Chapter 4: Reunion and Meteor Threat.
Back in the Fairy-Tale World as morning was slowly creeping up, the entire Ice Mountain was badly damaged with craters left behind everywhere as far as the eye could see. The only place not destroyed was the cave which Serena and the Guardians of Light were safely inside. Once they knew that the meteor shower was finally over, Dragon, with the help from Shrek, Manny and Cloud, removed the blockage easily which allowed the Sailor Team, The Dark Moon Team, Team Pokepals, the Wayfinder Team, the Black Pearl crew, and everyone else with them to emerge.
As the heroes slowly walked up to the hill while horrified by the devastation left left in the wake of the meteorites, the sight before them below the hill was even worse. Everyone was demolished, holes within mountains close-by, it was going to take a serious need of magic to fix up this mess. Plus everyone was now worried about the damage Duloc might have suffered as well.
"Ri-Ri?" Ri-Ri blinked, shocked to see such damage in her young life, as the former Star Seed of Galaxia thought of this as bad as the Keyblade Graveyard two years ago before she returned being with the Sailor Soldier of the Sun.
"Oh dear..." Minnie softly gasped, covering her mouth with her hands, as Mickey held her close to him in every effort to comfort her.
"Oh my..." Didi whispered, shocked.
"This is awful." Goofy murmured in disbelief.
Betty winced as she whistled. "Well...this will take a while to fix up."
No one argued with her on that, yet it still left the question on how all of this unfolded without them even realizing it. Was this some sort of work of a new enemy threatening to destroy them?
Before anyone could respond or say anything further, suddenly there was a whooshing sound coming from behind which alarmed the Guardians and their friends and families as they turned around to see some sort of green light glow within another large hole of a newly made cave, and dust of snow flying out with sounds of a thump or two. The group shared uneasy glances as they wondered what was going on now, they nervously headed towards it with the Guardians having their families and friends who couldn't fight behind them.
"Uh...Hello?" Manny peered into the hole, nervously.
At first the only noise was his voice echoing, but then within a large pile of snow, something began to emerge from it, scaring the Mammoth who yelped and jumped back while everyone else quickly stood their guard as seven more lumps began to grow and they all began to back away fearing it was a monster or evil aliens.
"Am I dreaming or is this real?" Stu asked nervously.
"I'd say this is a dream but I'd be lying." Drew replied to his younger brother.
The group didn't need to fear, however, as suddenly Meowth, after the unexpected ride from the portal from Midgar, popped his head out gasping and coughed as snow got into his mouth before groaning, with Jessie and James emerging a few seconds later in the similar position, all three of them completely exhausted.
"Well, it ain't a fun ride, but at least we had a nice, soft landin'." Meowth remarked, trying to be optimistic over their situation.
He and his human best friends then realized that, given how cold the soft pile was, they were in snow and instantly shivered before hugging each other, freezing.
"S-soft, anyway..." Jessie shivered.
"But not exactly w-warm!" James shivered, before sneezing. "Achoo!"
The Guardians of Light were all completely shocked to see three familiar faces, a trio whom they haven't seen in months and never thought they would see again.
"Team Rocket!?" The Sailor Team excluding Shira who blinked in confusion along with Jason, Lyla, Ri-Ri and Chirithy, all exclaimed in disbelief and growing relief. The Dark Moon Team were also shocked to see the trio as well along with Ven, Aqua, the Sailor Team's relatives, and the Pirates as Jack and Gibbs shared shocked glances.
Hearing the chorus of familiar voices, Jessie, James and Meowth looked up to see, to their own shock, amazement and relief, the heroes they half-thought were dead, exclaiming to their former enemies. "Sailor Twerps!?"
Immediately forgetting the cold, the clumsy trio quickly came out of the snow and raced over to Serena and hugged her which startled the Moon Princess who was very relieved to see them alive, having thought that Xehanort had killed them like he had killed Galaxia and made her and Sora believe he had killed Darien and Kairi.
"Oh, thank goodness you're okay!" Jessie babbled with happy tears.
"You made it and beaten Xehanort and Chaos and come out alive!" Meowth sobbed pathetically.
"You and the other Twerps are safe and sound! I'm so happy!" James wailed in happiness, before he and his two friends bawled their eyes out with waterworks flying out.
Serena and her friends and family could only sweat drop before sharing awkward glances but remained silent, growing relief forming in their hearts as they all shared the same thought; some things never change. By then, five more lumps emerged, revealing the slightly disoriented Rufus and the four original Turks as they too recovered, which, as the Guardians and everyone else looked up to see, the Sailor Team and those who knew these five other people were once again stunned in disbelief for the fourth time today.
"Tseng?" Serena blinked.
"Elena?" Ash stared blankly.
"Reno?" Mickey gaped in disbelief.
"Rude?" Sakura couldn't believe what she was seeing.
"Rufus Shinra?" Cloud muttered, gaping in shock.
Hearing five familiar voices speak their names, the President and the Turks looked up and they too gaped in shock and disbelief, upon seeing so many familiar faces as well as non-familiar faces, who were no doubt also members of the Sailor Team. What caught them off-guard were non-human members other than the Pokemon; animals, Ogres, other creatures they never seen before, a Dragon and...mutant dragon-donkey babies? None the less, as they were with Serena's group, no doubt they were friends.
"Hey, it's been ages! Good to see you guys still among the livin'." Reno greeted the Sailor Team and Cloud's group happily after he, Rude, Tseng and Elena emerged and helped the President out of the pile, all approaching the group.
"Uh, yeah...?" Serena said, dumbfounded, before gazing down at Team Rocket who were still crying their eyes out. "And can you guys stop crying, please? I'm really happy that you're okay but this is getting a bit too much."
Team Rocket complied with her request and stood up, still sniffling in relief.
Mairin, just as shocked, noticed something just as shocking as she stared at Reno, then gaped with her eyes wide and looked at Lea, before glancing back and forth between the two red-heads, exclaiming. "Whoa, no way! That guy looks just like Lea!"
Everyone else who heard this saw what she was talking about and they were just as shocked to see how identical Reno and Lea looked, almost speechless, while the two redheads, recognizing each other felt uncomfortable almost immediately, given their history back when Lea had been Axel years ago and a certain mission which involved him fighting the Turk.
"You're right! Just like Ven and Roxas." Tiffenie realized, stunned.
"How cool is that?" Luna blinked.
"Oh, right. I forgot that Jess', James and Meowth mentioned that Axel was his real-self's Nobody or whatever and joined the good guys." Reno sighed, turning to his look-alike and reluctantly waved. "Didn't expect to see you again, though."
"Same here." Lea shrugged, uneasily. "Look, I know we didn't get on so great when I was a Nobody and, I just wanna say...sorry 'bout what happened almost five years ago, but me and Isa-who used to be Saix, by the way-pretty much ditched the Organization, so now we're on the good guy side." He then tapped the side of his head. "Got it memorized?"
Roxas, realizing and remembering the stories he was told, shrugged. "Oh yeah. I forgot that you met the Turks a long time ago."
While everyone else were a bit puzzled over this, Rufus gazed at the leader of the Sailor Team and greeted calmly. "Well, it's a pleasure to see you and all of your friends again, Miss Moon. As well as a pleasure to meet the rest of your newest additions. You never fail in making friends, do you?"
"Uh, well, er...Nice to see you again too, Rufus." Serena replied awkwardly, rubbing the back of her head, as while it had been almost two years since she'd seen the President, due to time travel and time-difference, it was around maybe 8,000 years or a bit less. "Not the way I would've thought, though. But I'm really surprised that Team Rocket made it to Midgar and you hired them to be real Turks after what happened."
As she said this, she had noticed that Team Rocket no longer wore their old uniforms and once again donned their Turk outfits since returning from the past just before she and her friends went to Medge.
"Yeah, Reno found us after that dingy portal that Grandpa Xehanort made ate us before takin' us to the Midgar Ruins." Meowth explained with a shrug.
"That explains a lot." Cloud said, not all that surprised given Team Rocket's relationship with Rufus and the Turks.
"Hey, Team Rocket!" Diego greeted in relief and a smirk, getting the trio's attention. "Welcome back, losers."
"Wait, you mean those three blubbering clowns are the former members of the Pokemon-Stealing Squad?" Shira asked in bewilderment, gazing at her mate, as the trio weren't half as what she had expected.
"That's no way to say to the Tu-" Jessie began at the female saber before cutting herself off as she realized she didn't know Shira, or even Xion and the other new members of the team, and that, adding to the shock, Kairi and Darien are alive. "Hey, wait a second. Who are you, and who are the black-haired twerp that looks like Kairi-who with Darien is back from the dead-the cute little girl that looks like the Sailor Twerp, the two other twerps and the little cat behind Ven?"
"They're Xion, Shira, and Ri-Ri, and these two are Jason and Lyla." Rini introduced.
"Jason and Lyla know Sceptile, Terra, Ven and Aqua, Shira's a new member of the Sailor Team and Xion's a member of the Dark Moon Team with Isa, who's the Somebody of Saix." Lusie explained.
"He even helped to restore Roxas and Xion and even Namine." Ash explained. "That's how Roxas got his new body in the first place."
"Seriously?" Reno asked as Rude blinked behind his sunglasses.
"I wanted to atone for what I did as Saix, but as I was one of Xehanort's chosen, I couldn't do it. So I secretly had Vexen and Demyx to do so since they were benched." Isa explained, a little uncomfortably but kept his cool.
"We met Shira three months ago. She was once a crew member of an evil group of animal pirates lead by Captain Gutt and Rumpelstiltskin, but she changed sides and helped us out." Sakura explained.
While the Turks and Rufus were surprised at how much the Sailor Team had gone through including the survival of Sailor Moon, Team Rocket couldn't help but notice how close Diego was to Shira and then realized that they a couple and couldn't help but tease the sabers. Though Elena looked a bit wiriy with Dragon and Reno, also noticing the giant reptile, looked about ready to pass out in fear and seeing the fearsome and suspicious glare, instantly decided to watch what he would say around her.
Since when did the Sailor Team became friends with a dragon, for crying out loud?
"Well, well, well. I never thought the Tiger-Twerp to really go even more soft into finding himself a girlfriend. " James remarked with a teasing smirk.
"You mean-Awwww!" Jessie cooed.
"They're lovebirds!" Meowth teased, snickering.
That didn't amuse the two sabers as Diego growled. "Careful, she claws and bites extremely hard."
"And I happen to be fast, too." Shira added threateningly, which frightened the trio who held each other, whimpering. She then muttered to her husband skeptically. "I can see why you call them losers."
Tseng, being calm and deciding that introductions would have to wait, noticed the damage of the valley, no doubt from parts of the asteroid threatening the Realm of Light. "It seems we have a lot to talk about. But I'm afraid that will have to wait."
"Indeed." Rufus agreed, also noticing the devastation. "It's clear that you already know of the imdepenting doom considering what has happened here."
"What are you talking about?" Shrek asked, shrugging.
"You mean you haven't even gotten the idea that we're about to all die?" Reno asked, skeptically as he gestured around the huge mess which, hopefully after the Asteroid is destroyed somehow, it would take ages to clean up.
"We're not gonna die. It was just a meteor shower and the show's over." Manny told them, not realizing the direness of the situation.
"I wish you were right." Elena sighed in disagreement.
"Yeah, it's too bad Reeve knows otherwise. If that wasn't the case then we wouldn't be here in the first place." The red-haired Turk shook his head, commenting about the human, Ogre and Dronkey children and smiled a little. "Cute kids, by the way."
While Tommy, Dil, Angelica, a very nervous Chuckie, Kimi, Phil, Lil, Susie, Ri-Ri, Farkle, Fergus, Felica, and the Dronkeys eyed the five new adults nervously, with most of the parents being wiry of them as well despite being allies to the Sailor Team even though they had been enemies in the past, the pirates were just as suspicious as by the look of Rufus, he reminded the Black Pearl crew of Lord Beckett.
"How the blazes did you all come here to this world?" Barbossa questioned.
"I was just about to ask that. Especially to the President who, unfortunately, reminds me of Lord Beckett." Jack added.
"Jack...!" Raye grunted with a warning, not that she and the others could blame the pirates, but still...
"Yeah. We didn't know Team Rocket were in Midgar. Did it have something to do with that weird green light we saw briefly?" Sora asked, folding his arms curiously.
Before Rufus and the Turks could confirm or explain, which given they were no doubt in the Fairy Tale world which meant that they weren't as stranded as they originally thought, suddenly there was a loud roaring noise coming from nearby, causing everyone to gaze at another giant hole created by one of the meteorites, with pink-purple light and steaming coming out of it. Once again nervous and hoping it wasn't an enemy, the group shared glances.
"What was that?" Chuckie asked, scaredly.
"I don't know. Maybe it was an animal that got stucked there." Lil guessed, cluelessly.
"Or maybe it was somebody that got lost." Kimi suggested, worriedly.
"Or maybe it's a big alien that'll eat us and..." Phil began somewhat evilly and excitement, only for his sister, Tommy, Chuckie, Kimi, Dil, Angelica, Susie, Rini, Lusie, Future-Piplup, Chimchar, Pikachu, Piplup, Chespie, Serena and the rest of the Sailor Team who can still understand baby language to gaze at him with skeptical and disturbed looks like he's gone crazy.
Pausing, he shrugged sheepishly. "Well, it could be."
"Sometimes Phil, you scare me." Rini whispered in exasperation with a sweat drop.
"Me too." Future-Piplup whispered in agreement.
Deciding to forget about what the four year old child said, Mickey volunteered as he gazed at the hole firmly despite being scared of what was in there. "I'll take a look."
"Careful, Mickey." Sakura murmured worriedly.
"Don't worry. I'll be okay." The King promised, mentally groaning nervously, before he approached the hole with his friends and wife cautiously following. Once he was close enough, he peered over the edge, calling out to whoever or whatever was down there. "Um...Hello?"
At first nothing happened...then a giant monstrous shadow appeared that looked lanky with long claws. Mickey screamed in fright before jumping back to the rest of the group who slowly backed away, nervously as the shadow was climbing up and getting closer. It looked about the size of a giant dinosaur, making deep, low, monstrous growls that some of them thought it was hungry. Acting quickly, Mickey, Serena, Ash, Sakura, Sora, Riku, Kairi, Terra, Ven, Aqua, Rena, Roxas, Xion, Lea, and Alain summoned their Keyblades while Donald and Goofy summoned their staff and shield, and Reno brought out his EMR. Everyone else was stood ready and/or were terrified.
"AAAAAHHHH!" Donkey screamed as he leaped into Shrek's arms, petrified.
"AAAAHHHH!" Sid screamed girlishly, clinging onto Diego's neck in fear.
"What is that thing?" Madison asked, fearfully.
"Is it a Heartless?" Xion asked.
"Or something else?" Ash added, trying to calm his nerves since he and the others had fought a lot of giant monsters before in the recent months.
Rena, though, began to think of a horrible thought as she said nervously. "Wait. What if it's a monster that spills blood on life and kills them by contact or sets them on fire?"
That made Ash, Pikachu, Sora, Roxas, Brock, Lea, Hayner, Pence and Serena shiver in complete fear, their skins crawling with chills running through their spines.
"Oh!" The light-brown-blonde haired girl yelped, covering her mouth with one hand. "Me and my big mouth!"
"Wait!" Aqua cried out, having attempted to sense the threat but found to her surprise that there was no evil coming towards them. "I don't sense darkness from that shadow. I feel light instead."
Raye, also attempting to sense an evil soul or a trace of darkness, nodded in agreement as she too sensed the opposite. "You're right. It's not a monster at all."
"Huh?" Everyone else gazed at the two in confusion, before nervously gazing back at the hole. If it wasn't a monster, then what was it?
The answer they got was that they were just overreacting, because the figure finally revealed himself to be none other than Buck who, after collecting the stone pillar, had climbed his way up to the surface as he knew that he had to return to the place of his origins to solve the mystery of what he found. It had been difficult even with his knife, but he had been determined. With a final grunt, he made it to the nearly made edge of the new entrance made by one of the meteorites.
'Finally!' The Weasel thought to himself, before sensing that he wasn't alone. Looking up, he saw, much to his surprise, was his friends whom he hasn't seen in a while and perked up, relaxing while greeting happily. "Oh! Hello, Sailor Team."
"Buck!?" Serena, Shrek, Manny, Donkey, Rini, Sakura, Puss, Ellie, Diego, Future-Piplup, Chimchar, and Grovyle all exclaimed in surprised unison, stunned to see the familiar one-eyed weasel who was their friend and honorary member of the Sailor Team, while Serena, Sakura, and the rest of the Keyblade Wielders and Donald and Goofy dismissed their weapons, and everyone else were surprised and confused.
"It's Buck!" Dawn exclaimed happily.
"Pika!" Pikachu cheered happily.
"Piplup, Pip!" Piplup cheered, happy to see the weasel again after so long.
"It's great to see you!" Sakura greeted cheerfully as she and Rini were so happy to see the dinosaur hunter again.
"Alright!" Future-Piplup and Chimchar celebrated.
Crash and Eddie, just as happy to see their idol and older-brother figure again, slid down from Ellie's tusks as the latter Possum greeted with a happy wave. "Hi, Buck!"
Buck, who had climbed out and tried to pull the stone up, grunted before waving back cheerfully. "Hi!"
He was then pulled right back down into the hole and screamed.
"Goodbye, Buck!" Crash stupidly waved.
"Who is he?" Elena asked, blinking dumbfounded.
Reno, raising an eyebrow, turned to the Sailor Team and asked about the one-eyed pirate looking mammal. "You guys are friends with that weasel?"
"His name's Buck and he helped us out almost two years ago to rescue Sid. It's a long story." Serena explained briefly.
Just then, Buck threw a rope which was looped around his knife, which was still stabbed into the icy ground, calling out a little sheepishly. "Um, a little help?"
Not knowing what Buck has gotten himself into this time, Shrek and Manny both approached before pulling hard at the rope, feeling something surprisingly heavy down below. What did that weasel being with him? With a hard pull, the two yanked both the Weasel who screamed, and a large stone pillar which was sent flying before landing perfectly the right way up on the more solid ground. Buck on the other hand...hit the top of it face-first and held a comical dazed look before falling over and landed on the ground hard, causing everyone else to wince sympathetically.
"Oooh...Right on the spleen!" Buck groaned in pain, his lanky body somehow becoming so twisted that his spine was being slightly poking through his skin and fur. He looked at it and touched it gently, wincing. "Utterly useless, but totally hurts."
"Ouch...that does look painful. And I thought some of my worst injuries were bad." Reno winced, feeling sorry for the weasel.
"Aww, poor fella." Mickey approached Buck with strong sympathy. "Is there anythin' we can do to help?"
"No, no. I'm fine, but thank you." Buck kindly declined, already putting his spleen back into shape, before noticing the mouse king and gaped in pleasant surprise. "Blimey! You're a big mouse."
"Well, I do have the ears to prove it." The King laughed jokingly, before introducing himself. "I'm Mickey."
"Pleasure to meet you, Mickey." The Weasel replied, sensing no ill from the new guys, especially this very friendly and cheerful mouse wearing human clothes.
"Hey, Buck!" Ash called up happily, getting the duo's attention. "Welcome back, buddy."
"Pika pika!" Pikachu waved.
Rena, having heard stories about Buck the Dino-Hunter, asked in surprise. "Wait, you mean he's the cool adventurer who knows all about the Dinosaurs?"
Buck, already back into shape, skitted over to her, Ash, Pikachu, and even to Lea, Roxas, Xion, Isa, Hayner, Pence and Olette, adding proudly while taking hold of the young girl's hand. "And expert salsa dancer."
He then did a salsa dance in a crazy way which confused the others while Ash and Pikachu smiled knowingly, glad to see that he hasn't changed...well, changed from his insane self, anyway.
"Whoo!" He cheered after he stopped.
"This guy's got the moves, at least." Lea remarked, liking his dancing style.
"I'll say." Hayner nodded in agreement.
Pence, feeling excited to meet an actual expert on dinosaurs, said. "I gotta learn more about him."
Olette approached the weasel and asked curiously. "So you're really the one who found real life dinosaurs?"
"Precisely, young lady! I have one eye, but all my original teeth. Would you like to count them?" Buck then opened up his mouth, which creeped out the group who leaned back and kindly declined.
Thankfully, the crazy weasel then noticed Peaches and the other youngsters, then went up to her and said, stunned at how much she has grown already despite still growing. "And this must be... Nectarine?"
"Um, Peaches." Peaches replied cutely, not remembering Buck due to having seen him just shortly after she was born almost two years ago.
"Pleasure to meet you. You've grown since the day you were born and as beautiful as ever." Buck replied, feeling like a proud uncle before he noticed Sora and Kairi and over to them, saying. "And you must be..."
Sora grinned as he placed his hands behind his head. "I'm Sora."
"My name's Kairi. It's nice to meet you, Buck." Kairi added.
"Semantics my dear. I am deeply honored." The dino-hunter replied, kissing the girl's hand which made her giggle. He then noticed Rini and saw she was getting taller, and went up to the pink-haired girl. "And Rini! You've grown since the last time we met."
"I still got a lot of growing up to do, but thank you, Buck." Rini pointed out, though there was a time when they did meet up not that long ago, but she decided to worry about that later. She was just happy to see him again.
"Don't worry, young lass." Buck reassured. "You'll be a marvelous young woman before you know it."
"I've heard so much about you, Buck." Max spoke up, getting the weasel's attention, as the ten year old boy added excitedly. "Rini and the others said that you're the coolest dinosaur expert in history and how you rode a flying Dinosaur at your first try was awesome!"
"Oh, thank you!" Buck replied, smiling as he turned back to Rini and said to her. "I like this kid."
"Hey, Buck." Serena spoke up, causing the others to gaze at her and the rest of the group. "What're you doing here?"
"Well I-" Buck began before his mind went into insane mode again, believing he was hearing voices...coming from a tree stump. "What?"
Another pause.
"I'm trying!" He yelled at it, before going over to it and asked while gesturing at his friends and their allies. "But how do you tell someone they're doomed?" After another pause, he turned to the heroes and shrugged. "He's stumped."
Buck then laughed.
"We're not doomed, Buck." Shrek shook his head in slight exasperation, before explaining while gesturing at Rufus, Team Rocket and the Turks. "Like Manny told these guys, it was just a meteor shower and the show's over."
"I wish you and the big, furry guy were right." Reno whispered, causing Elena to scold him in a whisper.
"Oh, quite the contrary, old chap. It's just the beginning. You see, I found a prophecy." Buck said mysteriously after leaping onto the Ogre's shoulder, gesturing at the stone pillar and to add to the effects, Crash and Eddie were hitting two logs like drums.
Quickly getting irritated, Shrek just snatched the sticks away from the two Possums and grumbled. "Do you mind?" He then walked over to the stone, leaving the annoyed and disappointed brothers to grumble.
"Boy, he really sucks the fun out of everything. Doesn't he?" Crash remarked, shaking his head.
"FUN SUCKER!" Eddie yelled angrily at the ogre.
Everyone else, ignoring the annoyed twin Possums, followed Shrek and Buck before stopping as Tseng questioned, recognizing the stone as some sort of ancient stone pole with hieroglyphics. "Where did you get that?"
"I found it in the most mysterious cave even I've never seen before. It had these funny looking contraptions that brought this from within the ground." Buck explained, which surprised the group.
"A temple?" Grovyle asked, surprised. Who would have thought that there was a temple within the Dinosaur cavern.
"Right underneath us?" Puss asked, not having expected to hear that.
"Whoa, I didn't know the Dino-Cavern had a Temple of all places." Ash gaped in shock and awe.
"Neither did I, until maybe a couple hours ago." Buck shrugged in return.
"I guess everything you guys said really is true." Cloud said to the Sailor Team members who went underground in this world.
Reno, still trying to understand the whole thing, gaped at the group in shock. "Wait a sec. Are we talkin' about actual livin' and breathin' dinosaurs?"
"I really thought they were extinct. This is really interesting." Aqua remarked thoughtfully. The rest of the group thought along the same lines.
"Well, as much as I like to explore new places, I think the Dino-Cave underneath us is an exception. 'Cause I really don't wanna get eaten by a T-Rex, thanks." Lea placed his hands behind his head, just wanting to get this over with and figure out what the problem was and how to stop it this time.
"So what does the Tablet say, Buck?" Sakura asked, curiously yet feeling like she didn't want to know at the same time.
"Good question. I've read it front to back, and the story it tells is very disturbing." Buck explained and like the first time when he explained about the dinosaur world to his friends, his mind went into a world where he was in a moving stone picture world.
"Every hundred million years or so, the Realm of Light's one world or a couple of worlds get a cosmic cleansing, starting with Earth. Before the Dinosaurs, there was these horse-shoe crab looking thingys. Ugh, yuck! Then, at the bottom of the mountain range, an asteroid hit. Boom! Bye-bye! Next, dinosaurs, mountain-range, asteroid. Boom! Bye-bye! And this one was actually the true cause of the creations of the two other worlds; Earth was reformed and reborn, this world which is now called the Fairytale World, and another world filled with only Pokemon appear. Then, change of a mountain range. An original world, with a Heart-shaped Moon within it, another asteroid, with an alien monster, not much of a boom, but it still spread a virus to special kinds of species. Whoosh! Bye-bye! But, two asteroids were actually stopped; first, one of a tiny dark rock, and a hybrid, all prevented by saviors of past, present and future, and great white magic. Whoosh! Ta-ta! Next, Sky Tower where the Legendary Pokemon Raquayza resides, and just foretold and recently, stopped this asteroid with a Hyper Beam attack. Whoosh! Ta-ta! But, coming up next, Saviors of the Realm, Mountain-Range in this world, Asteroid, and without a power of light. Boom!...Bye-bye..." He explained and waved sadly as he finished his monologue while mentally returning to reality.
"Ha-ha! Stupid saviors." Eddie scoffed as he and Crash went up to it.
"That's us." Crash pointed out, as they and the rest of the group around here are the Saviors of the Realm of Light. Hearing this made his brother scream in panic.
"Whoa..." Reno remarked, admittedly impressed with the way how Buck told the whole thing perfectly as well as basically at the same time for everybody to understand. If it had been Rude or Tseng, it would take forever to understand. "Even though I didn't get half of what he said, he just explained everything we were gonna tell ya guys."
"You mean what Reeve just found out?" Tifa asked, shocked.
"My guess is that Team Rocket told them everything right up until just before Serena, Sakura, Ash and Sora defeated Xehanort and Serena defeated Bhunivelze and Chaos in his heart as Sailor Cosmos." Misty guessed.
"Sailor Cosmos?" Elena asked at the name. Sailor Moon had changed into Sailor Cosmos?
"Yeah, that was my powerful form because of the power of Cosmos within my heart. Ash came up with the name when I did that, but sadly, I can't do that again. I can't even transform into Eternal Sailor Moon anymore either. So I got a replacement from the Realm of Sleep until I regain it one day." Serena explained, while holding out her newly transformed Ultra-Dream Locket.
"So how come you lost it in the first place?" Meowth asked, confused.
"She, Sora, Ash and Sakura had to give up parts of their powers in order to rescue Darien and Kairi, since they had been trapped in the Realm of Nightmares by Xehanort while he created convincing replicas to make us believe he destroyed them. Cosmos actually saved them but could only bring them into the Final World. I lost my Eternal Form due to Xemnas, so I have a new Platinum Form until like Serena, I regain my Eternal Form one day too." Kaylie explained, before asking Team Rocket. "But besides the point, how did Reeve know about this world?"
Once again, Team Rocket sweat dropped sheepishly.
"Well, you see..." Jessie began, awkwardly.
"We were working on a way to come back here for a visit and so far Reeve could only make a scanner that's similar to all that Nasa stuff on Earth but nobody's been able to fly out from Midgar." James shrugged.
"Kinda like the Gummiphones, only without makin' the phonecalls and cameras and stuff." Meowth sheepishly added.
"And I'm going to guess that your gummiphones are broken after Xehanort sent you to Midgar? No wonder we haven't heard from you guys." May folded her arms.
"Hey, wait a second." Mairin spoke up, before turning her gaze to Serena, Mickey, Cloud, Tifa, Yuffie, Aerith, Vincent, Cid, Ash, Pikachu, Dawn, Piplup, Brock, and Team Pokepals. "Didn't you guys stop Sephiroth and the Black Magic Meteor 8,000 years ago and ask Raquayza to stop the Meteor from crashing into the Pokemon World almost three years ago?"
The group flinched before realizing that they had unknowingly fufilled the prophecey and looked away awkwardly with sweat drops.
"So...how did you guys get here?" Simon asked, trying to avoid the awkard situation getting more weird.
"We found this weird portal in the old ShinRa building and thought that maybe it was portal that leads to another world. I kinda got too close and when the Boss and my pals tried to save me..." Meowth explained.
"We all pretty much got sucked right into it, 'cause the next thing we know, poof! We're here." Reno concluded.
"Well, this world is full of magic and other things, so, welcome to the Fairytale World!" Donkey announced and welcomed, making almost everyone else sigh in exasperation.
Buck in the meantime, was thinking deeply until he noticed a huge star-like object in the sky and knew instantly what it was, pointing upward. "Yep, and there she is. The mother of all Asteroids, screaming towards us. Even going underground or to another world won't save us this time."
Everyone looked and saw that he was right, with Donald proclaiming. "Hey, that wasn't there before."
"Gawrsh, look how it's lightnin' up the sky." Goofy remarked worriedly.
"Just like 8,000 years ago." Mickey said firmly, memories of the Black Magic Meteor forming in his mind. "Only this time nobody even summoned it and Sephiroth's gone."
"Yet, despite it, as Buck says, it is capable of destroying the entire Realm of Light as Reeve feared." Tseng murmured.
"And that's why you guys came here to try and warn us, right?" Serena asked, worriedly. How could she and her friends not have sensed this or even know of the upcoming danger?
"Actually, the original plan was to have Jessie, James and Meowth to return to this world as they are more experienced in traversing across worlds. But, well, that didn't go quite as planned." Rufus admitted, keeping his usual calm domeaner regardless of how embarrassed he felt.
The Moon Princess folded her arms as she knew what it was like. "Yeah, travelling to different worlds the first time's never easy. But you get used to it after awhile. Though I'm not sure how even I can stop that giant falling rock this time."
Without her Eternal Form or the power of Cosmos, Serena had her doubts on stopping something as big as an Asteroid that out-beaten the previous meteors in the past.
"No worries!" Buck reassured confidently. "Because I've got a plan."
"Really? To stop a Realm-Killing Asteroid?" Shrek asked half-sarcastically.
Buck then went back to the tablet and explained as he pointed at the pictures. "Look, the first two asteroids have pummeled on Earth in the same mountain spots, and it's about to happen again this time after the last two were prevented and because of that, this asteroid has the power to destroy all worlds no matter which world it goes to. We've got to go there and see what's attracting the asteroid."
He pointed at the mountain in the fair distance as he explained, while continuing. "Once we know why it's coming, we can figure out how to get rid of it without sending it somewhere else."
"That plan is so dumb I wish it had a face so I can smack it!" Granny complained, finding this idea the stupidest thing she's ever heard.
"Let me get this straight; Instead of running away from a deadly asteroid... you want us to run directly towards it." Manny shook his head with his trunk on his forehead and gazed at the crazy weasel over this suicidal plan.
"I know it sounds suboptimal." Buck responded, before adding casually. "But the good news is, it'll kill us no matter where we went!"
"Well, that's reassuring." Betty said sarcastically.
"He does have a point." Sora pointed out, worriedly.
"Okay, say we do go to the crash site, how do you expect us to stop it when it's already been written?" Cloud asked as the future events seem to be set directly towards them.
Buck however, not willing to let it all end, told him. "Ah, my spiky-haired friend, the dinos were wiped off the face of the Earth, but some escaped. And as you, Sailor Moon, Ash and the others were the ones to stop the last two asteroids, it's proof that even propechies can be prevented."
He then climbed up top of the stone and declared with determination. "The fate of the Realm has been changed three times, we can do it again! Who's with me!?"
The group stared at Buck for a moment before forming a circle to have a private conversation on whether they should follow his plan or not.
"Well...Whadd'you fellas think?" Mickey asked.
"Honestly, I'm worried that the weasel is right." Fiona said, feeling that this was their only chance and given the destruction, that was just the start of the nightmare that was heading straight towards them.
"Aye, and it took Sailor Moon, Sora, Ash and Sakura to change the future to save the Realm of Light." Gibbs said grimly.
Lea groaned, placing his hand to his forehead. "Please don't remind me. I still sometimes get nightmares from that Lich thing in the Nightmare Realm."
"I still get nightmares from those Heartless Tornado things." Jake shuddered.
"Well, Buck hasn't been wrong yet. Even if he is crazy." Sakura shrugged.
As if to prove her point, Buck, suddenly dressed up in a leaf hat, protested in a girly high-pitched voice. "No, don't listen to the weasel. He's a raving loon!"
Everyone just stared at him severally with bewildered and dumbfounded looks.
Laughing, he apologetically said in his normal voice. "Sorry, I just love playing devil's advocate. And looking fabulous!" He then began struttling away like a lady, leaving the heroes and their friends and families to continue the conversation.
"Well, he saved us before, right?" Diego remembered.
"But what if he can't this time?" Shira asked, worriedly.
"Well, we gotta at least try!" Sora protested, not willing to give up. "We didn't go through all the trouble in stopping Bhunivelze, Chaos and Xehanort from destroying the Realm of Light just so some stupid rock on fire could go and end everything!"
"Sora's right. It took all of us to stop Kingdom Hearts, it'll take us to stop the Asteroid. I say we give it a shot!" Ven agreed, narrowing his eyes.
"I say we go with Buck's plan too!" Ash agreed with strong determination. "Not sure how we can do this, but we always manage to figure things out all the time even when things looked hopeless."
"Yeah, but, what if the power of Cosmos was the only way to stop it?" Serena said, worriedly as she began to fear that things were completely lost, lowering her gaze slightly with her heart sinking. "I had to use it against Bhunivelze and Chaos in Xehanort's Heart, not to mention that using the Power of Waking too much combined with that drained away much of my strength. I mean, sure I can still use the Power of Waking if I'm careful, but who's to say that the other power is also what needs to get rid of the Asteriod?"
"Well, I'm no expert on any of this, but maybe it'll be a different kind of power of light to stop a giant rock. Or maybe something else entirely." Shrek suggested, though he did agree with Serena's argument.
"What else? Another Asteroid?" Jack asked sarcastically, before pointing out. "It took whim and wits to stop other near disasters, mate."
"Well, what else do you think we should do?" Cloud asked in equal sarcasm to the Pirate.
"Yeah, well, it took Aerith, the Holy Magic and even the Lifestream to stop Sephiroth's Fiery Rock. It's too bad we can't use that option again." Reno reminded with a sigh.
"The White Materia was lost when the Bahamut-KING was destroyed, so we can't use that." Aerith added in concern.
"Well, what else can we do?" Yuffie asked impatiently. "I don't wanna go through this again!"
"Well, we won't know 'til we look." Goofy said as it was the logical answer.
"I don't think we have much a choice." Kairi shook her head sadly. "If we don't leave now, everything we fought for will all be gone before we know it."
Everyone was silent for a moment, before Megan, sensing Serena's reluctance and worry, told her reassuringly and comfortingly. "Serena, we know that you're still worried, but maybe you still have enough power with your heart and the Silver Crystal to set things right."
Emily nodded in agreement. "Who knows? Maybe it'll take all of our powers to stop it, like how we helped in restoring the Magical Core."
Despite that it had been a struggle three months ago, Serena realized that the split of the Magical Core did almost destroy the Realm of Light as well and that had been nearly catastrophic, especially with worlds nearly merging and creating uncontrolled pathways until she used the Crystal and the power of love and friendship to return everything back to normal.
Finally after a moment of silence, she nodded and decided that this was their best shot. "Good point."
With everyone else's hesitant nods of agreement, they all turned back to Buck who was taking out the stone tablets from the stone pillar.
"Um..." Serena cleared her throat, getting her friend's attention. "Guess we're ready when you are."
"Crash and Eddie reporting for duty!" Crash and Eddie both readily saluted.
Eddie then laughed as he realized the word sounded like something else and said to Crash. "Doody." This prompted them to laugh hysterically.
"Excellent, and dirty word processed." Buck smirked as he placed the last tablet into the newly made sack which he strapped around his body while declaring to the heroes. "Now, we better get on the road because time till impact is roughly two days, seven hours, one minute and sixteen seconds. Fifteen seconds, fourteen seconds, thir-"
Sakura, feeling embarrassed, awkwardly and apologetically interrupted. "Uh, Buck? I think we get it."
"I think we're all gonna get it." Shrek dryly remarked, knowing that this was yet another weird adventure with Buck the Weasel. 'Here we go again...'
"This will be an interesting journey." Rufus remarked, smirking a little.
That surprised everyone else as Serena asked. "You're coming too?"
"I may be President, but I also would like to help in any way I can. Besides, I am nothing like my father." The President replied.
Despite being unsure about this, he did have a point and plus, maybe they can finally be friends after all of the atonement her former enemies had done to make up for the horrible things they did.
"Well...I guess it'll be okay." Serena nodded, before turning to those who were saying that they would be back before they knew it and she promised that they will be careful.
As it was decided that Serena, Darien, Amy, Raye, Lita, Mina, Rini, Lusie, Sakura, Madision, Kero, Ash, Pikachu, Misty, Brock, May, Max, Dawn, Piplup, Casey, Rena, Sora, Riku, Kairi, Mickey, Donald, Goofy, Roxas, Xion, Lea, Isa, Kaylie, Simon, Jake, Savanna, Dusknoir, Team Pokepals, Cloud, Tifa, Aerith, Yuffie, Vincent, Shrek, Fiona, Donkey, Puss, Manny, Ellie, Sid, Granny, Diego, Crash, Eddie, Buck(who has taking the lead), Aqua, Terra, Ven, Jason, Lyla, Sceptile, Rufus, Tseng, Reno, Rude, Elena, Jessie, James, Meowth, Alain, Mairin, Jack, Barbossa, their Crew, Tiffenie, Luna, Amelia, Kristen, Megan and Emily were all going, they said their goodbyes to everyone else who waved back and began to walk forth towards their new adventure...
Before Didi called out to Serena. "Make sure you and your friends go to bed early and call when you get there, Serena."
"OH!" The Moon Princess missed a step in shock before falling onto the ground(anime-style), embarrassed, while the rest of her group paused to stare at her. She then stood up and groaned before rejoining the others.
As they did, the Guardians of Light, Buck, Rufus, the Turks and the Pirates of the Black Pearl marched onward through the misty cloud illuminating yellow light with style, ready to take on another challenge.
"Yeah, now this is an adventure!" Jason cheered excitedly, only to accidentally slip and fall onto the ground, which made Manny laugh at him.
Nearby them, Jack, Gibbs, Reno and Rude were walking side by side having a small conversation in the two pirates getting to know the two Turks.
"Whew! Never been on a mission with so many people around before. Just wish the other Turks were here to join us." Reno remarked. This was much larder than the time with the other former Turks in the past and a much bigger crowd too.
"There was a gathering similar to this one at the great battle against that git Xehanort, lad. Not an easy one, mind you." Jack informed the redhead, though he cringed over the memory.
"I can imagine." The second in Command replied, then smirked. "It's kinda cool to be teamed up with Pirates, though."
Before the conversation could continue, they heard coughing behind them and looked over their shoulders to see Granny cough through the mist as she grumbled. "Ugh. What is this stuff?"
She then randomly picked up a Hyrax and like using an inhaler, she sucked the air from the little animal before tossing it away and, her throat seemingly back to normal, she continued onward. That only disgusted the two Turks and two Pirates who all all groaned, feeling sick to their stomachs.
"Ugh..." Reno groaned.
"Blegh..." Jack stuck his tongue out.
"Think I'm gonna be sick." The twenty-seven year old shuddered, placing a hand to his stomach.
"As do I." The Pirate Captain agreed, before he and the other three continued onward while trying to get the image out of their heads.
This was just the beginning of another big quest, fully unaware of the dangers that stood between them and their goal.
A/N: Phew! That was long. I know this was a breather chapter, sorry about that. But I will try to make it more exciting in the next chapter as the journey now begins. But what our heroes don't know is that they won't be alone and they won't be having good company following them either.
