Harry sighed he found itself at ease and feeling the rest of the year will be a good year.

Chapter start

Harry turned to head out of the classroom he had no reason to check out the office he could tell it was just as Spartan as the actual classroom

He was about to open the door when Merniva opened it and jumped

"Oh Harry! I see your finished did you like the room?" She asked

"It's great Merniva but I'd like to request a few portraits that can reflect the weather outside I feel the room is a bit to dreary right now as it is." Harry said

Merniva sighed "yes I'm afraid that's the reason the Dueling Club also called it quits. I'll see what I can do. Run along now back to the dorm before filch catches you he can't give you detention's due to you being on staff but he can give you a Stern talking to." Merniva said "Harry. Here. Don't let anyone else know you have it, except for Ms Granger." Merniva said as she handed Harry a time tuner before she walked away.

Harry nodded as he went to the dorm.

He entered through the fat lady and found Devon, Ginny, Ron and Hermione by the fire alone.

"What are you guys doing up?" Harry asked

"Waiting got you, we still need to go over what happened." Hermione said

Harry sighed

Hermione raised her hand. Not about your role on staff that I can get. I bet our reactions were funny too." Hermione said making Ginny smirk

Hermione then got serious

"But what we're you thinking about Umbridge?" She asked

Harry sighed as he sat down

"Ok I guess I can talk to you about that. Honestly I'm still here as a student. The fact is that 1 with the amount of work I have for my classes as well as what I'm teaching I'm going to be bogged down. Having Umbridge will not 1 embarrass the hell out of her as she is forced to accept to help students. Or faces criminal charges. And two it will in fact ease my workload." Harry said

"Is that why you put the request in?" Ginny asked

"Request?" Ron asked sitting up

"Ginny no one's supposed to know!" Harry hissed

Ginny rolled her eyes "come on Harry it's us. You know you can trust us. We're your command staff." She said

Harry sighed and looked around

"Fine but only because." Harry said as he pulled out the time turner

Hermione gasped

"I'm only using it to give myself extra time In order to sleep." Harry said firmly.

Devon looked ashen. And Ron looked horrified "blimy after hearing what Hermione went through with that thing are you sure you can handle it?" He asked

"I'll be careful." Harry said

"You'll be dead." Devon said finally making all the eyes turn on him.

"Harry I won't lie. Giving you a time turner was the most stupidest thing McGonigall could have done. Time magick is fickle. Change one thing and you break the timeline and make a split universe with no hope of going back." Devon said

"I'm aware." Harry said

"No you don't. It's very complicated I needed a graph drawn out to me before I got it. Let me show you." Devon said as he got out a piece of parchment and drew a line in the middle of it.

"This is our timeline. The one with everything that happened. The troll in first year. The chamber of secrets in second year." Devon said

"The attack at the ministry?" Ron asked

"Everything that you've lived through." Devon explained

"Now here is what happens if you use a time turner and change one thing on the past."

Devon made an entirely new line. Splitting off from the new one.

"Actions in the past create split events and change outcomes in ways that other events of a similar nature don't. Creating a new different timeline. Same events but due to the outcome of what you changed the results are different." Devon said

"Have you heard of the multiverse theory?" He asked

Hermione nodded and simplified it down.

Ron nodded "so using a time turner you could accidentally be left in the other timeline and be stuck with the choices you changed." Ron said

Devon shook his head. "No Ron no it's worse than that far worse." He said

"How?" Harry asked

Devon looked at Harry and explained in two words.

"Energy transfer."

Hermione gasped

"Energy is never added or destroyed, only changed. Magic is just another form of energy. However due to the split timeline's that's double the amount the energy that previously existed. It's untenable."

Everyone looked horrified at that aspect.

"So…what happens in that case?" Harry asked

Devon shrugged "no one knows no one was stupid enough to test it. But the theory is that due to the timeline's they will either shatter and create a world ending event. Or…"

Harry leained in "or?"

"The timeline's fuse together. Weither or not everyone or just the person at the epicenter would remember is unknown. But still having two separate lives rolling around in your head." Devon said

"It's enough to drive anyone insane…" Hermione said

Devon nodded as he looked to Harry

"A fate worse than death." He said as he stood up

"Be extremely careful with that time turner. Especially with the soul bond, no doubt that Ginny will feel both of your presence's in her mind. Ginny when you do." He said

Ginny nodded "don't draw attention to it." She said

Devon nodded "good girl. I'm off to bed and you should too." He said as he went to his room to sleep.

The next day at breakfast everyone was handed out there schedules for classes as Harry was handed one that seemed larger .

Harry pocketed the schedule and stood up "I'll talk to you guys later." He said as he left which made most of the Hall look confused

Harry entered the classroom and summoned chairs his first class happened to be the first years. Excellent. Being able to get into a grove with those younger than you would be easier and prepare him for when he had to work with the older students.

Finally the door opened and the class walked in

"Please sit anywhere I'll figure out a way to remember your names eventually." Harry said from his desk as he finished reviewing his plans for this class.

Finally he stood up and walked over making the class speak excitedly.

Harry stood before everyone. "Hello everyone I don't think I need to introduce myself but i will anyways my name is Harry Potter and I will be your Defense teacher for the remaining time of the year." He said

"Behind you is my assistant Umbridge." He said as everyone turned and found Umbridge sulking in the corner.

"Now let us overview exactly what has been taught to you this year as well as what is expected." Harry said

"Now I know your previous teacher was intent on filling you with theory. And while theory is good I'm of the mind that practical application' is the best teacher. Don't get me wrong it's a dangerous way to go about it which is why when I say wands out I don't want any silly flickering and talking. What I'm doing here is teaching you how to defend yourself both against beasts and dark wizards. If I see anyone fooling around while wands are out I will take it away and you will have to see me at the end of class for it back the first time. Second time it's Your head of house for it back, and third time and beyond it's the headmaster am I understood?"

"Yes professor!" The class said

Harry nodded "good. Now let's get off this dreary topic of punishment's and let's move onto what you know?" Harry said

After 10 mins of talking about theory and question's about the class Harry nodded

"Very well for the next class I want you to Read the textbook that your previous teacher gave you and I want you to find 3 things wrong with it. You should have a full page." Harry said as he turned to the board

"Now tell me what is the best spell to use to prevent an irritated animal magical or otherwise from attacking you?" Harry asked

The class left chattering they were covered in paint but they were happy. Harry after going on to test where everyone was apparently during Winter break many parents were teaching there kids how to defend themselves seeing as the other teacher was useless.

Harry sighed "that was Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw that means Gryffindor and Slytheryn's next." Harry said

By mid day news had gotten around the castle that Harry was the Defense teacher and a damn good one too. As he walked to get to the great hall the students passed by him and smiled and even a few second years who he just had were asking him questions

He had the first two years before lunch and each were covered with paint. Harry was happy that he didn't need to take anyone's wands away yet.

Harry sat down and Hermione and Ron looked Anxious

"How was it?" She asked

"Easy but I expect next class won't be as easy. I have first two years before lunch. Then after that I have 3rd years. Till dinner and that's just Monday.

So wednesday you have 4th and fifth 5th?" Ron asked

Harry nodded

"Yes which is good because I get out early and I can use that time for my own homework as well as grading papers. Unfortunately that means I have 6th and 7th years all day Friday which is a pain because it's all NEWT's." Harry said

"How will you deal with them?" Hermione asked

Harry shrugged "I'm thinking a patronus charm. I might bump it down to 6th and fifth year as well as because of the DA. Speaking of which put an announcement out first meeting back will occur this Saturday in my classroom. Which we will use for now on." Harry said

They nodded as Harry had to go back to teaching the classes. Ron and Hermione watched him go.

"He's overworking himself." Hermione said

"You did the same love." Ron said

"And it nearly killed me." Hermione said

"I don't think Harry is going to have that issue Ginny will rein him in." Ron said

Hermione sighed "I hope so."

Harry got into his Classroom and Taught the Gryffindor and Slytheryn's 3rd years many of them talking more anxiously about being taught by Harry than by the actual course.

That was until the Acuracy test.

Ironically by the time They left almost every wall was covered in paint.

There accuracy was abysmal. It was driving him insane.

He wrote a note to teach accurracy to the 3rd years and cleaned the mess up for the next class.

And if he thought that was bad then next class was worse.

Because it was Gryffindor and Slytheryn and it felt and acted like a mirror copy of his own Defense classes with Malfoy.

Harry had to take several wands away at the beginning as he noticed two Slytheryn's hexing a Girls Papers

"Accio!" Harry snapped clearly not up to the bullshit as he just finished describing his punishment system.

Both wands flew to his outstretched hand

"Mr Loftland and Mr Demim you will see me after class. Harry sneered if he wasn't so angry he'd laugh at the thought of Snape being impressed with his impersonation of him.

The two Slytheryn's nodded as Harry took a deep breath and continued talking.

Harry pulled the two students aside as they watched the rest of the class play Wizarding paintball and were looking extremely jelious especially when the girl they were bullying was in fact schooling everyone and being the only student in class to leave without paint on her at all.

Harry dismissed the class early so he could have a private word with the two boys. As he gave the assignment out

Now you two tell me how did it feel to watch that knowing that you could have participated had you not acted out?" Harry asked

The boys looked down guiltily and grumbled apologetically

Harry nodded but still angry. I will not tolerate bullying in my class next time that happens. I will take your wands away and hand them straight to the headmaster. And give you detention with filch on top of that. Before you get your wands back am I understood?" Harry asked

The boys nodded "yes Professor Potter." They said

"Good now get out I'll see you after dinner." Harry said

But our-." One kid started

"Out!" Harry said making the kids scamper away.

Umbridge looked impressed

"I never thought of taking wands away from students an interesting punishment. Surely came down on them a bit harsh don't you think?" Umbridge asked from her seat.

Harry shook his head "no I myself have been a target of bullying so I know exactly how it feels. I've watched those three for a while now and I know it's not an isolated incident. If I see it again I'm having a word with McGonigall no matter if I'm as a teacher or student." Harry hissed

"Self Justice is never the way Potter." Umbridge tisked trying at some point to get on his nerve. Just to annoy him and get back at him for everything.

Unfortunately Harry wasn't in the mood and he just hexed her. "Neither is stuffing your head in the ground with a beast about to eat you. Im almost thinking i should assign you the same homework as I did the class." Harry said

"I'm a full teacher here!" Umbridge snapped

"Your my assistant and your responsibilities is to help me teach the meterial. Something you can't do if you don't know it." Harry said

Umbridge was about to but back but Harry cut her off.

"Say one more thing and I'll assign you a two piece of parchment essay instead of the standard one!" Harry said

Umbridge froze. As Harry rose to his full hight.

"You will do well to remember your post Delorius. I'll give you common courtesy don't abuse it. I'm off to the bathroom I want you to let the students in when they arrive. And take attendance am I understood?" Harry asked

Delorius nodded

Harry bowed and left the class.

On his way back he heard chattering in the hall as he made his way over and found the next 3rd year Class he was supposed to teach waiting by the door.

"Why are you all standing here for?" Harry asked irritated

Everyone spun around fearful at Harry's anger.

"We-we can't get in Sir." One of the students said

Harry moved forward and tried to push open the door

No good it was locked

"Alohomora." Harry said

Harry growled as he checked his watch 3 mins late. He didn't have time for this.

"Everyone step back." Harry said as he looked around at everyone "consider this a lesson of negligence Wand usage. We will go over why later." He said as he pointed his wand at the door

"Bombarta!" He shouted

There was a loud crash as the door folded in on itself and went flying across the room

A loud "Eep!" Was heard as the two half's of the door landed on either side of the desk which Umbridge was sitting at covering into her hands.

"Delorius Umbridge!" Harry boomed as he stepped inside

"I told you I'd be in the bathroom and to allow the students in and take attendance while I did so. Not only was the door locked and all the students were waiting but now I'm…five minutes later than normal. Grrr EVERYONE TAKE A SEAT!" Harry snapped as he made his way to his desk

"Move." He hissed at Umbridge

She hopped out of the chair as he opened the desk and pulled out the attendance sheet. And started

By the time Harry was finished he had calmed down.

"Delorius you are to go into my office and wait there until I come and get you." Harry said

Delorius looked ready to argue but a glare from Harry sent her running

She didn't stop until she was past the doorway and she turned

"And what exactly am I supposed to do in here-?" She asked

However Harry flicked his wand and the door slammed shut with doom making everyone wince.

Harry sighed "Damn I hate her." He said

"My apologies class I'm afraid because i'm short on time now I'm unable to do the normal Q&A I've given the other classes. I'm going to give you the homework assignment and dive right into the lesson which is simply a one parchment paper on 3 things the previous textbook given by the last DADA professor was wrong and reasoning's why." He said

Having fully calmed down now he addressed the class once everyone finished writing the assignment

"Now the idea of Negligence Wand usage can anyone tell me why blasting the door down was an example of it?" Harry asked

A student raised there hand

"Go ahead." Harry said

"Because you have no idea what is on the other side." The girl said

"Your a Muggle born aren't you?" Harry asked

The girl nodded "my dad's a Bobbie." She said

Harry smiled "she's right class. Defense is about protecting yourself and those around you. You can't do that if your dead or your hurting another person trying to save them." Harry said

Harry was suprised he was able to fill the class with what was needed and gave them time to do the Paint ball test game before the end of class.

Harry sighed as he had just finished and was about to go to dinner when a knock came on the door to his office Harry opened it and Umbridge stepped out.

"Thank you." She said

Harry scoffed

"Don't mention it now get to dinner I don't want to see your face until Wednesday. And don't forget that essay!" Harry yelled after her as she ran down the hall.

Harry sighed as he laid his head on the desk

"Well well Harry, having trouble with Class's it seems?" A voice said as Harry looked up to see McGonigall looking in.

"What happened?" She asked

Harry looked towards the way Umbridge retreating form left as Merniva understood especially seeing as the two sides of the door.

"Well let's clean this up and we can head to dinner." Merniva said

Harry nodded as the two wisked the broken door away and headed down to the great hall.

"So how was your first day teaching?" Merniva asked

"Good I only had to take two wands away from a pair of 3rd year Slytheryn's. For bullying." Harry said

Merniva nodded "yes I heard of that. Infact I had those two right afterwards and they refused to participate I thought they were fooling around and not paying attention so I took house points. I feel I should give them back now." She said

Harry however shook his head "no they failed to participate in class so they deserve the deducted house points. I knew what I was doing when I took there wands away. I knew they would be unable to do any magic until tomorrow." Harry said

"Well many teachers are wondering what to do if that happens." Merniva said

"Just have them read the meterial or help figure out the theory. You can give them detention and have them do the practical stuff in there. That's what I'm going to do." Harry said

"Really?" Merniva asked

Harry nodded "this class saved my life I'm not going to have people Fooling around and getting hurt. Because no matter what that's just going to get you killed." Harry said as he walked through the great hall to see everyone's eyes on him.

Harry paused as Merniva stood next to him

"I did mention the fact that your teaching method began to spread right?" Harry nodded but he didn't expect it to be this fast.

Albus came over.

"Professor Potter I'm going to have to ask you join me in my office after Dinner." He said

"Can it occur at 8 im afraid I have detentions to serve out." Harry said

Albus he noticed didn't have his normal twinkle in his eyes

"Actually Professor that is the topic of the meeting."

Harry sighed he expected as such never had a punishment like his been fished out at Hogwarts and made it so other students couldn't do there work in class he expected Albus was going to ask him to tone down the Punishment's.

Harry nodded as Albus nodded and headed back to the staff table.

Harry sat and ate quietly as others were mumbling at how his class was done were jeering others were shocked

"Harry i think you were a bit to harsh for your first punishment." Hermione said

Harry sighed "I kinda figured Hermione."

"Ms granger doesn't understand the severity of it Harry was perfectly justified." Ginny said defending her Hisband

Harry put his fork down "I'm going to see The headmaster." I'll catch up with you later." Harry said as he left.

Harry entered the Headmaster office and found that many of the other Teachers were there as well.

"I thought this was a one on one meeting?" Harry said

"It originally was but I've decided to upgrade it to a general staff meeting. Harry I have to ask. How did you come up with such a…creative punishment?" Albus asked his twinkle in his eye returned full force.

Harry shrugged "mostly due to the fact that I know younger students seeing as others are having fun but they can't participate would make them change behavior as to not act out." Harry said

"And the severity of taking the wands away for the day?" Dumbledore said

"Originally I planned on only doing it to the end of class. Then I'd afterwards give it to the students head of house. Before finaly giving it to you Headmaster. However once I saw the bullying I immediately acted and I took the wands away. I plan on having them go over the activity we did in class on there own." Harry said

Albus nodded "interesting and you mentioned a case of bullying…that's unfortunate…and while I hate to have students unable to learn I have to say your compromise you told McGonigall seems quiet effective. I'd like to put it to a vote. All in favor for having Mr Potters punishment's become standard practice along side detention speak now." He said

Surprisingly the vote was a landslide in his favor.

Albus smiled "very well the taking away of wands of a day period will become standard practice. And any student without a wand and can't participate in class will lose house points. Tomorrow I will announce this update at breakfast." Dumbledore said

Harry stood up

"If you excuse me I need to give out my detention now." Harry said

Albus nodded "very well Professor Potter you are excused." He said

Harry left the other teachers looked at each other

"Harry is going to change the school with this punishment Headmaster for the better." Merniva said

"I'm sure this is just the beginning." Albus said

Harry got to his dorm and found Ron and the others chatting quitely

"So what's happened at The headmaster's?" Ron asked

"There will be an official announcement later but essentially it's become standard practice." Harry explained.

Harry smiled as he told them about the detention he has given and how it was less enthusiastic as the offical class. Instead of painting each other they painted targets instead

"Hopefully that will make people get the hint I'm not messing around in my class. Speaking of which how was classes today I'm afraid I missed so much." Harry said

"I took detailed notes for you Harry." Hermione said as he handed her notes to Harry

He smiled "if you have your own copy I'm going to read these quickly and turn in for the night." Harry said as he headed to his room. And off to bed

True enough the next day Albus gave an announcement about Professor Potter's punishment system had become standard practice and it will be enforced in all classes except those that do not require a wand. ( mostly potion's) and in fact other teachers have agreed to taken up the punishment system as well.

Eventually they were dismissed to there first class which was potions.

Harry sat in the class as Snape started to speak about Regents and polymorphs.

"This is a subject I'd thought most of you understood but apparently I've been misinformed therefore we will start back at the basics." He said as he spoke about the meterial

And the more Snape spoke the more the class understood why he was potions master. He knew his stuff he just didn't have a good way to express it.

Harry surprisingly noticed the more he talked about it the more he started to lighten up as well. Eventually at the end of the class giving a big smile. As he addressed the homework.

"Your paper is due next class. Class dismissed." He said cheerfully.

Harry stayed behind to talk and found Snape was happily changing out potion ingredient's from different bottle's he looked up to see Harry Snape smiled "ah Mr Potter, what can I do for you?" He asked

" I Um. I really enjoyed the class today." Harry said

Snape nodded "thank you Mr Potter I haven't taught that lesson in so long that I forgot about it and it's one of the many reasons I enjoy potion making so much." Snape said

Harry nodded "I think that showed sir." He said

Snape bowed "thank you Mr potter now off to class I believe it's charms next and I'm sure Professor Flitwick is going over several charms that would be useful in dueling today." He said

Harry bowed and ran out excited for Charms today.

Indeed Harry got to Charms class and indeed they were covering numerous Dueling spells.

"I've put a list of spells on the board please inform me if there is a spell you want me to cover in depth." He said

Harry recognized all the spells on the list say for the last one and as Flitwick talked about dueling spells Harry raised his hand which caused Flitwick to stop

"Mr Potter? I didn't expect you to have a question I'd figured you would know most of these spells." The teacher said

Harry nodded "indeed Sir I do however there is one that I've never heard of Vulnus Ictu." Harry said

Flitwick nodded "yes that makes sense as it's an spell that hasn't been used in a long time. A derivative of the cutting curse it translates to Deep gash. And the spells after pronouncing it sends a yellowish light. Once it hits the target flick your wand in any direction and like the name says a deep gash will form in that direction. It use to be very common in dueling until the cutting curse was invented then it later dropped use in favor of the quicker spell." The teacher said

Harry nodded and the class left Harry was last to leave

"Mr Potter?" Flitwick said

Harry turned

"Yes Professor." He asked

"Here is a list of spells which I think would be a good idea for you to cover in your classes I've broken them up by year for you." He said as he handed Harry a roll of parchment

Harry nodded "thank you Professor if I have any questions I'll come and see you." Harry said

Flitwick nodded as Harry left.

Lunch was a good break as Harry used much of that time beside eating filling out homework

"Is there a reason your doing this here Harry?" Hermione asked

Harry looked up "mostly because I've got the time." Harry said as he finished eating a while ago and was catching up on homework.

Hermione was going to try to argue but Ron cut her off and shook his head.

Hermione sighed as they went off to the next classes Harry hand in hand with Ginny.

Harry reached Ancient Runes and had an amazing class with Devon about how runes could be used to code messages even today because very few people took the time to understand them.

Finally dinner occurred and it was off to bed and full of a day of teaching tomorrow for Harry.

Harry woke up the next day had breakfast and let the class In on the same Lesson of Accuracy as he had done with the 3rd years. Which was really well comparatively Harry still managed to hand out a few pointers mostly about there grips and much of the problem's went away.

Then there was Ginny's class.

"Now listen up we've got a guest speaker coming and you are to listen to him. As he kicks you into shape no backtalk what so ever." She said as Harry walked in

"Harry!" Amilea said

Harry noticed the change of emotions amoung the arouras. As before they were distinctly bored

However when Harry walked in it was clear they were not bored anymore

"Hello I'm pretty sure you know who I am." Harry said retoricaly "we will get to work immediately." He said

Amilea nodded "come speak to me after." She said

Harry nodded and walked out.

"Now I'm not sure about you but I'm going to tell you what We are going to do first. As I have no idea what skills you've gotten so we are going to run through a few drills first to see what needs to be corrected and move on from there.

" Across the room is a Flag everyone see it?" Harry said everyone nodded

"Your task is to get the flag and get back here without getting Stunned." Harry said simply as he let them go.

He nearly groaned out loud as the first person just strode up to the flag without caution.

He only got 5 steps in before he was stunned by 15 spells.

Harry shut his eyes clearly this was going to be a long day.

Harry looked at the group and noticed that both Tonks and Sirius were not present. However he could ask where they were later for now he had arouras to whip into shape.

Finally the last one fell to stunner and Harry shut off the course and revived everyone.

"That…was pitiful… you sir how old are you

"I'm 30 sir." He said

"So you've been working here for a while I guess?" Harry asked

He nodded "tell me what's the procedure for a raid on a death eater establishment?"

Well first is yo confirm death eaters-."

"Intel already confirmed that for you, you have 3 hours to prepare a raid force and retrieve the objective!" Harry snapped losing patients

"Well I guess we go up and knock." He said

Harry felt his eye twitch and the urge to bash his head in.

"Alright you know what I need to speak to the minister while I'm gone I want you to Practice spell casting on these dummies." Harry summoned a few dummies.

"Get going." He said as he stomped off

Harry reached Amilea's office and her secretary

"I need to speak with Minister Bones immediately." Harry said

The secretary nodded and popped in before poping out again blushing

"She and Mr black are having a private moment aren't they?" Harry said

She nodded

Harry rolled his eyes

"Very well I'll let myself in. I'm afraid I can't wait." Harry said as he brushed open the door before she could stop him and was silenced by a loud shout from Harry.

"SIRIUS BLACK GET YOUR DICK OUT OF THE MINISTER THERE IS A WAR GOING ON!"

"Quiet crass." She said yo herself as the door shut

Harry sighed as the door shut

"Sirius I know your hungry but your supposed to use a plate not Minister bones!" Harry said

Suddenly a loud Bump was heard by the desk as Sirius appered from under the desk blushing

"Mr potter what can I do for you your quiet early?" Amilea asked

"I'm gonna be honest Amilea from my time already. If Voldemort were to attack The ministry tomorrow you can expect it to fall in 10 minutes." Harry said bluntly

Both adults paled

"That bad?" Sirius asked

"Worse. I don't think I can do this on my own." Harry said

"What do you need?" Amilea asked

"Several competent instructor's Sirius I'll accept. But I'd also prefer Moody." Harry said

"I will see what I can do." She said

Harry nodded and went back to teaching the arouras

He felt he was going to pop a blood vessel by the time he left.

He flooed back to Hogwarts and everyone was waiting in the great hall for him to arrive to begin the dueling lesson

Harry strode forward with an impression of Snape that would make him blush.

However that changed when he Spartan kicked the great hall doors and stomped in

"Alright all of you this just got a a lot harder because I'm mad, I'm tired and I don't think I've ever seen such an incompetent government and I Voted for them." Harry ranted as he stood where the staff table use to be

"Starting tonight this class and yes I'm calling it a class is Mandatory! I've just gotten back from working at the ministry and and they make you look like Adults with how they duel." He said

Everyone looked at each other and we're shocked so we're the teachers. We're they that bad?

"Now while the regular Defense against the dark arts Class goes I'm teaching you how to defend yourself in Numerous scenarios you may encounter " Harry said as he whipped his wand around and the doors slammed shut.

"Here I will teach you…how to Duel." He said with a wolffish grin.

"I need a volunteer someone who will put up a challenge." Harry said

Suddenly Snape stepped forward and across from potter looking unimpressed

"I don't know what you plan on doing Potter but I won't let you hurt any students unnecessary." Snape said in his drawl.

Harry shrugged "that's fine you're the perfect person I was looking for anyways." Harry said

Snape looked unnerved but nodded

"Two rules in this duel. No unforgivable's and the first one to Ensure the other cannot cast another spell is the winner." Harry said

"That's it?" Snape asked

Harry nodded "yes."

Snape nodded "I accept."

Harry smiled "very well Stupify!" Harry snapped

"Deffendo!" Snape countered before he leaned to the left to make Harry's spell fly past him

Snape looked back to see Harry was gone and his cloak was left behind on the dueling stage.

Snape walked forward and prodded it

No response

He lifted it and found a trap door under the stage

Harry was gone

Suddenly from his left a spell shot into view. He parried it and made it hit the roof.

"Endangering classmates Potter!" Snape warned.

"Do you think Voldemort will care?" Harry snapped as he appered behind Snape hanging upside down

"Because I know he won't." He said

Snape turned around and swatted at Harry which made him break into mist.

"He will fight dirty!" Harry's voice echoed as several spells flew at Snape from multiple directions. And his arm was bound

Snape quickly cut his bonds before Harry spoke again

"He will Be ruthless!" Harry said as more spells hit Snape

"He will not care!" Harry said as more spells hit Snape sending him to his knees

"Until total victory is achieved." Harry finished as Snape was forced to drop his wand.

"At all cost." Harry said as he pointed his wand at Snape

"So use all the dirty tricks you need to…because he certainly will…Stupify." Harry said as the stunned snapped hung in the bonds.

Harry addressed the class.

"I used spells besides the official dueling spells that were covered in the first year. Meaning everyone can do it. There should be no excuse as to why such a victory should not be achieved." Harry said as he revived Snape and freed him.

"Now there is one reason why Snape failed to hit me during the fight. Can anyone tell me what?" Harry said

No one answered

Until Dumbledore stepped forward

"You used his chivalrous natural against him." He said

Harry nodded

"Indeed I did. He announced at the beginning he didn't want to see Students hurt so I hid among you during the fight. Essentially in a single instance I held you all hostage." Harry said coldly

That made the room take a deep breath.

"That is something that I intend to fix. When you are in this room for this class Wands out at all time. Expect the unexpected. Even!" Harry said as he spun at and shot paint at Professor McGonigall which covered her Robes in bright yellow.

Harry looked up and sighed in disappointment.

"Even in the case of relative calm." Harry said

McGonigall looked humbled as he cleaned off her robes and kept her wand in hand at all times.

"Teachers I need you to spread out amongst students here and help them learn how to identify attacks. Use only the paint spell. Once that's done we will worry about Parrying and countering. And the timing those require.

Once we finish that it should be time to leave. Next Saturday we will begin to Expand the Students Arsenal of spells. Teachers during class I highly recommend you encourage your students to branch out when they are not doing coursework." Harry said

"Let's get to work, people!" Harry snapped

After an hour the entire school left to go to there dorms and spend the rest of the day together.

Harry walked towards Hermione "send a message to the DA through the coin's meeting tonight in the room." Harry said

Hermione nodded as Harry walked to Dumbledore

"If you have a way to gather the order please do so and summon them to the room of requirement at 8." Harry said

Albus looked at Harry intregued

"Urgent." Harry said

Albus didn't betray anything as he just nodded calmly

8 rolls around and Harry, Ginny, Ron, Hermione and Devon waited in the Room of Requirement.

Suddenly the door opened and the Order of the Phoenix contingent of the DA arrived

"Hello Harry." Albus said

"Suddenly Meriva arrived followed by the Gryffindor DA members.

Then Flitwick with the Ravenclaw's followed by Sprout

Then Lastly Snape with a handful of Slytheryn Students

Notably Blase, Greengrass, Davies, Malfoy, and a few other 4th years.

Harry nodded to Snape

Harry shut the door.

"From this moment on nothing said here leaves this room until those doors open this is the Deepest of the deep." Harry said

"Coming from the ministry. The war effort will take half a year to get the ministry ready for war. If Voldemort were to attack the ministry it would fall in 15 minutes maximum." Harry said

The entire room gasped

"For all intents and purposes we will Consider the Ministry Compromised." Harry said

"Not all." Devon said

"The department of mystery's is still loyal." He said

Harry turned to Devon his tone still dire

"And they are behind enemy lines I don't care what you need to do get them out of there." Harry said

"That's gonna be a tall order if we want it done quitely." Kingsley said

"Voldemort cannot know." Harry said

"As of now we are on our own. No help from the Ministry. No Aurora protection details. We have no idea when Voldemort will sally out of Azkaban. We need to prepare for every contingency." Harry said as he snapped his fingers and the War table appeared with 3 different Cork boards and millions of millions of red string

"This is every contingency." Harry said

"Holy crap." Draco said

Harry pointed to Draco

"Draco Tom still considers you loyal to him that good we need you there to give us information to his activities." Harry said as he turned to Snape

"Professor…"

"I'll protect him." He nodded without prompting.

Harry smiled "good. Then with that we can get to the real business everyone gather around, watch the string." Harry said as he walked past the complex web of Red and stood on the far side.

"What is this?" A Ravenclaw asked

"This was operation GoldenEye a project I had a loyal member of us partake in to give us a live action map of the British isles. Much like there other invention that gives us Grounds of Hogwarts." Harry said as he waved the marauders map.

"I will not disclose their names for I swear I'm up to go good." Harry said

Those who knew the Phrase gave knowing looks good each other.

Now we have two issues with this map. One the Relative location of Hogwarts and its surrounding area is inaccurate due to the wards the school has. Two which is honestly because the area was inaccessible and is even more now. Azkaban is not on the map." Harry said

"Then there's more." Sirius said

As he pointed to the south "London." He said

"As the center of magical Britain we should work on defending it. As well as the largest center of Muggles on the isle." Sirius said

Ginny shook her head "Harry just said the ministry is a lost cause. Our best bet is planned evacuation's if the ministry to a secure location. I'm thinking either potter mannor." Ginny said but Harry shook his head "I'd rather not with the amount of stuff is there love it was quiet hard enough preventing Voldemort into the Malfoy's and Snapes head much less he entire government." Harry said

However Albus stepped forward

"There are numerous unused rooms in Hogwarts. I'll be fully willing and accepting of them to be allowed here." He said

Harry nodded "thank you headmaster. I believe that will work very well." He said

"How we have several General targets that I can gather. This is according to The headmaster's records of the past war and what I can piece together of Voldemort war doctrine. He doesn't want to conquer by force. He will if he has to. But he knows he doesn't have the numbers for that. Even less now seeing as people are getting more ready for his arrival." Harry said

"So it's a battle of fear." Ron said

"Fear, Progenganda, information," Harry said

"But that's not much we can do." Cedric said

Harry nodded "it will be enough."

For now we need to come up with plans for evacuation's and to get people off the streets the minute Death eaters arrive." Harry said

"What targets do you suspect?" Albus asked

"Clearly Several raids of Diagon alley. First Gringotts because they need funds from somewhere. Then Ollivander's. I don't know why but it's just an urging of mine that he's important." Harry said

"After that we got Hogwarts. But that's no surprise seeing as both Myself and The headmaster Is here. Of course Tom doesn't know The order is disbanded and in the DA so Albus's death would be meaningless to the war effort. Not that we would let it happen anyways." Harry finished

"If I needed to be martyred so we can get a leg up on Tom I'll happily do it. I'm an old man I've had my time…" he said solemnly.

Harry sighed "Damn. Very well I have no doubt Ollivander will have to go into hiding we will have to make another wand shop open for new students." Harry said

"I think we can move him to Hogsmead. On the first day they are there we can send the students into Hogsmead to gather all the stuff they couldn't grab when in London." Merniva said

Albus nodded "yes and I believe we have a large stockpile of wands we can hand out to students as well." He said

Harry nodded as he looked among the table and Found Draco looking at one spot on the map

"Draco is there something you wanna tell us?" Harry asked

Voldemort won't attack Gringotts. Or if he does it's a front." He said

Everyone paused

"How do you know?" Someone asked

There was a pause as Snape spoke

"The dark lord has taken all of the Malfoy's family holdings." He said

"That explains the invasion of Azkaban." Hermione said

"He thought we knew already so he bailed before we could plan a raid on them." Ron said out loud

"Well he won't have anything left to come back to if he left anything behind." Arthur said as he gripped Draco's shoulder "don't worry son, we'll take care of you." He said as he left the room with several Arouras to raid Malfoy mannor

"What do we do for now Harry?" Ron asked

Harry sighed "the only thing we can do is gather Allie's." Harry said

"I've sent Hagrid off to speak to the other giants unfortunately he came back empty handed." Albus said

"What about the other races?" Ron asked

"I've not spoken to the goblins recently. Nor the elves. Nor the centaurs." Harry said

"The forbidden forest has a new contingent of Elves living there. Surprisingly once they made contact with the forest the trees started to liven up. As if a dark cloud was washed away."

Harry sighed

"Yeah but that's Elven Realm I doubt they will just accept something passing hoping to seek an audience." Harry said

"Your right…they won't accept just anyone but of course your not just anyone Harry." Albus said

"I will go tomorrow alone." Harry said

"No you won't…together." Ginny argued holding Harry's hand which made her husband smile.

Albus nodded "then I shall prepare a schedule that best suited for trips to Diagon alley for the goblins and any other race you wish to see." Albus said

Harry nodded "then that's for the three major key defensive points we need to hold. Does anyone else have any updates?" Harry asked

There were none as Harry stood up "very well." In that case we have the major battlefields planned out. So we have the choice." Harry said as he opened up portals to different places

"Diagon Alley, Hogsmead and The castle, Castle siege, or ministry, which battlefield do you want to run through?" Harry asked

"Wait run though?" Cedric asked

"I'm compintent enough that I can go toe to toe with death eaters easily. So can the order but the Rest of the DA haven't gone through live fire exercises yet except for training. Yes it's good but you don't know the chaotic of the battlefield until you face it." Harry said

Cedric nodded

They chose Diagon alley as that was what was believed to be the next possible attack so they wanted to be prepared

Harry turned to Albus.

"Would you mind the Order filling in for death eaters?" Harry asked

Albus smiled

"I wouldn't mind." He said

"Ok have the order members go into this tent. Your task when we start is to cause as much chaos as possible. You know how Tom works.

DA your with me in the other tent as we figure out our strategy." Harry said

As he entered the tent he saw Ron and Hermione already pouring over the map of the ally with Ron racking his brain.

"Damn it there are too many openings." He hissed

"What's the issue?" Cedric asked

Ron looked up

"Every shop in Diagon alley is attached to the floo network. Meaning they can come out of any direction. And flank us we don't know the force composition of the death eaters so we don't know if to expect a counter attack." Ron ranted

"Ron focus on the task at hand." Harry said

"I am Harry!" Ron yelled looking up revealing the amount of stress he was under

Harry wisely kept quiet and let his strategists work.

"For now we move in as teams of two make our way up the center alley to Gringotts. If the fighting hasn't started. If it has then we locate where it is and we barrage that area to either pin the forces down or force their retreat." Ron said

Harry nodded

"And if a counter attack is raised?" Harry asked

"Then we either send you in to turn the tide back to us. Or figure out where it's coming from and make that floo inoperable under any means." Ron said

The others nodded they had a game plan.

In the order tent they were joking around

"And so I told Gwaine that his robes were pink I swear I'm sure he caught me his scream from the restroom was amazing!" Sirius said

The others laughed

"So what's the plan for us to maximize our damage?" Kingsley asked

"Quick barrage. Hit and run don't stay in one location for too long." Dumbledore said simply.

Sirius and Kingsley looked at each other worried 'did Dumbledore even know what he was up against?'

Finally the Bell sounded for The game begin.

"All spells are Available except the killing curse and unforgivables. Now before we begin I'd like to explain the scoring.

As you can see inside every shop there are 3-5 different Target dummies. The goal of the Death eaters is to kill as many civilians as possible. The DA is to evacuate as many civilians as possible. And or stop the death eaters from causing more death." If the DA is able to evacuate more than 50% of the civilians by the 30 minute mark then they win otherwise the point goes to The death eaters. After this round we will switch and the DA will become that rounds death eaters." Harry said

He turned to Dumbledore.

"Shall we flip to determine who will start in the field first?" Harry asked

Dumbledore nodded as Harry drew a gallion from his pocket

"Call it in the air." Harry said as he flipped the coin

"Heads." Albus said

Harry caught it and slapped it on the back of his wrist

"Heads you deploy first." Harry said

Dumbledore nodded "give us 5 minutes to ge ready." He said

Harry nodded "when the alarm goes off the game is live." Harry said as he made his way back to the tent

Upon entering he heard Ron give more detailed instructions

"Fred George I want you on the top floor of what's planned to be your shop, your to be lookouts call out any death eaters you see.

Cedric you pick a team of five and lead them down to Gringottes then turn once you get to Ollivander's. Turn around if you haven't taken wand fire scatter into the shops and pull out civic as fast as you can lead them to the leaky cauldron." Harry said

"In a real invasion we'd have them just floo away but we can consider this as training for if the network is shut down or tagged." Harry said

Everyone nodded

Ron you take a group and send them down knockturn alley we will consider this a primary source of Death eaters during the assault. And we will always have the place under watch." Harry said

Hermione you lead a third team to the bank of Gringotts and guard the steps raise defensive barriers and make sure no one gets in." Harry said

"That's three teams. Honestly the Alley isn't a complex layout so that should be fine It's more of Hogsmead and the Castle that I'm worried about." Harry said

"What about the ministry we don't have a single plan for that either?" Ron said

"We will cross that later for right now focus. Ginny you stay with me the rest of you choose your teams you've got 2 minutes left before the game begins." Harry said

"What about you what will you do?" Ron asked

"If Albus shows his face I'll counter him he's about equal strength to Tom so it will be a good comparison." Harry said

Everyone nodded.

Finally the Alarm went off and the game begun funny enough the Order death eaters did exit all at once from knockturn alley.

But not before Fred and George got in the high building and sent a message to Harry and the others. From patronus's

In the leaky cauldron everyone was waiting when the twins Patronus came in "death eaters in knockturn." It said before fading

Harry snapped into Action "Ron take your team. Block up knockturn! Cedric evacuate those you can Hermione Gringotts go! go! go!" Harry said as he ran out the door the rest of the DA on his heels

"First squad with me!" Ron said as he passed the joke shop.

"Bro!" Fred said from the second story of the ship

Ron turned back in time to catch a tiny package a portable swamp.

Ron nodded as ran off to join the others

At the entrance of the alley Ron ran up as shamus and Dean were pinned on either side of the alley as Cho and Luna tried to cast Shield charms to give them openings to retaliate

Cho was pulled back in time by Neville. As a spell flew past her head

"It's no use trying to shield." He said

Ron nodded "consider these killing spells anyways." Ron looked back

"Try to block there line of sight from the rest of the alley!" Ron said

"They won't give us the chance!" Luna said

"We need to do something otherwise we can't get anyone out!" Ron said

In knockturn alley Kingsley and Sirius were barraging spellfire

"We need to push out of here!" He said

"Charge!" Sirius said as he started to run forward

Back with the DA they heard the order death eaters shouting.

"There charging!" Neville said

"We can't get the barrier up under this pressure!" Cho said

Ron nodded

"I wanted to Save this for an emergency but I guess I need to." He thought to himself as he activated the portable swamp and threw it down the alley

"Get back!" Ron yelled as he hid behind the shop

The thing exploded and several order death eaters including Sirius were swamped

"Yes that should buy us some time." Ron said

Suddenly Harry's Prongs appered

"Ron I saw the swamp good work keep them busy there and help others funnel the Civilians into the Calderon."

Ron nodded "you got your orders! Neville, Sheamus, Dean, stay here everyone else go Shop to shop evacuating everyone!" Ron said as he headed back towards the open alley.

'Where's Devon when you need him?' Ron asked himself as he ran

Devon was with Harry and Ginny overseeing the battle on a live map in the caldron

"There Hermione just evacuated Ollivander." Devon pointed to the map.

"Ok then we need to barricade Gringotts and then-." Harry said when suddenly Devon Stood up

"Fuck!" He hissed

"What?" Harry asked

"Dumbledore is on the field." He said pointing.

Harry looked and noticed Albus standing in the middle of the Alley

Harry and Ginny didn't even need to look at each other as they walked out the Door.

In the middle of the street stod Albus Dumbledore As calm as could be. Harry figured if he could Smoke he'd have a pipe in his mouth.

'Too much like Gandalf for my Sense.' Ginny said mentally

"Hello Harry ." He said calmly.

"Headmaster…" Harry said he nodded to both Ron and Cedric as they rushed about trying to evacuate more people

"Ah the honorable fellow. I'd almost praise you Harry. However I'm most certainly trying to play the villain…and I'm definitely not going to not play my part." He said as he waved his wand behind him and made the portable swamp vanish

The order death eaters swarmed the alley and lit up shops with spell fire and we're countered by the DA's spells while others pulled the civilians out.

"I assume you don't just want to watch our forces work?" Harry asked

"Oh no that wouldn't be fun. Why not perhaps steal the show." Albus said as he cast the first spell.

Harry parried it non-verbally and struck with just as much force as Albus

The wizards were like artists and the spells were the art form.

While others would slash and jolt about Willy nillly Harry and Albus expended no extra effort no extra actions were taken. They were focus determined.

They were warriors.

"You have a lot of skills Harry. Unfortunately for you your Allie's don't." Albus said

Suddenly Harry looked over as he heard a scream as Cedric fell to the floor stunned.

Albus used that destraction to overpower Harry and his defenses as hr stood over him much of the alley froze watching the conclusion.

You are a great duelist Harry probably better than me when I faced Grindelwald but there is one thing I'm surprised about that confused me to no end. Every time you fight you don't have backup." Albus said as he scanned the DA everyone was accounted for

However this made Harry laugh which made him get more vigilant l.

"Oh Albus don't you know…" Harry said

Albus looked around as he realized something: 'where was Ginny Potter?'

He was fortunately given the answer as a large aura appered behind him.

"He always has backup!" The voice of Ginny said

Both of them fired spells at Albus at the same time.

Albus forced to dodge as they cornered him in a line each one taking up 180 field of view so he couldn't fight both at once especially when they fired there spells at the same time.

Albus fled to the left trying to get distance so he could see both in his peripheral vision.

Unfortunately they wouldn't let him

It no longer became a battle of better spells

It was positioning and tactical movements.

Something Harry instilled into the DA hard.

Harry and Ginny were just about to finish off Albus when the buzzer went off signaling the match end.

"That's time. Let's see the dead!" Harry announced as the numbers appeared in the air.

Civilian dead: 23/50

Harry smiled "the DA wins the first round!" He said

There was cheers amongst the DA.

Harry smiled "perhaps another round?" Harry asked Dumbledore

Dumbledore nodded "I think we will have a better chance now that we know your tricks." He said

With his point made Harry started to drill the order members on the tactical effectiveness of pre battlefield and During-battlefield positioning and movement.

Well he started the lecture but gave Ron the floor once he noticed he was antsy enough

And he was glad he did because from his best firend even he learned something.

"If you can control the Entrances and exits of a battlefield like This where your in the village as all of them are choke points you win. That's what we did the first game with the swamp. If we had more time or manpower. We could've just sat there and took you all out like fish in a barrel." Ron said

Harry told Ron to make battlefield plans for each one of the battles they expect before he sent them off. Leaving Harry and Ginny alone

As they moved to the couch as the ruins of Diagon alley gave way. Ginny came onto Harry hard desprate for the belt to come off Harry smiled as how lusty she's been.

"Well it's been a full week. And I've been very impressed that you've held out for so long." As Harry went to undo the chastity belt on Ginny she raised her hand.

"One moment. One I've never got to pass my final test." Ginny said

"Ginny." Harry said But Ginny threw her arms around him next and wispered lustifly in his ear

"Besides I've wanted to try something. And I know you do to." Ginny said

Harry looked back "name it." He said

"I'd say keep the belt on for at least another week. Until I can finally satisfy you with my throat only. Until then. I'd…well I'd want an enchantment like the chasitity but without the belt." Ginny said

Harry drew back.

"You want me to abuse you like that?" Harry said

"Desperately so." She said

Harry sighed

"And you'd use a safe word if needed?" Harry asked

Voldemort laughed "farewell Harry you've always have been a pain in my side." Voldemort said as he apprated away.

Harry was unable to stop his escape trying as much as he could to stablize the spell before it went haywire and blew up Diagon alley.

With The death eater attack stopped everyone started to come back out.

Harry barked orders frantically

"KEEP THEM INSIDE!" He roared

Devon ran yo Harry

"What's happening?!" He asked

"I'm losing control of this spell I can't hold it much longer and if I do the entire alley will explode." Harry said

"That will make a magical nuclear winter." Devon said

"You think I don't know that Devon!" Harry hissed as he tried to gain control over it.

"I'm got have to let it go." Harry said growing tired from the amount of effort it's taking on him.

"But there isn't anyplace to go." Devon said

"There's one." Harry said looking up

"In order to do that and not be seen by muggles your going to have to send that to the stratosphere. Can't you control it that long?" Devon asked

"I have to…Devon I need you to catch me." Harry said

Devon looked at Harry confused

"What are you talking about-?" He asked

However Harry just bent his knees and jumped as high as he could with the spell flying with him

"Oh you son of a bitch." Devon sighed

"Excuse me." A voice said

Devon turned to find Girreck Ollivander standing before Devon.

"Is that Mr potters wand at your feet?" He asked

Devon looked down and indeed he found that Harry's wand was indeed by his feet.

"Yes it is. In fact we were coming here to see if you could help repair it." Devon said

"Repairing wands is a lot harder that making a new one are you sure you just don't want that?" He asked

"It's a matter of national security that Harry Potter gets that wand repaired.

Ollivander nodded "I see…very well I will get this done as soon as possible." He said as he walked back into his half blown up wand shop without another word.

Devon looked up when a loud explosion in the sky occurred and the spell exploded

Devon as well as everyone else watched for a few seconds before they noticed an object falling back down to earth.

Or more like a body..

Harry Potter was in a free fall knocked out.

"Oh you son of a bitch!" Devon said as he ran into the Broom shop and grabbed the Nearest broom he could.

"Sorry but I need this I'll pay it back if it's damaged!" Devon said as he flew out of the shop and into the air.

Devon shot off like a rocket towards Harry he grit his teeth he wasn't the best at quidditch opting for other fields but he was decent at it or as he believed.

Harry was getting to the point of terminal velocity and Devon's window for saving Harry was closing fast.

Devon pushed the broom harder and faster more than he or the company expected the broom to go.

Because Devon unknowingly grabbed a firebolt.

Unknown to Devon the back end of the broom started to catch on fire.

Devon was to focused on grabbing Harry and slowing his decent he didn't care.

He grabbed Harry in his arm as the broom lost all monumentum and both started free falling.

Devon noticed the ground coming up quick

'Damn it Harry I need to make more of this.' Devon said as he uncorked the last of the kinetic nullifier and poured half of it into Harry and half into himself

Just as the ground impacted them.

Devon felt all of his bones hurt then slap themselves into place again and again and again for the next five minutes as bounced off the pavement hard he groaned from the headache as he looked to see the order members staring at from a distant tunnel.

Wait that wasn't a tunnel that was the crater he made

Devon stood up and rubbed his eyes

Apparently it was a deep crater being at least 12 feet deep.

Devon climbed up out of the crater into awaiting arms.

However Harry did not…

He was still knocked out.

Devon sighed as the auroras arrived to clean up the mess allowing the order members to rush Harry to the hospital wing.

The damage was catastrophic. Half the alley was unusable

The other half wasn't even there.

And within a week time. Magickal radiation would start falling back down to earth

The public outlook of Harry Potter just took a fucking nosedive.

Back at Hogwarts castle Albus sat in his office thinking as Severus Snape rushed into his office

"Albus!" He panted

Dumbledore stood up

"What happened!?" He asked

Snape tried to gain control of his breathing and answer the headmaster

"A-attack. P-potter b-blew up the- the alley." Snape said ruggedly.

After a few moments Snape was able to convey the full message

This sent Dumbledore ashen.

The power of Harry Potter had grown to great.

To the point where Harry practically destroyed Diagon alley by just crashing into it from orbit.

And the fact that He hand Voldemort were supposed to fight at least another time.

One thing Dumbledore knew for certain

Harry and Voldemort could not fight again…

The earth would not survive if they did.

But if that's true. Then the prophecy…

Oh shit the prophecy…

Albus grabbed his head.

"We've lost the war." He said

Severus stood shocked

"What?" He asked

Albus sighed "Severus…I've finally understood why Voldemort didn't die the night he went to the Potters." He said

"Well that's good right?" Snape asked

"No…it means we are heading to total destruction…" Albus said

Albus finally filled Snape in about the hurcrux's by the end Snape was horrified

"If Harry dies…" Snape said

Dumbledore nodded

"Is there anything we can do?" He asked

"If there is, I don't know of it. Harry needs to die to kill Voldemort…but if so ginny becomes worse…" Albus said

Snape stood up "after speaking with Lily potter at potter manor I have a feeling that I'm not the best mind for potions. With lily potters help I may be able to make a potion to save Harry's life."

Albus stood up hard

"Severus your full time job now is to research that potion!" He said

"But Sir!" Snape said

"For the wizarding world No the entire world. I beg you please." He said

Snape nodded "I'm going to have to be very cruel to my students again." He said

Albus nodded "I know. But it's for the greater good. You have permission and next year you will no longer be potions teacher. You will still be at the castle but your full time job will be making that potion." Albus said

"That will be suspicious." Snape said

"Let me handle that my boy you just worry about making that potion to save Harry." Albus said

Snape nodded and left. The office

Albus sighed "why has magick forsaken us?" Albus asked out loud.

His everlasting Phoenix cawed to calm his nerves

But for the first time ever the call went unanswered…

Holy shit this was deep

This was supposed to be a month of the year and this is effectively a long hyper chapter there are like 3 chapters worth of context and lord in here ( and regretably some repeating lore) but I'll fix that on a future rewrite.

For now enjoy the chapter. And I promise next one won't be so long of a wait ( hopefully)
