Hours has passed since the night of the celebration. The day started with a wonderful monday morning. Zen was still under his sheets while Zuko is busy focusing at his meditation until a knock on the door disturbed his peaceful focus. He stood up to get the door. "Hey! You must be the roommate of Eizen" Hatsuki excitedly stated, He grab Zuko's hand to shake it in a rowdy way. "My name is Hatsuki, I'm the captain of the soccer team. Pleased to meet you, now where is Zen?" He said it in one breathe. Zuko was bewildered by this beast then he pointed towards the guy in the sheet, still sleeping.
Hatsuki excused for his intrusion then barged in the room. He shaked Zen violently to wake him up but Hatsuki stopped when he saw Zen glared at him "You wanna die?" Zen told furiously the older guy who stiffened and very intimidated. Jiro came quickly and apologize to Zen and Zuko for how Hatsuki acted. "Sorry Zen and Zen's roommate. His just really excited and no one can contain him. I'm impressed by you Zen" He laughed awkwardly. He turned to Hatsuki who was still frozen at that point and whispered "I told you not to mess with Zen when he is asleep."
He turned to Zen and apologetically smiles. Zen ruffles his hair and came down from his bed. He turned to Zuko "Sorry for my teammates Zuko." Zuko sat down and shook his head "No worries, I was done with my morning routine anyway." Zen nodded at the older guy. He sat at the floor, in front of his 2 teammates who were clearly scared of him. He touched his chin "What should I do with you?" He asked in an evil tone. The two quickly bowed to Zen "We're very sorry!". Ze laughed at Jiro and Hatsuki's actions "I'm just kidding. I'm not going to kill you, but next time, when you wake me up. Wake me up nicely." The two nodded quickly.
"So why are you two here?" Zen asked the two. "Well, the team is having a celebration today for winning the first game!" Zen looked at them blankly. "You could have just said it in the group chat." The two looked at each other. "Well It's just us and our defender Phil." Jiro scratched the back of his head. Zen raised a brow in confusion "Why?" Hatsuki looked away shyly "We wanted to get to know you more."
Zen shrugged his shoulders "You could have just asked me to hang out. No need to tell me it's a celebration y'know?" Both guys gleamed up "So you're going?" Both asked at the same time and Zen nodded."What time and where? You can text me the address." He stood up and showed the 2 the way out. After the are out Zen immediately got a message containing the details for later. He grabbed his towel and wash up. He and Zuko grabbed breakfast at the cafeteria inside the dorm. Aang and Sokka also grabbed breakfast. The four of them ate together. "Do you guys know the band, The Unknown?" Sokka took a big bite from his food. Zen looked at Sokka "The what again?" asking to repeat what he said."The Unknown, It's gonna play next month here at the Downtown." He passed the flier to Zen who is in shocked.
Sokka squinted his eyes towards Zen "You're acting suspicious. Do you know them?" Zen looked at Sokka spaced out "What? oh no no no" he tried to smile at the older guy. "Doesn't they rock? The Unknown, I mean. They started when they were in highschool and now they are widely known." Aang stated. while finishing his pudding. "I saw their concert once when my cousin Mako got tickets. It was the concert held in the summer fest last summer." Zuko now stated. Sokka looked at the guy "Were they cool? and good??" Zuko scoffed "They were the best." Zen was spaced out at the entire conversation.
Meanwhile at the girl's dormitory. Toph, Katara and Suki was eating breakfast when Suki brought up the topic "So, do you guys know the band, The Unknown? They are very well known for their good music and being unknown." This peaked the interest of the two girls "We're listening" Sukki finished her last bite, she shoved her tray aside and came closer to the two. "They started when they were in highschool. All of them were all boys but suddenly one day. The guy, the lead singer became girl. Rumor has it that the guy went missing and some say that guy became a girl. None of them spoke anything about this. They always seem toavoid the topic when it arises. Well anyway, they are playing next month at the downtown." Suki handed the fliers to the girls. "What a mysterious band, I get why they're called The Unknown" Katara said while looking at the fliers. "I'm not gonna miss this" Toph said with determination. "Well I need to go. I still have 1 class today with Ms. Killjoy" Toph groaned and got up.
The girls discuss some theories about the band but nothing really matches up. They stopped when Suki recieved a phone call from Sokka.
"Yes Sokka?" -Suki put it on speaker.
"Hey Suki, I was gonna inform you that Zen invited us for a boys night out with some other soccer teammates of Zen" - Sokka
"Oh, Alright." - Suki
"Suki don't believe him! he's just gonna go out with girls!!" - Zen pranks Sokka.
"Hey!! Zen stop it! I'm not!!" - Sokka tells Zen to back off.
Suki could hear the others laughing at the background.
"Suki, Don't believe what Zen said okay? I'm not gonna see other girls." Sokka reassures Suki
"Okay okay, Text me when you get there and when you get home okay?" Suki told Sokka laughing at Zen's prank.
After dropping the call. "Zen is really a rowdy one" Suki putting her phone inside her bag. "He really is, I could see him as a child playing pranks on everyone" Katara giggles. Suki tries to bait Katara into a trap "So speaking of boys, You have anyone you're interested?" Katara immediately thought of Zen. She shook her head but still couldn't get Zen off of her mind. Suki gave another bait "E seems good" Katara thought of the name Eizen. Once again she shook it off. "How bout S for the last name?" Katara thought of Zen's surname Shintaro. She slams her head at the table, Suki got surprised at Katara's action. Katara hope she wouldn't thought of him but it didn't work.
She closed her eyes in defeat "Yes.. I'm interested in someone" Suki squealed once Katara confessed. "It's Zen isn't it?" Suki grinned. Katara was shocked by how Suki knew so quickly. Suki noticed this and explained "Katara, you and Zen looks like lovers if we aren't your friends. Beside I didn't say any random letters.I knew you liked him from the start when you told me he's goodlooking and cute and you were kinda interested in him" Katara groaned "Was I too obvious? Do you think he knows??" Katara wonders. "You are too obvious but I don't know if he notices, he is kinda dense when it comes to this. Remebers last 3 weeks ago? When the girl was sending him water for practice and he just told us 'Nah she told me she was just supporting me' Then the next day the girl confessed to him but he was so shocked?" Suki shook her head in disbelief. Katara sighs in relief thinking fortunately he is dense when it comes to this topic. "Let's go out later tonight at Billy chilli, since the boys are out for tonight" Suki invited Katara and texted Toph the plan for later.
Night came and the guys went to Billy Chilli. They sat at one side. Orders Chillis and some food. They spend the night talking about anythin. Until a girl came closer "Is that you Zen?" Zen eyes widened from hearing a familiar voice. "Aira?" Zen stood up from his seat but Aira immediately jumps at Zen's arms squealing. "It is you!!" Zen closed his eyes and wrapped his arms around the girl. "Hey.." He say softly.
Katara, Suki and Toph came in, They grab their table. Toph looking at the table who was the familiar hair and voices. She noticed they were near the boys' table. "Hey isn't that the guys?" Katara and Suki sat and glance over where Toph pointed. "That's them, Let's see if Sokka is telling the truth about not looking for girls" Suki affirmed and grinned. A little while a girl came at the boys' table. Both older girls gazed at them. They heard the girl speak. Katara's eyes widened when she heard her. "Is that you Zen?" Katara heard Zen's voice "Aira?" Suki was now looking at Katara who is shocked. Katara shook it off Maybe she is just an old friend of his. They saw Zen stood up and the girl threw herself at Zen's arms. Katara's eyes widened once again.
"It is you!!" Katara's thoughts went wild, when Zen wrapped his arms around the girl. Soon they removed theirselves from each others arms. Sokka who was curious asked "Zen, Buddy who's she?" Zen scratched the back of his head "She's my Ex-girlfriend" Laughing awkwardly. Katara choked on her drink then Zen turned around "Katara?" Suki patted the back of the girl. Katara faced Zen "Hey? What a coincidence.." He rose his brow ".. Yeah. Wanna join us?" Toph interrupted the two "This hot chick was your girlfriend SleepyAce?!" Zen nodded "Yeah, why?" Aira giggled by how Toph used Hot chick on her. "She's smoking hot! How come you break up with her?" Toph asked Zen.
"Uhh she uhm" Zen's words wouldn't come out then he looked at Aira. She nodded "I cheated on him" She said embarrassed. The rest of them was shocked. "How could you cheat on SleepyAce, Hotchick? Have you seen his face?? Do you know how many girls have been wishing to be with him??" Zen stopped Toph "Okay Toph you can stop now" He was clearly getting embarrassed. "Yeah I know. I know how much I wasted for dirtbag. That's why I'm here to make it up with him." She smiled at Zen apologetically.
Katara snapped at the girl. "What do you mean make up with him? After you cheat on him on someone else? After you hurt him, you thinkyou could just barge into his lif-" Zen covered Katara's mouth "Katara, relax. I got this." He turned to Aira "Look, Iforgive you for cheating on me but I'm so-" Before Zen could finish. Aira cupped his face and pulled him into a kiss. The others were jawdropped and Katara was ready to punch the girl. Zen quickly pushed her. "What is your problem!? Man!" Aira started crying "I'm sorry Zen, please just give me another chance"
Zen was looking up trying to calm down. "Aira? wait Zen?!?" A guy's voice is now heard. Zen turned around and saw his bestfriend "Nate! What's up man?" Zen ran to the guy. "We're good! The band's performing here next month!" Nate told him "I heard about it from my friend! So the girl who replaced me is Mia right?" Zen asked. Nate just nodded "How bout you come back to the band man? We could do tours around the world.Travelling from coast to coast." Zen shook his head "Nah. Sorry man. I want to stay here much more than I want to go with you guys." Zen looked at Katara who was still processing what is happening. Nate smiled sadly "I wish you luck with that blue eyed girl" Zen felt his blood rushing up "Shut up man..." The two laughed.
They moved to a bigger table where Zen explained that he was the founder of the band named The Unknown. Later left the band due to family problems and focused on his soccer career. A while later the soccer team, Nate and Aira decided to call it a night. The ones left there was the gang. "What a crazy night!" Sokka chugging down his beer. "And a crazy girl.." Aang shivers recalling how crazy Aira is for Zen. Zen shivers as well when he remembers the kiss. Katara was pissed off. Suki had a plan "So Zen, I've been waiting for months for your answer at Katara's question" Zen looks at the girl while drinking his beer. "What question?"
"Who are you interested in?" Zen choked by how direct Suki is. Sokka looked at Zen and Suki back and forth. He grabbed Zen's arm and took him away. Once they turned at the corner he questioned Zen "Who are you interested in? Is it Suki? No she's off limits Bro!" Zen sighed "I'm not interested in Suki, Sokka. Relax" When he was about to walk back Sokka didn't let him "Then tell me who!"
"Katara..." Zen looked down and mumbled. Sokka didn't heard him "Who?" he asked him to repeat what he said. Zen ran his hand through his hair "Katara. Your sister" Zen was now turning red. Sokka blinked a few times to process it then he blasted like a volcano "YOU ARE WHAT? NO! I WON'T ALLOW IT!!"
This is gonna be a pain in the ass. Zen thought. "Relax. I don't even plan on confessing." Zen told the older guy as he walks back at the table. He sat and told them "It's a secret." but Suki was determined "Is it in our gang?" Zen looked at her then Sokka "Why are you so interested in who I'm interested in?" Zen now wondering. Suki stopped "Uhm well uhh you know what nevermind" She chuckled.
"Who are you interested in?" Now it was Katara who asked. Zen was petrified. "You guys! stop asking Zen this questions and let him b-" Sokka sank at his seat when he saw his sister's glare. "Who?" She repeats. Zen calmed down then looked at her. He flicked her forehead "Stop it, Idiot" then smiled softly for her. She gave up and blushed while touching where he flicked her.
