The expected explosion manifested… and then lightning came down from the clear sky, and a brilliant light showed from the crater. The being that rose from it was clearly inhuman, with pale skin, red eyes, and a silvery dress that somehow resembled lace mixed with the foam from a bubble bath.
Louise may have thought it a vampire, but for the searing eyes that it watched her with. "…Professor?"
Colbert nodded. "Go ahead, Louise."
She took a shaky step forwards, and then a firmer one. "H-hey! Do you understand me? I am Louise de la Valliere! I have summoned you to be my familiar! Do you know what that means? I am your master!"
It considered her. Took in her below-average size and height, her wand held in slightly-shaky hands, and the unsurety that was surely written on her face. And then it asked the one question that Louise would never have expected.
"Are you a god?"
Outside the blasphemy of replying in the affirmative, mother had instilled the necessity of being honest with her subordinates. "No…?"
Its face became much more dismissive. "Then… die."
Kirche groaned and opened her eyes, rubbing her forehead. When had she fallen asleep? Let's see… Louise summoning something… Explosion… Weird freaky woman…
Lightning! Kirche immediately sat up straight.
…
For a moment she was sure that she'd hit her head too hard, because Tabitha and Louise couldn't be fighting side-by-side to stop the… thing. But no, this was happening. Tabitha with ice, Louise with explosions. Unfortunately, Louise's 'familiar' was fast and acrobatic, weaving around their attacks and retaliating with bolts of lightning.
Kirche gripped her wand tightly. Louise may be many things, but she was still someone Kirche considered a friend. Right as the thing turned its back towards her, Kirche used the most powerful fire spell that she could cast without speaking. It arced down, and-
Direct hit! The creature hissed loudly before disappearing.
"Kirche." That was Tabitha, who ran over and began fussing. It was really cute, honestly.
Louise, on the other hand, seemed more upset. "You… You just killed my-" she cut herself off. "Sorry. I shouldn't… It was a threat to all of us. I can try the ritual again."
Kirche looked around, taking in unconscious students and Colbert slumped on the ground not far from where he'd been for the entire ritual. "Well. An apology? That's new." Before Louise could open her mouth in outrage, she continued. "I don't mean anything bad by it. After that performance, I dare say if anyone calls you Zero again, I'll duel them on the spot."
"Wha-" Louise almost asked.
"I mean you took care of poor Tabby here all by yourself while I was out! Just look at how worried she was!" Kirche crushed her friend against her chest.
Tabitha glared. Actually glared.
The adorable and passionate moment was shattered completely as Louise's familiar spoke again, seemingly from everywhere at once.
"Subcreatures! Gozer the Gozerian, Gozer the Destructor, Volguus Zildrohar the Traveler has come! Choose and perish!"
"Choose?" Louise asked with a measure of defiance. "Choose what?! What's that supposed to mean?!"
"Choose. Choose the form of the Destructor."
"Trick question," Tabitha muttered. "Think of something and it'll destroy you."
"So don't think of anything?" Kirche asked, getting a nod. "Yeah! Clear your mind!"
"The choice is made."
Ending A:
"Huh? Who thought of something?!" Kirche asked fearfully.
"Um," Louise said.
"Disappointing," Tabitha sighed.
"I didn't!" Louise protested. "I just… prayed! That's all!"
Kirche couldn't help but think there was a hidden joke or irony in Brimir destroying Halkegenia.
Ending B:
Louise and Tabitha turned to glare at Kirche.
"…Yeah, guilty." She shrugged. "On the plus side, I don't know how passion is supposed to destroy us."
As two copulating giants rolled over and crushed the Void Tower, Louise and Kirche scuffled on the ground while Tabitha facepalmed.
Ending C:
Louise and Kirche froze, both looking at each other and not seeing any guilt.
"But-" Kirche started.
"That means-" Louise reached the obvious conclusion.
Tabitha cringed. "Sorry."
"What did you-"
Joseph de Gallia would have an odd surprise in the form of a giant version of himself eradicating his country. It'd be the first—and last—time he'd ever feel emotion: bemusement.
Ending D:
"W-what?!" Louise asked. "No! I wasn't thinking of anything! Kirche? Tabitha?"
Both shook their heads. "Yeah! We weren't thinking of anything!"
"Er." Slowly, the three turned to the boy on the ground. "I'm sorry. I was trying to think of something that couldn't destroy us. Something that maybe we'd even like?"
As breasts the size of the academy began wiping out all life in Halkegenia, Louise strangled 'The Bronze' to death with his own cape while Kirche and Tabitha kicked him.
A/N: Louise summons Gozer the Destructor from Ghostbusters (1984). They may be children but I think magic is superior to proton packs, at least.
Unfortunately there isn't an option to cross the streams.
