They were both at work early and getting on top of the the paperwork and cases. both quite tired... both still on a high of happiness though... glances between them kept them going through the morning and Sonny and Fin both picked up on the happiness of their boss and Peter, giving each other smug knowing looks...
At lunchtime they both sat quietly Liv's office eating salads and chatting about cases that needed reviewing this afternoon. Olivia gazed at Peter and she smiled shyly back not really caring who saw although the door was half closed so no one would notice anyway.
Olivia asked if Peter would like to come for dinner with her this evening which Peter accepted straight away... no question about it... wherever Olivia was he wanted to be too!
Peter gave Olivia a kiss in the office... door shut and blinds closed of course... before he left to go to his office. The plan was that he would go do work in his office catch up on some court cases that are coming up and then go to Olivia's for dinner and stay over. He had offered to stay at his apartment tonight to give Olivia some time to herself but Olivia had cuddled up to him at that point earlier and started kissing him... sensually... so Peter had quickly changed his mind which Olivia couldn't stop smiling at!
When he got to Olivia's he couldn't stop smiling... something had captured his interest at the office and it made him feel all warm inside... like his relationship with Olivia did... he liked feeling like this...
Olivia greeted him with a firm and loving kiss. They walked through to the kitchen hand in hand.
"How are you...?" Peter whispered wanting to check she was ok and wanting to take care of her. Olivia smiled and said that she was feeling pretty exhausted tonight and Peter suggested an early night... Olivia nodded... actually just wanting to fall asleep in Peter's arms... tonight.
Peter made them some hot chocolates in the kitchen to take to bed and he got changed while Liv got changed as well.
Olivia used the bathroom and then slipped into bed beside Peter who immediately pulled her into a tight cuddle.
"Mmmm you smell lovely..." Peter was smelling Olivia's neck in a sensual way and Olivia felt Peter's nose tickling her... she giggled and they lazily kissed for a while under the covers before Olivia lay her head on Peter's chest and their breathing both slowed down... dropping off... happily... content... in love...
