CHAPTER 4: A TRAINING TRIP THROUGH MEMORY LANE

Even with Deku's slight changes thanks to my meddling, he still got chosen as All Might's successor.

I figured that was the case since he and I didn't meet after school anymore after All Might saved me from that sludge villain. When I asked, he just said "Sorry Kacchan, I can't make it. Maybe another day."

Sure, we still talked over the phone in the evenings, but it just wasn't the same as hanging out in person.

I sighed. Letting myself get taken by the sludge Villain may have been humiliating looking back on it, but knowledge won't help if you aren't able to match them. I'm roughly at canon Bakugo's level the way I am currently, and if he couldn't beat the living cesspool, odds are I couldn't either.

I was on my way home from school as I pondered this, about two months into Deku's training, the boy himself was absent and as such it was fairly quiet, which is why as I was walking by an alleyway I heard something. It sounded like…someone talking to themselves?

"Why can't they just let me be me? I only want to do whatever I want..."

I grasped the kunai in my pocket in case this was a trap. Walking slowly towards the source of the voice, I peeked behind a dumpster.

"Go away! I don't want to play right now!" The voice spoke before I barely brought up my kunai in time to deflect the object thrown at me. It clattered on the pavement. It was a knife. An oddly familiar knife.

I looked behind the dumpster to see the baggy, yellow eyes of the person who was apparently talking to themselves. She wore a beige sweater that looked a size too big, and a black skirt above grey leggings and black shoes. A red handkerchief adorned her neck as she tried to curl into herself.

Oh dear lord. Himiko Toga.

I kept a grip on the kunai as I slowly approached, an idea beginning to form. "Hey, it's okay. I'm not here to hurt you."

Toga's yellow eyes fixed on mine, full of subdued fear and rage. "That's what they all say. They suppressed me and feared me away because they thought I was a freak. They all do."

A twisted grin appeared on her face as she appeared to observe me. "You look kinda cute though. I think I'd like your blood."

This was… unusual. Usually, Toga was happily psychotic. I guess even she has her days she just needs to break down, but… wait, what?

She darted into me, tackling me to the ground and retrieving her knife from where it lay, which wasn't far from where she tackled me.

Me, I was caught off guard, but that didn't mean I wasn't ready to fight for my life. "My name's Toga! What's yours?"

I grabbed and held her wrist to keep the knife away as she pushed down. "I'm Bakugo. Listen, I get the feeling you've been through a lot, but can we just sit and talk this out? I still want to go home to my family."

She pushed even harder, causing me to push harder back. If I couldn't match her, how could I go up against Dabi or Shigaraki? I'm still at roughly the same level as canon Bakugo, maybe a little stronger with my 'upgrade', and knowing what my foe can do doesn't mean I can reliably counter.

She gained a sadistic smile, her cheeks reddening. "I'll leave you alive. I just remembered the other day how delicious and beautiful blood is. Let me have some of yours!"

I pulled my knees in and pushed, sending her to the ground on my left thanks to her pushing. Acting quickly, I got on top of her, pinning her knife arm and raising my kunai to her throat and activating Sword Skill, the small blade glowing as if heated blue as I spoke. Thank goodness I've learned to control my output. "You need a person's blood to use your Quirk, don't you? That won't work if I don't let you cut me, so please, let's talk this out. I want to help."

The blonde struggled for a few moments before sighing. "Fine, but only if you promise to give me some of your blood afterwards."

I sighed. "First, talk. Then blood." I never thought those would be words coming out of my mouth.

I mentally reviewed what I knew as I slowly drew away. She developed a fascination with blood and becoming the people the liked, probably thanks to her Quirk. Her parents forced her to suppress her urges instead of reasoning with her and explaining why what she did was wrong. She attacked a boy with a box cutter upon seeing his blood and bruises, which reignited her impulses. From the sound of it, this isn't long after the incident. Two, maybe three days I figure. She was still attending middle school when it happened, and she's around mine and Deku's age.

Toga sat against the brick wall, perhaps the knowledge that I had a blade too and was skilled enough to deflect was what kept her from killing me as I sat against the wall across from her.

"Alright then, Toga, you said blood was beautiful and delicious earlier… what happened to make you think that?"

She shrugged, her cheeks still pink and her smile still as psychotic as ever. "I dunno. Ever since I was little, I always appreciated the beauty of blood. Harming other people and becoming more like the people I love… oh, it's paradise…"

"Uh…huh. Well, as, er, interesting as blood is, you shouldn't just attack and kill people for it."

"Why not? Would they give it up willingly?"

I sighed. "Well, it depends on the person. It also depends on who your friends are."

The yellow-eyed girl cocked her head. "When you like someone, you want to be more like them, right? My Quirk lets me do just that. They also look so pretty when they're dead."

I paused. I could think of one person in this world I wanted dead, but he doesn't reveal himself until much later. "True, but they can no longer be your friend if they're dead."

Toga's smile shrunk a tiny bit, but a noticeable bit. "If they die, they die as my friend. No chance of abandoning me."

I gave a light frown at that. "A friend is someone you want to spend a lot of time with, someone you could see talking about stuff you're interested in with. Friends don't kill friends or try to take their blood without permission."

Toga didn't look convinced, but I did notice her cheeks were slowly returning to normal. "The people I thought were my friends all abandoned me when I showed them what I really like to do. That bleeding boy looked so amazing covered in blood and bruises like that, I just couldn't stop myself from picking up that box cutter to see more."

I knew it. "If those people abandoned you because of your oddities, they were never really your friends. Friends look out for each other and trust one another, they don't kill each other. Instead, friends are usually willing to give their lives to protect and help one another."

Toga shrugged. I dunno if I was getting through to her. "Have you ever actually had a friend, or are you just saying all this?"

I nodded. "Yeah, I have a friend. A best friend, actually. We practically grew up together, training, catching Villain fights, observing Heroes, the works. Sure, we've picked up traits from one another, but we've always kept our own personalities. He's more nervous and analytical, while I'm more battle-hungry and imaginative."

Toga seemed to mull it over a little bit. But only a little bit. "My Quirk lets me turn into people I like but only if I drink their blood. Even if I wanted to stop, which I don't, I would be acting like I'm Quirkless. My Quirk just feeds my desire for blood, and now it's seen as a Villain's Quirk, especially by my parents."

I raised my hands, igniting Sword Skill in the left and a few small explosions crackling in the right. "My two Quirks are only good for destruction. If destructive powers like mine can be seen as heroic, why not yours? I can actually think of a few uses for a Quirk like yours."

She cocked her head as I stopped my Quirks. "Why do you have two? I heard an urban legend about a guy who can give and take Quirks, is he real?"

I paused. How could I go about this… um… "I've never met the guy, but rumour has it he's real. Anyway, your Quirk would work pretty well as a Hero's Quirk. If there's blood at a crime scene, for example, you could ingest it to find out who it belongs to. Or in a fight where there's bound to be a lot of bleeding, you can copy the Villain and fight fire with fire. And that's just off the top of my head."

The yellow-eyed psycho seemed to think about this for a moment, before shrugging. "Eh, I don't really want to be a Hero. Too little blood and bodies and too many rules. I want to do what I want when I want to."

She had maintained her freaky grin through the whole conversation. Perhaps the promise of blood was what was keeping that there and she wasn't really absorbing what I was saying, I dunno. "Look, I can't stop you from making your own choices, but there has to be some level of restraint involved. Also, you could become a vigilante and fight bonafide Villains if you really must see blood and be lawless."

Part of me was screaming at me to not let her kill, even if they were Villains, but the rational part also took control. The timeline had to stay predictable, even if was subject to change thanks to my interference. And if there was a way I could save Toga and her friend-to-be Twice from their fate, all the better. Not that I knew much about Twice's death, only that it happens sometime after High-End.

She stood, prompting me to stand as well to keep on equal footing. "I don't really care who dies, as long as there's blood."

She raised her knife and pointed it at me. "Now, we had a deal."

I sighed and nodded, rolling up my uniform sleeve. "Right, right. Just keep what I said in mind, okay? All life is precious, regardless of Quirks or what others think."

I raised my kunai to a spot on my forearm where there were no visible veins or arteries and stabbed. Not very deep mind you, a few millimeters, but deep enough to draw blood and make me wince. But this was a small price to pay for leaving here without resembling a horror movie victim.

Toga's eyes widened marginally before her mouth latched onto my wound, sucking on it eagerly like a child on a fast food straw. I pulled off my backpack with my free hand, which was hanging over my free shoulder and was semi-flattened in the earlier tussle, and reached to undo the zipper. When I tried reaching the wounded arm around to help unzip, there was a little bit of resistance as Toga kept a grip, resembling a cat that wouldn't let go of a toy it liked.

Fishing out the first-aid kit I had in there, I gently tapped the blonde's forehead. "All right, that's enough. I'll need to apply first aid before it gets too infected."

She started a little at my tapping, almost like she was in some kind of trance. After a couple of seconds, she raised her knife to draw more blood.

This time though, I saw it coming and was prepared to act. Dropping the kit and grabbing her wrist with my now-free hand, I looked into her eyes and spoke with a touch of warning in my voice.

"Toga, let go. If you want me to be your friend, attacking me outside of a spar is not the way to go about it."

She begrudgingly let go before morphing into a carbon copy of me.

I stared, amazed. It was one thing to see it animated, entirely another to see the real deal. "Woah…"

Toga-me smiled before raising her hand and letting loose a small explosion. She can simulate Quirks? Why wasn't I aware of this? In the provisional license exam, when she infiltrated as Cammie, Cammie's Quirk was never used. I guess she wanted to partially reveal herself to Deku to reveal Transform as her Quirk? I dunno, she's a crazy person, and I'm hardly a psychologist.

"Your Quirks are really powerful. I can just feel the strength in this body." The blonde double was looking herself over, Sword Skill active in her left hand as I wrapped my wound.

I wasn't all that strong yet. I would likely still lose to some of the League members I knew of, and it's doubtful I could match a ranged beast like Todoroki without support, even with AP Shot, which I don't plan to develop until later. "I'm fairly strong, I guess, but I haven't really had any formal training. Mostly it's just been my best friend and I."

Toga-me seemed surprised. "Are you kidding? You feel like the strongest boy I know! I want more of your blood."

I rolled my sleeve back down, covering the stab wound and hopefully Mom wouldn't notice it. "Well, I should probably get going. Mom is probably wondering why I'm not home yet. It's been… interesting talking to you, Toga."

As I smiled and turned to leave the alley, a duplicate of my arm grabbed my real arm. I turned to see a look on Toga's face that told me she didn't want me to leave quite yet. "Can I at least have some more of your blood before you go? I want to be you again later."

I gently grasped her wrist. "Not this time. If I give you too much blood, I'm liable to pass out. Besides, I still want to talk to you again, Toga. Same time, same place tomorrow?"

She paused for a moment, before smiling. "Sure. Does this mean we're friends now?"

It was my turn to pause for a moment. "Yeah, I guess it does."

Over the next two months, Toga and I met off and on. I kept trying to convince her, since I couldn't just do nothing when I can befriend a future Villain. Mom thought I was just taking extra long on my walks and seemed to leave well enough alone. Dad did as well, since he was rather afraid of Mom and didn't want to cause an argument. Luckily for me, they weren't on my case all the time because they trusted me, and when I brushed off my wrapped wounds as training injuries, they didn't pry. Ah, the advantages of not being a total jerk to everyone.

Let's see… Deku and All Might would have six months of training left, so I would probably have to wait for a while yet.

I plan to reveal my secret to them, the knowledge that I'm reborn. Only thing is, if I go too early, All Might may rescind his decision to make Deku his successor, if he thinks Deku told me. And we're best friends, so the odds of him thinking that would be pretty high should we meet. Deku can't lie to save his life... perhaps after classes at UA begin? Yeah, definitely. But that just raises the question of when. I can give them the necessary knowledge, and I can help Deku with training, but when should I let them know about me? The real me?

Especially Deku. If I told him about this, what kind of effect would it have on him? I wouldn't tell them everything, but I could at least prove my past existence with my knowledge of things that I, by all accounts, shouldn't know about.

I was pondering these things as I was wandering through the forest not far from my place. I needed somewhere quiet to think, and this was it. I was wandering quite a ways from where Deku and I trained before he was chosen, surprised at how much of the forest I didn't really remember exploring.

For example, I don't recall there being three or four fallen trees here. I examined them more closely. They were splintered but there was a massive indent in all of them. It was as if something big had hit them. A large tail, or maybe some kind giant fist?

Based on the angle, it came from… another training clearing?

I stepped cautiously into the clearing. There were a few beaten-up wooden martial arts dummies standing, along with a pile of shattered scrap wood which I assumed was once other dummies, near the east edge. A punching bag hung from a tree, along with a few bags of something on the ground, near the west edge. The trees surrounding the area were all dented or damaged in some form or fashion, and to top it off there appeared to be training weights sitting in a heap on the north edge, much heavier ones than I was currently using.

As I stared around, walking closer to the center, I began piecing together who this could belong to. A punching bag, trees that were damaged consistent with something big striking them, a few martial arts dummies, and a partridge in a pear tree. There was one person who could be training here of all places.

"Hey!"

Speak of the devil. I turned to the source of the voice to see Itsuka Kendo walking up to me through the trees. And wow, she was pretty… wait, why did I think that?

"Are you lost? I haven't seen anyone else in this part of the woods before."

She lives near here? I mean, I didn't know much about her other than being kind and fair, so that's indeed possible. "I was re-exploring the forest, when I happened to stumble across this place. I'm guessing the three or four smashed trees were your doing?"

The redhead glanced to the side. "Yeah. I was practicing a few moves my dad showed me and I accidentally punched them."

I cocked my head, playing dumb. "Punched them? Whatever hit those trees had to be much bigger… or is your Quirk some type of kinetic energy deal?"

She grinned and enlarged her hands. I jumped a little. "My Quirk lets me enlarge my hands. I'm also working on my strength so I can use them effectively when I enroll at UA."

I looked at them, amazed. Sure, it wasn't too flashy, but it could have a few uses, battle being one of them. "Cool. And since we're showing off Quirks…"

I raised my hands and used Explosion, created beach-ball sized explosions to both sides, avoiding hitting Kendo or any trees. I wasn't about to let Sword Skill become common knowledge until after the Sports Festival. The only reason I revealed it to Toga was to emphasize my point, which I think is slowly starting to sink in… I think.

"My Quirk allows me to secrete nitroglycerin-like sweat from my palms and make it explode. I'm working on making bigger blasts and making the sweat of my whole forearms explode. I'm also aiming for UA."

Kendo smiled, her hands returning to normal. "You'll have your work cut out as a Hero with that kind of power. You're gonna be pretty strong at UA if you make it in."

I smiled back. "Well, your Quirk isn't liable to hurt people if you don't keep it under control. Explosion tends to act up when I'm angry as well, so I need to keep my emotions in check. Yours on the other hand, I can think of a lot of things giant hands would work for. I've got to hand it to you, your Quirk is a lot more controllable in a pinch."

Kendo gave a nervous smile. "I've heard those puns before."

I sighed. "I figured. I'm still working on my banter."

"Well, I was about to start training, want to join me?"

"Sure." We stretched to loosen up, and the giant hand user walked over to the pile of training weights.

"Have you used these before?" She asked as she held up a couple of them. I shook my head no. She rummaged through the pile before picking up a fifteen-pound set of arm and leg weights.

"These should do for someone who hasn't used any before. I'm up to 40 pounds, but I hope to get up to 70 by the time the entrance exams roll around." She pulled out a much heavier set and put them on as I put on my own set. Immediately I noticed the difference.

I tried walking, but I felt a lot more sluggish. Deku and I used a set of barbells to work on our arm strength, and we even tried punching while holding them for an additional exercise, but this was different. I walked around for a moment to get used to the feeling of them before turning to Kendo, who appeared to be struggling a bit as she walked over to the punching bag.

"All right, since you're here, this is going to be a bit different. I usually work on the exercises my dad laid out for me, but since you're here, I have a chance to test them out."

I cocked my head. "Your dad's a Hero?"

She shook her head. "No, he was a boxer back in the day. When I told him I wanted to be a Hero, he wanted to teach me his old tricks."

I nodded. It made sense. In hindsight, perhaps some formal training would have helped Deku and I, but when we get into UA, we'll develop our own unique fighting styles, so it won't make a whole lot of difference in the end.

"Do you have time to spar?"

I glanced down at my watch. "Ah, why not? I've got time. Let's see what you've got."

She smiled and nodded assuming a boxing position. "Whenever you're ready."

I assumed my own stance, reminiscent of Soresu, holding my arm in place of the lightsaber (form 3 for those of us who don't speak Star Wars). "Quirks or no Quirks?"

Kendo thought for a moment. "No Quirks. Not for now at least."

With that, I took initiative and rushed her, aiming a roundhouse kick at her head. The red-head blocked it and grabbed my leg, using it as leverage to flip me over backward.

Lucky for me though, Deku had tried this before. I went with the momentum, using my hands to steady myself as I landed in a crouch, skidding a meter away. I launched at her again, going for a left hook this time. She brought up her arm and blocked before replying with a fist thrown at my jaw. It grazed me as I leaned back to dodge before striking back with three quick left jabs and a right hook.

She parried the jabs and caught the hook. "You're doing pretty good. I'm guessing you've trained before."

I nodded. "Yeah, my best friend and I have sparred for quite a while. We've gotten the hang of fighting each other, so this is kinda refreshing."

Kendo nodded before throwing a haymaker at my solar plexus. "I see. No formal training?"

I did my best to block, but it still stung regardless. "No, not really. I figure our fighting styles will be formally trained up when we enter UA."

She nodded. "Fair point. Still, some martial arts training beforehand would have been helpful."

I caught the hook she threw. "Fair… hindsight's 20/20 I guess."

I threw a left hook, which Kendo caught and responded to with a hook of her own. I angled my head, letting the fist graze my ear before I retaliated by grabbing her arm and trying to flip her over.

"OOF!"

Her back hit the ground as I was successful, causing me to grin. The grin quickly vanished when she punched me in the knee. Oh, you laugh, but try getting hit in the knee by a girl who has enough strength to shatter steel and let me know how that winds out. I was bouncing around on one foot, muttering under my breath as I clutched my knee.

'Where's Todoroki when you need him to ice your leg?' My knee didn't break, but hot diggity did it hurt! My knee was reddening already.

Kendo quickly got to her feet. "Sorry! I forget to hold back sometimes. Are you okay?"

My teeth were grit in pain as I spoke, the pain evident on my face. "I'll be fine. It just hurts like a jerk right now."

I hopped for a few more seconds before Kendo put my arm over her shoulder, allowing me to lean on her. "Come on, we should probably get you home."

I nodded. There was no way I was exploring the rest of the forest now. "Alright, I'll direct you."

As we collectively hobbled towards my house, we chatted some more and got to know one another. It turns out she's lived in a neighbourhood adjacent to the forest, not far from mine and Deku's, for the last five years. We both liked fighting and had analytical semi-sarcastic minds, and did I mention a love of fighting? I mean, she doesn't like fighting quite as much as me, but she still does. By the time we reached the part of the forest, we were swapping funny stories and laughing.

"And then- hahaha, and then I told him "that wasn't corned beef", and Hozuki never tried to steal my lunch again."

Kendo laughed. "He did that, all because you defended your Quirkless friend? Talk about petty."

I nodded. "Yeah, he is. Luckily, he seems to have lost interest thanks to a note attached to a spring-loaded paint balloon that was prepared to launch from inside his locker the minute he opened it. I signed it 'The Grenade Gremlin', but I think he knew it was me."

The red-head looked at me quizzically. "How did you get into his locker to set that up?"

"I'm friends with the janitor. And Hozuki apparently kept harassing him, so he was happy to help."

"I see. You don't really strike me as a prankster."

"I get that a lot. Mostly, it's vengeful pranking or on my friend or family every now and again. Deku's still trying to figure out how I put one of his All Might figures in a batch of Jello when we were together the whole time."

Kendo snickered, picturing it. "I might have to ask you for your pranking services at some point. There's this boy who goes to my middle school that gets on my nerves sometimes."

Hmm… could it be Monoma? Possibly. Best not to pry. We were leaving the treeline and turning onto the sidewalk now.

Kendo glanced around. "This is your neighbourhood? I've walked around here before, though not that often. Which way?"

I smiled and spoke. "I'll keep an eye out for ya. It's that way."

We continued down that path, and I began to wonder. How many characters would I run into? I already met Kendo and Toga, who else would I meet prior to UA? With the timeline changing by increments at a time, a big change was bound to happen.

"Bakugo?"

I stopped my musing and glanced at Kendo. "Oh, sorry, I zoned out, what was that?"

She raised a brow. "What were you thinking about? You looked almost excited about something."

I brushed it off. "Ah, nothing, just anticipating what Mom has planned for supper."

Kendo smiled. "I getcha. Is she making your favourite?"

I shook my head. "No, but close to it. She's trying her hand at pizza, which should be interesting given her usual wheelhouse."

I then realized where we were. "Oh, this is my house here."

Kendo appraised it for a moment. "Nice place."

She continued up to the steps before I grasped the railing. "Thanks Kendo, hopefully next time we spar, you won't almost bust my knee."

She scratched the back of her head awkwardly. "Sorry about that."

At that point, the door opened to reveal Mom. "You're late, Katsuki… who's this?"

The subject of Mom's query spoke up. "Itsuka Kendo, ma'am. Your son and I had a spar in the woods that ended up going a little too far."

Mom looked at me, and I nodded. "I came across her training area when re-exploring the woods, and she saw me there a few seconds later."

She nodded, before turning her attention back to Kendo. "Thank you for bringing him home, he's still pretty weak. Want to come in?"

Kendo raised a brow at Mom's remark before she raised her hand in polite refusal. "I'd like to, but I need to get home. My mom's probably wondering where I am by now."

I nodded. "All right, but before you go, can I have your number? I'd like to spar with you again sometime."

The red-head brightened at the idea of a sparring partner. I'm guessing she doesn't find too many people willing to spar with her give her Quirk. "Sure thing. I'm always open for a spar."

Mom watched her go after we exchanged cell numbers, an odd smile on her face. I raised a brow. "What's with the weird smile?"

She waved her hand as if dismissing the question, walking down the steps to my level. "Ah nothing, just happy that you were able to find another friend. Izuku's all well and good, but you tend to limit your social circle. Having said that…"

She tried to grab me in a headlock, which I struggled against as best I could. "You lost to a girl?! You really are weak!"

I pushed back, my knee throbbing at me as I stood my ground. "Kendo's Quirk lets her enlarge her hands, and she's done a bunch of strength training to actually use them. You try getting punched in the knee by someone like that!"

"I don't care what her Quirk is, you should have been able to fight and win with a Quirk like yours!"

"We weren't using our Quirks, she was just that strong physically!"

"You think too much!"

"And you think too little before you speak!"

"Weakling!"

"Lunkhead!"

We struggled against each other for a few more seconds before Dad came out, a nervous look on his face. It was that late in the day already? Dang, time flies. "Okay, Mitsuki, please try not to be so rough. The boy does have an injured knee after all, I can see it from here."

Mom looked down at the big red bruise that was my knee, backing off. "He'll be fine. He just needs to walk it off."

I rolled my eyes. Why did Mom have to be so obsessed with strength? Is that why she married a pushover, so she could be the strong one? I have no idea. I mean, I like Dad, don't get me wrong, but he can be kind of a wuss at times. Not that I blame him given my destructive abilities, just an observation.

I limped up the stairs and towards the door, wanting to go inside and take it easy physically for the rest of the day when I felt Mom grab my shirt collar.

"Hold up. If you're planning to get into UA, you can't slack off on training. Wear some elbow and knee pads next time or you'll get hurt even worse. And if you do get hurt even worse, I'm going to kill you. Understand?"

Count on Mom to be straightforward. "Gotcha. Now if you'll excuse me, I've got some homework to try to finish early since it's not worth aggravating my injury to train physically."

She pushed me towards the door. "Fine. Get going, I'll call you down for supper."

I nodded, going inside and limping up to my room.

I had no idea where Kendo lived in canon, but I do know for certain that her and Bakugo's paths never crossed before UA. It was likely another butterfly effect from my existence in this timeline.

It was a similar case with Toga. She and I are friends now, as opposed to the canon timeline where Bakugo hung out with those delinquents from his class. If Toga and I remained friends, it's very possible that I could get her to be my eyes and ears inside the League, especially if I told her the truth about Stain, since she joined up at least partially because of him. Who knows, maybe I could get Dabi and Spinner through the truth about Stain as well. What could happen now that I was here? Would I meet any of the others of 1A, B, or the League? It was highly possible.

I would tell Deku about meeting Kendo when I called him later, like I did about meeting Toga. He wanted to go find Toga and help her when I told him, but I advised against it. Not only was she mentally unstable, but just because she hasn't attacked me in a long time (thanks to my voluntary bleeding), that doesn't mean she wouldn't attack Deku. Furthermore, she played a part in the future, but I didn't tell him that, only of her… questionable mental state. The green-haired boy had relented, promising to keep it a secret for the time being, but he would tell his mom if things got out of hand.

I sighed. Now, all that was left was to wait. I would have to wait until the day of the entrance exam to find out how Deku would handle it. All Might had to adjust the plan the first time around. I think that was because Deku had never actually trained in the original timeline, only did analysis. Maybe this time All Might wouldn't have to adjust it due to the small amount of muscle Deku had accumulated due to training with me, and that would make him a little bit stronger. Not enough to not break at full force mind you, but a little physically stronger.

I flopped onto my bed, staring up at the ceiling as I got lost in thought. Just how much more would the timeline change thanks to me?

Cut! That's a wrap! I dunno how well I wrote Toga or Kendo (I rewrote the encounter with her at least twice), but hopefully it was good enough. I figured meeting Kendo earlier would be a good choice, given that in canon we don't see much of Class 1-B until the Sports Festival. On a different note, the shipping poll, in alphabetical order is as follows:

Jiro: 7

Kendo:13

Yaoyorozu: 16

And I'm just removing Hagakure from the running because of the lack of votes. Last chance for voting on the poll is when I upload Chapter 6. As far as what happens next, I'm thinking one more chapter during Deku's training, then I'll get to the Entrance Exam. What do you guys think? Review or PM me your thoughts. See you all next time!
