"Ah yeah, it's my turn," Denki cheered happily while annoying Jiro a little too much that she jabbed him with her jacks "Ouch."
"From the sound of it, Young Kamirai is getting a wolf or something resembling one," All Might recalled thoughtfully.
"No matter what he'll get, all I see are potential problems that I'll have to answer for," Aizawa groaned with his head in his hands much to the amusement of the other pro heroes.
"How big do you think this one will be? I'm betting on it being the size of a horse," Kamishima guessed.
"I'm betting on it being more than one monster as wolves have a pack mentality and use it to their advantages like hunting," Mineta guessed with a thoughtful look on his face.
The class looked at the small boy, most of them impressed by his knowledge while the rest were shocked by it. "What the hell?" Jirou muttered.
"How do you know that?" Mina asked, both surprised and scared.
"I studied and learned a few things," was Mineta's smug answer.
"What he said is true as his score from the written entrance exam helped him earn a spot in class," Aizawa informed the class, sending a few of the students for a loop by the information.
"It's just so…..shocking," Mina admitted.
"If you're all done with taking about Grape-boy's intelligence," Trepp said, "We can start the next video."
A strange large bird was shown grazing in the woods, when it suddenly raised its head and looked around. Suddenly, the massive figure of a quadrupedal creature lumbered through the forest with an epic song playing behind it for a bit. It then cut back to the herbivores of the forest, who were scrambling to get away with screams playing as they dashed back and forth frantically to escape. A bit more of the creature was shown, the song once again accompanying it as strange bugs were seen flying around it. More screaming and running from the herbivores was then shown. They even ran past a bear-like creature that was busy eating honey from a beehive, not caring what they were running from, until it dropped the beehive. It went to retrieve it, but then noticed the wolf creature and ran for its life, the wolf creature instead stomping down on the hive and roaring proudly as it reached a clearing, the bugs spiraling all around it as it brought its paw down on the screen with a squishing sound effect, the song playing all the while.
"Oh," Kota muttered.
"My," Uraraka groaned.
"GOD?" Sero yelled.
"Aw yeah, that's my monster and he's looking awesome," Denki cheered like he was crowned the king of the world.
"This is complete and utter bullshit!" Bakugo raged as this was another awesome monster that he thought fit him better than his classmate.
"Oh yes, fellow hunters, welcome. Can you feel it in the air? The potential? The crackle? The tingle on your skin? Well, it's time, finally, for everyone's favorite thunder puppy. Meet, then, Zinogre." Rage declared as an intimidating mountain region was shown at night during a thunderstorm, rugged mountain terrain and dead trees was all that could be seen, before Zinogre suddenly stomped onto the scene. A female hunter was then shown making her way through the area, reacting to some falling rocks, then turning to see the mighty beast glaring down at her from a high up peak, before pouncing down at her. "Named after an ogre, of course, because he's as ugly as one." Rage insulted the mighty beast, before a clip was shown of a number of guys were shown cheering super loud as if they were cheering about an epic burn.
"I don't know, looks pretty cool to me," Sato admitted, not seeing anything wrong with this monster. On the contrary, He saw many things that screamed 'Dangerous' to him.
"Gives a sort of 'try and mess with me' vibe," Mina shivered at the fierce monster.
"Does matter, that monster is still awesome," Denki cheered while barely keeping his excitement in check.
"It looks tough and manly," Kirishima cried, wanting to see more of it.
"Okay, look. While how he works is both fascinating and badass, I've never kinda clicked with his aesthetic. But I don't want to start on a NEGATIVE, much rather a POSITIVE, CHARGE forward into this CURRENT video and really SPARK a discussion on the Thunder Wolf Wyvern." Rage declared, laughing a bit at his joke. As he said this the female hunter was doing her best to outrun and evade the creature, making sudden and sharp turns, which often led the beast to crash into a wall, until she dove through a large hole in a rock wall and rolling out the other side, Zinogre only able to fit its head through, pulling it back and trying to reach her with its claws, but not having any more success.
"Why is he…..No, please no," Bakugo growled once he realized what was going on.
"What's wrong, Kaachan?" Izuku asked.
"Stop with that stupid name. This fucker is emphasizing on some electricity puns," Bakugo explained, causing everyone to think about what Rage just said. After a moment most of the students and Aizawa groaned at that while the Pussycats, Allmight, Denki and Kota laughed.
"I love it," Denki laughed and thought of looking up puns later. Jiro, knowing how the electric quirk user thought, made it her mission to stop any attempts of Denki using puns.
"I will fail you if you do. Consequences be damned and no matter what Nezu says," Aizawa promised, causing Denki to plot on using the puns when not near his teacher.
"His forelimbs, thick and muscled, able to crush into the very rock beneath him, with razor sharp claws adorning his paws, each almost as piercing as his roars." Rage elaborated in a mystifying manner as the Zinogre repeatedly charged the rock wall, eventually bringing it down and roaring with pride as it prepared to take on the hunter. "White fur lining his body, interchanging with gold-plated scale, giving him this regal appearance capped off with a wolf's face adorned with twin horns, standing proud as he bared his fanged maw and... chin spikes..." Rage continued, before slowly stopping as he got to the chin spikes, the image frozen on the screen. "Seriously, what could've required him to evolve and develop a chin spike?! He could use his lower jaw as a fork!" He snapped as the cartoon image of a steak flew onto the screen and was stabbed onto his chin spikes.
"Damn that monster looks manly and tough. You think I can fight it?" Kirashima asked with a grin.
"Get in line weird hair, if anyone gets the first swing it's me," Bakugo challenged, as he liked the monster so far.
"Though chin spikes are….odd," Ragdoll said, "Not bad but just odd."
"Evolution can happen in the strangest yet unpredictable ways," Momo commented since she knew it from all the documentaries she saw.
"Then, of course, we have his tail, broad and essentially a tool for battering his enemies into submission. Zinogre, then, is used to being the unchallenged apex of all he surveys and what he surveys is the misty peaks he calls home." Rage explained as Aylia was crouched down, observing a Zinogre from a small distance away, miraculously without being spotted. "Enough physical strength to wrestle down an angry Tigrex," He declared as the image of a Tigrex appeared on screen, "Speed and grace to make a Nargacuga jealous," He added on as the image of a blushing Nargacuga appeared on screen, softly calling the thunder wolf "Baka" before flying off-screen. "He essentially is the full package and it is being delivered, first-class to your face and no, it's not gonna be handled with care." Rage went on as the Zinogre finally noticed Aylia and attacked viciously, sending her flying back with a slam of its paw.
"With all that power and speed, it seems that many of us can't fight it," Iida theroized thoughtfully.
"Fuck says I can't," Bakugo growled challengingly, "That fucker is dead if i ever see one."
"Hey," Denki yelled, worried about his new friend.
"Besides yours, Pikachu," Bakugo reassured harshly.
"Using the perfect triumvirate of speed, strength and agility, leaping into the air as fast as you can blink, twirling in the moonlight and slamming down with back or tail, surging forward with a shoulder barge that would make even a greatsword user froth at the mouth, the horns able to impale you without a second thought, armor shredding like paper, he really is able to hold his own, but he needs a little bit more than this to continue staking his claim. He gets regularly into fights, aggressively territorial, he would rather die than give up his land." Rage explained as Aylia continued facing off against the beasts, dodging some of the aforementioned attacks, but also, on occasion, sending a ball of lightning at her, before howling as strange lights flowed into him.
"Sounds like it's the perfect predator," Tiger muttered as he felt intimidated by the monster.
"Definitely not a monster i want to fight alone," Mandalay admitted
"It's starting to sound like a monster that even pro heroes would need to be cautious with," Shoto commented after hearing that.
"Would that just be every monster?" Kota asked as even his own monster seemed dangerous.
"Yes but some seem simple enough or at least simple to understand. Others like Zinogre have the power to give high ranking pros a challenge," Allmight answered as he could tell this monster was a cut above most of the ones they already saw. (AN:1)
"That makes sense," Toru muttered, suddenly feeling scared of what other monsters they'll see.
"Fortunately, the land is full of living lights, painting the air in beautiful bio-luminescence. These are the thunderbugs, tiny little beetle-esque creatures that someone has stuck a mini taser to. And Zinogre, well... he is a fan. So, him and them have a symbiotic relationship and..." Rage began explaining Zinogre's allies.
"It's electrifying!" The familiar clip borrowed from Grease used in Kirin's lore played with the greaser falling to the ground, mimicking being electrocuted.
"Oh no," Iida muttered, feeling dread build up inside him.
"What does that mean?" Sero asked .
"It means that they can use each other in a positive way. Like friends that have your back no matter what," Mineta answered with simpler classmates nodding as it made sense.
"Because what a thunderbug does, shockingly, as the name would imply, is release small amounts of electricity. Harmless by itself, but when they come together in great swarms, the energy is shared and great thunderbolts lurch out!" Rage declared as familiar footage of Zinogre trying and failing to fight Mizutsune was shown, until the sound of thunder boomed and everything went black, before a swarm of thunderbugs flew across the black screen with the sound of electricity as well. "Frying those nearby. However, this is rare, unless a Zinogre is involved." He reassured the audience.
"Definitely worse than a static shock," Shinso guessed
"And more lethal," Aoyoma added.
"I need those bugs. They can give me free energy to make more babies," Mei thought out loud with a plan in mind.
"Is that all you can see?" Uraraka inquired.
"Well duh, with a bunch of those bugs we can have all the free energy we could ever want," Mei said, "Now if only I can figure out how to transfer the power, we'll be in business."
"So, how does this all connect? Well, a Zinogre's main prey is a Gargwa, this colorful, plump bird that makes the most irritating sounds." Rage explained, calmly at first, but slowly getting annoyed. It was soon revealed why as Aylia stood next to a Gargwa, which began to let out long, irritating honking noises, appearing to be directed mostly at her.
"I don't blame them," Shoji and Jiro said as they cringed at the noise as Koda cried.
"I'll join them in wiping that bird off that world," Bakugo said.
"Honestly... And what the Gargwa eat, well, you guessed it. Thunderbugs. So what the thunderbugs up and did is go, 'Alright, lads! That wolf-y bastard over there has been eating these bird-brained fuckers that been munching on us. So, what I'm suggesting is we bob on over to him, move in, then when one of these cluckers comes for us, irony will ensue and they'll get eaten instead! innit?!'" Rage declared, as if reenacting the moment in time thunderbugs decided to become symbiotic with Zinogre.
"...I have no words," Allmight said, confused in one of the rare times of his life.
"I get the feeling this won't be the last time I hear this," Aizawa groaned as he heard one student start to talk in the same accent.
"This is gold," Mina and Toru giggled while most of the other students groaned.
"Either way! Zinogre is now covered in a swarm of thousands of thunderbugs. And they, as you know, generate electricity when agitated. Well, why would they be agitated on Zinogre? Well, when Zinogre is agitated, they sense it. When he is threatened, they are threatened and generate electricity, they do. Zinogre, then, with special battery-esque organs that can store and distribute to his body. And he uses this to not only add deadly effect to his already impressive physical onslaught by sheathing his very body in lightning, he can also use it to enhance his strength. You know when someone gets shocked and their muscles lock up and they suddenly spasm into a contorted pose? Well, Zinogre can weaponize that quirk of electricity on muscles. By giving just a small jolt, he can rapidly increase the firing speed of his muscle fibers, increasing his physical force." Rage explained as Zinogre was shown constantly charging, its body indeed crackling with lightning all around it, flipping and slamming down with far greater power and even sending out bursts of electricity.
"Like that," Mineta pointed out.
"That's…. Actually a good idea," Izuku said.
"Wait, that's possible?" Jiro and Denki asked, one fearing the ability and the other liking the sound of it.
"It's possible but we'd need to try it out after this," Izuku answered honestly, with Denki planning on trying it later. After talking to his classmate on some ideas first.
"We'll have to go over a few variables but it sounds plausible," Iida replied.
"But, it goes a lot further than this. You see, once Zinogre has taken on enough charge, well..." Rage began, before Zinogre was shown howling, although it sounded like a man screaming as he charged up with electricity. "He ascends. His eyes, now a vortex of blue emanating in the darkness. He is veritably overflowing with power. Now able to fight even more ferociously, he is nigh unstoppable. But... well, he can go even further beyond." He declared as Zinogre was shown howling and charging up once again, the lightning moving around him quicker and more intense.
"Reminds me how Izubro looks with his quirk," Kirishima muttered.
"It does bear a striking resemblance," Tsuyu commented with their classmate and blonde teacher sweating.
"At least the monster doesn't hurt itself or else it would lose most of its intimidation factor," Shoji said, making a few nod.
"And this... is to go even further beyond..." A man's voice declared as he screamed to channel his power, accompanied by epic music, all while Zinogre was still powering up, lightning seeming to strike all around him, even flinging Aylia back, before one final flash erupted and the electricity around Zinogre was somehow EVEN MORE intense and the spikes on his back appeared to have somehow gotten larger and sharper.
"That's….so….manly," Kirishima muttered at the sheer awesomeness before him.
"Goku does have that effect on others," Trepp said uninterested with the scene.
"Why do you sound bored?" Shoto asked.
"After seeing it a hundred times it gets boring," was Trepp's simple answer.
"Yep. He has a level two to his charge and this is dangerous. See, Zinogre cannot take on infinite amounts of electricity and he is in danger of burning himself out. In order to alleviate this, the fur that stands on end serves as a conduit to filter off excess current in order to keep his levels safe, lest critical mass be achieved. But in this supercharged state, he is nary untouchable, paralyzing all around him in thunderblight agony by his mere presence. And on top of all of this, he can enrage normally, too. Becoming incessantly fast, a thunderbolt of force cascading at you, that is the thunder wolf. One of the most mysterious aspects to this dramatic transformation is that the claws on his feet change, their physical alignment shifts to become even more deadly. How this is achieved is still a mystery to the guild." Rage explained the devastating changes and counterbalances to these forms, as well as showing the claws to indeed change depending on Zinogre being powered up or powered down.
"So a better version of Denki's quirk?" Jiro joked as a few giggled.
"Whhhyyyyy!" Denki cried in despair.
"How don't they know how this happens?" Pixie asked curiously.
"Either it's incompetence or they just weren't able to get the right amount of information from lack of research. Both are possible," Aizawa theorized while frowning.
"Most likely it's lack of research. If this monster is as dangerous as Rage is making it sound, it would be reasonable to say it's difficult to get any info on it," Momo guessed.
"So, Zinogre was only discovered because it was forced out of its mountain home by Amatsu, the living storm. It decided 'I'm having this mountain' and the Zinogre, unable to compete, came down en masse, technically becoming, or at least forced into acting as, an invasive species. A crisis in the guild, the hunters rallied and a great war began." Rage explained as a merchant with a cart was shown on a mountain during a torrential downpour, complete with thunder and lightning as Gargwa's and Zinogre's were forced to flee from this mighty storm, a swing of a Zinogre's tail knocking the merchant off the mountain accidentally.
"What kind of monster can cause that?" Koda cried in fear as the other students wondered as well.
"Whatever it is it must be something that's unchallenged," Ojiro muttered, not knowing he was somewhat right.
The adults on the other hand were starting to wonder if this monster was Nezu's spirit animal. That thought alone caused all the adults present to shiver uncontrollably. Back at the school, the principal couldn't explain why but felt the need to send some people flying.
"That monster doesn't scare me," Bakugo challenged, ready to fight it to prove it was a small fry which caused Trepp to almost burst out laughing as a result.
"Now, that's kind of all there is to Zinogre. He's very strong, very fast, a thunder wolf, he's got this symbiotic lightning fun and he is an intense battle, you don't just feel like you're battling speed, you feel like you are battling that strength and that is rare. Really, they are a tough fight, I still, to this day, struggle when I encounter one. There's just something about them. And while I'm not a fan of his colors and some of his general shape, I can't deny the fascination I find in his role in the ecosystem. And interestingly enough, he was the first Fanged Wyvern we'd ever discovered and for a long time the only one, until a little over a half dozen new ones were discovered in the new world." Rage explained.
"Guess even experts can still find it a challenge," Ragdoll winced as it looked like it could smack her team around without trying.
"You have no idea," Trepp said.
"So a fanged wyvern?" Mina asked
"Basically quadrupeds with wingless features and developed hindlegs. Write that down Midoriya," Trepp answered quickly as the green haired student wrote it down.
"Zinogre is also a favorite amongst hunters and I suppose I can understand. But, I completely shift my opinion when it comes to one of Zinogre's other two forms. Introducing the Stygian Zinogre." Rage introduced as a far more fearsome Zinogre in a volcanic region was shown. "Black, red and silver, a dragon energy fueled subspecies that just looks gorgeous. The physical form still very similar, but the lightning now crackling with dark dragon energy is just breathtaking." He explained as a pair of hunters fought the beast, which barely seemed to be acknowledging their hits.
"That monster looks demonic," Tokoyami muttered
"No kidding," Dark shadow grunted.
"Dragon energy means dragon element which means it's higher on the food chain," Mineta theorized while pointing at the screen.
"Well you're not wrong," Momo guessed as Iida's monster showed what the dragon element could do.
"It achieves this in a very similar way to normal Zinogre, but instead of a symbiosis with thunderbugs, it has a symbiosis with Dracophage bugs. They feed on a berry known as the Dragonfell berry, which contains within it, trace amounts of Dragon Energy, the stuff that Deviljho breathes out. The rarest element, normally chiefly in the hands of, well, the Elder Dragons, it's their divine right, meddled in by a certain few non-Elder Dragons. So, through the berry into the insect, from the insect into the Zinogre, it gets charged with this mighty force, turning black and red and becoming faster, stronger than ever before. Larger, too, it's now able to combine its electric onslaught with Dragonblight for even more impact. It's just badass, let's be honest. But the one cost of this is they've lost the expected resistance a normal Zinogre has to thunder, so they're actually susceptible to it. So, you know, you win some, you lose some." Rage explained as the hunters continued to fight the darker Zinogre.
"Incredible, the dragon element can do that?" Iida muttered.
"It seems that element is much more versatile than the other elements could be. With what we see, it can affect the monsters depending on their own biology," Izuku muttered as he wrote all his ideas and theories.
"Think we can use it?" Mei asked curiously as curiously.
"I can't say for certain," Izuku sighed since he had no clear answer, "But we can try something when we get our monsters."
"And this Zinogre lives in harsher regions: freezing tundras, boiling volcanoes, the dragon energy thought to give its body the ability to withstand such extremes of temperature and climate. So, there is one more form of Zinogre: a Deviant. An exceptionally powerful, unique member of the species, that has achieved a level of catastrophic might, that it is an emergency to the Guild. A Zinogre, then, born with abnormally large lightning organs, overactive, they stored and stored and stored electricity, way beyond what should be possible. This turned the Zinogre a golden hue, it permeating and effecting his very flesh. This led him, the Thunderlord Zinogre, to be permanently supercharged. Wherever he goes, he crackles underfoot." Rage introduced the final species of Zinogre as it wandered around, not noticing Aylia as she followed just behind the monster, crouched down. Suddenly, however, a screaming sound could be heard and a large boar monster rushed in from nowhere and slammed into Aylia, sending her flying.
"So Todoroki will be half effective to it," Tokoyami guessed as the duel quirked teen reluctantly nodded.
"Still the change makes it scary," Koda shivered.
"And this means that he can charge up even further in combat to reach a third level, the true awakening. This, then, is DANGEROUS. His lightning turns gold, matching that of Rajang himself, he gains a whole host of new abilities. He can channel lightning through his horn for a deadly piercing uppercut, his horn itself enlarged, a biological changer spurred on through the pulsing, barely containable energy within. The thunderbugs themselves can BARELY contain and control the charge being delivered. The Thunderlord almost takes on the electricity himself without the need for them, creating a feedback loop that almost wipes out his entire swarm. He is lightning incarnate, able to go toe-to-toe with Elder Dragons and reduce them to ash." Rage finished as Aylia was shown facing off against the beast but was stunned with a roar, before being sent flying back, everything fading to darkness.
"That's one uppercut I don't want to experience," Shinso winced as he imagined the pain you'd feel. It wasn't a pretty thought.
"Just witnessing this power is unreal," Aoyoma muttered.
"Still liking it and I'm sure we'll attract one another," Denki said with a grin with the others groaning.
"I'm already regretting this," Aizawa muttered sadly as Allmight and the Pussycats laughed awkwardly.
"So I'm guessing you all liked it?" Trepp asked , scanning the crowd.
"You bet I did. This monster is gonna be my new buddy and sidekick," Deni admitted while imagining his monster and himself fighting villains.
Mineta stood up and snapped his fingers in front of his friend's face but got no reaction. "You think he's okay?" Mienta asked, slightly worried about his friend's wellbeing.
"Just give him a minute," Jiro instructed with a dismissive wave, "But Denki was right. This monster was something to behold. And looks like something on a rock album cover."
"...You're not wrong," Trepp admitted after thinking it over.
"Still can't believe the dunce is getting that," Bakugo grumbled.
"Well now for the next video," Trepp started to say as the screen flickered to life, "That's odd."
"We're starting a new video now?" Tsuyu asked.
"I didn't do anything," Trepp said as the screen showed a familiar training area.
"Hello again Class 1-A," Jasmine cheered with Emily not far behind her and next to a large sheet covering something. "Since Trepp showed you Zinogre, I, being the Humble and helpful person, thought we could present you with something fun."
"A bonus video?" Allmight mumbled as the teachers wondered what was going on.
"What's under that tarp?" Izuku asked while leaning forward.
"Without further to do," Emily announced, she grabbed the sheet and pulled it off. There on a bunch of stands was eight sets of armor and a bunch of weapons for all to see.
"Woah," the class and students whispered as the looked at the sight before them.
The armors were first shown with their exotic designs drawing their attention. The first two sets were from a regular Zinogre and had a samurai or armored ninja look to them being mainly a dull green color and golden fur and spikes on various parts of the body. Both variants for the male and females looked tough with the female one lacking pants. Even the headgear was impressive as it had horns similar to the monster itself. The other two beside them look fairly similar with minor differences as the headgear being a different style and being a bit less spikey.
"Ok that looks tough," Jiro said
"I gotta get that," Denki promised himself.
"We can use this," Izuku mumbled as he sketched the armors for later uses.
"These are the alpha and beta armors you can make out of a Zinorge," Trepp informed
"Liking the one for the girls," Mineta said quietly as to not alert anyone.
The next four sets were darkere armor showing they belonged to the Styrian Zinogre. The two male armors had a heavy armored wolf shogun look with the pauldrons being vastly different and the headgear differing from a full on helmet and a helmet that covered the top of the head. For the female armor it followed a more slender samurai style with wolf ears on top of it and the pauldrons being slightly different.
"Damn the colors would fit in the dark," Sero thought out loud.
"I prefer this to the other one," Tokoyami said, wishing he could try it on.
"Badass," Bakugo grinned as he liked the fierce and intimidating look of them.
The first set of weapons shown were the great swords with both being different in colors of the Zinogre and Styrain Zinogre. Both were large swords with an angular hook look at the top half of the blade. (AN:2)
"Brutal," Bakugo grinned.
"Looks big enough to be a shield," Shoji pointed out.
The next weapon was the long sword which didn't look like a katana at all. Instead the sword was a double edged straight sword.
"I prefer the Styrain one," Tokoyami admitted, since it fit his aesthetic.
"It's not bad and does look cool," Denki said.
"It does look reliable," Shinso commented with a nod.
The following set of weapons was the duel blades. Besides the different colors of the two, the general look was more like the nails of a Zinogre with fur near the handle.
"I could use them," Aizawa guessed as the weapons looked light enough for him to use.
"Does fit our style as well," Mandalay said as the blades looked like claws.
"But it's from a wolf," Pixie pointed out.
"Can I try it?" Kota asked.
"When you're older," all the adults answered, causing the child to pout.
Next group was the shield and swords. The swords of both variants looked like serrated scaled swords while the shield had small spikes on the front with two long horns on the sides.
"Simple design," Momo said, burning the design to her mind to use later.
"Could be interesting to try," ojiro shrugged.
Hammer was next to be shown with it being one of the more extravagant looking ones. From the looks of it anyone could see it looked a bit like a club but was shaped in a similar way to the headgear of the armor.
"Definitely would use it and will do," Kirishima yelled excitedly.
The next weapon was the Hunting horn and that interested some by its looks alone. The moment it was on screen, everyone was surprised and awed as it looked like a guitar. The whole thing was covered in the scales of the monster with one side having some of its fur on it.
"What i'd do to get that," Jirou groaned.
"Talk to me later," Trepp promised while Jirou smiled.
Switch axe rounded off the first half of the list and it was similar to the Hammer by the looks of it. The blade was nothing but scales as the difference between the two forms made the weapon look larger than it was.
"Looks like a horn when it's a sword," Minna said.
"Still would use it if I use my quirk," Sato said as it looked simple enough swing.
With half the weapons shown already, the next one was the Charge blade with the sword being a large dual sided scaled weapon. The shield matches its partner weapon while looking thick and heavy.
"Still that weapon looks like only Allmight could use it," Iida guessed.
The Lance was shown next with the shield propped beside it. The lance itself had horns at the base, near the handle with the rest of it looking like a metal drill. The shield was larger and a more ornate version of the Sword and shield's.
"I'd use that to poke monsters," Toru giggled as the others slightly agreed with her.
"Find me a different looking lance and maybe i'd join you," Uraraka giggled and promised.
Gunlance was following up its metaphorical sibling and was vastly different. It still had a drill shape blade but with more of a point like a horn while the shield was smaller and looked like a horned buckler.
"That'll do a lot of damage," Shoto admitted as it looked sharper to him.
With only a handful left, the Insect glaive was the next one to be shown. While it wasn't as impressive as the previous weapon, it still drew the interest of some since it looked like a scaled naginata.
"Simple yet elegant," Aoyoma approved with a sparkle.
"No bug?" Shinso asked.
"The kinsect is another thing entirely," Trepp answered helpfully.
The Bow was the first of the few ranged weapons to be shown. It looked like a scaled spine made into a folding bow.
"Not bad and I wouldn't mind using that," Mineta said as it could help with the range of his quirk.
Last but not least were the Light and Heavy Bowguns. With all four on screen, the weapons looked as if parts of the monster were slapped onto them.
"Could be useful for support equipment," Mei said as she wrote something down.
"Good thinking," Izuku replied as he made his own notes.
"Well now that's done with, I'll start picking the next video," Trepp promised while looking at his pad and swiping some stuff.
(LINE BREAK~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~LINE BREAK)
AN1: to make this simple, this is just their thought process for now as none of the heavier hitters were shown yet.
AN2: for this I used the great sword from the previous Monster hunter games as World was the first MH game I ever played. if any of you played it then I'm sure you can agree some weapons weren't as impressive
Also sorry if this took awhile, real life stuff happened though I hope you enjoy it.
