By the time Midoriya returned to his friends, Uraraka was taken away by Momo and the rest of the girls for something...

"Anyone see the girls?" Dokusei asked. "Break is almost over." Midoriya and Iida both shook their heads no. Dokusei rubbed the back of his head. "Well shit..." They would have to return without them.

The classes all made their way back to the stadium as Present Mic made some announcements. "Before we get started with the final event, there's good news for those who were eliminated in the preliminaries!" Dokusei's head popped up at that. "In the end, this is a sports festival! So to have everyone continue to be able to participate, we've got some recreational activities for you to enjoy!"

Dokusei, and pretty much everyone else, suddenly stopped. "Just look at how fired up those cheerleaders from America are..." Mic slowly stopped speaking that last sentence. "What the heck?"

"What are they even...?" Aizawa couldn't even finish his.

"What happened to class 1-A!?" All of the girls were dressed in cheer outfits. The cold hard fact of realisation hit every girl, that or embarrassment. Mina and Hagakure seemed to be enjoying it though

"Mineta! Kaminari! You tricked us, didn't you!?" Yaoyorozu was not happy. The two boys, however, were very happy at their prank.

That was until they felt a shadow loom over them. "So..." They slowly turned to see Dokusei behind them. "Who's getting their shots first?" He gave them a fairly creepy fake smile as he raised his clawed hands, dripping with venom.

"I-it was Mineta's idea!" Kaminari yelled as he tried to run for it, but he couldn't. There was a very strong grip on his collar, not letting him go anywhere. "No ple-" he never finished as a chop to the back of the neck put him in a quick nap.

"And where do you think you're going, Rotten Grape?" Mineta, who was trying to escape, froze in place as Dokusei grabbed him. "Time for your medicine!" He injected Mineta with his paralyzing venom. "No more recreational activities for you two."

"At least Sumiteru got our backs," Jiro commented before she threw down the pom poms. "Serves those idiots right..."

Hagakure on the other hand was having fun with it and doing her best to show it. "Well, let's try to make the most out of it." She shook the pom poms about. "Come on, girls, let's give it a go!"

Dokusei rolled his shoulders after he dropped Mineta off somewhere. "Now let's get to the recreational activities!" Present Mic announced. "But before that, let's get to see who's facing who in the final event! The One on One Tournament!"

Midnight walked up to the stage. "Now I'll go over how we'll split everyone up." She pulled out a small box. "We'll be drawing lots. And once the match-ups have been decided, we'll have some fun and move on to the recreations, and then we'll commence!" She smiled as she continued. "If the sixteen contenders want to take part in the activities, we won't stop you, but it is recommended that you save your strength for the tournament." She held up the box high. "Now le-"

"Excuse me, sorry!" Ojiro raised his hand. "I'm requesting to sit this out."

Everyone was looking at him like he was crazy. "Monkey, you sure about this?" Dokusei said.

"Yeah, this is the place to show yourself off to the pros!" Iida tried to convince him otherwise.

"I know that!" Ojiro snapped. "The truth is... I don't remember much from the battle till the very last moments..." His hand slowly came down. "It's probably due to that gen studies kid's quirk..." he almost muttered his last sentence.

Dokusei looked at the General Study kid in question. "He did something to me and Kendo too..."

He clenched his fist and his tail whipped about. "I know... I know this is my big chance, and I'm stupid for throwing this away..." His face became downcast as he continued. "but everyone is going at 100% and I got a free pass I didn't ask for... I don't feel right accepting something I feel like I didn't earn. I just can't do it."

The girls tried to make him reconsider. Dokusei slowly walked towards him. "You don't understand...! This-" He stopped as Dokusei put a hand on his shoulder.

"Your pride and honor is greater than your desire to win and that is very admirable." He removed his hand. "Not many people would have the guts to do that."

Another hand was raised. "I don't remember what happened either, and I would like to withdraw as well..." It was a short, pudgy boy from class 1-B.

Another hand was raised. "Excuse moi, I also don't feel like I deserve to continue..." Aoyama had his face pointed down. "I would like to sit this out..."

Midnight raised her whip with a stern look. "How callow... I'll have you know that greenhorns like you-" she suddenly swung the whip with a crack. "-Get all my love!"

"I hereby recognized Aoyama, Shouda, and Ojiro withdrawing from the tournament!" She pointed to Kendo. "So then the team that placed fifth, Team Kendo, will go on up!"

Kendo looked to her teammates, going back and forth. "I choose... Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu, Dokusei Sumiteru and..." She looked to Shiozaki, but stopped when the green haired girl shook her head no.

"I did underhanded tactics and I do not believe I would be worthy to continue..." She looked to the purple haired gen studies kid. "Besides, I'm sure that vile one deserves a few lashings from you or Sumiteru."

"Ok... thanks, Shiozaki." Kendo looked back to Midnight. " I choose Tetsutetsu, Sumiteru, and myself."

Midnight swung her whip about. "Alright! Now on to the matchups!

Midoriya vs Shinso

Todoroki vs Sero

Ashido vs Sumiteru

Kendo vs Kaminari

Iida vs Hatsume

Tokoyami vs Yaoyorozu

Tetsutetsu vs Kirishima

Uraraka vs Bakugo

Dokusei looked at Mina, and she looked back. "Fuck..." She gave him a confident smile and her eyes said one message. "Don't hold back."

"Who the hell is Uraraka..." Bakugo said not caring to remember names.

Dokusei looked at him with a 'what the fuck' going through his head. "Can't you remember your own classmates' names, Short Fuse?" He didn't get an answer as he walked away, giving Uraraka a pat on the shoulder. She looked scared. "You want to talk for a bit?"

She looked back to him, slightly startled. "Thanks, but I should be fine."

He gave her a smirk. "About what? I just wanted to know if you were going to do any activities."

"Oh! N-No I'm probably just going to sit it out and think what I can do against Bakugo..." She looked at the ground, fiddling with the pom poms.

Dokusei put a finger under her chin and lifted up her head. "Not if you psych yourself out like that." He removed his hand and stared at the field that began to fill with games. "If you let him in your head, he's already won. You've seen him fight and seen him always going all out, but what about yourself?" He looked at her with a slight head tilt. "To me, I haven't seen you go all out yet, and when you do..." –he let out a chuckle– "you'd be terrifying."

"You think I can beat Bakugo?"

"Nope."

"Huh? But you just said I-"

He put a finger up. "I know you can." He put his hand down. "But I also know that Short Fuse can win too." He gave her a smile. "It's all about who can win first."

"Huh..." She looked out to the field, letting thoughts go by. "I never thought of it like that..."

"So, Uraraka." Dokusei got her attention back. "Are you going to win first and show Short Fuse who you are?"

"Hell yeah!" The fire in her eyes was back in full. "I'll win this!"

"There's that fire." He let out a laugh as patted her shoulder. "Now, as much as I'd like to continue chatting, I need to do some stretches and get Pikachu woken up." He walked away and started to drag an unconscious Kaminari by his foot.

While all that was going on, Mina saw their little interaction. "They're just friends..." She was gripping her pom poms very tightly. "They're just friends..." she continued to mutter. The other girls saw this with some worry.

Hagakure leaned over to Yaoyorozu. "Is Ashido ok?"

Yaoyorozu shrugged while Jiro shook her head as she looked at the pink girl. "She won't be if she keeps this up."

Before everyone knew it, the first round of the tournament was upon them. "Alright everybody! Let's get the first match underway!" Present Mic was doing his thing. "We have the boy with a wired face, who did well up till now. From the hero course, Izuku Midoriya!" He looked totally nervous as he walked up to the ring. "Versus–sorry you haven't done anything notable or eye-catching. From general studies, Hitoshi Shinsou!"

Dokusei and the rest of 1-A were looking down from their own section of the bleachers. "Mordy should be fine... but how does this guy's quirk work..." Dokusei muttered aloud. "Wish I had a chance to talk to him..."

"Don't worry about that, I talked with him." Orjiro leaned over in his seat. "I just hope he doesn't fall for it..."

Present Mic and Cementoss were going over the rules about not going overboard and to stop if the ref says to. Dokusei looked to Ojiro. "You have any idea what his quirk is?"

"Some form of brainwashing. I think it happened when I replied to him, but is it just answering questions or replaying in general? That I don't know."

Dokusei tried to remember the last few moments before his mind went blank, before Shinsou got him. "Looking for me?" he remembered him asking. Dokusei got up and climbed over the wall dividing his class and 1-B, just enough to poke his head over. "Hey, Kendo, Tetsutetsu! Do you guys remember what the Bed Head said before he got our points?!"

Both classes were kind of put off by Dokusei's antics, but Kendo answered. "He said something about joining you or along those lines. Why, you figure something out?"

"Did it sound like a question?"

"Yeah it did!" Tetsutetsu yelled out.

"Thank you." He hopped down before Monoma could go on a rant and turned to everyone who looked at him. "Questions. The trigger is questions." He spoke loud enough for class 1-B to hear.

"And start!" Present Mic announced. Dokusei looked to the ring, just in time to see Midoriya running and then suddenly stop.

Dokusei slapped his forehead. "Whelp, he's doomed." He took a seat near Ojiro. "Think of any ways to break it?"

"I think the only way for it to break is to feel pain, but how is he going to do that..."

Midoriya began to turn around and slowly walk to the edge of the ring. "Deku don't..." Uraraka muttered.

"Come on, Mordy! Don't let Bed Head win!" Dokusei slapped his knees as he yelled.

Another step closer.

"Midoriya! Break through the control!" Iida joined in.

Just as his foot was about to hit the line, he stopped. Then suddenly a great force of wind came from him. "What the... Midoriya came to a halt!" Present Mic screamed.

"Holy shit, Mordy!?" Dokusei and his friends got up out of their seats.

"His fingers..." Uraraka covered her mouth.

"He truly is incredible." Iida nodded.

Midoriya turned around, his good hand over his mouth, to keep himself from screaming or replying, and charged at his opponent.

Shinsou looked like he was trying to get Midoriya to talk again, but the green haired boy wonder was not having it.

Midoriya focused more on pushing his opponent out, not without getting slugged across the face though. As he pushed Shinsou back, the purple haired kid kept talking, eventually putting his hand on Midoriya's face, but that was a mistake.

Midoriya did a beautiful over the shoulder arm toss, causing Shinsou's foot to land out of bounds. Midnight called it as Midoriya stared in disbelief. "Yo, isn't that the same move he used on you, Bakugo?" Kaminari asked, bumping his shoulder into the angry bomber.

"Shut it, doorly," was Bakugo's quick reply.

Todoroki and Sero both got up for the next round. Dokusei looked to Mina, who felt his eyes on her. She gave him a wink before turning to one of the girls.

Todoroki and Sero's match was... fast. Sero got the initiative by wrapping Todoroki in his tape and was about halfway to the O.O.B. but Todoroki froze his feet to the ground, stopping himself. The next thing everybody knew was that half of the stadium was covered in ice and a glacier went higher than the whole stadium.

Dokusei sat there dumbfounded. "I guess I should get ready..." He got a lot of yeahs as replies, before getting up and Mina followed. "Good luck, Mina..." he said before they split to the opposite sides.

She stopped and looked back at him. "Yeah, you too."
