For those that don't know much on Anabel's father, Professor Casin; Lets just say he is an interesting fella. But don't let his sly, sarcastic nature fool you. A genius in Pokémon research. But also a very powerful trainer. This would be his day; along with a few tiny surprises.

Professor Casin would wake up very early, as he is going to have an eventful day. He and Professor Ivy are heading to Aether Paradise to present his report on the latest Ultra Beast sightings. Normally any professor of Pokémon would be preparing his speech over and over. But decides that this morning, he will go for a quick swim/training session with his Milotic. As he got out of bed, he could hear Ivy murmur in her sleep. "Professor, come back to bed snuggle buddy." She would fall asleep and soon he would head to Annie's room to check up on her. He smiled seeing his baby sleep, clutching her new Alolan pokeball. "Already eager to train, that's my girl!" He thought to himself, before quietly exiting the house. Once he quietly exits the house, he would see his Pokémon: Venusaur, Snorlax, Hatterene, and Gardevoir meditating. He wanted his Pokémon to be both strong physically and mentally as well. Gardevoir led the session as she noticed Casin in his black and gold swim suit, as she gave a thought mentally. "No goofing off" Casin smirked as he knew Ivy probably got to her. "I'll be alright Gardevoir, just going for a swim and I'll return before Ivy wakes up." Gardevoir nods as she would see him head into the ocean. Once he got in the water, he was lifted by his Milotic; who was always happy for a swim session. "Ready for our daily swim?" Milotic nods as he was racing off to find a nice spot before they can swim. Once Milotic found a nice spot in the ocean; the two would start their swim. Casin smiled as he was enjoying his swim with his friend. One to whom he saved long ago. Though he'll still admit he was lucky to be at the right place, at the right time.
[ Flashback - 2 years ago ]
Outside of the Roaring-Sea Caves in Galar, Casin was just finished with his workout with Snorlax; when the two discovered a bunch of Pidgeottos. When they arrived, they saw a Feebas badly hurt and in need of help. "Snorlax, send them flying!" His Snorlax would knock the Pidgeottos away with one swipe of his arm. Once the Pidgeottos flew away; Casin rushed over to grab the battered Feebas and knew it needed help immediately. "Hang on there Feebas." He would return his Snorlax back to his Pokeball; before rushing to the nearest Pokémon center. Once at the Pokémon center, he saw Nurse Joy and immediately she took the Feebas for intensive care.
An hour later, Nurse Joy returned as Casin got up and rushed up to her. "How is Feebas? Will Feebas be okay?" He was concerned, given the condition he found him. She looked at him and responds. "Feebas will be okay after some rest. (She took him to the room where Feebas was recovering.) This Feebas is lucky that you found it when it was in danger." Casin looked at her confused "What do you mean? You mean this sort of thing has happened before?" She sighed but nods. "Unfortunately, trainers lately want a Milotic; and know that in order to get a Milotic; you have to catch a Feebas and have it evolve. Sadly the trainers don't know that it takes a long time of love and care; before a Feebas can evolve. (She could see his anger and was justified.) The last two times prior to your arrival; the Feebas that were recovered by travelers...didn't survive." Casin's blood was boiling as he couldn't believe some trainers would discard Pokémon like that. "Those fools! If I ever see those trainers that allow those Pokémon like that to die..."
Just as Nurse Joy was going to calm him down; Feebas swam up to the top of the healing tank; and saw the nurse and professor. Feebas glared at the professor and wanted to launch an attack. But Casin would stop him in his tracks. "Hold on Feebas. I know you're angry and rightfully so. I know you want revenge, but you need to heal first. (He saw in his eyes that determination.) Trust me, if you want to be strong, let me be your trainer. You have to trust me if you want to be stronger." Nurse Joy was at awe by his passionate speech. Feebas looked into Casin's eyes and soon went back in the water to rest.
The next morning, Casin woke up and saw Feebas swimming in his tank. His eyes looked at the trainer as he hoped he wouldn't abandon him. "Well Feebas, you seem to be still fighting. But I like your moxie. (He saw Feebas eyes and knew what he wanted.) Let's show what true training can do. Prove to them that you can be at your true potential!" Feebas smiled as he saw a Pokeball. Soon he leaped out and kissed his face; while getting Casin all wet. "Ack! (He laughed, before gently pressing the pokeball to Feebas. Once the Pokeball clicked, He would smile and toss the Pokeball.) Feebas my friend, come on out!" His Feebas would be in the tank, as he would swim about. But winced as it apparently needs more time to rest.
Nurse Joy smiled as she peeked at the two. "Sorry, this Feebas is full of energy. But after one more day, he should be able to do some training." Casin nods as he looked at his Feebas. "Be nice to Nurse Joy for one more day." Feebas nods, as it would rest in the tank. He knows that now he has a trainer that will train with him. The following day, over at a lake, Casin would call out Feebas; as the Pokémon was full of energy. It was raring to go and couldn't be happier. Casin smirked as he saw a diamond in the rough in this Pokémon. "Alright my friend, we'll swim around the lake just to build up stamina. Don't go too crazy, you just recovered." Just as he said that, Feebas was swimming with gusto. Apparently looking to see if his new trainer can keep up. Casin smirked as he knew he found the right one. "Alright Feebas, you got yourself a challenge." As he kept up with Feebas, he realized his full potential and knew he would have to calm him at times. But can't help but love it's energy. Those were those times, and yes there were some set backs (Flashes of him and Feebas challenging Pokémon); But all was worth it.
[ Flashback - 1 Year ago ]
At the Orange Islands, Feebas was challenging a Gyarados and the battle was neck and neck. "Feebas use Hyper Beam!" Feebas launched a massive hyper beam that stunned and eventually took out Gyarados. Feebas breathed heavily but flopped about after a hard fought victory. "Way go go Feebas!" As Casin smiled, he noticed a bright light and his eyes widened as he realized his Feebas was evolving. And soon his Feebas evolved into a Milotic. "Milotic...is that you?" Even he was in disbelief, but the hard work had paid off. His friend became a Milotic, and after making a loud roar, it went over to hug his friend. "Alright, Alright." Casin smiled, in tears seeing the Feebas that was nearly eaten two years ago; now its evolved into a mighty Milotic. "Lets continue our journey together." Milotic nods as it would head to the ocean, challenging him for a swim. "Hey now, wait for me my friend!"

After reminiscing the moments with Feebas/Milotic, he would swim with his buddy as he kept up with his pace. Though many say Milotic prefer lakes, not this one, as it enjoyed the ocean and the waves. While the two were having their swim; they noticed a ship not too far, and decide to swim up towards it. The ship they were swimming towards; just happens to be a fishing ship and there was a blue haired girl; she was wearing a yellow string headband that resembles a fishing net. She had on a short blue cape behind her back, a sleeveless white sailor shirt on top of a dark blue swimsuit with a blue fish decal in the middle of the chest, and long blue pants with a yellow string near the waist (from which hangs a badge shaped like her Trial Captain symbol) and blue Hawaiian wave patterns on the bottoms. On her feet, she is wearing darkly-colored rubber sandals that are too big for her. (Pokefandom). As he saw her he noticed a Pokémon near her. He would check out his waterproof Pokédex and it would chime in. Primarina, a Water/Fairy Pokémon. Also known as a songstress, it has a fantastical look on moonlit nights when it leads its colony in song. (Pokédex). He noticed how Primarina is a marine Pokémon that resembles a cross between a sea lion and a mermaid. Most of its body is white, but it has a long, blue, fish-like tail. It has a long snout with a round, pink nose, bright blue eyes with long white eyelashes, and long light blue hair trailing off the back of its head. A tiara-like structure rests on its forehead, consisting of a line of pearls with a pink sea star at one corner and a thin, transparent blue fin extending back over its hair. Its hair is contained to a ponytail by two strings of pearls. (Bulbapedia).
Lana gasped as she saw a Milotic and thought it was a rare wild Pokémon, that enjoys the ocean. "I have to catch it! Primarina ready?" Her Primarina nods as it would get ready for an attack. "Use water gun!" Lana make the move and her Primarina would launch a water gun at Milotic. But the speedy sea serpent dodged as it looked like it was having hun. Lana saw that speedy Milotic and knew it was a prime choice. "Keep at it with water gun Primarina." Primarina kept up with the water gun attacks. But Milotic stopped as it looked to set up for a hyper beam attack. Lana gasped as she was getting ready for a z-move; but stopped as she saw a human. "Primarina hold up!" Casin saw his Milotic and had to cool his attack. "Whoa Milotic, hold your attack!" Milotic calmed down and just in time. That hyper beam would have done a lot of damage. The two would swim up to the ship, as Casin would get onto the ship. "Sorry for the festivities. Never expected to see a sailor and her Pokémon out this early in the morning." Lana smiled as she couldn't believe that she's close to seeing a Milotic. "Sir, is your Milotic friendly?" He smiled as he would rub his head gently. "A feisty Pokémon, but otherwise a nice guy." Milotic smiled as it would extend its tail out for her to touch. Lana was in heaven as she would gently touch Milotic's tail. And she examined the tail and knew that this Pokémon is top of the line. "I must say, your Milotic is special. A Pokémon that loves the ocean is a rarity." He smiled, but forgot to introduce himself in all of the craziness. "My apologies, I'm Professor Casin, Interdimensional guru, and future Alolan League champion!" Lana smiled but had to chime in "I'm Lana, and I'll be the next Alolan League Champion! Me and Primarina will be ready for sure!" Primarina nods as she was still amped up from that earlier encounter.
Just as Casin was having a good conversation; his waterproof cell phone would ring. "Speaking of the devil. (He chuckled as he would answer and saw a familiar face.) Hello sweetie, up early?" Professor Ivy huffed as she was with his Gardevoir. "Professor! Where are you? It's getting late for breakfast. And we have to get ready for our meeting at Aether Paradise." He knew he won't get much cuddles later; but had to calm the waters. "Sorry love, was out for a morning swim; until I ran into a ship." She sighed as she couldn't help blush at him in a swimsuit. "Gardevoir, please use teleport to bring him here please." Gardevoir nods as she waited for the professor to get ready. He smiled as he returns Milotic to his pokeball. "Alright you two, catch you later." With that, he was teleported from the ship. Lana looked around and realized she has a potential rival. "Professor Casin, he's the one I have to prepare for in the Alolan League."

After getting a stern talking from Ivy; they would wait for their ride from Aether Paradise. Ivy was curious about his morning swim. "Casin, who did you run into? You usually finish your workout early." He smiled as he would look into her eyes. He knew she wasn't mad, only concerned about his workouts. "Only a young trainer and her Pokémon Primarina. (He chuckled for a brief moment.) Her Pokémon gave my Milotic a real workout." She nods, as she knew him for having a joyful, sarcastic nature. But when it came to Pokémon battles; he's a completely different person. Almost as if he was a superhero. She would rub his cheek as she asked. "When you have your Pokémon battles; do you feel different? As if we're to say, do you feel like you're a different person?" Ivy hasn't had much battles as a researcher; so maybe she's asking about battling. He looked at her and smiled; while giving her his answer. "Naturally of course, your main goal of course is winning. But one also must think about the well-being of not only your Pokémon; but also for the well-being of your opponents as well.
She nods as she was about to hug him; when she saw a large helicopter in their area. She waved at it, as she assumed it was their ride. There was an elderly man in his reddish-purple suit, piloting the helicopter, as he would make the landing right by their position. "Alola professors! Tis a pleasure to see the two of you here. Please, time is of the essence as your meeting awaits." Ivy blinked at the suit, but was carried by Casin. She huffed as she was just surprised by his actions. "At least give me a warning next time!" Casin smiled and chuckled. "You can look at his suit inside the copter. Besides, you heard him: time is of the essence." Ivy hated Casin for being right. And couldn't scold him for something she told him earlier about being on time.

Meanwhile Ash and Gary were moments away from arriving at the Alolan airport on Melemele Island. Gary looked at Ash, as he had to ask. "Say Ash, (Ash looked at him and nods.) "Doesn't it feel weird that everyone is competing to face you?" Ash never thought of it and nods. "Yea, it's like I'm the gym leader now. (He chuckled as it will be a completely different scenario for Ash. Usually he's the hunter out there. But now he's being the one pursued.) But no matter who wins, I'll give it my all out there."
Gary nods, but had to ask him another question. "Say Ashy boy I'm curious, and not to pry of course; but for all the years I've met you, this is the first time I've seen and heard you mention the word dad without cringing. Is it because of Kukui?" Ash looked at Gary and knew it had been a touchy subject for years. He had thought he died a long time ago; but now knows the truth of the matter. "Well, to be honest, I felt comfortable with him. It's weird saying that, but I've connected with him as if he were my dad. I just didn't know that at that time they truly want me to be a part of their family. (He was almost in tears as he would continue.) I'm sorry, but it had been an lingering topic of whether I would consider Burnet and Kukui to be legal guardians. I guess in Galar, gave me time to think. Plus seeing my girlfriend's family situation; I guess it was meant to be. Sorry if I'm going all over the place."
Gary patted his shoulder and nods. "You're an lucky son of a gun. I'm glad things worked out. Besides, I want to meet your dad about something; and I want his advice on it all." Ash smiled, but asked "What is that thing Gary?" Gary blinked as he tried to play it off. "Oh nothing much. But would like to know why he's a pro wrestler." Ash chuckled, as he looked out the window and saw the airport. "We are in Alola!" Gary saw the airport, and knew his start for the league has begun.

When Ash and Gary got off the plane, they would hear a familiar voice. "Alola!" Ash smiled as he would see his dad in his white lab coat, gray baggy pants with a green stripe and white drawstrings and some green shoes with a white outline (Pokefandom). He ran up to hug him, but noticed a young lady in a light blue dress with a green skirt with white sunflower floral patterns. She also has long red hair, green eyes, and wearing the biggest smile out there. "Alola champion! I'm Alana Soritini from Alola Morning Live! It's an honor to meet you. And I do apologize for not having this interview earlier. Given the arrival of the ultra beasts and such..." Ash smiled and shook her hand gently. "It's not a problem. Though I had to admit, I wished I stayed a bit longer; But I had to head out on my next journey." She nods and saw the young man next to Ash and smiled. "And you must be Gary Oak, researcher and trainer? And grandson of Professor Oak" Gary blinked as he couldn't believe how sharp she was. "I am. Nice to meet you Alana. (He shook her hand, but had to ask.) So where are we heading to?"
Alana would answer "For starters, we're heading to the studio to give Ash a tour of what the set looks like. (She giggled at the next part) At least he won't be nervous with a studio audience when they do the interview tomorrow morning." Ash smiled as his Pikachu was posing on his shoulder. "Do you know who else will be there?" She smiled as she would gently rub Pikachu's cheeks and got a bit of a static shock. "Well, outside of a shocking good time; the guests are kept secret. Normally I would tell, but in this case Ash, I cannot reveal." Ash nods as he could only suspect either someone he knows; or more challengers. Kukui looked at his watch and it was getting late. "Alana, shall I follow you to the studio?" She smiled as she would show them her red Corvette. "I'll take Ash and Pikachu, you and Gary can follow along." Everyone nods, as they would drive off.
As Ash and Alana would be chatting away; Gary looked at Kukui and had to ask. "Kukui, how do you do it?" Kukui blinked, as he was confused by the question. "What do you mean Gary?" Gary had to spit it out. "I mean, how do you tackle all of your jobs: dad, masked Royal, teacher, professor." Kukui nods as he couldn't help but chuckle. "It's all about balance Gary. You don't have to put all your eggs in one basket. Always remember to make time for yourself. I take it being a researcher is fun; but after seeing Ash, you want to see how you measure up to him. Gary laughed as he couldn't believe Kukui was right on the button. "Alright, not that I'm jealous of Ash being successful; but I want to knock him off his high horse; and show him who is the best trainer in Pallet Town!" Kukui laughed as he knew from the holiday party; there would be some tough trainers. But now with Gary in the mix, its going to be crazy.
In the Corvette, Alana would be driving down the road. But once she made a stop at a red light; she would ask him something. "Ash, how does it feel to return to Alola? I take it from the locals, it feels like you're returning home." He smiled as he would answer. "I'll be honest it does feel like my second home. (He chuckled for a moment) Seems like I've traveled to Alola more times than any other region I've visited. Plus my parents and my little brother are there as well." She heard parents and had to ask. "Wait, you're saying that Kukui and Burnet are? (Ash nods as that was something he could say without delay. Alana knew her guests well from her research. But this was new information she didn't pick up.) Okay, your mom is from Kanto, right?" Ash nods and would chime in. "The short version of it is that Kukui and Burnet are my legal guardians. They wanted me to be a part of their family, and I said yes."
Alana smiled as she would see the green light, and floors it. All she could do is smile as she couldn't be distracted from his smiling face. She thought to herself as she was heading to the studio. "So you really are quite something there. A legend in the making." Clearly she was thinking of something else; but had to keep a clear head for tomorrow's interview.

Meanwhile, the helicopter would finally land at Aether Paradise. There was Wicke, Faba, and Lusamine and Mohn together. Ivy would carefully get off before hugging her friend. "Lusamine! Long time no see. (She would hug her, before seeing Mohn. She couldn't help but cry tears of joy, as the last time she saw him, she saw him unconscious.) Mohn, thank heavens you're alive." Mohn nods and hugs her. Words cannot express how thankful I am for you bringing me and my family together." He teared up as well, as that day was still fresh in his mind. Even though he couldn't recall what happened. Casin would see Wicke and Faba as he would hug them both gently. "Congrats on the bundle of joy to come." Wicke smiled as she hugged back. She was rubbing her belly as she was just glowing in excitement. "Thank you. Looks like I have my own little nursery. Just have to wait for months, before the little one can graduate." Faba chuckled and asked him a question. "How do you handle weird food runs?" Casin laughed as he could relate. "Just go with it. I recall a pizza with toasted marshmallows with anchovies; was one thing I'll never forget...or throw up." Both Wicke and Faba laughed, but soon followed Lusamine inside.
Once inside, Casin and Ivy would set up the presentation. Just as they were about to start, he would hear familiar saying. "Hello professors!" He turned around and saw a group of kids, decked out like they were ready to take on a huge monster; or perform a dance number. He smirked as he recognized the blue haired girl. "Ah hello there kids, a bit early for Halloween? (Ivy huffed and jabbed his ribs gently.) Sorry, but you all look like space rangers." He chuckled as Lana saw him once again and was a bit nervous. Mallow saw that look from her friend, and had to ask. "What's wrong Lana? Professor Casin sounds like a nice guy." Sophocles shook his head as he like Lana was nervous. "I'm with Lana, Professor Casin is no ordinary professor and trainer." Kiawe was baffled by this statement. "How so? I don't see him as a tough trainer." Sophocles shook his head no and explained to him. "Well for starters, his family is arguable the toughest in the world. (Kiawe and the others heard that and gulped.) For starters, he has two kids: Anabel of the battle frontier; Lucian, an elite four member; his ex-sister in law is Olympia the Anistar gym leader. (Kiawe heard and had to look back at Casin and couldn't believe it.) And finally the queen of the family, his ex-wife Argenta, who is in the battle frontier of Hoenn and Johto."
Kiawe and the others realized that Professor Casin is someone to fear. But put their minds at ease as he was about to present his presentation. Casin would turn on the power point and would start his presentation. The lights dim, as they would show a video of the recent ultra beast sighting in the Orange Islands. "As recently there are more sightings of ultra beasts outside of Alola. Now the recent incident at Orange Islands would indicate that the ultra beasts are exploring more and more beyond Alola. However, the question remains is why are they exploring outside of Alola?" Ivy would chime in "The one theory, is that the ultra beasts are discovering these new spots by accident. Much like our explorers back in the day. Though as you can see from the video (which showed an ultra wormhole opening.); it's still a concern for all involved."
Lusamine was concerned, but had to ask about the situation. "Should the other regions be aware of the potential wormholes?" Casin nods, but had to answer. "Yes, but I would say that we would want their cooperation in monitoring any weird disturbances. I don't want to freak out anyone; without some proof out of the ordinary." Lusamine nods, but there was an alarm. "You're kidding me, at this time!" The lights turn on as the monitor would change over; and they would see an ultra wormhole near Aether Paradise. Mohn would see what is coming out and it was a large black sphere; and he knew what it was. "No way! It's back!" He would rush out as the others would follow suit.
Once everyone would head out and be by the shoreline, they would see a large black sphere. But once the sphere moved, it would reveal it's spider like legs and would reveal itself to be a big spider. While just about everyone was in shock; Mohn smiled as he would wave to it. "Welcome back my friend!" It looked at Mohn and smiled. But when it saw him with others, it was in a battle position. Ready to strike at any moment. Sophocles looked at that ultra beast and checked on the Pokédex.
Terrarach, a Rock/Poison Pokémon. Unlike a spider, this creature would capture its prey and encase them in a dark webbing. When it wants to eat, it would sink its fangs inside the webbing; injecting a powerful toxin that would melt the prey inside; living only the liquid inside. It sucks up the liquid as its nourishment. "Oh man, that's a scary looking creature." Mohn saw that position and had to keep it calm. "Terrarach, calm down! They are my friends, not my enemies!" The ultra beast was not having it, but saw Casin walking forward towards it with no fear. Ivy saw that and nearly freaked out. "Casin, are you nuts! That ultra beast will strike without mercy!" He smiled as he approached the ultra beast. "Terrarach, don't be afraid. We're not out to harm you. (Terrarach didn't believe him and launch web attacks at him. But was surprised to see him dodge each one.) Trust me, I get it, you're surprised to see your friend with other people. But they pose no harm to anyone. (And when he was near the ultra beast, he smiled and touched it's belly.) I could tell you are quite hungry too."
Everyone was surprised to see him calm, cool, and collected. But what amazed them all is that the ultra beast nods. Mohn couldn't believe this professor's bravado, but knew what he was saying. "Alright, let's look around for some food quickly." Everyone would split up and quickly gathered some berries and put them in a pile. Mohn waved for his friend, showing the big pile of berries. Terrarach would look at the pile and would spin it's webbing around it. Until it becomes a big ball. Everyone gasped as this is the first time seeing this ultra beast eat. Once Terrarach would grab the ball, it injects it's fangs and inject it's venom inside. They gasped at the site of how it eats. But was surprised when it saw it drink the berry juice. Once full of juice, Terrarach looked at Casin and gives it a big hug.
Casin smiled as it was hugged. "Okay (he chuckled) I'm glad you are feeling well." Terrarach smiled as it would finally lets him go. It soon looked at Mohn as it would give him a hug. Mohn smiled as it was clear his friend was happy to see him. And now with a full belly, can be quite content. Lusamine went over and handed Mohn an unique item: a beast ball. "Well honey, you know what to do." Mohn nods as he would look at Terrarach and smiled. "Say buddy, do you want you and me to have fun together?" Terrarach nods as Mohn would press the ball on it; and soon the ultra beast would be in it's ball. Soon after a couple of seconds; it clicked and it was done. He would toss the beast ball in the air. "Terrarach come on out!" His friend would come out and soon hugs him.

Everyone smiled as they would see a great reunion. Lana would walk towards Casin as she wanted one thing. "Professor Casin?" He nods, as he knew what she wanted. "Alright everyone, please clear some space. We're going to have a 1 on 1 battle." Sophocles heard that and rush over to Lana. "Lana are you nuts? Professor Casin probably has a full team of super strong Pokémon." Lana shook her head no and stood her ground. "I can't back down now! Besides with the Alolan league coming up, I'll need to have matches like these." He sighed but nods as he is still worried. "Give em all you got Lana!" She smiled as her friends would cheer her on. Casin looked on as he thought to himself. "Sorry kids, but this will be an example of what will happen at the Alolan league." He stated cool under pressure as he didn't want to show his excitement. Kiawe would act as the referee for this match. "Okay, this Pokémon battle will be a 1 on 1 battle; no time limit."
Lana smiled as she would toss her Pokeball. "Primarina, I choose you!" Her Pokémon appeared, and she was singing already. Casin grinned, as he tosses his Pokeball. "My friend Milotic, take the stage!" His Milotic appeared and Lana looked on at his Pokémon, and had to admit, quite intimidating up close. She thought to herself before the match starts. "Just relax Lana, remember why you're doing this. (Once the battle starts, Lana didn't shook off her nerves and launched her attack.) Primarina, use bubble beam!" Her Pokémon launched a heavy stream of bubbles at Milotic. Casin saw the attack and had other ideas. "Milotic, use water gun!" His Milotic launched a water gun attack that cut through the bubble beam; and knocked Primarina onto the ground hard.
Everyone gasped at Milotic's power and apparent speed. Lana checked on Primarina and sees that she's alright. "You okay Primarina? (Her Pokémon nods as she shook off that first attack. "Want to test our power, you got it!" Milotic looked at him and nods, as he didn't need a command. Milotic launched a hydro pump of its own to counter Primarina's. The two hydro pump attacks are pushing each others attack like a tug of war. Lana thought to herself, seeing the struggle. "Come on Primarina, a little bit more." Primarina was holding steady, but Casin smirked and had enough of the games. "Milotic, send it flying!" Milotic's hydro pump got stronger, and soon would send Primarina into the water.
"Primarina!" Lana was worried about her friend, but breathed a sigh of relief as she quickly got back to shore. Casin couldn't believe her Pokémon has the moxie to continue. "I'm impressed your Pokémon has the courage and moxie. But I'm afraid this where it ends." Lana ignored that statement, as she pulled out a Primarina-z crystal, as she would perform the z-move. He would look on, but kept focused on the task at hand. Lana would shout her z-move. "Primarina, use Oceanic Operetta!" As Primarina would summon a large orb of water; Casin noticed the timing and strikes. "Milotic, Hyper Beam!" That attack caught Lana and Primarina off guard for a brief moment. Then the attack hits Primarina; just as the orb was completed. She was sent flying and the orb would hit the shore; sending a bunch of water all over. Everyone held on as the Oceanic Operetta was a strong attack. Even Mohn had to return his Pokémon in it's beast ball to avoid getting wet.
"Primarina!" Lana screamed as she couldn't see at first where her friend was. But she would see her washed up on the shore, unconscious. Kiawe would see Primarina and confirm the match. "Primarina is unable to battle, the winner is Casin and Milotic." Milotic roared as it was happy for the win. Casin would hug his friend, before heading over to Lana and Primarina. "Your Pokémon has a lot of moxie. I thank you for a great match." He offers his hand and Lana would take it and shakes it. "Thank you sir. We'll be ready next time if we meet up again." He nods, but as he leaves, he gave one warning to the others. "I hold no quarry against anyone. But I want Ash Ketchum in the exhibition. I will hold nothing back to get to that mountain top! (He said so with a smile on his face; before waving to Professor Ivy.) Miss Ivy, time to head out." Ivy nods as she would leave with him and Milotic.
Everyone was in disbelief as this calm cool professor; looked liked a seasoned professional out there. And given what he said, he was playing for keeps. Lana looked at her friends and nods. "Let's train as hard as we can. At least one of us has to beat him!" They nod, as that was going to be a tall order; considering what other Pokémon Casin might have.

At the marketplace, Ivy was looking at Casin, and she like the others; was in complete disbelief of how he battled. She knew he was good. But this was more than just luck. "Casin, seriously have you competed in leagues? Because you were amazing out there." He smiled as he was walking with her. "Well me and Argenta had lots of battles over the years. But leagues, only twice. (He chuckled at that response.) Argenta bested me twice in Johto; but I always gave it my all; even if the odds were against me." She nods, but had to wonder about him heading to the league. "What if you and Anabel end up facing each other; what will you do?" He knew that might be a possibility. But smiled as he would answer. "If that were the case, I would hold nothing back. Believe me, my Annie would know if I were holding back. Plus I want her to face a challenge."
Ivy nods as she heard a woman call for him. "Who's that calling for you?" He smiled as he would see Anela with a basket of berries. "That's Anela, I called yesterday for an order of berries for my Milotic." Ivy was impressed by his devotion for his Pokémon; But this is scary good. They came up to her as he would pay for the berries. Anela smiled as she saw the pair. "Well Casin, how was the report?" He smiled as he was holding onto the basket. "Quite well. Plus my Milotic had a real test out there. My buddy won with flying colors!" Anela smiled as she couldn't help but chuckle. "By the way, your daughter is quite the dancer." That caught him by surprise, hearing his baby can dance. "In public? Really?" Ivy giggled, seeing her love like this. Anela smiled as she told him. "Oh she was giving the crowd a show with Oricorio." He smiled as he wanted to see her dancing. He chuckled as he replied. "I guess she's practicing for the holiday party this year." Anela smiled as she was curious about something. "Are you excited about the celestial jubilee?" He smiled and nods "Of course. But I would have to make a brief pitstop at Akala Island; to get what I need for it." She nods, as she would see them off. Ivy was curious about Akala Island and why would he go there. "Sweetie, why head to Akala Island?" He smiled as he would nuzzle her gently. "Just for some flowers for the jubilee." She nods as they would enjoy the rest of the morning.

At Akala Island, Casin was with Olivia, as she would show him some flowers. She was curious about why he needed flowers. "Is that for your lover; Or for me?" She giggled, but he would calm her down as he spotted what he needed. "It's for the jubilee. And they are for an important person I want to see." She nodded as it was best not to pry. But had to ask another question. "How is your daughter handling Alola so far?" He smiled as he got the amount of flowers he needed. "Right now, adapting quite well. I just hope she adapts before she gets distracted." Olivia giggled as she pats his back gently. "Don't worry, she won't be. I'm sure she'll handle no matter the situation." Seems she knows about her and Ash. He nods, but knew it was a matter of time. "Sorry, just been a whirlwind of insanity as of late. I just want to make sure that she'll guide my Annie in the right direction." Olivia nods as she would see the flowers. "As long as your heart is pure; she'll be understanding." He nods as he would head back towards the port.

Back in Melemele Island, Anabel was walking through the forest; looking for some goodies for her Bruxish. She thought to herself as she was in the forest. "It's so peaceful out here; why do I have a feeling something is wrong." Just as she finished her thoughts; she heard a weird cry. "What the heck is that?" She would see a Pokémon that looked like a panda bear. It has a pink head with white ears and a curved line. It has a black furred body with pink paws and white claws on its feet. It also has a pink and black ring tail. It has a white muzzle and a black has a short tail with dark pink rings. (pokewiki)
She saw it smile and thought it was a friendly type. But pulled out her Pokédex and scans it. Bewear, the strong arm Pokémon; An normal fighting type. This Pokémon has the habit of hugging its companions. Many Trainers have left this world after their spines were squashed by its hug. (Pokédex) She gasped and couldn't believe what her Pokédex said. "And I thought Snorlax was an heavy hitter." She wanted to sense it's feelings; but she saw Bewear swing it's arms, and decided to run like hell. Bewear saw her and gave chase. As she was ahead of the large bear, she thought to herself. "I have to admit, this Pokémon is a tough cookie. But it would be nice to have it on my team." She decided to lure it away from the forest; so she could face it out in the open at the beach. "Okay Alola, looks like I'm getting my first real challenge. (She chuckled at herself) Dad did tell me that training will be a real workout. I guess this is my cardio day." She thought to herself hoping she could continue her running against it.

At Poni Island, Casin would make his final stop for the day; as he would pick up some Poni radishes for his Snorlax. He saw Hapu and waved to the young kahuna. Besides radishes, he wanted to know more about the upcoming jubilee. "Hapu, the radishes look lovely. I feel guilty taking them from you." Hapu was wearing a short-sleeved khaki shirt, matching khaki pants that are very baggy and have purple designs on the knees, and black rubber boots. She and her Mudsdale would bring the radishes via a wagon. She looked at him and shook his hand. "You know its not a problem there professor. (She giggled) At least I know that your Pokémon will enjoy them." He smiled as he would give her a nice payment for the radishes. But had to ask about something. "How are preparations for the jubilee? And where to make tribute?" She smiled as she would point to the ships. "To make a tribute, pick one of the four islands. We will have ships to take the tributes from the neighboring islands; and they would end up here for the ritual. So there is still time if in case you are still deciding on who you want to see once again." He smiled as he calls out his Venusaur to use vine whip; to gather all the radishes and they would be on the boat. "Well Hapu, I know by tomorrow will be an interesting day for all of Alola." He nods and soon the ship would set sail. Hapu looked on as she thought to herself. "Is it him that you want to see again? But why? I thought you had your answers with him last time. (But then she thought to herself) Maybe it's someone that is of importance." She smiled as this jubilee will be a big one.

Anabel arrived at the house and she was a bit worn out from training. Her dad noticed her, and rushed over to her. "Alola Annie! Are you alright sweetie? You looked like you had a fight with a Wigglytuff." She giggled, as she did look dirty from her long day. "Sorry dad, I caught a rough Pokémon. (She chuckled) To say I had to earn this Pokémon is an understatement." He would pinch her cheeks gently. "Well Annie, I'm glad you're improving. But you need to wash up for supper." Annie could hear her stomach grumble as she got the message; and headed to the bathroom to wash up.

Anabel in just a plain lilac shirt and floral shorts would head to the dining area. She gasped at the large pancakes at the table. "Wow! We're having Alolan pancakes?" Casin smiled as he was there with Ivy. "Come on Annie, no daughter will train on an empty stomach." She went to the table, as the three would say grace; before eating the fluffy pancakes. This was not her first encounter with these pancakes; as he noticed how skilled she was. "Well well, someone had a pancake here and there." He knew she either had a pancake in day one. Or from another party. She took a sip of juice before answering a very curious father. "Well they had Alolan pancakes when I was invited at Professor Oaks." He smirked as that grin of his couldn't get wider. "Did Ash feed you, or did you feed him?" Anabel blushed as Ivy couldn't help giggle. "Dad! I swear, you couldn't have known about this! Did mom tell you what happened!" It's true Casin is no psychic; But has a funny way of knowing situations without fail. "It's okay sweetie. I used to be fed by your mother at times. Besides, I would say it's cute to be fed by your lover." He knew Annie would kill him later for this. But Ivy would chime in. "Don't worry about him. He's just jealous I don't feed him all the time." Ivy smirked as he pouted playfully. "It's not my fault, I don't beg to be fed like a Pidgey." Anabel giggled as she couldn't believe this craziness at the dinner table.

Casin was in the living room watching the news, as he would hear a report on the tri-lunar alignment that happens every 75 years. A rare phenomena to have Neptune's moon, Venus moon, and Earth's moon to align. Creating a rare three moon site. More importantly, this phenomena causes water Pokémon to have an increased amount of power. In particular in Alola, the phenomena causes Tapu Fini to have her powers heightened; to just about a divine goddess. This excess amount of power is spread all over the islands. And for the next three days, all the people of Alola; young and old, would be able to see their loved ones that died one more time. They call it the 'Celestial Jubilee'.
Anabel is intrigued by the report and had to ask her dad. "Is this true about the Celestial Jubilee? And who is Tapu Fini?" Casin smiled as he would explain. "Well sweetie for starters, this phenomena is true. Some call it in the old country Poseidon's wrath. As the waters will become more unstable due to the three moons. (Anabel nods as she would let him continue.) Now Tapu Fini is one of the four island deities; and quite an unique Pokémon to say the least. (Anabel would type the name on her Pokédex and got the info: Tapu Fini, a water and fairy type. This guardian deity of Poni Island manipulates water. Because it lives deep within a thick fog, it came to be both feared and revered. Although it's called a guardian deity, terrible calamities sometimes befall those who recklessly approach Tapu Fini. {pokewiki} She gasped as he would continue.) Yes her power is more of divinity. But around here they treat this jubilee with great honor and respect. To see their loved ones one more time is a chance to mend fences, catch up on what happened. Or In most cases, to see a particular legend return." Anabel eeped as she realized what he meant. "Uh you don't know who the legend is...Right dad?" He smirked and pinched her cheeks gently. "Nice try little Annie. He's not your lover from the future. (He chuckled at her redden face.) But it would be nice if you get the chance; to get valuable information from him. Who better to know about Alola from an guardian himself." She nods, but that would be almost impossible; Considering Vlatin is considered to be an inspiration and legend. And no doubt many would flock to try and get that rare 1 on 1 chat.

Casin smirked, seeing his baby's face turn bright red; hearing the announcement of her lover arriving in Alola. He thought to himself as he knew this was bad timing. "Great, I thought he would arrive in Alola much later. Guess the announcement of the exhibition match was too much for them not to ask him. My Annie will have to be more focused now." Ivy noticed the two, especially Anabel as she couldn't help giggle. "Looks like we'll need a security system to see when she gets back home...if she does sneak out." Anabel heard that and was pouting mad. "Miss Ivy! I'm not going to sneak off after Ash. Besides, his parents would rat me out to you two in a heartbeat." Both Casin and Ivy nods as that would be the case. But he would get up, and pats her shoulder. "Don't worry, I'll wake you up so we can watch the news together. (He smirked as he couldn't contain his laughter.) Maybe he'll propose on live TV." He saw Anabel huff as she stormed off to her room. Ivy would shake her head and look at her lover. "Come on, no more teasing. She already has a lot on her plate." He sighed but nods, as he would kiss her on her cheek. "Alright. But you know the moment that they find out that they are a couple..." Ivy nods, but snuggles him playfully. "True, but around here Ash is the rock star and Annie, I meant Anabel would be seen as the squeeze." He smirked as he would kiss her lips gently; before whispering in her ear. "Calling my Anabel Annie, only a 'mom' can do that." Ivy pouted playfully, as she would see him walk out. "Maybe I would if a certain cuddle buddy be extra nice."

Anabel was in her room, getting ready for bed when she got a text from Ash. She was surprised that he would contact her; given the training situation and media coverage. She saw the text and it was a picture of the two of them; with a message: {Hope you're doing fine in Alola. I know you'll do great out there. XOXO Ash.} Once she saw that message, she would send a kiss mark emoji and that would be it. As she lay on the bed, she giggled as she thought to herself. "Ivy was right, I would try to sneak out to see him."

Ivy was in her blue swimsuit, getting ready for her water research; when she blushed, seeing Casin shirtless, but wearing tan shorts. He looks to be meditating with his Gardevoir. She wondered why, he has been doing that ever since he arrived in Alola. She tried to sneak from behind; but was stopped in her tracks by him. "Trying to catch me love; I'll let you. I was just trying to clear my thoughts." She would wrap her arms around him as she was curious. "Is it about Anabel?" He shook his head no and replies. "No, but just getting ready for some guests to arrive." She nods but had to ask. "Who love?" He sighed but answered. "An expert. One that will guide the stars to the truth." He was sly in his response; but had to keep some parts hidden. Ivy would kiss his cheek gently before slipping away. "Well, I hope you're a good boy when that happens." She knew that always makes him pout; as he would get up and chase after her. "I am a good boy Ivy!"
