Chapter 13: Magical Problems and Strategies
Tucker had left his house, and was on his way back to the Nasty Burger.
He had been low on cash, but managed to get some extra money from his dad by claiming that he needed it for a security update that he needed for his PDA. He also lied about the month being cyber awareness month as an added bonus, when it reality, the money was for more fast food.
"Good thing that dads are understanding about the needs of their sons..."Tucker thought as he counted the cash.
He did feel some guilt for the lie, but rationalized that what he had to gain was more important, which is to prove a certain doctor wrong.
"Plus, it is for a growing boy..."Tucker thought as he licked his lips in anticipation.
However, he suddenly felt a grumbling in his stomach...or rather, he felt what would be described as pebbles tumbling into stones inside his stomach!
The pain was almost unbearable as he held himself for a minute before it subsided. He took in some air and felt a small wave of relief pass over him. He then made a quick theory what it is, ignoring the obvious answer.
"Ehhh...I think being on an empty stomach is bad. I guess its time to fix that with the proper grub..."Tucker said, being stubborn and negligent to his health.
He ignored the pains and made it to his favorite establishment. However, once there, he found himself being pushed out.
"Hey, what gives?!..."Tucker complained, as the workers pushed him out.
"Sorry about this, but we're just following orders..." Paige said, being the one pushing him out.
"Hey, why are you doing this?! I'm a paying customer and your best one! I'm putting everyone here through college here, so why can't I get any service?!..."Tucker whined.
Paige and her co-worker sighed, deciding to let their boss handle with this. Third Degrees Irving stepped up and continued to deny him entrance to the fast food restaurant.
"Sir, I'm going to have to ask you to leave. Sorry, but we have been instructed to ban you from this establishment for the time being..."He said, frowning at him, though it almost sounded like he was rehearsing lines when he spoke to him.
"What?! Why?!..."Tucker demanded, not understanding why this is happening.
He was met with a nasty surprise as he saw his face on a poster that said, "Do not serve."
"What the heck?!..."Tucker shouted, kicking open the door and storming over to the counter.
"I demand answers!..."He shouted.
"Sorry, but it's for reasons that we cannot get into..."Irving said, not making eye contact.
"What does that mean?!..."Tucker demanded.
"Classified..."Irving said, while the tech geek got more upset.
Irving frowned, knowing that he had a job to do. Snapping his fingers, he pointed at Tucker as two of the staff held Tucker by the arms and pulled him further away from his restaurant.
As he was being dragged away, Tucker saw a large amount of money sticking from the restaurant manager's pocket and he realized it must've been someone with enough to spend for bribery.
There was only one person who could give that amount of cold hard cash and use it for this specific demand as he put two and two together.
"Wait...oh that little...Sam!..."Tucker said in accusation, only for Irving to dart his eyes away.
"I don't know her-him! I don't know him! Anyway, get out and stay out. You might buy a lot, but you've also been disturbing the other customers with how much you've been eating, so get!..."Irving said, kicking him out of the restaurant.
The other employee's went back inside, but not before making sure that the techno geek was kicked out for now.
Tucker quickly became VERY upset. He never felt this angry before, except for perhaps a time when the school menu was made meatless...by the same person who caused his current misfortune.
"So not cool!..."He muttered before he pulled out his phone.
He called the prime suspect and decided to give her a piece of his mind.
"Hello..."Sam said.
"You got me banned from the Nasty Burger, didn't you?! Don't lie, I know you did it!..."Tucker accused.
"Of course I did, it's keeping you alive!..."Sam said seriously.
"You can yell at me all you want, but I'm not lifting the ban until you give up this nonsense! It's for your own good!..."She said, gagging at the thought of her friend gorging on any more food.
Tucker remained stubborn and kept complaining to her over the phone.
"I can't believe that you'd stoop this low! You're trying to deprive me of what I love to push your agenda onto me! This is just like when you changed the menu and made us eat like goats! All you think about is what you think is better! Has it ever occurred to you to respect other people choices!? I got my rights to eat whatever the heck I want!..."He accused.
His female friend, however, decided to point out the reality of the situation.
"This is NOTHING like that! I only made them ban you for your own good, since you're clearly having some freaky episode and risking your health!..."Sam said, only for Tucker to scoff angrily.
"Can't you just leave me to enjoy what I love, while you go eat like a rabbit somewhere else?!..."He complained.
"I was gonna let you learn your lesson the hard way, but then I figured that you being in a hospital bed is just gonna make things harder for the team and your parents too. That and I don't actually want you to end up losing any arteries!..."The goth girl said.
"I'm not gonna end up in a hospital! I'm on the fast track of cracking down on a major conspiracy!..."Tucker said, pointing at his phone as if Sam could see him pointing at her.
However, he suddenly felt his stomach rumbling and woozy for a moment, while the goth girl continued to berate him over the phone.
"No, you're on the fast track to a heart attack from putting nothing in your body except for processed meat, grease, salt, sugars and potatoes! Plus, we both know that at the way that you're eating, then you're also on the fast track to a lifetime of insulin!..."Sam said with a flat tone.
"I'm not gonna end up like that!..."Tucker yelled stubbornly, ignoring the strange looks people were sending him right now.
"Yes, you are! You're being stubborn and left me with no choice! You'll thank me for this one day, no matter how unbelievable we both think that is right now!..."Sam said, ironically sounding like a parent scolding a child.
Before Tucker could whine, he got another phone call.
"Hang on, I got another call, but we're so not done here!..."Tucker said as he saw that it was from Danny.
"Fine..." Sam said as he hung up on her so that he could answer Danny's call.
"Yeah?..."Tucker asked.
"Tuck, we got a problem!..."Danny said, quickly.
"Sam banned you from the Nasty Burger too?!..." Tucker asked.
"What? No. I'm talking about something else! Listen!..." Danny started as he listed off what happened just now.
The techno geek instantly felt his jaw drop from hear the news as the half ghost hero explained. The phone call ended with an order to head to Fenton Works for an emergency meeting for Team Phantom.
Tucker soon hung up and quickly headed to Danny's house, since it's an emergency.
Later
At Fenton Works
Danny and Star were in the lab, and once again, had another emergency meeting. They had called Jazz, Sam, Tucker and Valerie here, given the level of trouble that they were dealing with.
They quickly explained what had happened and they were horrified to say the least.
"ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!..."They all shouted.
"I wish that we were..."Star said, rubbing her forehead out of irritation for this whole situation that they found themselves in.
"That... doesn't sound good..." Jazz said, stating the obvious.
"Understatement of the century!.."Her brother said, hating this.
In fact, this was the absolute worst case scenario that Team Phantom could possibly face right now, second only to another invasion from the Ghost King!
"I can't believe it! That nightmare with hair extensions has powers now too?!..."Sam shouted, feeling a bit of envy but overall horrified by this out of nowhere impossibility.
"And she tried to fight you and kidnap Danny?!..."Jazz asked, sounding angry and horrified about that.
"She did! And right inside our house too!..."Danny said, hating how powerless he had to act.
He still felt his skin crawl over the whole ordeal, while the others expressed concern for him.
"You okay, Dude? She didn't do anything too traumatizing or drastic to get you to come along with her, did she?..."Tucker asked, worried about him.
Danny sighed.
"I'm fine. Thankfully, Star managed to show up just in time, otherwise I'd have had to play dumb before she dropped her guard..."He said, rolling his eyes.
Still, he was glad that he didn't have to resort to having his secret revealed to fend her off, or that would have just been more troublesome.
"Glad I made it too..."He muttered, while one of his friends was confused about something.
"Why didn't you kick her butt yourself, Danny?..."Val asked, knowing that he could've handled her.
"Believe me, I wanted to but I couldn't. If I transform right in front of her, we'll be dealing with even BIGGER problems and her finding out my secret is NOT one I want to deal with!..."Danny said.
"Besides, I'm pretty sure that I few punches and roundhouse kicks to the head couldn't make that witch forget about something like that!..."He explained, knowing that Colette wouldn't hesitate to use that information against him at first chance.
"Point taken..."Val said, scratching her chin as she realized that would be far worse for them.
"I was this close to coming phasing myself out of her grip and acting like Danny Phantom did it, but Starlight managed to help out..." Danny said, rubbing the back of his head.
Team Phantom and Valerie then decided on how to plan their next move.
"What do we do?..."Sam asked, seeing that brat from the 1% having powers as the top problem it was and how much harm she can cause.
"Isn't it obvious? We find Colette, beat the snot out of her, find out where she got her powers, figure out how it was done, take her powers away from her, and then make sure it never repeats!..."Star said as she pound her fist into her hand.
"And to make sure that whatever cause this never happens again!..."Danny said, looking just as determined as she is to make sure that powers like that never end up in the wrong hands again.
"Still...you don't suppose that it's the same thing that gave Star powers again?..." Jazz asked.
"Might be, it's too much of a coincidence..."Star said, as she couldn't deny it.
"Which means that if we get rid of whatever gave Colette her powers, it might mean that your ghost powers could disappear along with hers too..."Danny pointed out, wanting to make sure that she was aware of that possibility.
"I'd rather not have powers at all, if it means she's no longer has powers too..."Star said, much to everyone's relieve.
She and the others then began to discuss other ideas and strategies to find and eliminate Colette's powers. However, she felt a rumbling in her stomach, but chose to ignore it
"I can't waste anymore time. I gotta find Colette and pummel her the way that she deserves!..."Star thought, wanting to find her and tear her fake hair out, as well as feed her a couple of knuckle sandwiches as payback.
She turned to her boyfriend and said exactly what they should do.
"Come on, we gotta find that nightmare and beat the snot out of her!..."Star said, wanting to make things right.
"We'll take to the skies and don't think that I'm gonna stick to the sidelines. I've got a lot of anger to let out, since she's whole reason I even have to lock all doors and windows in house these days!..."Danny said, wanting payback.
"What about us? What should we do?..."Val asked, wanting to take part of the action.
"We could definitely use some back..."Star said, and her boyfriend nodded.
"Yeah, we can all split up to track her down. Once one of us finds her, call the others to meet up. After that, while we keep her busy, the rest of you guys can look into whatever caused her to gain powers in the first place..."Danny said, explaining their game plan.
"Smart move, especially since we don't if Colette is working with or being used by someone else in this. It's best that we take her by surprise..."Sam considered, while they made the next move.
"You go check out a different spot than us, most likely Polter Heights where she lives..."Star said.
"And everyone else goes on the lookout for anything suspicious..."Danny added, not wanting to leave the city unprotected.
"Can do..."Sam said, noticing Tucker isn't paying attention.
"Sure..." He said as he typed.
"What are you doing?..." Sam asked.
"Ordering Nasty for delivery. You might have kept me from Nasty, but you can't keep it from me!..." He declared as he headed off.
Everyone sent disapproving looks in his direction before they split off.
Tucker's eating habits would have to wait for now. Right now, they have bigger problems to deal with.
Meanwhile
In Elmerton
Misty was home right now, and she was busy trying to find a ways to deal with Colette and the mess that she inadvertently created.
She was in her family's basement and was looking over both her spell book, and every scroll and every slightly dusty parchment that was here. However, she couldn't find anything concrete so far.
"Come on, come on! There's gotta be some thing here!..."She said, as she kept searching for some kind of way to reverse the effects of the spell that she created.
Frustrated, she then reached into her bag. She then pulled out the Necklace of the Fallen Star, recalling this was because Colette made a wish in its presence.
"This is what did it! This whole situation is ridiculous! I should just destroy this lousy necklace, bury the thing and be done with it!..."Misty said, intending to find something to smash it.
However, before she could do just that, she considered the idea of using it to reverse the wish. Misty checked her spell book and found something. It was written in Chinese, but Misty had been brushing up on her family's native language and could read it clearly.
It was a page about the possible dangers and warnings of the necklace. The dark haired girl began to read the book and it's warnings.
"Warning...when using the Necklace of the Fallen Star, be sure to be mindful of what and how you make your wishes out to be. You also need to make sure to keep it out of harm's way. If the necklace is destroyed for some reason while a wish is still in effect, that wish will be locked and all changes made by that wish will permanently remain until fulfilled..."She read, before getting upset.
"Are you kidding me?!..."Misty shouted angrily before she said some curse words in Chinese.
Some words that were not very appropriate for her age and she was secretly relieved that her mother and LaoLao couldn't hear her. After she finished her angry ranting, she took a deep breath and finished.
"The only way to undo a wish is to either cast a special spell with the necklace, the wisher must experience their desired effects of their wish thereby causing the magic within the wish to collapse in on itself or to make a new wish that indirectly cancels the other out..."Misty read before pinching the bridge of her nose in frustration
"Why do all these magical books write their warnings only after the spells are cast?! What kind of nut-job writes books like this anyway!?..."She said as she began to brainstorm her options here.
"I can't think of any wish that could do that, and there is no way that I can let that maniac get what she wants, so I'll have to cast the spell..."She thought as she went to gather ingredients for the spell.
She made a quick list in time, gather whatever she had available in her family's basement as she did her best to sneak out and gather the rest.
Misty ran out of her house, placing the spell book, necklace and some more scrolls, parchments and other items in her backpack. She she was on her way to the front door before she was spotted.
"Misty, where are you going?! You have studying to do!..."Her mother nagged, blocking her when she saw her running in the house.
"Sorry Mom. I gotta head to the library. I need to get a new geology book for my next science test..."Misty lied, relieved as it made her mother calm down.
"Oh, very well then. Be home by curfew..."Her mother said.
Misty nodded and ran as from from her house as possible. Once she was sure that she was a fair distance away from where her family couldn't see her, she pulled out her spell book.
"No time for a taxi or running..."Misty said as she tried to find the spell she needed.
"Let's see here...Invisibility spell, No. X-ray Vision spell, No. Levitation spell, No. Here it is, teleportation portals! Can only be used once every 6 hours but I got no time to waste!..."Misty said as she used her magic to make a portal and warp in an effort to get to Amity Park faster, as well as get the other ingredients she needs for her clean up spell.
"I sure hope that I find that maniac, before she finds Danny and Star!..."Misty thought, terrified as she feared any harm done was on her conscience.
With Star
The blonde girl was still in her ghost form, and she was flying in the air with her boyfriend who was right beside her, in his ghost form. They were both searching for Colette.
"Any sign of her?..."Danny asked
"No, but that's when she's at her most dangerous. She always drops by when you least want her too..."Star said, still on alert.
"Don't let your guard down for even a second..."She ordered, remaining cautious.
"Just like at school..."Danny muttered, hating this.
The superhero couple kept looking and it would be another 10 minutes and still no sign of the crazed new super powered villainess.
"Typical, the one time I'm actually looking for her and she's nowhere in sight..."Danny muttered, finding this ironic. "Is it wrong that I'm almost kind of excited to finally get to pummel that fake redheaded witch?.."He asked.
"No, it's not. I won't tattle on you, just to be clear..."Star said, ready to knock some teeth out as soon as she runs into that maniac.
Her irritation grew as something else was noticed.
"Brrrhrrr!..."Was heard.
"What was that?..."Danny said as he looked around.
"Uh... nothing. Must be the air..." Star lied, but her boyfriend didn't buy that.
"The air doesn't sound like that. I might be a C student but I'm not that clueless..." Danny said, frowning at her.
However, that same sound came from Star's rumbling stomach and it became louder. Danny could already deduce what his girlfriend was possibly hiding from him.
He sent her a flat look, and she got a little sheepish now.
"Ehe...I guess that it wasn't the air..."Star said, embarrassed.
Danny looked at her and sent a disapproving scowl as she was caught red-handed.
"Please tell me that you didn't skip a meal..."Danny said, shaking his head and looked at her in an almost scolding way.
His girlfriend became increasingly nervous and started to get defensive.
"I didn't mean to. I just forgot. Geez, chill out! I flew in the save you for that lunatic, so don't give me lip! I'm sorry, but this whole Colette getting super powers and trying to waste us has my full attention right now since it's way more important than what to eat! I'm big girl and I can take care of myself, so get off my back already!..."Star snapped, scowling at him.
Danny blinked, but how harsh she sounded. Star was also surprised by her own outburst and covered her mouth. Just like the last time, she let her hunger make her hostile or "hangry" as Tucker once called it when she had been on a diet for the beauty pageant.
"Danny, I'm...I'm sorry. I don't know where that came from!..."Star said before pulling back, feeling guilty for how she acted.
Before Danny could say anything to her, Star suddenly felt dizzy and found herself unable to stay stable, wobbling back and fourth.
Danny panicked.
"Star!..."He said as he grabbed her while she suddenly seemed looked weak.
"What's wrong?..."He asked, concerned.
"I...I don't know...I just got...light headed for some reason..."She said, sounding weak right now.
Danny frowned.
"I'm scheduling an emergency landing, right now!..."Danny said as he took her to the ground, not caring about her mumbled complaints.
Star felt a headache form, and felt both dizzy and nauseous for some reason. She sat down on a bench.
"I feel so wrong..."She said, as she changed back to her human form.
Danny did the same and pulled out a water bottle from his backpack.
"Here. Drink this..."He said, more like an order than an offer.
Star didn't argue, as she drank the water and gasped for air once she was done.
"Thanks..."She said, while Danny still sent her a concerning look.
"Seriously, Star. When was the last time you ate anything?..."He asked.
"Like a few hours ago and it was a light salad..."Star said, shrugging. "But what does that have to do with anything?..."She asked, not seeing harm.
Danny groaned.
"This...right here...is due to what you're doing..."Danny said, gesturing to her.
"There better be a good reason you just gestured at all of me..." Star said with an almost warning glare.
"Don't give me that..."Danny said, before continuing to explain things to her.
"Star, when I fight ghosts and use my powers, I burn up calories the same way a person does if they work out, and I get the same results if I do it non-stop with no breaks. The last time I fought on an empty stomach and used my powers for hours straight with no breaks, I got light headed too...I almost passed out..."He said.
"Really?..."Star asked, sounding worried.
Danny nodded.
"Yeah...it happened way before we started dating. It wasn't pretty..."He said, recalling how it went.
"Tucker and Sam helped me figure out what had happened and, apparently, they found that me burning so many calories non-stop was damaging and I had to stay in human form for a whole day before I could recover..."He explained.
"That sounds very not pretty..."Star said.
"It wasn't. Tucker says that using powers non stop without a break and, on top of that, on an empty stomach can take a toll on my body. It's like a pro athlete doing nothing but working out all day without water and on an empty stomach or a car running a week without oil. It does more harm than good..."He explained, patting his stomach.
"Still glad that was in my early days and that I know better now..."He said, though he was confused about something.
"It's weird though, I'm surprised that you're this tired and out of it after only using your powers for a short while..."He said.
Star felt a shiver and suddenly avoided eye contact with him. Danny frowned, realizing she's hiding something.
"Star..."Danny said in a half scolding tone, demanding an explanation.
Star groaned and gave in.
"Okay...I might have...gone a little overboard earlier and used my powers to work out..."She said, rubbing her arm nervously.
"For how long and what did you do?..."He asked, not liking the sound of that.
"I don't know. I went to the rail yard and lost track of time. It was probably a few hours at the least..."Star explained.
"And you haven't eaten ANYTHING since?!..."Danny asked, expecting her answer.
"Nope..."Star said as her boyfriend got up.
"Okay, I'm taking you to get anything to eat right now, no matter how many calories or saturated fats it has..."He said.
"Please no..."Star said, but her boyfriend refused to allow this any longer.
"Star, you don't realize how serious this is! Your blood sugar is low right now and you can't fly or even fight if you are light headed and dizzy like this. I am speaking from personal experience on how you cannot go on an empty stomach!..."Danny said, pulling her arm.
"Seriously? Why didn't you tell me that this could happen?..."She asked, trying to deflect responsibility.
"I didn't think that you'd actually use your powers this way!..."Danny said, waving his arm out.
"I knew that you were weight conscious lately but to starve yourself like this AND do all that heavy lifting is just plain crazy! Are you trying to put yourself in the hospital like Tucker is?!..."He accused, sounding truly angry and worried at the same time.
"I'm trying to stay healthy here!..."Star said defensively, but faltered when Danny shook his head.
"There is NOTHING healthy with what you've been doing!..."Her boyfriend said, before he pointed ahead towards a new direction.
"There's a pizza joint that way. We're getting a large and you need to eat at least 4 slices. No arguments!..."He said in his "protective/concerned boyfriend" tone, without a hint of compromise.
"I can't!..."She said, yanking her arm away from him.
That action wasn't wise as the blonde girl soon saw an outright upset and even frightful expression on her Boo's face. He kept that look as he directed her attention away.
"Star...please...you're scaring me. Please eat..."Danny said, almost begging.
Hearing that made Star stop rebelling against him as she floated still. Seeing how worried he was getting, she felt guilty and came to her senses.
She sigh in defeat.
"Alright. I'll eat something. I guess I can't keep this up..."Star said, giving in as Danny smiled and took her arm.
Danny let out a breath. He smiled as he took her hand.
"That's a relief..." Danny thought, as he was about to take her to the pizza shop.
However, before they could change back into their ghost forms and go back to flying, Danny saw something coming in.
"Look out!..."Danny shouted as he wrapped his arms around her and pulled her away to avoid the blast, managing to save her at the last second.
"WHOA!..."Star exclaimed as it hit a tree.
Once they were in a safe distance, they realized what had just happened.
"You okay?..."Danny asked, concerned.
"I'm fine, Danny-Boo..."Star said, gasping for air.
"Pity, I missed..."Was heard.
The couple turned and saw who sent the blast. They glared angrily when they saw that it was Colette.
"Colette!..."Star shouted.
"You again?!..."Danny said, crossing his arms.
"Indeed, it is moi!..."Colette said, bowing gracefully in his direction.
The couple glared at her.
"I've been looking to give you a piece of my mind, Colette..."Star said, pointing at her.
"I see that Danny has told you the truth about me. At least that saves me a chance to hunt you and give an explanation..."Colette said before her eyes glowed while looking down on her enough more than she usually does.
Star wanted to fight her, but soon recalled that she and Danny are in their HUMAN forms right now.
"Crud! I can't transform in front of her. This is not good!..."She thought, while her nemesis tried to make her demands
"Now, back away from him Estelle and you can keep both sets of limbs!..."Colette warned, with her eyes and fists glowing.
Despite the situation that they were in, the blonde girl would not surrender to her
"No way, I'm going nowhere!..."Star said as she stood her ground as she glared at her spoiled step-sister.
"As cool as you are right now... pretty sure we don't stand a chance like this..." Danny whispered to her, gesturing to their current forms.
"True, we need to change..."She whispered back, immediately tried to come up with a good game plan on the spot.
"I say we run and try and find a hiding spot, change forms without her seeing us, and then kick her butt to the next century..."Star whispered to Danny.
"Agreed..."Danny whispered back.
"What are you two whispering about? I cannot hear you but I am literally standi-floating right here!..."Colette said, feeling insulted by their ignoring her.
"Believe me, I wish you weren't!..."Star said, sounding as venomous as she could
Colette scowled even harder at her.
"You truly are a fool, Estelle..."She said, her eyes glowing more in a menacing fashion.
Star glared back, trying to think of a way to distract the fake redhead long enough for both her and Danny to run and hide somewhere to transform.
Unknown to them, Misty had been using her magic to track Colette down and see how to deal with her.
"Come on, where is she? How hard is it to find a delusional brat with an ego in that tacky, sparkly outfit she wore?..."She asked herself, looking left and right.
Her search came to an end as Misty soon stopped when she saw that very girl that was her target.
"There she is. And she's with Danny and Star again. Oh no!..."Misty said in a panic, her eyes widening as she tired to figure out what to do next, especially since she didn't have all the ingredients yet.
Not noticing her yet, Colette scoffed as she continued to glare at her targets.
"I grow tired of this..." She said as she pointed her finger at them and in all of her arrogant nature, simply ordered her foes to give up.
"Threatening our lives now? How unsurprising..." Star muttered.
"Silence, foolish Estelle and surrender for Magmafique!..."Colette demanded.
The couple glared at her, but blinked and one of them asked an obvious question.
"Wait...what happened with Madame Whatever you called yourself earlier?..."Danny asked, not getting it.
"I am still trying to autoshop some names..."Colette said, shrugging a bit.
"It's workshop and seriously, "Magmafique"? Danny told me what you called yourself earlier, which is better than that, and that was a lame name too..."Star criticized.
Colette huffed at that.
"Oh, what do you know? I am the only one here with true power!..."She said, eyes and fists glowing.
"If you only knew..." Danny muttered under his breath.
"What was that, Mon Amore?!..."Colette asked, with a hiss in her voice.
"Nothing..."Danny lied, as he and Star tried to make a run for it.
Colette's eyes and hands glowed as she fired without much intention or concern of holding herself back.
"Not so fast!..."Colette shouted as she blasted straight at Star and nearly knocked the breath out of her.
Star was hit and crashed into a nearby tree. Usually, she's tougher than this but the lack of nutrition and how overtaxed her body was lately, she was rendered unconscious.
"STAR!..."Danny shouted in worry as he tried to go to her, but blocked by Colette using an ecto-shield to trap him like a doll in a box.
"HEY!..."Danny shouted, as he ponded on the ecto-walls in protest.
"I see you are too hot-tempered right now to have a proper conversation with, Darling. Perhaps a little nap will help cool you down..."Colette said as a mist escaped her hands and entered her makeshift trap.
"Colette No! Don't you da- ..."Danny said before he became drowsy and fell to the ground.
Colette smirked.
"Oh, Danny. I just knew that you'd FALL for me, eventually..."She said with a giggle and was ready to take him away.
"GET AWAY FROM HIM, YOU MANIAC!..."Misty shouted as she ran out of her riding space, book in hand.
Colette saw her and rolled her eyes.
"You again?! Oh, please. You're not even worth the effort of using my glorious powers on but...oh, vell..."Colette said, as she used the same mist to deal with this nuisance.
Misty was caught off guard as she began to feel dizzy and drowsy now.
"W-What?..."Misty said as she fell to the ground, and struggled to regain consciousness.
Colette smirked as she approached her and kicked the poor girl while she is down.
Both figuratively and literally.
"I warned you about getting in my way..."Colette said as she kicked Misty in the stomach, making her hiss in pain.
"Ouch!..."Misty coughed out, but couldn't do anything about it as Colette kept sending her a smug grin.
Once done, she went to her unconscious step-sister and looked down on her.
"Looks like I win again, Estelle. As if there was ever any doubt that I would..."She said, gloating over her victory as she kicked her in the gut while she was down and she couldn't do anything about it.
"Just like the old days, huh? Mon petit sœur!..."She admitted, before continuing to look down on the unconscious girl who couldn't fight back.
"I could destroy you right now...but I have more important matters to tend to, so I will have to take, as the American's say, a rain-check..."She said, laughing malevolently as she floated away with her prize safely locked away in.
Misty, still struggling to stay conscious, slowly felt the world turned dark around her and the last image she saw was her crush out cold and trapped in the clutches of someone far worse than she had ever thought possible.
"Danny...I'm sorry..."Were her last words before everything became black.
