Hey, so I'm back with a new chapter! Been busy with Hogwarts Legacy and a bunch of other stuff, but I made it!

Also, I'm planning on doing a Danmachi/Fate fic. It basically involves Bell 'inheriting' the Throne of Heroes through a skill from his grandfather that links the Throne to him through his desire to become a hero.

Thoughts?

KaneGehabite, Ryu wolf, Toa Solaric, glad you liked it.

Luckenhaft, well you'll see that pretty soon.

keybladelight, well Mordred in that chapter was wearing a swimsuit, similar I suppose.

Exodus12345, glad you feel that way. That's something I wanted to show, that is, the bondings.

TheEmeraldMage, Midoriryu, glad the previous chapter turned out to be simple and safe as you both mentioned. Hopefully the next ones would be better.

Kolomte'49, the point I was trying to make is to make Mordred seem like a child in the face of her father (Lancer Artoria). It's meant to be that way, or at least, as I was writing it. Especially when Mordred finally gets to talk to Artoria in a serious familial manner when she did not get that for years.

In caverns dark, the references to FGO is something I'm rather torn about. The Servants here are not exactly the same as the ones in FGO, the closest being the summer Servants and Servant Universe ones. So it'll be something to look into.

codywhite162, do look forward to that I suppose.

Nameless, glad you liked the previous chapter. And yes, I probably should've added in Rin and Sakura's conversations. Gray reacting to the Artorias is something I am still thinking on. Here, she's post-Rail Zeppelin, so I'll have to think how she would react to seeing them, especially Lancer Artoria.

ShuKirisaki, yes I've been quite busy as of lately, and it won't get any better as I am working full time now.

YuukiAsuna-chan, well, Shirou does have Protagonist EX. Hahahaha.

So yeah, here's the newest chapter!

XXX

The next morning, Shirou woke up to the sight of his ceiling. The little break had done wonders for his mental health, and the redhead was sure it did the same with Sakura.

He let out a breath as he pushed open his door, "Alright."

Sakura and Rin had further explained their relationship to the young man, and they had decided to have the purple haired girl move to the Tohsaka household with her older of the three had any desire to have Sakura stay in the Matou residence.

Shirou walked out of his room and the main building, spotting Caster Artoria, Lancer Artoria and Saber Artoria sitting on the wooden platform overseeing the space outside his shack.

Caster Artoria spotted him first, and she smiled, "Shirou, good morning."

The redhead smiled, "Hey, good morning."

Saber Artoria glanced at him, "You getting ready to train?"

Shirou nodded, "Yeah."

It wasn't so much of a secret now. The seven Servants were pretty much used to his routine, especially when making breakfast was a part of it.

The redhead smiled knowingly, "I'll get breakfast ready in a bit, okay?"

Their faces betrayed nothing at his words, but Shirou knew they'd be looking forward to the end of his morning routine for food.

As the redhead walked towards his shack, Shirou glanced back at the three kings, "Where are the others?"

Lancer Artoria responded, "Rider and Archer are watching the neighborhood. Assassin and Berserker... they're asleep."

Shirou chuckled, "I see."

The redhead pushed the door open, "Well, I'm pretty sure they'll wake up for breakfast."

The young man pushed aside some of the furniture, revealing a small slot on the ground.

"Hmm? What's that?"

Shirou glanced back to see Caster Artoria peering over his shoulder, and the redhead responded as he pushed the slot open, "Our reserves of mana prisms."

As soon as he did, a green bright glow could be seen despite being closed off by several more layers, and Caster Artoria blinked a few times, "Oh?"

Shirou let out a breath, "Good, we haven't used as much as I thought we would."

The twin tailed king raised an eyebrow, "How much do we still have left?"

The redhead closed the slot shut, "A little more than half. Considering how much we've been using your Noble Phantasms and my magecraft, I'm surprised we still have this much."

Shirou glanced at the ground, "Well, the Leyline might have been replenishing it as the days went by too."

Lancer Artoria hummed, "Perhaps."

The redhead nodded in satisfaction as he stood up, "Alright, I'll be in the dojo if you need me."

The three blondes nodded as they watched their Master run off for the other side of the compound.

Lancer Artoria glanced at her Saber counterpart, "So, I suppose you had an enlightening conversation with Shirou yesterday?"

Saber Artoria nodded, "Indeed I did, he gave me his opinion on my wish for the Grail."

Caster Artoria raised an eyebrow in interest, "Oh, what did he say?"

The younger King of Knights closed her eyes, "He denied my wish, saying that my wish may undo the bad, but will also undo the good I did as king."

The busty King of Knights hummed, "That is true I suppose."

Saber Artoria nodded, "And I also learned that Archer is an alternate version of our Master... But I suppose the both of you knew already."

The two alternate versions of the blonde king nodded, and Caster Artoria asked, "So what do you plan to do now, Saber?"

The younger King of Knights opened her eyes, "I am not sure yet. I will need time to consider what I can do."

Lancer Artoria nodded, "Then take all the time you need. It will be a while before the war truly ends."

Caster Artoria smiled, "Speaking of which, Lancer, what do you plan to do about Shirou?"

The older blonde raised an eyebrow, "What I plan to do? What do you mean?"

The twin tailed blonde smiled, "Amongst us all, your feelings are the strongest. Do you plan to take a step further with him?"

Lancer Artoria's lips curved upwards slightly, as she spared Saber Artoria a glance, "Perhaps in time I will tell him how I feel. What of the rest of us though?"

Caster Artoria shrugged, "Archer and Rider maybe, Assassin more than likely. Not too sure about Berserker though."

Saber Artoria hummed, "What about you, Caster?"

The twin tailed magus smiled coyly, "Perhaps. Perhaps not."

The busty blonde studied her alternate fairy self, before she sighed, "At any rate, we can deal with this at a later date."

Lancer Artoria glanced in the direction of the dojo, "I don't want to distract him, at least until we sort things out with Illyasviel."

Both other blondes nodded, for they too have seen how much Illya and Kiritsugu meant to the redhead.

After a while, the eight of them sat in the living room, having finished breakfast.

Sakura and Rin had decided to have breakfast at their own home, much to the chagrin of Mordred, the disappointment of Medusa and amusement of Archer.

Now, Shirou let out a breath as he finished cleaning the dishes, "Alright, time for school."

The redhead grabbed his student coat, "We'll be doing the usual, yes?"

Caster Artoria nodded, "Yes, two of us will follow you to school, while the rest stay on standby."

Shirou nodded, "Got it. Once we're ready, we'll look for Illyasviel."

Saber Artoria, Lancer Artoria, Rider Artoria and Archer Artoria shared a look, before the maid Servant asked, "Speaking of that, do you know where she's located?"

The redhead stopped at the door of the living room, "I have an idea. There's a castle that the Einzbern family used back in the Fourth Holy Grail War."

Five of the seven Servants nodded, understanding what he was referring to.

Archer Artoria smiled slightly, "Then you know where it is. We can talk about this more when you get back from school."

Shirou nodded, "Yeah, we will."

Rider Artoria snorted, "Very well, and while we're at it, I'll follow you to school today."

Archer Artoria's smile widened as she raised her hand, "Me too!"

Heroine X huffed, "Two of us already, I suppose one more should be enough. In that case-"

"I'll go."

The Assassin snapped her head at the most mature version of them, Lancer Artoria smiling as she stood up, "Archer, Rider and myself will accompany Shirou, while the rest of us will stay on standby or scout out the city."

Shirou nodded, "Sounds like a plan."

With that said, the redhead walked out of the living room as he put on his coat before grabbing his bag.

Archer Artoria and Rider Artoria both vanished in a swirl of blue, and as Lancer Artoria did the same, she smiled innocently at Heroine X's twitching face.

As the four left the house, Heroine X growled, "That bitch, I haven't had any screen time for a while now goddammit!"

X Alter sighed as she munched on a bag of chips, "X-san, down."

Saber Artoria stared at her alternate self from the Servant Universe, and she sighed, "This is the King of Knights from another world, huh?"

Caster Artoria chuckled, "Don't let it get to you."

Heroine X whined, "I'm the heroine of this story dammit!"

The twin tailed Caster's smile turned forced, and the 'original' version simply sighed once more.

With Shirou, the young man walked towards Homurahara Academy as usual. The redhead let out a breath, "Feels kinda weird going to school after all that."

"True, get used to it."

The young man turned to see Rin and Sakura walking behind him, and the purple haired girl smiled, "Good morning, Senpai."

Shirou smiled in response, "Good morning, Sakura, Tohsaka."

The brunette snorted, "Morning to you too, I guess."

The three stopped in front of a set of crossroads, and Rin asked, "So Emiya-kun, what do you plan to do now? You don't wish to get the Grail, do you?"

Shirou paused, "No, I still don't want to obtain the Grail. For now, I want to have a chat with Illyasviel."

Sakura blinked, "Illyasviel? From the Einzberns?"

The redhead nodded, "Yeah, she sent her maids to observe us. For whatever reason I don't know."

Rin hummed, "You know where she is."

Shirou glanced back at her, a small smirk on his face, "I have a suspicion, yes."

The brunette studied him for a minute, "I see. What do you plan to do with her though?"

The pedestrian lights turned green, and Shirou walked onto the road, "For now, I want to talk. If she turns out to be my sister, then I'll do whatever it takes to clear up any misunderstandings. If not, she dies."

Sakura and Rin shared a concerned look, before they quickly followed after the redhead.

As the three went towards their school, Archer stood on a roof, having overheard their conversation.

The Counter Guardian snorted, 'Another difference yet again.'

The white haired man leaped onto another roof, following the three, and he had no doubts at least a few of the Artoria Servants were around them as well.

Later, Shirou rested his head on an arm as Taiga rambled on about grammar and sentence structures.

English wasn't his best subject, nor his best language, but he was decent enough.

Kiritsugu had taught him that much at least. The late Magus Killer had been proficient in many languages, English had been one of them.

Although the man didn't have the time to teach Shirou every one of them, English was one the former assassin managed to hammer into the young man.

So Taiga's classes were all but useless to him, not that he could say that to the woman's face of course.

The young man simply watched idly as the woman tormented another student with questions, and his mind wandered off.

A while after living with Kiritsugu, the man had come clean about his actual profession.

Then he had started training Shirou in the ways of a Magus Killer, even if the now late assassin didn't want to admit it.

Shirou was taught how to use firearms, taught strategies that were specific to fighting magi.

Shirou had never really understood them, until Kiritsugu told him about his late adoptive mother.

Irisiviel von Einzbern.

Enthusiastic and naïve, but strong and determined.

Those were the words Kiritsugu had used to describe his late wife. The man had told him all about her.

How she loved to drive, albeit dangerously. How she was always fascinated by modern technology.

How she'd been a homunculus of the Einzberns. How her 'father' planned to sacrifice her for the Holy Grail.

How Kiritsugu had essentially killed her because he had gained the interest of Kotomine Kirei in the Fourth Grail War.

How Jubstacheit von Einzbern all but planned for Illyasviel's presence to be a reason for Kiritsugu to return to Germany with the Holy Grail, and how the Einzbern had kept his sister captive.

Emiya Shirou didn't know his late adopted mother, but he could see how much it meant to Emiya Kiritsugu.

For the man's eyes had always seemed dead, full of despair, only showing signs of hope and life occasionally with him.

Yet whenever they brought up Irisviel and Illyasviel, light returned to those otherwise dead eyes, but they would be quickly overwhelmed with guilt and grief.

Until Shirou had somehow managed to convince the older man that they could retrieve Illyasviel.

The young man couldn't recall now, but they had a rather heated but one-sided discussion. That discussion had been what kicked Shirou's training into full drive.

Kiritsugu had his Magic Crest transplanted onto Shirou's back, and even prepared a reservoir of mana prisms.

The former Magus Killer taught him more in depth strategies in dealing with magi, and all the in and outs of the Moonlit World.

They even went through the applications of Time Alter and Innate Time Control despite Shirou's initial inability to use it.

Everything went smoothly, and they gradually started to plan their attack on the Einzbern compound in Germany.

Until news came to Kiritsugu that Illya had been killed. That sent the man into despair once more.

Then Kiritsugu left the world.

Shirou furrowed his brows. If Illyasviel, who was now a participant of the Fifth Holy Grail War, was truly his sister, what would he do?

The redhead clenched his fists.

Some part of him hoped it was a scam, that the young female homunculus bearing his older sister's name was all but a fake.

It would be easy then. A simple command to his Servants, or even his own Magecraft.

That would be it, his problems would be solved.

But another part hoped that it wasn't a scam, that Illyasviel was really his sister somehow.

He owed it to Kiritsugu to try, to finish what the late man had prepared him for.

And despite what most might think, Shirou truly loved his father, along with the rest of his late family.

Shirou let out a breath, staring out of the window. But before he could continue his line of thought, Fujimura Taiga's voice reached his ears.

Dangerously so, as if she was right beside him.

"Emiya-kun? Are you listening?"

Shirou turned, and he was met with the sight of an orange sweater. He moved his gaze upwards, and he was then met with the smiling face of his guardian.

Her smile was anything but friendly.

The teacher looked at his textbook, which was three pages behind what they were currently at, and the redhead felt a sense of dread.

Taiga smiled, "Emiya-kun, mind telling us which chapter we're at?"

The redhead's awkward smile didn't help when faced with the wrath of his surrogate sister.

Later, Taiga leaned on the table in one of the counselling rooms, with Shirou seated in front of her.

The woman sighed, "You okay? It's not like you to doze off during class."

The redhead didn't respond. He could probably come up with a lie on the spot, but he didn't exactly want to lie to Taiga of all people.

Taiga studied his face, and she sighed again, "Are you not telling me something?"

The woman pulled the chair on her side of the table and sat down, "So, what is it? Girl problems? You've been hanging out with Tohsaka and Sakura-chan quite a lot recently."

Shirou chuckled, "You wish."

Taiga smiled, "Then what is it?"

The redhead paused, and he closed his eyes, sending out a question to his Servants, 'Should I tell her?'

Lancer Artoria's voice answered him, "You should. Despite being a civilian, if you do save Illyasviel, she will meet her eventually."

Shirou sighed, 'Fine...'

He looked at his surrogate sister, "How much do you know about Kiritsugu's daughter?"

The woman's smile dropped, "...Kiritsugu's daughter?"

Taiga put on a smile, "What brought this up?"

Shirou studied his guardian's expression as he spoke, "Years ago, Kiritsugu and I received news that my elder sister in Germany passed away. A few days ago, I met a young lady who bore her name."

The woman paused, before she furrowed her brows, "So you believe that young lady to be Kiritsugu's daughter?"

The redhead nodded, "I suspect it. But here comes my problem. The Einzbern family specializes in the creation of homunculus."

Taiga froze, "What did you just..."

Shirou didn't stop and continued, "The girl I met may have been a clone, in which case, I would kill her. But if she happens to be my actual sister..."

The woman stared at her ward, "Shirou, you... are you following in Kiritsugu's footsteps? On that side?"

The redhead blinked, "What? No, of course not... and that side...!"

His eyes widened, and Taiga sighed, a small smile forming on her face, "I see..."

Shirou furrowed his brows, "You know?"

The teacher snorted, "Of course I do. Or at least, to some extent."

The redhead frowned, "How?"

Taiga smirked, "My grandfather keeps an eye on everything in this city. I don't know everything, but I do know magic exists."

She huffed, "And my grandfather has been doing everything he could to keep me away from that."

Shirou blinked, "I... I see... So that old man knows too."

The teacher nodded, "Yeah, and well, I believe Kiritsugu's told him some of it before."

Taiga looked at him, "So, what are you going to do?"

Shirou leaned into his chair, "The plan is to talk to her first."

The woman studied his face, "I see... You really take after him, don't you?"

The redhead blinked, "Huh?"

Taiga leaned into her chair, "Kiritsugu... He always seemed out of it, as if he regretted doing something he shouldn't have done. I'm not sure what happened, but some time before he left us, he regained some sort of fire in him."

She scoffed, "It was around that time my grandfather told me not to visit you two as much, well, not that it matters any more."

Shirou blinked a few times, before he nodded slowly, "I see..."

Taiga folded her arms, "Well, if it's something on that side, then I can't do anything to help you."

She nodded again as she closed her eyes, "Not one bit."

The redhead chuckled, "Well, yeah, I suppose."

Shirou looked at her, "But still, thanks."

Taiga grinned, "No biggie, but I do expect a full course meal for dinner some time this week, and it needs to be with Sakura-chan too."

The redhead chuckled, "Considered it done. I'll let you know when we're up for it."

The woman smiled, before she stood up, "Alright, now get your ass back to class. I'll let you off this time for not paying attention."

Shirou smiled as he scratched the back of his head, "Alright alright."

Later that day, Shirou walked past the playgrounds as he headed home.

The redhead looked at a side, where children were playing on the slides and swings.

He spotted a young boy with unkempt black hair, running around as a young girl with shoulder-length red hair tied in a side pony tail chased after him.

"What are you looking at?"

Lancer Artoria's voice reached his ears, and Shirou shook his head, "Nothing, just watching the kids play."

The busty woman materialized beside him, wearing her white dress, "Is that so? They do seem to be having fun."

Shirou nodded, "Yeah."

The blonde king hummed, "On a side note, to think Taiga knew about the Moonlit World."

Rider Artoria revealed herself on the other side of their Master, "Hmph, she's sharp, dumb but sharp. I wouldn't be surprised."

Archer Artoria too did the same, nodding a few times.

The redhead nodded, "Yeah, but I guess she only knows a bit."

Shirou walked into the playground, sitting down on one of the benches, to which the three blondes followed suit.

The redhead asked, "All of you have some form of experience with the Fourth War, right?"

Lancer Artoria nodded, "In a way, yes."

Archer Artoria hummed, "Well, technically yes, but only Lancer's really experienced it personally."

Rider Artoria snorted, but did not deny it.

Shirou leaned on the bench, "Then you've met Illya."

All three blondes nodded, Lancer Artoria answering, "Yes, we have."

The redhead looked at the two children playing, "Kiritsugu's told me some stuff about my sister, but he's never really gone too much in detail."

Archer Artoria folded her arms, "Hmm, well, I can't say I've interacted with her that much. We were mostly with Irisviel, and some times with Maiya."

Rider Artoria huffed, "Does it matter? You've said it yourself, you'll find out when you talk to her."

Shirou chuckled, "True."

He stood up, "Alright, I've moped around long enough. We'll head for the Einzbern Castle after dinner."

(Linebreak)

That evening, Shirou shoved an SMG with two spare magazines inside a small bag.

Caster Artoria's voice reached his ears, "Bringing weapons?"

The redhead turned to see her, and he nodded, "Yeah, in case anything happens."

Rider Artoria hummed, "A wise decision."

Heroine X snorted, "Hmph, you don't need to worry a thing with me here!"

Shirou chuckled, "Maybe, but better safe than sorry."

He shut the door for his house, "Caster, is our Bounded Field up?"

The twin tailed blonde nodded, "Yep."

Shirou nodded, and he turned, only to see Archer leaning on one of the lamp posts near them, "Archer."

The white haired man smirked, "Leaving without telling us? Guess Rin was right to have me check on you."

The redhead stared at his older alternate self, "You know why."

Archer snorted humorlessly, "Unfortunately, yeah. Straight for the Einzbern castle?"

Shirou nodded, "Yeah."

The Counter Guardian chuckled, "Rin and Sakura'll be pissed."

The redhead shrugged, "Yeah, guess I'll have to deal with it."

Archer sighed, "Whatever, you know what you're doing I suppose. You've been going pretty good as far as I've seen."

He pushed himself off the post, "I'll figure out some bullshit excuse and get Mordred and Medusa to watch the city in case Medea or Goldie tries anything."

Shirou nodded, "Thanks."

Archer scoffed, "Hmph, thank me when you set things straight with your sister."

With that said, the white haired man vanished in a swirl of blue particles, leaving the eight in the now otherwise quiet path.

Heroine X scoffed, "Hmph, good riddance."

X Alter puffed her cheeks and pulled on her friend/alternate-self's cheeks, "X-san, behave."

The 'Chosen One' of the Servant Universe grimaced and winced, "Ow ow ow! Ecchan!"

Rider Artoria sighed, "Let us get moving."

(Linebreak)

A short while later, Illya sat in her room, and her eyes snapped open when she felt a disturbance in the Bounded Field around the castle.

Seven Servants, one Master. Illya quickly knew who it was.

She rushed out of her room, "Berserker, Sella, Leysritt!"

Her Servant appeared before almost in an instant, her two maids revealing themselves a short moment later.

The two maids knew what she wanted, and the ancient Greek hero simply stood there ready for his orders.

Illya thinned her lips, "Get ready, we have company."

She looked at her Servant, "Berserker, go on ahead. If they attack-!"

The Bounded Field pulsed again, this time, pinging at the front door of the castle.

Sella frowned, "They're here already?!"

Illya frowned, "... Let's go meet them."

The maid furrowed her brows, "Very well, but if anything happens, Lady Illyasviel, you must run."

The girl said nothing, and instead walked towards the entrance of their castle.

As expected, the four spotted the eight at the door, Shirou standing in front of his seven Servants.

Illya didn't miss the fact that the redhead carried a gun, while all seven Servants seemed guarded, focused on Berserker.

The girl spoke, "What do you want?"

Shirou stared at her, "I have some questions, depending on your answer, it'll determine what I do next."

Illya scoffed, "Is that so?"

The redhead simply held his gaze, "Of course, my Berserker has already taken down yours before. I have seven Servants, and I also have an alliance with both Masters of Archer, Rider and the extra Saber."

The white haired girl held back a frown, she knew he was right. Illya was very much cornered, especially now that they were all here.

The older girl stared at him, "Fine, what do you want?"

Shirou steeled his gaze, "First, you said your name is Illyasviel, right?"

Illya nodded, "Yes."

The redhead stared at her, "How old are you?"

The girl frowned, confused at his question, but answered nonetheless, "18. I'm turning eighteen this year."

A few of his Servants seemed to be satisfied by her answer, but Shirou seemed to be surprised by that answer, and he scowled, "You're lying. You can't be eighteen."

But before he could continue, Saber Artoria spoke up, "Shirou, she is not lying."

The redhead turned to her, "What? How are you sure?"

Caster Artoria too spoke up, "Shirou, she is not lying. I can assure you."

The other five variants of the King all nodded, and Shirou looked at Illya again, "How? Kiritsugu received intel that you died."

Illya frowned, "... What?"

Sella looked at her master, "Lady Illya, if what he's saying is true, perhaps-"

The girl cut her off, "No, Kiritsugu abandoned me, this is just a scam to get our guard down-"

Shirou spoke up, "It's not a scam! You're Kiritsugu's daughter, aren't you? Your mother's name was Irisviel."

Illya blinked at his reaction, and she scowled, "And what does that have to do with you? You stole him!"

The redhead held his gaze, "Why do you think I'm how I am now? Kiritsugu trained me to bring you back from Germany!"

Shirou stared at her in the eye, "He wanted to bring you back to Japan, he wanted for us to live as a family in that house!"

The girl faltered, "But grandfather-"

Sella placed a hand on her shoulder, "May have lied to us all."

Leysritt nodded, "I agree."

Berserker grunted, and the three homunculi could tell that he too agreed.

Shirou started to walk forward, "If you're really my sister, then I want to make up for all those years we missed."

The redhead reached the top of the stairs, where all four were standing, and he extended a hand towards his sister, "What do you say?"

Illya stared at his hand for a minute, before looking at him, "But the Holy Grail War-"

"Shouldn't matter."

The girl looked at her maid, as Sella stared at her firmly, "Lady Illyasviel, you don't have anything to wish for from the grail. Everything is for Lord Jubstacheit. This is a matter that's been troubling you for a long time, I think it's time you resolved it."

Illya sighed, "Fine... If grandfather sends anyone for us, we'll just have to kill them I guess."

The eight Servants sweatdropped at her words, not sure how to react.

The girl took her brother's hand, "Okay, let's go."

Shirou blinked, "Wait, just like that?"

Illya nodded, "Yep, no time like the present, right?"

The redhead blinked, before he chuckled, "Okay."

The girl nodded in satisfaction, before she added with a smile, "Oh, and you have to call me Onee-chan, okay?"

Shirou made a difficult expression, "... Do I have to?"

Illya nodded seriously, "Of course, I'm older than you, after all."

The redhead sighed, "Fine... Onee...chan."

An invisible arrow pierced through Illya's heart, as she placed her free palm over her chest, "Ugh... maybe this isn't the best idea."

Shirou smiled awkwardly, "For simplicity's sake I'll just call you Illya."

The shorter girl made a disappointed expression, "I guess that's fine too..."

Illya glanced at Sella and Leysritt, "I'll be back tomorrow, okay?"

The two maids stared at their master, before nodding.

Shirou smiled, "Alright, let's go."

Illya nodded, "Okay."

A short moment later, Shirou and Illya were outside the Emiya residence, with the other Servants aside from Saber Artoria in astral form.

The white haired girl hummed as she studied the house, "Hmm, so this is the house Kiritsugu and mama lived in before."

Shirou nodded, "Yeah, and it'll be the house you'll be living in too, if you want to."

Illya nodded without a word, and Shirou pushed the door open.

The redhead led his sister into the doors, "This might sound a bit weird, but welcome home, Illya."

The white haired girl snorted, an amused smile on her face, "It does sound weird, but sure, I guess."

The young man brought Illya around the house, showing her most of the place, including Kiritsugu's room.

Shirou looked at Illya as they stopped in the corridors, "I'm not sure which room you want, and I'm pretty sure your castle is way bigger..."

Illya shook her head, "The castle is different. This place feels more like a home anyway."

The redhead smiled, "I was thinking of having you stay in Kiritsugu's room. There's a bunch of stuff I think you might like to see, including some of the ones that belonged to Irisviel."

The white haired girl pursed her lips, "I see..."

Shirou looked at his sister, "Illya..."

Illya shook her head, tightening her grip on her brother's hand, "It's not your fault, I know you're trying... But I've been told Kiritsugu left me for... well, you... I'm still coming to terms with that."

The redhead nodded, "When you're ready, would you tell me more about how Kiritsugu was before the Fourth war? And about Irisviel too?"

The white haired girl blinked, "Huh?"

Shirou smiled, "Kiritsugu's told me quite a bit about our... mother, but he's never really gone too much into detail."

He paused, before adding, "If you don't like me calling Irisviel that..."

Illya shook her head with a smile, "No, I'm just surprised."

She nodded, "Of course I'll tell you, you're my little brother, so she's your mother too."

Shirou smiled, "Thank you."

Illya chuckled, "So is there anything else you want to show me?"

The redhead nodded, "Actually, yes."

The two made their way to the shack, and Shirou pushed open the door, revealing the inside.

Illya blinked, "Is this... your workshop?"

The redhead nodded, "Yeah, but that's not what I wanted to show you."

He walked inside, and pulled open the slot where he kept all of the weapons he had, bringing out the box that kept Kiritsugu's Thompson Contender and its bullets.

Illya blinked, "A gun?"

Shirou nodded, "This is Kiritsugu's Thompson Contender, and his Mystic Code, his Origin Bullets. It's one of the few things he left behind."

He looked at Illya, "You probably won't have a lot of use for them, but I want you to keep half of these bullets."

The white haired girl blinked, "These bullets... are Origin Bullets... You don't mean to say..."

Shirou nodded, "These bullets are made from his bones, and no, I didn't make them. Kiritsugu already had them when he was alive."

He looked at the bullets, "But they are the closest thing I have left of him."

Illya nodded slowly, "Okay."

Shirou smiled, "I'll get you a case for them, but probably tomorrow."

The girl smiled, "Of course, it's getting rather late."

The two nodded and went to bed, whilst the eight Servants watched in silence as their respective Masters reconciled.

(Linebreak)

Meanwhile, at the same time in London, Waver Velvet, otherwise known as Lord El Melloi II, stood outside his office with a luggage.

Gray, too, had a moderately sized luggage with her, "Teacher, what are we waiting for?"

Waver made a complicated face, "We'll be bringing some assistants, so to speak."

"Calling your sister an assistant? That's a new one."

The two turned to see a blonde young girl walking towards them, accompanied by a silver woman carrying a large luggage.

Gray smiled, "Reines! You're going to Japan too?"

Reines smirked, "But of course, my dear brother is heading straight into a Holy Grail War, I can't have him dying on me now, can I?"

Waver sighed, "You just can't have me dying before I repay my debts."

"And yet you still add on to your staggering list of debts, my good friend!"

Laughter reached their ears, and they turned to see a white haired man grinning at them. Waver sighed once more, "Melvin, what do you want?"

Melvin recoiled in mock hurt, "I can't even see my friend off before he heads off to war? How cruel must you think me to be?"

The bespectacled man sighed, "It'll be an amusing tale to tell, if I survive my time in that wretched town again."

The other man laughed, "And yet you're dying to just even see the war again!"

Waver chuckled, "You know me so well."

Reines hummed, placing a palm on her cheeks, "How envious, to see my brother getting on with someone else better even that he does me."

The bespectacled man snorted humorlessly, "Save the theatrics, please."

Gray giggled at their interactions, "Who else are we waiting for?"

Waver pushed his glasses up, "We're waiting for two more people."

He looked forward, and spotted two young women walking towards them, "And it seems they're here now."

Luviagelita Edelfelt and Olga Marie Animusphere both made their way towards the group, with the former carrying a luggage, while the latter simply held a considerably large briefcase.

Gray smiled as she spotted them, "Miss Luvia, Olga Marie! Are you both joining us too?"

Luvia smirked, "Yes, I hear my... rival of sorts, is participating in this war. It'll be a good opportunity to bring her down once and for all."

Olga sighed, "Not me, I'm just here to drop something off."

Waver nodded, "I assume it is ready?"

The white haired girl nodded as she handed him the briefcase, "Yes, my father was reluctant, but once he heard that it would be you, he finished it."

Gray blinked, "What is it that you're talking about?"

Waver studied the briefcase, "A modified and prototype version of the Fuyuki Grail War summoning system."

Olga nodded, "It's been proven that you can summon a Servant outside a Holy Grail War, as shown when Doctor Heartless summoned the Servant Faker, though you still need to create conditions that imitate a Grail War."

The professor of the group nodded, "Indeed, and with that in mind, we somehow managed to convince Marisbury to create his own version of that same system."

The white haired girl smiled, "Well, it did take a lot of work, but we managed to make it in time. Thanks to Doctor Heartless carelessly leaving a lot of his notes with my father, of course."

Gray blinked, "So... does that mean we can summon our own Servants with this?"

Waver nodded, "Yes. Considering most, if not all the slots for the actual Grail War would've been filled, I believed this would be a safety net of sorts."

Olga Marie nodded, "As of now, if you connect the briefcase to a Leyline, you can maintain two Servants that are combat ready, or a few non-fighting Servants indefinitely. At least, according to the standards of the Faker class Servant."

The bespectacled man nodded, "Which is plenty, if we manage to summon the Servants I'm hoping for."

Melvin hummed, "I see, so that's why you wanted me to go through all that trouble. You were looking for another relic."

Waver smirked, "Yeah, well, I have no doubts he would answer my call once more... Hopefully, but another catalyst wouldn't hurt for our second Servant."

Reines looked at her brother, "So are we gonna summon them here?"

The long haired man chuckled, "Of course not. It'll be a pain to bring him on a plane. No, we'll summon them as soon as we land in Japan."

Waver looked at Olga Marie, "Thank you for your troubles though, I owe you for this one."

The girl folded her arms, turning away with a huff, "Well, I still owed you for the time on that train."

The professor chuckled, "Thank you anyway."

He looked at the three other girls, "Okay, we'll be heading to Japan now. Our flight's in a few hours, so we'll have plenty of time to get there."

The three all nodded, and they set off for the airport.

That's it folks!

So the next chapters will be Waver and co arriving in Japan. We'll see how their arrival affects the war!

Also, I have yet to decide who the second Servant they're bring will be. Do send in your suggestions, and I'll reveal it in the next chapter most likely.

It has to fit the narrative, and is logical on how they can be summoned. Those will be the considerations I'll be having in choosing them.

So yeah, until next time.

Read and review please.
