryouma walked away followed by Oryou. Inshun grinned as he shouted, "I expect knowing your names tomorrow. Good night." He too also left.
Now that the group were left alone, Saniwa and Konnosuke had decided to explain everything they have learned from Rider, or Sakamoto Ryouma. Hearing everything took a lot from everyone, especially Izuminokami Kanesada, Kashuu Kiyomitsu and Mutsunokami Yoshiyuki who actually met their alternate previous owner.
"If all said is true, I can finally understand. The way that girl version Okita holds Yamatonokami Yasusada sword and her perfectly copied technique from the Okita we know, everything makes sense." Kashuu Kiyomitsu murmured but everyone could still hear it.
Yamatonokami Yasusada could not help but be worried. Despite the fact that Kashuu Kiyomitsu had never mentioned it, it's clear from his tone that the girl version of Okita did not hold another sword which was him. 'Is it possible that I am this girl version's only sword? Does Kiyomitsu not exist in her time? No! I can't think that way!'
Unknown to all, Izuminokami Kanesada was feeling the same way as Kashuu Kiyomitsu but not for himself but for his partner, Horikawa Konihiro. He clearly remembered the day they met the Chaldea Commander, Hijikata Toshizo. He wields one sword which he immediately realized was him while the other was a western long gun. He does not possess his backup sword which was Horikawa Konihiro.
Horikawa Konihiro could not help but noticed Izuminokami Kanesada's worries and it's all pointed to him. He wanted to ask but for some reason he felt hesitant and afraid to know it.
For Mutsunokami Yoshiyuki, it all makes sense how he felt back then from him. That person was another version of his previous owner, Sakamoto Ryouma and the way he looked at him, he won't be surprise if he doesn't know him. Still, he could not help but be excited and nervous, after all if what their Aruji-sama said was true, they can interact with them and no matter what they do will not affect the original timeline when it fixed so his longing to speak with his previous owner personally made him excited but became nervous because what should they talked about? He knows that its different version but that person was still his previous master… what to do?
All thinking paused when they heard someone knocked the door. It opened before any of them could open it to see it was Sasaki with food in hand.
"I hope I'm not disturbing. I brought a lot of food, hopefully it's enough for all of you." Sasaki said politely as he raised both hands to show a lot of lunch box takeout for them.
It was Heshikiri Hasebe who immediately stood up and approached him to get them from his hands.
"Thank you… Sasaki Kojiro, correct?" Heshikiri Hasebe asked for confirmation.
"Yes, I take that they had told my name." Sasaki nodded before stepping back from the room, "Well I'll leave now, enjoy your meal and night."
Before he could leave, Heshikiri Hasebe called him out.
"Wait Sasaki-san, I have question."
"Hmm? What would that be?"
Heshikiri Hasebe was hesitant at first before sighing heavily before turning to him in serious expression, "I just want to confirm especially when I heard about your existence. Is Oda Nobunaga included?"
"Yes, and currently she's with our Master in battle." Kojiro honestly answered.
"She? Are you telling me that Oda Nobunaga is female!?" Heshikiri Hasebe could not help but double take about this information. Kojiro nodded and chuckled, "I take that she's male in your world. Our version of Oda Nobunaga was also mistaken as male in recorded history and believe me that it's not the first time it happened."
"Is it to safe to confirm that in your history, mistaking historical figure's gender is normal?" Konnosuke who overheard question. Kojiro answered, "That's correct. The greatest mistake was the King of Knight, King Arthuria Pendragon. She's a female who dressed and pretend as male to become a respected King of Camelot."
That information was something that's hard to swallow.
"Anything else I could help you?" Kojiro asked after a long time of silence. They all looked to each other and shook their head. Kojiro nodded in confirmation, "Well see you tomorrow."
He left them. Heshikiri Hasebe blinked for moment to function himself before taking the food on the table then went back to the entrance, looked around before closing the door when the coast was clear. He went back to his sit, watching Horikawa Kunihiro distributing their food before sighing hardly.
"You don't look happy to hear the alternate Oda Nobunaga to exist Habase-kun. Are you alright?" Saniwa could not help but asked.
Heshikiri Hasebe would normally jump in joy every time Saniwa called him but for now, he looked solemn as he shook his head. "I don't really know Aruji-sama. This is not a secret but I don't see my previous owner as someone important, I don't even care about him and the fact that he had given me to someone who is not his retainer is true… still to know that Oda Nobunaga much less his girl version exist here… I'm lost in thought."
"Wait until you actually meet the girl version Oda Nobunaga, I who had met Okita's girl version is still a mess." Kashuu Kiyomitsu said absently, truly worrying Yamotonokami at this point, "Kiyomitsu please pull yourself."
Saniwa sigh loudly and announced to the group, "I know it's a lot to take in but first let's eat the food that they had graciously prepared for us then think later."
"Yes Aruji-sama." Everyone said in union and in low tone as if all their energy was sucked away.
Saniwa could not blame them, today was indeed stressful for everyone.
Later after dinner, Konnosuke approached Saniwa who was alone and silently staring the night sky.
"Do you plan on meeting their Master?" Konnosuke questioned. Saniwa was silent for a moment before responding, "I don't see any problem in doing so Konnosuke. I know the danger ahead of us but if by meeting their Master and ask for an alliance, we could speed up this mission and fix this Singularity as soon as possible."
"I know but I could not help but not like the idea." Konnosuke admitted, "It's far too dangerous and without you the Touken Danshi and the Honmaru would be doom."
"You know more than anyone that I can be replaced like you Konnosuke." Saniwa said gently which made Konnosuke shouted, "Saniwa! That's not what I meant!"
Saniwa laughed, "Hahahaha I know Konnosuke hahahaha… thank you." Saniwa said solemnly before turning outside, to clearly see the new moon in the night sky. "I will still take the risk. Our mission is to protect our history and like the Touken Danshi who always risked their lives to protect it, and so am I. As their master I have to prove to them that I too will risk my life for this mission."
"Saniwa… sigh… I will come with you and if anything happens, I will protect you with my life, that includes the rest of the Touken Danshi." Konnosuke assured and Saniwa smiled toward him and nodded, "Thank you Konnosuke."
Next morning, Sakamoto and Oryou had come to visit their room after breakfast was served to them.
"I hope you got yourselves a well rest." Sakamoto said towards them then turned to Saniwa in question, "Had you made your decision?"
"Yes, I wish to meet your Master, Sakamoto-san." Saniwa answered in conviction. Sakamoto looked happy as he nodded, "Okay, then we better head off now. The last report I received was that they conquered Gujo Hachiman Castle. Master will be expecting your arrival young man."
"Huh? Was he already informed?" Izumonokami Kanesada could not help but asked. Oryou decided to answer, "Yup! Ryouma already prepared horses for each of us, that's how amazing Ryouma is."
"I guess that's just expected from Sakamoto Ryouma-sama." Mutsunokami Yoshiyuki agreed with a large grin which delighted Oryou while Ryouma gave a questioning look towards him. Before he could ask, someone interrupted.
"Good morning, everyone!" It was Inshun who came in with a wide smile to his lips as he shouted his greetings followed by Kojiro who gave a normal, "Good morning."
"Good morning, Hozoin-san and Sasaki-san." It was Horikawa Kunihiro who answered for everyone.
"As promised, I want to know your names before we depart, if it's okay for all of you." Inshun said with a big smile.
The Touken Danshi turned to Saniwa who nodded, telling them it's okay. To show it, Saniwa introduced himself. "I'm the current master of the Touken Danshi, call me Sage or Saniwa. It's very late but please to meet you."
"I'm Konnosuke, Saniwa's assistant. Nice to meet you." The little fox introduced.
"Umm… I'm Yamatonokami Yasusada, one of Okita-kun, Okita Souji's Ushigatana sword."
"Kashuu Kiyomitsu, like Yasusada I am also owned by Okita Souji as his Ushigatana sword."
"P-please to meet you, I'm Horikawa Kunihiro, I was previously owned by Vice Commander, Hijikata Toshizo as his Wakizachi sword."
"Ehem… I am Hijikata Toshizo's beloved Ushigatana sword. I'm cool and strong sword who has recently become pretty popular, Izuminokami Kanesada! Please to meet you."
"I am master's Touken Danshi and attendant, Heshikiri Hasebe, Uchigatana. I am once owned by Oda Nobunaga but that's pretty much irrelevant. Nice to meet you."
"Ah… ummm…" Unlike the rest, Mutsunokami Yoshiyuki looked very nervous to the point he couldn't form a word.
The Servants merely waited for him to speak and mentally could not tell why this person looked so nervous.
Having enough of it, Izuminokami Kanesada pushed his back in annoyance as he says, "Just introduce yourself already!"
"I-I know…" Mutsunokami Yoshiyuki so unlike him spoke meekly as he turned back to the Servants. He took a deep breath and introduce himself, "M-Mutsunokami Yoshiyuki, Uchigatana and… I-I am… ahhh… sigh… I'm a sword used to be owned by Sakamoto Ryouma-sama."
Hearing his name, Ryouma blinked towards him then slowly raised his sword. Mutsunokami Yoshiyuki could not help but had his eyes widen to see the different version of Sakamoto Ryouma holding him, in his original sword form.
As if understanding, Ryouma laughed. "I see hahaha." Oryou looked at him in question, "What's so funny?"
"Well… it's just I did not expect to meet the human version of my Sword, Oryou-san." Ryouma explained to her then turned back to him. "Well good to meet a human version of my Sword, I hope I'm still not a disappointment after everything."
"N-No… I… kind of expected that if it's really Sakamoto-sama and… terrifyingly you are more cunning than my Sakamoto-sama." Mutsunokami Yoshiyuki shyly answered. Ryouma looked intruded and interested, "Is that so, well if we're dealing with Servants and Grail, normal cunningness won't help me succeed."
"How smug you look now, quite rare." Kojiro commented towards Ryouma who laughed while Oryou smirked for him. Inshun nodded in agreement towards Kojiro's comment, "To meet the human version of your extension, it's a once in a life time experience after all."
"Hmm… then looks like I have a competition. I, Oryou-san, will protect Ryouma no matter what." As if finding a good reason, Oryou started to gaze Mutsunokami Yoshiyuki as if he's her eternal rival.
"Oryou-san no fighting okay." Ryouma reminded her then turned back to them in apologetic expression, "Sorry about that and please to meet all of you. Now that we're done with the introduction, let's now head off."
"Okay."
