Harry's not sure what his brain was doing as it tried and failed to fully comprehend that Mrs Parker wasn't upset about him being a wizard. She was only 'a little shocked' as Tony had put it. Shocked because her other nephew was enhanced. He still didn't fully get that concept.

"Tony." Mrs Parker shot a glare towards the man, gently releasing Harry's shoulders.

"Well it wasn't like he wouldn't notice his cousin likes to climb on ceilings." Tony pointed out. His cousin liked to what now?

"He-he climbs on ceilings? Without magic?" Harry found himself unable to ask. "Like a-like a spider?" He didn't miss the amused look on the man's face as he nodded.

"Exactly like a spider." He grinned. "Want to see a picture?"

"Yeah." Harry nodded before he could stop himself.

"Tony." Mrs Parker interrupted before he managed to get a picture pulled up. "I don't think Peter would appreciate you giving away his identity like that." Her tone was back to icy. Tony rolled his eyes.

"You think he'll hide it the moment he finds out his cousin can do magic?" Tony asked, he could practically hear Peter's excited babble about being Spider-man now but reluctantly put his phone away. Another time, maybe.

"But I can't do any outside of school... It's against magical law." He pointed out.

"Well, that's a buzz kill." Tony sighed. "Too bad. What happens if you break it? A bunch of wizard cops swarm the place and take you to wizard prison?"

"Well I-I'd probably get expelled from school. It's a violation of the decree of under aged wizards and in front of a muggle-er non-magical person it's a violation of the statute of secrecy." Harry tried to explain, Tony offered a small nod.

"You don't know, do you?"

"I did get an owl-Er we use Owls to send letters and things-from the ministry last year threatening to expel me if I used magic outside of Hogwarts again. But it wasn't me that used it-it was a house elf and I sort of got the blame for it." Harry explained, slowing down when he noticed the lost looks on both Mrs Parker and Tony's face.

"Okay. There's about ten things you said there I'm gonna have to question you on-but first and foremost-"

"What do you mean you got the blame for it?" Mrs Parker cut in. "They just didn't believe you? Did they even consider you were telling the truth?" Harry had to think about it a moment before he just shook his head.

"N-no.. well they knew someone had done magic at my uncle's house and since I was the one living there they just sort of assumed and sent the owl warning me not to use magic outside of school again." Mrs Parker seemed to be silently fuming over the injustice of it all.

"Question." Tony caught his attention again. "How did 'they' know magic had been used but didn't know it wasn't you?"

"Oh. Well I.. don't really know. I suppose they can just sort of detect when magic is used in a muggle-er-nonwizarding area." Harry admitted. Tony thought it over and scratched at the back of his head.

"Okay, that might complicate my plans. You think they can track you now? I need to know just in case we get ambushed or something." Harry frowned. Honestly, he didn't know. He'd never really thought about it. Could the ministry track him even now? He'd lost control yesterday and accidentally exploded that wine glass but really if they were going to expel him they would have done it, right?

"I don't know. I suspect they'd have some way of finding me if they knew I was missing. Which, The Dursleys hate me and they hate magic so it's unlikely they would have reported anything." he explained. "To tell the truth, I didn't even know I was a wizard until I was eleven. They weren't going to tell me-they wanted to 'squash' it out of me."

"I'm sorry you had to deal with that." Mrs Parker said soothingly. Tony had seemed to go dangerously quiet as he considered the words and the hidden meaning in them.

"...Squash it out of you, how , exactly?" Tony asked, a dangerous edge in his voice. Harry closed his mouth and offered a small shrug. He wasn't sure why he did it, it wasn't like he owed the Dursleys anything. "Yeah, that's what I was afraid of. So I take it there's no… wizard CPS?"

"What's-"

"Child protective services." Mrs Parker supplied. "Their job is to make sure children have a safe, and healthy home life."

"Oh.. I suppose not then." Harry answered. If that kind of thing existed for the muggles though then how come no one had looked into the Dursleys when he was going to muggle school? Maybe it wasn't as bad as he'd thought and maybe Mrs Parker was mistaken about it being abuse.

"Well, you may want to think about mentioning it to them." Tony offered. "They clearly need one. Anyways, breakfast?" He changed the subject, leaving Harry feeling like he'd just gotten a bit of emotional whiplash.

oooOOOoo

May had two more days before she had to go back to work-three if you took into account her shift started at nine in the evening. Day three had been reserved for recovering from the jet lag but now she was either going to be home sooner than she expected or later than she expected. It was starting to grate on her anxiety a little that she didn't know and Tony didn't seem to either. The problem was he also didn't seem too concerned about it and focused his attention on talking to the kid.

She shouldn't mind it but she really did have places she had to be in a few days and Tony seemed to have forgotten that she was on time crunch and a budget and they hadn't really talked too much about papers to get Harry to Queens at the very least. She was happy to hear Harry talking about the 'wizarding community' and even liked hearing about his school and all his friends.

She really needed a more concrete plan to work off. Once that was in place she'd enjoy talking to her newly acquired kid about his life much, much more. She could only hope that maybe Tony was working miracles in the background.

"So, good news." Tony announced as they were finishing up an expensive breakfast that he'd insisted on. "The fact that you don't seem to have any official records past fourth grade coupled with the fact May is technically a relative means it'll be relatively easy to get a judge to sign over guardianship to May Parker. See what I did there?" He asked playfully.

May rolled her eyes at his antics but was secretly glad he seemed to have read her mind. Glad and a little weirded out.

"Anyways." Tony continued. "It's enough to look like neglect but the bad news is, you do need to get some shots before I can take you stateside." He told Harry.

"Oh… I guess that's okay?" He didn't look thrilled with the idea but at least his face didn't pale at the very thought like would have happened with her other nephew.

"Good. Then we'll get that taken care of when we leave here, I'll get travel documents rushed through and then we'll talk to the judge tomorrow so Aunt May can be back at work and saving lives on the tenth."

Oh good, a timeline to work with. May nearly sighed in relief. She still needed to tell Peter about this but she'd wait until it was a little later than five am to call him.

She found herself wondering why they were getting travel documents first as she's fairly certain a guardian has to sign consent if a minor wanted a passport. Perhaps that was where Tony's 'throw money at it' mindset entered into the plan. They finished up with breakfast and May noted that Harry hadn't finished much of his eggs and toast. May had told him that for now, she only wanted him eating bland foods. If he'd been starved, and it looked like he had been, she didn't want him to risk anything with too much flavor that could upset his stomach. Her anxious brain also worried about refeeding syndrome but she kept that fear to herself.

During the remainder of breakfast, Tony had stepped away one or two times and May desperately wanted to know what the conversations were as she was sure it had to do with Harry. Tony finished his cup of coffee and then announced it was time to see someone about those shots.

May soon realized how lucky they had been that no one in the restaurant had noticed them-or more accurately, no one had noticed Tony Stark. The luck ran out quickly and while they were at the doctor's office Tony was bombarded by no less than four different people, all asking for autographs and selfies.

"Look, I'm not here for a press conference." Tony told one of them as he lazily scribbled his name on a piece of paper. "And as much as I like the attention, I have things I'm working on today so please give me some space." After the fifth person approached, Tony finally got fed up and told May he'd call to catch up with her later and he had a few other things to take care of.

Once he'd left, and Harry and May were seated in the waiting area of the clinic, Harry chanced leaning a little closer to her, keeping his voice down and sounding almost embarrassed before he risked asking her a question.

"Is he… famous?" He chanced asking. May looked up from a game she was playing on her phone and it took her a moment longer to realize what he'd meant.

"Hm? Oh! You mean Tony? Well, yes." She wasn't quite sure how to approach this. How could he not know that Tony Stark was famous? Calling attention to the fact he should know but didn't would probably upset Harry and make him feel isolated so she had to avoid that as best she could. "At the risk of inflating his ego, he's a superhero. Have you heard of Iron Man or the Avengers?"

Harry paused to think about it and then shook his head. Odd, May packed that information away for later.

"Harry Potter?" A nurse called out once he'd stepped out into the waiting area. May put her phone away, took the young wizard's hand and gently led him over to the nurse for his exam.

Tony did not intend for this to take long. He intended to have May back in Queens well before she'd planned to be so she could get plenty of rest. However, he knew that everything moving quickly would require Harry's relatives to relinquish guardianship. With or without his resources, a trial would eat more time than May had time for.

He snagged a couple of lawyers from a prestigious law firm and a promising custody lawyer and within a few hours he had a mostly legal plan to get Harry to Queens with May.

Two hours and a disturbing phone call from the clinic later, Tony found himself at number four Private Drive with Ms Alice Lewelen, one of his new lawyers. He'd taken the time to change into one of his three piece suits and signature sunglasses. He was here on business today so he needed to exude the ruthless businessman side of himself. And as any ruthless businessman knew to get the result you wanted you had to hit the competition where it hurt. He wrapped sharply on the door and didn't have to wait too long before a boney woman with blonde hair opened the door.

He watched her face pale and eyes widen as recognition set in. Good, she recognized him. He'd had some concerns about that since Harry obviously hadn't.

"Mrs Dursley?" He prompted.

"Yes?" She answered, pulling the door open some more.

"I'm sure you know who I am and this-" He gestured to his lawyer. "-Is Ms Alice Lewelen. Can we come in?" Petunia seemed to consider it but after a brief moment she agreed. The fact she was so hesitant told Tony she already knew what this was about.

Tony noticed the moment he'd walked in the house that there was no good reason Harry had been dressed in clothes far too large, or had broken glasses or had been as thin as he was. May's suspicions were right on the money.

"Would you like some tea?" Petunia Dursley offered, remembering her manners as she led them into the kitchen where Mr Dursley, their son and another woman sat. Tony noted the bruise near the woman's mouth that looked fresh and felt a swill of pride.

"Tony Stark?" Vernon barked in surprise as the man entered the kitchen.

"Good. You know who I am." Tony waved it off. "Let's get this over with, I don't want to be here any longer than I have to." He started, his tone sharp and annoyed.

"Get what over with?" Vernon asked carefully. Tony chanced a smirk.

"To put it simply, you're being sued." He announced, trying not to enjoy the collective gasp that came from that revelation. Then again, these people had terrorized a child for god knows how long so maybe he could allow himself to be just a little pleased at their fear. "I'm here to tell you that I'm financing your nephew's lawsuit against you to the tune of three hundred million. Plus emotional damages."

He definitely enjoyed the way their faces paled.

"S-sued. You can't come into my house and-" Vernon started, his voice rising.

"Oh, I assure you I can." Tony stated, unmoved by Dursley's attempt to intimidate him. "Ms Lewelen and I have all the paperwork drawn up and I'll be suing you on your nephew's behalf."

"You don't want to throw your lot in with him." Vernon growled as though the preteen were some vile thing. "You have no idea what a fre-"

"I'm gonna stop you right there." Tony held his hand up in a pacifying manner while the lawyer pulled the papers out of her briefcase. "You finish that question and I'm going to punch you in the face." the billionaire paused for a moment. "No, I'm sorry, because that wouldn't get my point across. You finish that question and I activate my gauntlet and blast you in the face." He threatened.

"Three hundred…" Petunia stuttered as the situation seemed to register. "We don't even have that much." She pointed out. Tony just allowed himself to shrug.

"You probably should've thought about that before you started beating up a kid, huh?" He pressed, not even slightly sympathetic. "Or, we could settle this in a different way."

oooOOOooo

Harry thoroughly enjoyed his time out with Mrs Parker even if she fussed over him constantly. Honestly, there was a part of him that liked the fussing. She was constantly asking if he was hungry, if he needed anything, and if he needed a break.

After the trip to the doctor and a few vaccines and xrays later, he and Mrs Parker went to get lunch. It wasn't nearly as extravagant a place as where they'd gotten breakfast and she still insisted on ordering his food for him. The doctor she'd talked to had brought up a special diet plan she wanted to see Harry on and Mrs Parker had agreed without hesitation.

His new diet consisted of some very watered down juice called Pedialyte and mostly whole grain foods. He was also given a mild painkiller for bruises on his ribs that he'd kind of forgotten about. He worried briefly about whether he should be taking muggle medication since he was, in fact, a wizard but Mrs Parker had had that same thought and assured him she'd only give it to him on an as needed basis and not until they knew it was safe for him to take.

She took him shopping to get a few new clothes and shoes and he decided he didn't mind her fussing over him. He'd been fussed over by Mrs Weasley and this was reminiscent of that. Did that mean that Mrs Parker would continue to look after him every summer from now on and fuss over him like a mother might? He found he really liked that idea.

"Um.. Mrs Parker." Harry found himself speaking once they'd returned to the hotel room. Mrs Parker unlocked the door and ushered Harry inside. She'd insisted on carrying his new things and laid the bags out on the bed. "Mrs Parker." He spoke a little louder and she looked over at him.

"Yes?" She asked, her tone gentle and inviting.

"I was just wondering.. Should I call you something different? I mean, if I'm-it you want me to live with you I just thought-"

"You can call me May." She smiled sweetly. "Or, if you want, you can call me Aunt May."

"I can-you won't mind if I call you my aunt?" Harry tested, half expecting her to change her mind.

"Of course not, Harry. You can call me whatever you're comfortable with-even if it's just 'hey you'." She joked, a mischievous smile on her kind face. Harry just nodded though.

"Okay." He said stiffly. "I think I would. Like to. Call you Aunt May. That is." Aunt May gave him a watery smile and before Harry really knew what was happening, May was pulling him into a tight hug. It felt nice. Like being hugged by a mother. He held her tighter and tried not to cry.

His attempt to avoid getting too emotional was only successful because not three minutes later did Tony turn back up, causing a much needed distraction.

"Oh, good. You're back here already." Tony stated. "I've got most everything sorted, how about we blow this popsicle stand and head out to London so I can get the jet ready?" He prompted.

Harry stared at him a moment. Almost everything was sorted? Was he really so close to leaving the Dursley's forever?

Meanwhile, back at the ministry of Magic a peculiar report had been brought to Cornelius Fudge's attention. It was a request for international travel documents involving none other than Harry Potter.
