Chapter 16: Team Phantom Vs Colette
All the heroes glared at Colette, who looks unafraid. She just kept sending them a haughty look, clearly thinking that she had the advantage here.
"Once I'm done here, I should find something less tight for my outfit..."Colette said, gesturing to herself.
"You might wanna make sure it matches your face, cause it's about to be all black and blue!..."Starlight said, as she charged up her now glowing fists.
"I'd like to see you try!..."Colette challenged, only to be met with an ecto ray.
"Believe me, it's MY pleasure..."Starlight said with a smirk before she charged at her enemy.
"Just keep her busy, while I get a spell ready..."Misty said, hands glowing green as she worked on the spell.
"No need to tell us twice..."Sam said, as she and the others joined in the fight.
All the while, Danny was still shocked that she was here with them.
"Why is she here? And how did she get her memory back?..." He thought, feeling a little left in the dark in whatever has happened in his absence.
He felt a little unsure if he should trust her right now. However, the ghost boy pushed those thoughts away for now and focus on their current situation with the villain in front of them.
His captor's presence reminded him who was the greater of the two evils right now. He knew that they had more pressing matters to deal with than Misty's sudden "memory gain".
Speaking of which, Starlight and Colette brawled for a moment, while Colette pushed her off and began to taunt them once more.
"Oh, please! Do you think you and your little sidekicks are a threat to me?!..."Colette scoffed, gesturing to all the masked extras surrounding Starlight and Danny
"That's them, not me! I'm just here for this spell!..."Misty said, making the others glare at her for indirectly calling them sidekicks.
"We are NOT sidekicks! We're teammates!..."Sam yelled, stomping her foot as she hated being treated like an accessory.
"And I'm independent and just helping out!..."Valerie yelled, gesturing to herself and hating down she wasn't given what she felt was the proper recognition as the Red Huntress.
Their enemy just got irritated and brushed this off.
"Who cares what you call yourselves?! It does not matter! You will fall to my feet and be crushed under my boot when this is over. All of you will!..."Colette said, scowling at them with eyes glowing red.
Tucker made an unamused face.
"Okay, I'm 40% less attracted to her than before...and I was already kind of less attracted..."Tucker muttered, still taking a photo of her in the process.
"You'll be 40% less likely to breathe if you choose to stay..."Colette declared, tightening her fists.
Despite sending an annoyed look to Tucker, the goth girl of the group continued to glare at their enemy.
"And who's gonna make us leave, you?!..." Sam challenged.
"Who better? After all, peasants should always obey a Goddess.."Colette said arrogantly, gesturing to herself when she said "Goddess".
"I was wrong, she doesn't have an ego the size of Texas. She has an ego the size of Alaska!..."Sam grumbled.
"Alaska? I'd say it's bigger than Russia!..."Starlight said, gesturing to Colette and believing that it's a more accurate comparison.
Their enemy heard this and merely scoffed.
"Please? Russia dreams it had someone as amazing and beautiful as me!..."Colette retorted, gesturing to herself proudly with a dramatic pose, sparkling energy as she smiled wickedly.
The goth girl sent her an annoyed look before turning to her blonde teammate.
"You know what, you're right..."Sam admitted, before she and the others continued to provide her backup.
The goth girl kept her distance, aiming her Fenton wrist-blasters at the fake redhead's face once it was locked and loaded. She then fired and soon found her shot blocked by a finger.
"You dare to shoot your toy at me?! I don't know or care where you got that from, only that you're annoying me with it!..."Colette angrily said, while shooting a few beams of red energy in retaliation.
"Look out!..."Danny shouted in worry for his friend, but thankfully Starlight managed to make an ecto-shield to block the attack.
"You okay?..."Starlight asked.
"Yeah...thanks..."Sam said, meaning it.
Starlight smiled at that, before glaring at their foe.
"You are such an ignorant little brat!..."The blonde heroine said, as she dodged yet another red beam from her evil step-sister.
"Ignorant?! How dare you?!..." Colette shouted as she blocked another blast from the goth girl with her hand.
"I happen to be quite alert, like how Mon Amore needs some training on how to be proper around moi. With time, like any dog, he will learn to obey!..."She said, as if what she said WASN'T outrageous.
"Define training..." Starlight demanded.
"Let's just say... it'll be quite intense..." Colette said as winked while snapping her fingers.
"Uh... no! So not happening!..." Star said before tackling her.
While the others were dealing with Colette, Danny tried to use this chance to sneak away to "Go ghost".
"Gotta get out of here..."He thought, trying to find a way out.
He tried to race for a nearby door in order to hide and go ghost in there. However, Colette saw him trying to leave and decided to stop him.
"Oh no, you don't!..."She said, as she fired a red blast in front of him that missed on purpose.
"WHOA! HEY!..."Danny yelped.
"Don't even try to leave! I am not done with you yet! I just have to get rid of these vermin and then we can go back to our ROMANTIC night together!..."Colette said, blocking a blast from Starlight without even looking in the process.
"On what planet is kidnapping and threatening someone with lasers out your hands ROMANTIC?!..."Danny shouted, but was ignored the delusional fake redhead.
He tried attempting to make a break for it again, but his stalker wouldn't allow it.
"Oh no, you don't!" Colette went, ready to fire again.
"Get away from him!..."Starlight shouted, pushing her away and attacking her mid-air.
Colette scoffed, as she kept dodging her attacks.
"Ignorant spirit! Once I am rid of you, I am going after my idiotic stepsister Estelle and she shall meet the same fate! I'll be rid of the two biggest pests in my life, just like I wished for!..."Colette said, snarling at her while truly believing that she'll get what she wants in the end.
Hearing that, Misty stopped making the spell before turning her head.
She felt her eyes widen upon hearing that. She remembered what Star told her about the two of them not being so different, as well as one specific detail and it hit her.
"Wait...back up...Estelle...I mean Star...she's your STEPSISTER?!..."Misty exclaimed, putting it together quickly.
"YOU'RE the step-sister that she mentioned?!..."She asked, recalling what both complained about before, during the last time they had...encountered each other.
"And if I am?! Do you think that I care about any other little friends she made to complain about me with?!..."Colette asked rudely, clearly not caring in the slightest.
All the while, Misty was in her head, going through the information as fast as she could. She was washed with a wave of guilt after realization finally hit her.
"When she said that her own family was messed up...I thought she was just exaggerating some things but...but that girl is her STEPSISTER?!..."Misty whispered, appalled as can be as realized that she misjudge Star more than she realized and brushed off her troubles like they were nothing.
She also knew that Colette made it very clear that she intends to waste her as soon as possible.
"Now... what to do with you?..." Colette questioned as she readied an attack.
An attack that never happened as Star kneed her in the face.
"We're not done here!..."Starlight said in a hostile way towards her.
Misty cringed before going back to preparing the spell. She realized that she needed to finish it sooner than possible.
Danny saw this and raised a brow, completely at a loss. However, he sensed that he must have missed a lot in the short time of his absence.
"What happened while I was being abducted?!..."He asked, making a mental note to ask his girlfriend for the details later.
"Let's just say you won't like it..." Starlight said, still miffed over what she did.
"Like how you won't like this?!..." Colette said as she attempted to hit her, only for Star to extended her leg out, causing the impact launching her away.
Colette screamed as she was sent crashing through a window and landing into an opened dumpster.
Starlight smirked.
"Part of me is gonna wish she can keep those powers, just to keep doing that to her..."She said in a semi-serious way, pounding her fist into her hand.
"Great, now I have enough time to prepare the spell..." Misty said.
That's when someone just appeared before them. It was the same foe whom won't leave them alone.
"WHOA! Did she just teleport?...!" Danny asked, surprised that she did that.
Colette appeared before them, angrier than before, covered in garbage and snarling in rage
"You'll pay for this and I certainly don't mean with money!..."Colette shouted. practically frothing at the mouth.
"I think that's a good look on you!..."Starlight scoffed, trying hard not to laugh.
"Let's add to it..."Jazz said, as she aimed the bazooka at the brat once more, ready for another round.
"No need to tell me twice..."Sam said, ready to beat her black and blue.
However, Colette backhanded the shot with little issue. But then she noticed the garbage that was sticking to her and focused on removing every last disgusting piece of filth off of her, especially the ones stunk in her hair.
"What's going on?!..."Sam asked, turning to Misty.
They were confused by Colette's sudden ability to teleport like that. Misty turned to her spell book and panicked.
"Oh no! I think she might be getting a power boost whenever she close to the necklace!..."She said, not liking this.
"What do you mean by that?..."Danny asked, still out of the loop of whatever happened in his absence.
"Apparently, the closer she is to the necklace, the magic she gaining to power herself up increases..."She said.
"Then get rid of it!..."Valerie shouted, trying to reach for it and smash it, but the sorceress stopped her.
"I can't! If we destroy it before we undo the spell, she's stuck like that until her wish comes true! We need it for now!..."Misty reminded.
"Then form the spell and end this nightmare already!..."Starlight ordered, as she kept Colette's rage filled attention squarely on her.
"I need to caste a spell and I'm still missing a bulls meat and I don't exactly have a market handy..."Misty said, gesturing to what she has.
"Is that all?..."Tucker said, as he grabbed something from his bag.
He then handed her the beef jerky that he was saving for later and managed to take at least one small peace while the others were sending him strange looks.
"What?..."Tucker asked, clueless.
"Why were you carrying that?..."Sam asked, forgetting that she was in the middle of a battle right now.
"I get hungry during patrols..."Tucker answered, while the goth girl sent him an incredulous look.
"You've been eating your weight in Nasty Burger junk for days and you STILL wanted to eat more?!..."Sam yelled at him, as if he was nuts and wondering what else he could be hiding in his pockets.
"Sam, not now! We'll talk about Tucker's food obsession later! Right now, we have something more hazardous to our own health to be concerned with right now!..."Jazz reminded, while the group's sorceress took the time to ready her spell.
"Whatever, at least I have this now..."Misty said, as she pulled the other ingredients from her bag.
"Keep that lunatic busy, while I cook up our best shot at winning!..."She said, pointing at the villain.
"Can do!..."Starlight said, pounding her fist into her hand before heading back into battle.
Pulling her arm back, Star swung forward, only for Colette to react by pulling her own arm back, swinging it in time.
Both fists connected.
"Ha! See! I can fight too!..." Colette said, looking smug.
"You actually learned something. I'm impressed... it just took a few blows to the head for you to listen..." Starlight said with a snide tone.
That angered Colette, making her sucker punch Star. The two continued to brawl in mid-air, while the others tried to aid Star as best they can.
"How's it coming along?..."Danny asked, urging Misty to hurry with the magical miracle.
"I'm still working on it!..."Misty said as she mixed the bull's meat and the other ingredients together, forming a strange, purple looking liquid.
"Come on...come on!..."Misty said, motioning her hand impatiently as if to make the potion hurry.
The purple liquid started to show signs of glowing, which she took as a good sign but everyone else is getting impatient.
"How is it not done yet?!..." Valerie asks, firing more at Colette.
"This is the first time I've done this! It's not like I know exactly how it works!..." Misty snapped.
"That's comforting!..."Jazz said sarcastically, and Misty frowned.
"You're free to take over, if you want to!..."Misty said sarcastically to her.
"Enough! Misty, how much longer?..."Danny asked, seeing Star kicked into a wall.
He wanted this over and done with before she got seriously hurt, and before Colette tried to get her grubby hands all over him again.
"I need a few minutes for it to cool down and then dip the necklace into it..."Misty said as she pulled the necklace out.
However, it was then pulled out of her grasp by telekinesis, entering the hand of who was using said power.
"I shall take that!..."Colette said as she examined it as she flew out of reach of the dark haired girl.
"Hey, give that back!..."Misty shouted, only to be shot by Colette near her feet making her stop.
The villainess merely scoffed.
"No, I don't think so! In face, I do believe that a magnifique, one of a kind accessory like this looks MUCH better on me than some peasant like you!..."Colette said as she placed the necklace on, she could feel the power surging.
Colette then used her powers and then produced a full length mirror in front of her, shocking the heroes when they saw this.
"Since when can she do that?!..."Starlight asked, pushing off the wall.
She was surprised at the new yet familiar looking new ghost power her bratty stepsister has. A power she hadn't demonstrated prior to this, yet she did it with ease.
However, Colette ignored her and admired her visage while she looked at her "new" necklace.
"I was right...zhis glorious necklace looks SO MUCH better on me..."She said, laughing arrogantly as held it in her hand while ogling herself in her reflection.
It was then her body glowed a light blue, like the necklace, before she began to turn bright red.
"Uh, what's going on?!..." Sam asked, sounding like she didn't really want an answer.
"Oh no, I was afraid of this!..."Misty said, appalled while she pulled away.
"What is it?..." Sam asked, not liking where this is going.
"The necklace granted her wish, so it must be more powerful if she's physically interacting with it..." Misty explained.
"So, this is the source of mon's power, eh? Now I want to keep it even more!..."Colette said, grinning at her new accessory.
She mentally made plans, while the surrounding area and atmosphere changed to fit her sinister mind.
"What are you doing?!..."Sam exclaimed, feeling the floor shake beneath her.
"Vhatever I want! A girl like moi could get used to having this much power and what it can do!..."Colette said as et all the power go to her head.
She then fired at her, intending to end her. Sam barely had time to escape as the blast made a hole in the wall.
"This is SO MUCH worse than the time she stole my sapphire earrings and "lost" them!..."Starlight grumbled as she flew in to tackle Colette from behind.
However, Colette countered in time, swinging her leg and kicking her away. She then smirked, feeling the power surge through her.
She liked it, and this power gave her several ideas.
"I think that it's time to change this backwater town and improve it to something much more towards my standards! And it's time to get rid of some of the undesirable places!..."She said as used her powers and the necklace to enhance herself as she felt a huge wave of power wash over her.
Her grin growing more wickedly as she gets more powered up, feeling herself more powerful with each passing second.
"Uh... what's happening now?..." Starlight asked, as Colette began to glow brighter.
She felt herself getting larger and more powerful as she used her newly enhanced power she shot out of the hotel. Many windows were cracked and some even scattered from the energy. With a deep breath, she took in just how powerful she became.
"I am an actual goddess! I'm far above anyone, even Papa and Mama!..."She said, laughing maniacally before looking at Amity Park from above, looking at it with disdain.
"Not only with this power, I shall take my destined love as we make things right and stand above everyone and everything...but I will also take my destined place as a goddess among these tiny people...and do whatever I want!..."Colette said, her power corrupting her more and more.
"And I do think that it is time to change this little backwatered village into a paradise that I deserve, something befitting and what I am meant to rule over..."She said as she began to lose her sense of reality, replaced with her growing god complex.
She then charged both of her hands in a dark red light. She already had it in mind as she formed constructs that were small, but based on the buildings in Amity Park.
"She can do that too?..."Tucker questioned, before received no answer as the would-be villainess continued her actions.
"Let's begin! No more of anything that does not fit my world! No more library...no more cheap peasant mall...no more Nasty Burger...no more school..."Colette said, grinning evilly as she destroyed the ecto-constructs of these buildings.
"And speaking of education, I think it is high time that the commoners do something useful with their lives. They must learn to obey me!..."Colette said as the necklace's power was humming in her hands as she created ecto construct of followers, who even bowed to her.
She grinned, clearly wanting more and more of this.
"I shall rule over this nowhere town and stomp those who are beneath me! Especially Estelle and everyone else who has wronged me!..."She said, as she swung her hands and waves of dark red energy flowed out.
She crushed a construct of Star with a wicked grin, laughing madly as the power clouded her mind more and more, continuing her damaged mindset.
"Everyone shall be slaves to fashion and culture! They must dress how I dictate. The horrid dress code will be improved forever. and so called "independence" will be nothing but a distant memory...and Estelle will be nothing more than a scullery maid to the new queen of Amity Park before I crush her like the very insect she is!..."Colette said, before laughing wickedly in a derange manner akin to any villain.
Until someone threw an empty soda can at her and it hit her face. It was Danny, who was trying to put a stop to her madness.
"Enough! Those powers and that necklace is clouding your mind!..."Danny said, trying to shout some sense into her.
The villainess sent him an irritated look, as she vanished her ecto-constructs in favor of looking at him.
"I am perfectly sane, Mon Amore. Now, I do suggest that you apologize and swear your eternal love and loyalty to me...or I just might misplace my high heel boots on you..."Colette said, as she threatened to literally put him under her heel...or worse.
"How about none of the above?!..."Danny shouted, scowling at her with much anger in his voice.
"Wrong answer!..."The angry Colette said, as she proceeded to reach down and grabbed him with her glow red hand in his direction.
However, a kick to the head made her let Danny go.
"Don't touch him!..." Starlight shouted.
"I'll remind him who is in charge after I'm rid of you!..."Colette snarled at her.
Colette punched Starlight with enough force to launch her through the floor. Misty saw all the damage that Colette has caused and she felt a wave of guilt fill her entire body.
"Oh, this is all my fault!..."She bemoaned, covering her masked face as her tears were being soaked into the fabric.
"Yes, it is..."Sam muttered, getting looks and stares from the rest of Team Phantom.
"What, you expect me to say some bull like it's not?..."She snarked, being painfully honest.
"Time and place!..." Tucker stated, reminding her of the situation that they are currently dealing with.
Before Sam could argue, a powerful gust of air came from their foe, who was cackling. Starlight was sent flying from a hit and crashed into a wall.
"Starlight!..."Danny shouted as he ran to her and helped her up, while the villainess kept laughing like a deranged lunatic.
"Yes, This power is amazing! More, I want more!..."Colette declared, sounding more insane by the minute.
Danny frowned, getting desperate right now.
"Misty, can you still cast any spells? Even without the necklace?..."He asked, begging at this point.
"I can with my spell book, why?..."Misty asked.
"I need you to cast some smoke screen or something, so that we can escape..."Danny said, having his own plan ready.
"Huh?..."Misty wondered.
"No time for questions, just do it and then we can work on the next step..."He said urgently.
Misty was confused, but decided to listen to her crush. She pulled out her spell book and found the spell that she was looking for.
"Fēng hé shuǐ, wǒ mìnglìng nǐ. Xíngchéng wùqì!..."Misty said, hands and eyes glowing green.
Colette saw this and frowned.
"Vhat are you doing?!..."She demanded, but it was too late.
A pure white mist appeared and covered the entire area, making it impossible for anyone to see.
"VHAT IS THE MEANING OF THIS?!..."Colette exclaimed, but she could no longer see anything.
"Danny, where are you?..."Misty said as she coughed, unable to see anything either.
Unknown to her, Danny used this opportunity to change into his ghost form and quickly split into four copies.
"Starlight!..."Danny said, as he found her first.
"Glad to see you, Boo..."Starlight said, relieved that he can now fight with that brat being none the wiser.
"Not as much as I am to see you, Starlight..."Danny said, making her smile before they went back to work.
They both changed into copies, located their friends and phased them out of the danger zone before the smoke cleared out.
"Let's go!..." All the duplicates said in unison.
Once the smoke cleared up, Colette saw that she was all alone.
She got angry.
"VHERE DID THEY GO?!..."She shouted, ready to throw a tantrum.
A few moments later
The heroes were now half a mile from the hotel, atop the rooftop of another shop, now being far away and safe from any more harm
"Is everyone okay?..."Danny asked, checking to see if anyone got hurt.
"We're okay, dude..."Tucker said, giving off a thumbs up
"Cool..."Danny said, relieved.
Misty was shocked to see the ghost boy, having arrived suddenly. She felt a little flustered from being so close to him, but didn't know why exactly.
"Danny Phantom? But how did you even know we were in danger?!..."Misty asked, looking to see him around.
"Starlight here called me. So, I rushed down here as quickly as I could..."Danny explained, lying through his teeth.
Misty blinked, before noticing that someone was absent here.
"Wait, where's Danny? The other Danny? The cute one with black hair?..."Misty asked, worried about his well-being before getting a glare from Starlight.
"Oh, him? I...I figured that it wasn't safe for him so I made one of my copies send him to straight back to Fenton Works, since he's the one in most danger around Colette. So, there's no need to worry about him..."Danny lied.
"But how did Star even contact you when-..."Misty tried, but Starlight cut her off.
"We don't have time for stupid questions, we got a maniac that we STILL have to deal with, or did you forget?!..."Starlight reminded, pointing at Colette.
"Oh...right..."Misty said before something came to her.
She suddenly recalled a certain well-known fact about "Starlight Spirit" and she got angry.
"Hey, wait a minute! If Star and Starlight Spirit are the same, and you're the girlfriend to Danny Fenton, why does the media call you Danny Phantom's girlfriend?..."Misty asked in an accusing way.
Danny's eyes shot in a panic.
"She knows your identity?!..."Danny exclaimed, while his girlfriend sighed.
"I'll explain later, after we get rid of the Wicked Witch of Amity Park..."Starlight said, before turning to a glaring Misty.
"I knew that you weren't good for Danny if you can't even be faithful to just one person by that name. I mean seriously, you'd actually cheat on a great guy like Danny Fenton with Danny Phantom? I know he's cute too but have you no shame? Some people..."Misty said, scowling at her.
Everyone, including Danny, blinked once it sunk in that she still didn't see the obvious clue and that she jumped to the wrong conclusion.
"Even with knowing Star's secret, she STILL can't make the connection. Some smart girl..."The rest of the group thought while Starlight roller her eyes and groaned.
"Misty, stop before you hurt yourself jumping to conclusions. Just do your part and help us get rid of Princess Pain-in-the-butt!..."Starlight said, pointing to her cauldron.
"Right..." Misty said, sounding just an unhappy to work with her as Star is. "But don't think this is over..."She grumbled.
Starlight rolled her eyes, while Danny sighed.
"Why do I get the feeling that we're gonna deal with an even bigger headache later?..."He thought, not looking forward to this.
However, that tension came to an end as Colette appeared, looking peeved off.
"YOU FOOLS CANNOT ESCAPE IMPÉRATRICE ROYALE POLTERGEIST!..."Colette declared.
"Really, you're calling yourself THAT now?!..."Starlight snarked, finding it even worse than the last one.
"Yes, and I intend to keep this one. I realize that it fits me perfectly like a pair of designer gloves..."Colette said smugly, hands at her hips.
"Let's see if my FIST fits perfectly to your face!..."Starlight shouted, flying in to punch her.
"Or if my BOOT fits just right on the back of your head!..."Danny said, gaining attention from the villainess.
"Danny Phantom? When did you arrive here and where is Mon Danny? The cuter, weaker, more malleable one that I intend to mold into the perfect man?..."Colette demanded.
"Weak?! Malleable?!..."Danny thought, infuriated, while Starlight scolded at her.
"He's far away from you and we're not telling you where he is!..."Starlight declared, eye glowing in rage.
"We shall see about that. I guess I will have to MAKE you tell me where he is before I destroy you!..."Colette said, her eyes glowing a brighter red before someone came in close.
"Hands of the prettiest girl in the area!..."Danny said, eyes glowing in rage but the villainess just scoffed.
"You wouldn't dare hit a gorgeous girl like moi wou-..."Colette said, only to receive a kick in the gut from Danny.
The ghost boy smirked.
"Not gonna lie, that felt good..."Danny said to Starlight, who grinned at what she just saw.
"I know what you mean..."Starlight said as she punched that brat in the jaw and threw her by pulling her hair and swinging her away.
Colette growled and swung her arms wildly like an anime character.
"You shall pay for that!..."She shouted, glaring at the ghost boy and her rival.
"Bill us later, we'll see if we can spare some change!..."Danny quipped before blasting her.
Colette hit the ground, too late to notice the two coming in close and assaulting her with a storm of fists. While Danny and Starlight fought off "IMPÉRATRICE ROYALE POLTERGEIST", which they both found to be VERY cathartic.
"This went from the worst day of my life to the best in an instant..."Danny said, smiling as he kept firing blasts at the biggest pain in his neck.
"I know what you mean..."Starlight said, finding this part of the ordeal enjoyable.
Their guards were dropped, allowing Colette to blast Starlight off.
"GET AWAY FROM ME!..."She shouted, snarling.
"Starlight?!..."Danny shouted in worry, while Colette became angrier and got on her feet.
She was now facing Phantom and she was without any patience.
"I shall make your afterlife a nightmare!..."She said, frowning at him.
"Sorry, but I must say, I'm happily taken..."Danny said, glaring at her before charging at her with fists ready.
They brawled for a few minutes. During the fight, Colette smirked as she took a moment to admire her foe. As much as he angered her, she noticed some traits about him that she found familiar.
"I must say, you do remind me quite a bit of MON Danny...and you are almost as good-looking as he is..."Colette said.
Fearing that she was onto him, Danny tried to dissuade her.
"I don't see it. I got a different looking chin..."He lied, sweating a bit.
Colette didn't seem to be listening, as she kept eyeing him in a way that made him uncomfortable.
"Hmmm...He is just as loyal to his blonde as Mon Amore is while Estelle has wrapped her finger around him. Perhaps this could be fun too..."She thought.
Colette smirked as she got an idea and figured she could infuriate another foe. As Danny got closer to attack her, Colette grabbed him by the collar,
"Hey, what are you-..."Danny was silenced when Colette pulled him in for a kiss.
Danny didn't have time react or think as it happened, freezing up before Starlight pushed him away to free him.
Colette saw this and frowned.
"Excusez moi? We were having a moment here..."She complained, mainly to get under the blonde heroine's skin.
"WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU DOING?!..."Starlight shouted, face red in fury.
Colette smirked, seeing that her tactic worked.
"That was my revenge for all the punching..."Colette said in a smug way while the ghost boy was still reacting to the unwanted kiss from the girl he hated most.
"YUCK! GROSS! POISON! I THINK I MIGHT ACTUALLY THROW UP! I NEED MOUTHWASH OR ACID!..."Danny shouted as he spat out the kiss and furiously rubbed his lips to the point where they almost began to bleed while he looked like he actually might become sick.
The villainess found this amusing and rather familiar.
"Oh, I see even you enjoy playing hard to get like Mon Danny...I am quite flattered..."Colette said, giggling fiendishly as she watched the ghost boy barely keep his lunch down.
However, she then realized something before pondering to herself.
"Strange, why did kissing him feel familiar? I feel like I did this before..."She wondered, puzzled before she shrugged and decided it wasn't worth thinking.
That's when a powerful stream hit her while she was unfocused, pushing her back.
"What is WRONG with you?!..." Danny shouted, feeling violated as he kept rubbing his lips to get the germs off.
Colette recovered and just smirked, acting like she didn't do anything wrong here.
"Even though my heart belongs only to Mon Amore Danny, I have admitted that you are attractive for a ghost, and I also know that it would absolutely kill that idiotic Paulina to know that you were taken by moi. Besides, I can always use some extra muscle to my new world order..."Colette said, deciding she could have two Dannys in her life.
"Maybe after I marry Danny and rule the world, I can make you mon's personal...man servant..."Colette said with some flirtatious undertone, though it was clearly un flattering to who heard it.
That enraged Danny even further and made his eyes glow with fierce intensity.
"NO TO ALL OF THE ABOVE!..."He shouted as he sent a huge ecto blast at her, making her react quickly.
"AAAAUUUGGGRRHHH!..."Colette screamed as she was hit, becoming frustrated further.
Before she could respond, Starlight pounced on her and began to yank of her hair and punch her in the face.
"YOU LOUSY, ROTTEN, UNFEELING, BOY STARVING, SHAMELESS LITTLE HUSSY! YOU JUST FORFEIT YOUR RIGHT TO LIVE!..."Starlight yelled as she kept striking her face, clearly trying to claw out her eyes and make her bleed.
"STOP THAT!..."Colette said, only to be met with more pain to her face.
"You! Have no! Idea! How! Much! Fun! This! Is!..." Starlight said, pausing with each punch.
That's when Colette's power grew with her rage.
"ENOUGH!..."Colette screamed as she used her power to release a shock wave, sending her enemies flying.
However, she was simmering with anger and smoke was practically emitting from her.
"I HAVE HAD ENOUGH OF THIS FOOLISHNESS!..."She said, throwing a tantrum.
"If only I could... wish you two away like I gained these powers..." Colette said, until it dawned on her.
Colette then got an idea and smirked.
"If I recall from what I hear... this magic necklace granted me my wish..." She thought, as she looked at her necklace while the gears in her head were turning.
"Why are you looking at it like that?..." Starlight asked, ready to go back to tearing her apart.
Before she got a chance to, the villainess spoke up again.
"Zhis is getting me nowhere, but I shall end this at once..."Colette said as she touched her necklace and held it tightly.
"What's she doing?!..."Danny asked, not liking this.
She knew exactly what to say.
"Glorious necklace of mine, I have a new wish to be granted by you. I wish for you to make Danny Fenton love me and ONLY me forever, and I also wish that you will make Danny Phantom my obedient little servant who will obey all of commands and ONLY my commands! And maybe 100 billion dollars and/or legal ownership of this country, whichever is sooner to claim!..."She said, horrifying the others.
"WHAT?!..."Danny shouted, horrified.
"I should have done this from the start, but at least I have it now..."Colette said, grinning evilly as she pointed at him.
"DANNY!..."Starlight exclaimed in worry, thinking the spell was done.
They expected him to glow. However, nothing happened and Danny just hovered in place, looking lost.
"Huh?..."The ghost boy thought, not feeling any different at all.
Colette didn't seem to notice, as she assumed that her wish was granted and that he was her slave now.
"Danny Phantom, as your new master, I order you to help me destroy Starlight Spirit and her minions..."She ordered, expecting him to obey her.
To her shock, Danny just made a face at her.
"I don't think so..."Danny said, as he sent an ecto blast at her instead.
With an angered gasp after hitting a wall, Colette looked at her necklace and became enraged.
"WHAT IS THIS STUPID THING AND WHY IS IT NOT WORKING?! WHY ISN'T IT GRANTING MY WISHES?!..."She demanded, shaking it furiously.
"Danny, you're okay?..." Starlight asked, as she went to check on him.
"I'm not under a spell, if that's what you mean..."Danny said, relieved that he still had his freewill.
The others turned to Misty, who just noticed them.
"Um...I'm not being ungrateful, but why didn't that necklace grant her wish?..."Starlight asked, not understanding.
Misty frowned with an eye roll.
"The wish is powered by my magic...and there is NO WAY that I'm letting that harpie get what she wants!..."Misty whispered to her, glaring daggers at Colette.
However, the villainess heard this and got furious.
"YOU! It was because you I got these powers, non? Then aid me! Grant me another wish!..."She demanded.
"Not a chance..."Misty said, while Colette fired a warning shot at her.
"Grant me my wish or so help me, you will die right after Estelle!..."Colette said, hands and eyes glowing in a deranged fashion.
Misty didn't budge.
"No one. One, you're not the boss of me and I don't take orders from spoiled brats or lunatics! And two, what you are wishing for is so outrageous, I don't physically have the power to grant it. So, you're out of luck, sister..."She said, arms crossed.
Colette got upset, but still refused to give up.
"Fine, I can live without the billions of dollars and ownership of the country! Just give me Danny Fenton and Danny Phantom already!..."Colette demanded.
"N-O! NO! I don't care what you do to me, I am NOT granting that wish! Danny Fenton deserves SO MUCH better than you and even Danny Phantom deserves better! So just give up, you witch!..."Misty said, refusing to budge.
Danny sighed in relief.
"I'm glad she's on our side right now..."He thought, relieved.
However, Colette became angrier to the point of her aura looking almost fiery.
"AHHHRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!..."Colette shrieked to almost deafening volume, while everyone covered their ears at how loud she was being.
"Oh man, is she trying to do a ghostly wail now?!..."Tucker asked in a panic as he covered his ears.
"No, this is how Colette ALWAYS screams when she throws her tantrums!..."Starlight muttered as she covered her ears, while the spoiled brat kept acting less like a villain and more like a spoiled child.
"ZHIS. IS. SO. NOT. FAIR!..."She shouted, before she grabbed her necklace, holding it with utter contempt and impatience.
"If you won't make Danny, Fenton or Phantom, love me and obey me... then I have no use for this or you!..."She said, looking deranged as she tore the necklace off her neck and threw it to the ground before her.
"Stop, what are you doing?!..."Misty tried, but it was too late.
With that, Colette crushed the necklace to pieces when she stomped on it, pressing her foot as hard as she could and twisted it to break the pieces even further.
"NO!..." Misty went, as she fell to her knees in shock, seeing their best chance at stopping her gone.
"There... now to make extra sure no one else tries any magic on me...Besides, if this thing can't grant my wishes anymore, it is WORTHLESS!..."The spoiled brat said in a mocking tone before aiming her hand.
Colette was about to fire on Misty, only for Danny Phantom to swing in and kick her, sending her flying through a wall.
"Oof!..." Colette went upon impact before getting up and scowling.
"Get lost, sweetheart! Before that necklace isn't the only thing that gets broken!..." Danny warned with his fist glowing.
The villainess glared at him, but decided that she had more important matters to deal with.
"Very well, I must find Mon Amore. Adieu..." She said before teleporting away from them.
Once she was gone, Misty was on her knees, panicking as she tried to gather the now broken pieces of the necklace.
"Oh no!..." Misty went, picking up the broken necklace. "Oh no oh no oh no!..."She went repeatedly, almost on the verge of a panic attack.
"What just happened?..." Danny asked, now completely lost on what she's upset about.
"She broke it! Without it, I can't break the spell and undo her powers!..." Misty said, presenting it to everyone.
"But... you can just get another one, right?..." Tucker asked, earning an indignant look from Misty.
"Oh yeah... I can totally get another one, that's why I'm so upset about it breaki-NO, I CAN'T GET ANOTHER ONE! THERE'S ONLY ONE ON THE ENTIRE PLANET AND IT'S IN PIECES!..." Misty shouted, dropping her sarcasm once her volume increased.
"Can't you fix it? I mean... you still got all the pieces, you could just hot glue them together..." Tucker pointed out with a nervous look on his face as Misty got on her feet.
"That's supposed to be a good idea?! If you had a puppy get torn apart and I said "I mean... you still got all the pieces, you could just hot glue them together"... would YOU think that was a good idea?!..."Misty questioned harshly with equal amounts of both sarcasm and annoyance in her tone.
"And no, I can't fix it, it's broken to tiny pieces!..."She added, knowing what he was going to ask next.
"Can't you make a new one?..." Sam asked, but Misty shook her head.
"No... because I don't know HOW it was made and it was made with stuff like meteorite debris, stuff I have NO access to right now! Plus, it was made almost 3 thousand years ago by one of my ancestors and I have no idea how the process was! Even if I knew what was used, it'd take days or weeks just to get them and I have no way to know how long it'd take to make a new one work!..."She said, on the verge of a breakdown right now.
"So... you can't undo the wish?..." Star asked, worried.
"Nor can we make a new one to cancel it out... Until she fulfills her wish, her powers are permanent..."Misty said, looking dreadful right now.
Suddenly, the mood became dour.
"So... nothing's gonna stop Colette? She'll have her powers until she wastes Star?!..." Danny asked, sounding horrified and worried for his girlfriend's fate.
"I mean, that wasn't the wording she used, but yeah..." Misty explained.
"Wording?..." Danny asked, asking her to elaborate.
"Well, her exact words were, and I'm quoting... "I wish I could personally get rid of Estelle Strong and Starlight Spirit at the same time", unquote. I'm realizing right now that she doesn't know they're one and the same, but still, the wish won't end until she gets rid of her..." Misty said, looking guilty for her role in this whole mess.
That got Danny thinking.
"So... if those are her exact words... then let's grant her that wish..." Danny said with a smile forming.
"Wait, what?..."Starlight asked.
"Well, Colette said that she just wanted to GET RID of Star and Starlight, right?..."Danny said with meaning and his girlfriend soon realized what he was getting at.
Everyone nodded along until Tucker himself stopped, lost at his words.
"I don't get it..." He said, much to everyone ire.
As everyone collectedly groaned, Danny motioned everyone to get closer.
"Here's my plan..."The ghost boy said, as he began to explain his idea.
And so he gave instructions on his plan, knowing it might be their next best shot at defeating her.

Here are my responses to your questions:
1) I guess my best advice is to just be patient, and maybe give responses to those reviews if you want to.
2) I think that she has changed for the better, going from a snobby genius to a loyal and loving sister and team mate.
3) I don't know. I am guess I am tied between Danny and Poindexter, since I think either of them would be more faithful than Johnny is.
4) When Jack and Maddie embarrassed Danny at the Nasty Burger in "Masters of all time".
5) Honestly, I think that Wulf would win due to being sentient and he'd be able to outsmart Cujo in a straight up fight.
