Summary/disclaimer: Time for another chapter of Prince of Monsters and the Purple Lady. Enjoy the 6200-word chapter. I don't own Kibo, Hasbro and a few others do.
Kipo felt weird here, and not in the usual way. She could tell something was off about the jungles, the waters… It felt like something here wanted her dead just by smell alone.
It almost made her glad the others weren't around, they'd have charged in to protect her and ended up making a problem worse for themselves, knowing what was coming and dreading it in their way.
Perhaps it was just weird like that. It felt a LOT like something here was off and she just didn't know it for now.
Weird… And she still kept walking, wanting to know what it was for now, knowing for now what was going on for now as she paused to look downwards.
(With the creature.)
He kept running, trampling vines and roots under him for now. he did not care as they had come back, for now? He had a LOT more to try and figure out… Like where to run, where to hide, and where was safe for him.
This just made to relax more as he looked downwards at the water, catching a glimpse of his half-mutated face. It almost made him happy but he didn't want to dwell on it… He knew more and more that if he stopped? They would catch him…
And he would be damned if it did. He kept running, pausing only to hazard a simple glance over his shoulder, expecting the luscious greenery to explode, replaced with the dull gun metal grey vehicles which hunted him.
So easy to break but with SO many that it could be too much…Which made running so much better. That? And they were aware he could not maintain the form he was able to tap into, it was more or less like trying to relax inside razor blades.
He growled, baring a mouth filled with fang like teeth, he'd hunt them down if he had his strength fully back… He so really wants to cut them down if he could.
He heard words and blinked; they were not human… And not those of the group that had helped him escape before.
It was the sound of a girl… And one whom he had not encountered before. He blinked, it was not close, not at least within the range of normal human vocal cords.
He grunted before feeling more pain shoot up his side, not from their weapons but because he was utterly in pain from it all… And he knew he was going to be in pain sooner or later the second he transformed into that form again.
And yet? He was going to be doing it for now as he looked downwards at the ground, clasping a hand to his stomach before he looked down to the ground.
He clenched a fist and decided that if the human wasn't going to be a threat? He'd pick her over the rest of the pieces he had on his mind for now.
This would not be something that he could deal with for now as he paused to himself, utterly thrown off as he paused, grasping a leaf that tore under his fingers, ripping into pieces.
He had a LOT of reasoning to be able to try and figure out something before they found him.
Yet? He wanted to find this human, warn her away from this pace, there were no friends here, only animals who hid under the vestiges of human flesh. They had nothing else to deal with as of now.
It did nothing but make him scowl before he seemed to lean downwards to the ground, pain cutting through his chest. He was too pained to even run as he sighed.
"Cursed humans…" He hissed through gritted teeth before he sighed to himself. "They aren't going to stop, they didn't stop with Girus, with Ro… No… They ain't going to stop, so I'll stop them." He stated as he leaned on the tree.
He leaned on the wall, utterly tired, utterly thrown off… He slowly yet surely forced himself onto his feet before he slowly kicked himself, pausing for now and knowing that if he didn't move? He'd either be rotting in a cage or killed for his DNA.
He sighed as he realized there was something else to relax upon doing, something that he could deal with for now… Yes, it would be dealt with for now as he paused, utterly unsure of what was going on… He did not wish to do anything.
(With Kipo)
She at first thought that it was wolf hiding in the brush, which wouldn't have surprised her considering that it was a friend… Yep, it was almost too funny, almost too amusing before she realized that it wasn't, there was no possible way as they weren't headed towards her at all and what glimpses she saw were not of her.
It almost made her give chase… No, it DID Make her give chase as she paused only to make sure that it was ok… If they needed to? Wolf and the others would keep finding her at the end of the day.
They were fast, really, fast… She would continue to run, knowing what was coming as she paused to look to the side. The madness in her mind would keep running as she rushed forwards, never breaking her stride.
"Wait!" Kipo yelled, causing them to glance for a second before sprinting even faster.
The figure easily crashed through a tree, bark shattering like it was made of glass before rolling, tucking its legs to its chest, and sprinting even faster.
Kipo paused only to realize that she was lagging for a few seconds before she looked downwards at the ground. There was just more to try and figure something out as he paused to seem to try and figure out something.
He sighed, pausing only to look at her for a few moments, perhaps glancing at her and then yawning, he looked far more tired than she did… Unsure of what needed to be done with him, he paused for a second, unsure of what needed to be done and what would be utterly consumed.
His eyes were the only thing she noticed, he glanced at her before pausing, his eyes a glowing blue cyan which burned with energy almost pulsing through them.
He paused as he looked at her, sighing to himself before clicking his tongue against the roof of his mouth, fang like teeth poking from his bottom lip.
She looked at him, pausing to look at him directly, he was taller than her even though he seemed hunched over a bit, with a blackish blue jacket that covered his chest, and black boots which matched more those of a soldier than those of a civilian.
His hair was spiky black as night which was unmatted, and untamed and he had mostly ashy grey skin which looked like a stone as he paused.
"You aren't safe here… Leave before one of them hurts you." He said before leaping from the ledge.
"Wait!" Kipo yelled, running to the edge only to see that he vanished below water which was far too deep for anything to have been seen in it.
She blinked, confused about what needed to happen, she sighed to herself before she cracked her fingers. This was just confusing as she blinked again, not knowing what could be dealt with at the time being.
"Who was that?" Kipo questioned before she paused before she rubbed at her temples. "Dang it should have grabbed them when I had the chance," Kipo stated as she slowly backed away.
She hadn't seen many humans or even Mutes, there was very little here that she had seen that wasn't destroyed as she knew for a fact that more people existed for now.
She was utterly thrown off by it all as she seemed to look downwards, watching the water slowly yet seemed to explode, utterly unsure of what to deal with next before she sighed to herself.
They had a LOT more to try and figure out, she would need to figure out what had been going on as she looked downwards at the ground, thrown for a loop on the fact that she had to run more and more around the place to relax.
She was exhausted at the end of the day. This amount of amusement and exhaustion, for now, bothered her as she rubbed at her temples, knowing that she had to go and find them sooner or later… And while she was happy to go hunting them down before they hurt someone or something and all suffered.
And she wanted to know who had been hurt and who would get hurt if she didn't help them, she barely noticed the fact they were bleeding on their hip, they were hurt but she barely saw the wound, it was patching itself up nicely.
The sheer idea of it seemed to bother her but she wouldn't allow herself to fail someone…. She chose to leap in, chasing them… Her friends would follow her, they could at least tell where she went.
(With the boy)
He was silent, silent as the grave as he swam through the water, his body half morphed with jagged spines ripping through his clothes, unsure of it.
He swam faster than any human, even their submarines would pale compared to him… Like his father, he cut through the water like it was butter and himself a knife, whatever stood in his path he quickly swam around.
He paused only to look over his shoulder at something, he heard a slight noise and saw a ripple.
The girl, the woman… She swam through the water like a shark, slowly twisting and turning towards him.
Could she be like him? He didn't think so, he could feel the gills on the sides of his neck open, water gushing over him. He saw no such look at her… Part of him wanted to grip her and drag her into the depths, another human to suffer as he and his few friends did.
However? He didn't know her, hasn't seen her before and her pink skin was not a trait he had seen on any humans.
But that left more questions… So yet? She would be unable to do something to him… He decided that fighting wasn't in his interest, even if his blood boiled at the sight of another human.
He swam for the surface, his tail which swung back and forth like a boat's rudder propelling him to the surface, slicing through the water like a thousand swords as he pierced through the water, pausing only to surface, poking his head through the water like a crocodilian surfacing towards prey.
He slowly dragged himself to shore, his dorsal fins poking through the small gaps in his jacket. He had never understood how these clothes were able to transform back and forth between his forms.
"Hey!" He heard before he turned and looked down at the water to see the girl pull herself from the depths of Crimson Bay.
"Why did you follow me, human? How many of their number must I crush to send the message?" He asked, his eyes glowing blue with energy.
"What… What are you talking about?" She asked as he growled, pointing a finger at her.
"Do not pretend… The humans took my father from me… All you want is the DNA, no care for my friends." He hissed before she noticed his hands were clawed.
"Wait, you're a mute?" She asked as he snorted.
"No, titans and hybrids aren't mutes, any scientist working for APEX would know that like you do." He stated before he turned to walk away. "If you are not with Apex? Get back to the village, there will be a hundred soldiers here in an hour… They will not ask questions." He stated before he shook the water off him.
"Apex, what's Apex?" She asked before he sighed.
"Well, either you are the worst liar in the history of Crimson Bay… Or you are not with them." He muttered, pausing only to point in the direction of the town.
"Your hurt bad." She stated before he snorted again, rolling his eyes at the gesture.
"I heal fast." He stated while pausing only to look to the side. "As I said, get to Crimson Bay if you aren't with Apex… I need to go find the rest of my friends and the last thing I need is another human following me." He stated before he turned and walked away.
"Wait!" She yelled in a tone that made his ears flatten against his head.
"What?" He asked, turning to look at her. "Either you are from APEX and lying and I will end up taking you down like I take down everyone I fight or you're from Crimson Bay… Which is currently in danger from APEX… Which is where I am going." He stated, snorting as he looked at her.
"What is Crimson Bay? I have never heard of it…" She said before blinking and offering a smile. "I'm Kipo!" She yelled in a tone that made him wince slightly again.
Rather than respond, he stared at her outstretched hand, pausing only to think for a moment about what was going on. She blinked, surprised but looked at him utterly confused as he slowly turned around.
"Zil… Prince of the Titans and protector of Crimson Bay." He said before he turned to walk away. "Unless you are here to kill or capture me? Head home, if it was not for my father? You would not be welcome there…. It belonged to the Titans far before the Humans or even Mutes." He stated before he sighed.
"Titans?" Kipo asked as she paused.
"Titans… Giant monsters, ones that rip apart cities like toys." Zil stated as he rolled his eyes. "You want to know more, go find Girus. He's the nice one to humans, I have to get back before someone takes over or before Ro causes trouble." He stated before he backed away.
He knew she was going to follow. It was far too easy to understand it for now and if she was anything like the natives of Crimson Bay? They served the titans, revered his father as the king of all titans and the ruler of Crimson Bay, they had let the humans live in their shadows, they had allowed humans to toil within the area.
However? After what Apex did? He was fresh out of care for them, they could leave or they could stay. They could serve or die; he did not care for now at the same time.
He was fresh out of care, unwilling to care for now. He would relax for now, knowing that he could relax at the end of the day.
She had a lot more issues at the end of the day, she had a LOT more to try and figure out something at the end of the day.
Zil sighed and fell silent, utterly tired and in no mood to explode as he had before now, his eyes, glowing blue with energy from his body. His heart pulsed like a drum and beat with enough energy to fill a nuclear reactor.
He didn't know what was going on, he didn't know what she was and he couldn't care now. He paused, looking at her as he hummed, his blue irises glowing with energy that seemed to keep building and building like a cannonball loaded within the gun.
She didn't know what would become of that sort of thing but she didn't care, she paused to relax more and more as of the time being while she relaxed more and more as she seemed to fall silent.
Yes, it would be ridiculous… But what the hell did he have to lose? He already had very little to deal with and VERY little to win or lose at the end of the day.
"Come… With me, I'll take you back to Crimson Bay, it isn't like I'm going somewhere else and I just do not have the energy to be mad like I usually am." Zil stated before he sighed, pulling up part of his jacket so it covered the top of his head.
"Ok!" Kipo yelled as he rolled his eyes. "So… Grey skin, giant spikes growing out of your back… You sure you are not a mute?" Kipo asked as he looked at her.
"I told you I am half titan…. Mutes live in Crimson Bay with humans, just like some did before everything blew up… Why? Do you think Mutes can shapeshift?" Zil asked.
She fell silent, he was beginning to ponder if she wasn't from around the area, utterly silent before now.
"Apex is bad people… If you aren't from around here? Their bad people, horrible people. I have seen humans that evil before… And I will butcher them if they come after me again." He stated before he sighed, utterly thrown off for now.
He didn't want to talk, to speak about them at the end of the day, there was a lot more to try and figure something out… If he had to go to war with APEX again? He'd do so, knowing they'd do if they went to work.
He paused, landing his hands on his hips, pausing to look at the leaves around before he paused to look downwards at the ground.
"They can't be that bad," Kipo said as Zil sighed before he fell silent.
"Your see when we get there if you aren't from around here," Zil stated before he paused, falling silent as he looked downwards at the ground for now.
There was a lot more to try and deal with it for now and for good. Nothing good would happen anytime soon, not yet… Not yet, he had a LOT more to go before that would be dealt with as of now.
There was just too much to try and deal with for now. He had to get home, find out what to do about APEX… Then? He had to find Girus and make sure the rest of his group wasn't able to try and survive.
They had a LOT more to figure out, a LOT more than before to relax… If for no other reason than they would not survive.
He couldn't allow that, he wouldn't, he'd lay waste to them all at the end of the day. There was a LOT more he had to do next as he paused, taking a deep breath, pausing only to relax for now… There were a LOT of things to think of.
"So… You turn into an animal when you do that?" Kipo asked as Zil hummed.
"If you mean animal by 'turns into a 262-foot titan, yes.'" Zil stated before Kipo's eyes widened.
She hadn't heard of a beast that big. Not even Dr. Emila as a mute was that tall, he couldn't be serious. He paused, looking at her.
"My father is taller… Why?" He asked, raising an eyebrow, and looking at her.
"Uh… Didn't think you were that tall?" Kipo asked to which Zil hummed.
"Ok. You're not from around here, Lady…" Zil muttered before he closed his eyes. "Where the frack is Girus, always around when I don't need him yet totally not around when I don't need him," Zil stated, pausing to look to the ground, utterly thrown off for now.
"Friend?" Kipo asked before Zil hummed.
"Yes, human… Friend. Very close friend." Zil stated, some of the bile from before sinking in.
"Hey, I'm not fully…." Kipo started to say as he looked at her.
She saw anger, the same her friends said she felt when she wanted to burn the boat years ago. There were cracks, anger, and hate pouring through his cold stare… The look that someone who had been hurt held.
However? While Kipo wanted to hug him? She was not as tactless as before not to realize that some people needed to chill before then. He looked at her without a single shred of sympathy.
"I'm sorry humans did something bad to you," Kipo said as Zil huffed.
"You sound like Girus," Zil said before sighing. "C'mon, I'm not going to slow down either, it's far too far away for me to slow down anyway, it would take all day," Zil stated before he sighed, looking downwards at the ground.
He didn't want to slow down at all either, there was no reason to, she'd never be able to catch up if he walked in Titan form and the fact, he was so tired from his escape made him want to scream and break something.
He simply took it in stride, knowing what would become of it for now, not wanting to stop to pause relaxing.
All of it hurt and not in a good way, so he decided to push it to the side, Ro would probably give him some sort of feel-good speech when he got back here at the time and it meant little if he didn't get back to the city, pausing only to relax, another measure of mercy.
That had been something that would need to relax, he cracked his fingers.
There seemed to be a LOT of things that he could deal with as he paused. He cracked his fingers before yawning, relaxing more and more before pausing and humming and rubbing at his nose.
They had a LOT more options that he could honestly pause to consider, he hummed, looking downwards at the ground.
"You were saying you aren't human fully," Zil said before turning to look at her, crossing his arms across his chest. "And I guess I can see that; I've never seen a human with pink skin and eyes…" Zil stated before he frowned.
Kipo hummed, nobody had ever brought up how she looked. He was right though, the ONLY girl who has pink skin which made her stand out, and yet Wolf nor Dave nor Benson EVER commented on it.
She supposed she'd ask her parents why she had pink skin from such a thing before relaxing and looking downwards at the ground. She paused to look at Zil who sighed and clawed at his arms, cracking his fingers before smiling to himself.
"Anyway," Zil stated, his smile slowly faltering. "I will bring you to Crimson Bay… But if you ARE lying to me?" Zil asked before his eyes glowed bright blue.
"You are going to see if I'M lying about the lizard thing," Zil stated before he growled and gritted his teeth. "C'mon… Let's see if you are lying." Zil said before he cracked a smile filled with fangs and teeth.
Kipo heard the tone of his words, knowing that it sounded like he was protecting someone or something. She was entirely thrown off for a few seconds as he slowly started to walk into the forest, pausing a second to let her follow after him.
She sighed and fell utterly tired, exhausted before now as she realized Wolf was going to have a LOT of issues with a giant monster man if he was telling the truth.
Though, considering she was part mute and a giant monster? She couldn't exactly pretend to not believe it at least a LITTLE.
She slowly followed after him, pausing to think of what would be done, what had to be done if she was going to help them. It wasn't easy to tell if Zil simply didn't like humans or if he had some sort of grudge against them.
Zil paused every few steps to let her catch up, guessing she was going to have trouble finding him if he ran ahead, not knowing if she was entirely human.
He wouldn't put it past her to be a titan like him, they had a habit of coming out of nowhere to find Crimson Bay and it wasn't exactly surprising given his father's cry had echoed across the entire region.
However? That raised MANY questions for now when it came down to it now, something that hurt his giant fragile brain to try and figure out something, anything that might be able to be handled, it wouldn't be ok with him either way.
Yet? Such ideals were part of what drove him further and further down the road he had wanted to bring himself to, and he felt he owed that much at least.
They had a lot more to deal with, a LOT more to do.
"So, Girus? He is nice?" Kipo asked as Zil's eyes narrowed.
"Yes… But he's not nice to people who hurt his friends or home. The same with me, he is powerful." Zil stated before he hummed and then clacked his jaw. "Why? He is probably waiting at the gate to the city like he always does." Zil stated before he sighed to crack his fingers.
Kipo hummed before she paused to look to the side, utterly unsure of it all, she seemed to be utterly unsure of herself and of him before she relaxed.
He said nothing, he was probably angry about something and yet she noticed something: a greenish splotch on his hip.
"Why is your skin… Oh… Wait, are you hurt?!" Kipo yelled as Zil blinked, glancing down at his wound.
"Wha…?" Zil stated before he sighed and crossed his arms. "Oh? Right, I forgot one of their bullets hit my skin." Zil stated before he sighed.
He clenched his hands before Kipo watched as his flesh, torn and diced from some object slowly knitted itself together, skin slowly fusing over the area with the scaly grey skin she had seen easily draping over the cut.
"Great, now I'm tired," Zil muttered before his mouth opened and he let out a yawn, exposing his teeth and fangs.
She questioned if he was half mute like her. He was not fully human with grey scales and jagged spines jutting from his back. However? She couldn't tell what he was but she guessed it was reptilian as she had put out such an issue.
The two slowly passed deeper and deeper into the jungle. Kipo paused to look at several trees, grooves, and claws cut into each tree, bark torn out entirely and shredded like she had raked her claws across it.
"Oh, Girus has been around here then," Zil stated before he sighed. "GIRUS! GIRUS! ANGUIRUS!" Zil yelled, baring his fangs.
Kipo was about to ask why he was yelling before the ground shook, cracking like itself was splintering under the wrath of the beast rampaging upon it for now.
She blinked as she looked around to see a monster, a BIG creature which could only be stated to be a monster, a mute that was rivaling even HER at her strongest, spikes jutting from its spiny shell like some demonic turtle.
"Girus!" Zil yelled as the beast galloped towards them. "Down, Girus, we aren't APEX, I KNOW you can hear me!" Zil stated as the beast galloped to them, trampling several trees in the way.
This was Girus? This thing was either the BIGGEST mute she had seen since then or something else… It was massive… And it looked too precious.
"Girus!" Zil yelled.
The beast stopped, pausing in mid-charge, sliding to a halt in front of them and pausing to look at them, it let out a snort as it kneeled.
The idea of it would be something not yet dealt with, not ideally for now… It would be dealt with in time and space.
"So, you do know who I am still, bud?" Zil asked as the large beast slowly started to nod. "Good, you can drop the form… I am ok." Zil stated before the beast nodded.
There was a cracking, snapping noise as the beast slowly transformed, slowly yet surely growing smaller and smaller as its paws slowly became hands, spikes vanishing into its back.
The beast seemed to be utterly unsure as it shrunk as if the mere act of doing so was odd for now… It felt surreal.
There was a pause, watching as the creature slowly started to relax, shrinking into a boy SHORTER than him and her, hair as spiky and tan as the spines on the monster's back. Its shell transformed into a backpack like carapace and it wore tan sneakers like hers along with a green jacket like its skin.
The creature finally opened its eyes, orange as the sun.
"GOJI!" The boy stated as Zil rolled his eyes.
"Never going to let my dad's nickname for me die, are you?" Zil asked as Anguirus chuckled.
"Oh, hi, human lady!" Girus stated before Zil rolled his eyes.
"As I said, giant softie," Zil stated before he smiled at the boy. "You, ok?" Zil asked as Girus chuckled.
"Yeah… Mothra and Baragon went out to look for you… But I guess we all got split up." Girus stated to which he paused.
"Course she'd disobey my order to run while I lured Apex away because apparently, she doesn't agree with simple orders…" Zil muttered, pausing to think for a second.
"She is worried, we all are… Ever since we woke up? You have been grumpy." Girus stated before humming, thinking for a few seconds how it would sound.
"Happens when humans try and shoot holes into your face, Girus," Zil stated before he yawned. "Did anyone find Crimson Bay? I know the last group of mutes we let in were a bit grumpy, but they didn't seem to want a fight." Zil stated.
"No, Mothra was keeping them from causing problems… Comes with being the titan of peace." Girus stated before Zil sighed and looked at the ground.
"Let's just get back to Crimson Bay, the more that time we spend here? The more we are going to be in trouble when they show up." Zil stated to which Girus chuckled.
"Even like this you never seem to want to relax, do you? always go, go, go…." Girus said before looking over the side, pausing to think for a moment about it.
He sighed, not relaxed for now and unable to do more to try and deal with it for now and for good… Such things needed to be done.
"Which one of us remembers the last time I sat back? Because I remember clearly as to what is going on." Zil stated while pausing to think of what to try and figure out as of now… It would matter little.
"You should not mind Goji. He's nice when you catch him on a non-grumpy day… Plus, he does care a lot about helping people." Girus stated to Kipo as Zil sighed.
"You know why I am grumpy, Girus. It's why we fled to Crimson Bay; you know…" Zil muttered before he crossed his arms. "I fled to Crimson Bay… You fled to Australia." Zil stated before he sighed.
"Yeah, well? We always find each other again, buddy. Always." Girus said before turning to Kipo. "So, the human lady that is purple, I am Anguirus, the titan of the underground, lord of the land, and security councilor of Crimson Bay… Who are you?" Girus asked, tilting his head the same way a puppy would.
"Well, my name is Kipo! Nice to meet you!" Kipo yelled before Girus blinked.
"FRIEND!" Girus yelled before lurching forwards.
Kipo found herself hoisted into the air in a hug that would have probably snapped her bones if done to anyone else besides her or another Mute.
"Oy, you are hopeless, Girus," Zil stated before noticing her hugging back. "Just… Carry her to Crimson Bay if you are going to hug her for so long. She is not from around here either way." Zil stated to which there was silence.
"So Mothra was right. Other human and mute settlements survived… We should tell her." Girus stated before pausing to himself.
"You do… Crimson Bay is our home and we're struggling as it is to deal with all the people and mutes living there…" Zil said while they continued to walk.
"Well, as Prince of Crimson Bay, you and your dad have the final say." Zil heard before Kipo blinked.
"Wait, so you are a prince? Like the royal title?" Kipo asked as Girus carried her, putting her on his shoulder.
"Not exactly. My dad is a king of a sort and as his son, I am a prince of sorts." Zil stated before he rubbed at his eyes. "Girus, a prince is a human title. We are not fully human; we have not been normal since we were born." Zil stated, pausing.
"Your dad was king, Goji. That's what people used to call him before the big war." Girus stated.
"You mean back when we weren't shot at for existing?" Zil stated, venom coming from his tone.
He paused, letting them think, looking around. Girus fell silent, his smile curling into a frown as he realized he had touched a nerve, a wound that hadn't healed in a long time. He could not believe it had been this way for a long time, not wishing to relax, to see it come down to it.
There were a few seconds of silence which seemed to be utterly maddened to put through for now and it would seem to end sooner or later… There were a LOT of ideas that it would end and end well.
He didn't know, didn't wish to know, and could not entirely ready to relax… It seemed to make him sigh.
"You dislike humans," Kipo said as Girus hummed.
"Give the human a cookie," Zil muttered. "And no. I don't enjoy being around them. Most shoot at me and Girus for what you saw and I don't like people who shoot me in the face." Zil stated.
"You heal, Zil… I do not, not as fast." Girus stated which caused Zil to turn.
"And that is why I get VERY angry with them and use violence on them, Girus… Kipo reminds me of Mothra… So many questions and so nice even in a world where everything is chaos and violence." Zil stated.
"The world isn't all like that," Kipo said as both titan hybrids turned to her. "I have met good people; they will not hurt you guys… Even if Girus is big." Kipo stated.
"Well, Zil still does not like people. He helps people but then leaves when he is done around them, like a giant babysitter." Girus said as Zil sighed.
"Yeah, giant babysitter… It's all I'm good as, Zil." Girus stated before he sighed, pausing to think.
The two continued their walk through the jungle, Kipo looked at both of them and seemed fascinated by how little they had on their mind at the end of the day.
Zil for his part stayed more silent than anything. It felt more like he refused to speak even if he wished to… it was so odd that it cut into him like a knife and he felt docile, almost muted in emotion.
Girus, on the other hand, seemed to radiate energy. There was a smile on his face as wide as a city as he gently carried Kipo as if she was a doll despite being shorter than her.
The trio slowly yet surely seemed to wade through the jungle, Zil lazily flicking palm leaves from his face and brushing off dew and dirt as if it was speckles of a small bug. He paused to let himself sigh, looking more tired and unable to do more than scream which he barely held in.
Kipo could tell something had bugged him and perhaps it had been humans. A creature the size of Girus was able to lay waste to anything in its path, an idea that made her think there was some truth to their words.
Yet? She did not know them, she wished to… But she did not know them and it felt almost odd that she did not at all seem to grasp them.
Perhaps they were nice but simply wished to try and figure something out as of the time being while it came down to it… There was a lot more to try and figure out, something about it all seemed to be dealt with.
Such things would determine more than her and more than relaxed for now at the time being when it came down to it. There was a lot more to see and do for now at the time being.
