After Iida's match, whose opponent just let herself walk out of bounds after she showed off everything, was Tokoyami and Yaoyorozu.

Dokusei shook his head as he saw Yaoyorozu practically not doing anything! She was thinking too much to really do anything, and Tokoyami took advantage of her hesitancy. By the end of that fight Mina returned, still stiff but able to move.

Then Kirishima and Tetsutesu came up. It was a slugging match, and a long one at that. It was then when Midoriya decided to go check on Uraraka. "Sumiteru, would you like to come with me?"

Dokusei gave Mina a quick glance; she looked fine, just having trouble talking; she bit her tongue twice. He then turned to Midoriya. "This fight is going to be a long one, by the looks of it. Might as well see if Care Bear is not psyching herself out again." He got up and followed Midoriya.

By the time they got there they saw Iida talking to her. Uraraka was sitting at the table. "Hey, Uraraka!" Midoriya said as they walked in.

"Deku, Sumiteru!" Uraraka was shocked to see them. "But what about the other matches?"

"Oh they ended rather quickly," Midoriya started.

"It's Red Horns and Iron Hide right now, so it's going to be a while before the next fight." Dokusei finished

Uraraka looked at her hands. "So the next match will be..."

"Care Bear." Dokusei gained her attention. He tapped his temple a few times, telling her to remember.

"Right... sorry... this is just... few..." She let out a sigh

"Maybe Bakugo will be considerate and go easy on her?" Iida thought out loud.

"He won't." Both Dokusei and Uraraka said at the same time.

"Everyone is giving it their all and aiming to be number one to achieve their dreams," Midoriya stated. "So it's inconceivable for Kacchan to go easy on anyone, let alone a girl." He began to pull out a booklet from the back of his pants. "You helped me so many times, Uraraka. So I thought of a few ways to help you." He showed them the booklet. "I devised a strategy on how to beat Kacchan based on your quirk! It's super last minute and there's some stuff that needs to be buffed out... but this is all I came up with!"

Dokusei and Iida were a bit surprised by this. "Oho! You must be pleased by this, Uraraka!" the latter said.

Uraraka slowly looked up. "Deku... thank you..." She looked at him with a kind smile. "But... I'll be alright." She looked back to her hands. "You are really amazing, Deku! You already got a spotlight on you!" Her fist began to clench. "Back in the Cavalry Battle I said I wanted to team up with friends, but if I'm being honest with myself, I was hoping you would pull the weight again..." She slowly began to rise out of her seat. "So when Iida said he wanted to challenge you, I was a little ashamed of myself."

"Uraraka..." Midoriya tried to say something while Iida and Dokusei looked at each other with some worry.

She began to walk to the door. "That's why it's all right!" She turned back to them with a smile and a thumbs up. "So let's meet up in the final match!"

"Uraraka," Dokusei said before she could open the door. She looked back to see him smiling at her. "Kick his ass, and go beyond!"

"Plus Ultra!" Midoriya and Iida both encouraged her with their fists raised high.

She looked shocked before a wide, genuine smile spread across her face. "Plus Ultra!"

Kirishima and Tetsutetsu's match ended in a draw. Uraraka was walking up to the ring not paying attention to the crowd or Mic, just her opponent. Katsuki Bakugo, not an easy guy at all. One of the strongest students in her class if not their entire grade. He could blow her away in an in-"Don't let him in your head. If you do that, he's already won." Dokusei's words reappeared in her mind before she could go further down that rabbit hole.

She took a deep breath remembering her friends' encouragement. "Go beyond... plus ultra... go beyond... plus ultra..." she muttered to herself. "I won't lose today..." She saw her opponent walking up his side of the ring. "And if I do... I'll go down swinging!"

"This is your only chance, Round Face." Bakugo gave her a strong glare. "Back out now; an "ouch" isn't going to save you here."

She didn't say anything, just returned his glare with one of her own, and got down into a sprinter's stance.

"She only has one option in this..." Dokusei said as he watched from afar.

"What is that?" Mina asked.

"An all out assault." He leaned forward, his elbows on his knees, and interlocked his fingers together right in front of his face. "You'll need to overwhelm Short Fuse if you want to win."

"I'm hearing a but coming..."

"Short Fuse is not only deadly in mid rage, he's even more dangerous in close quarters as well."

"So she's doomed..." Her shoulders sank.

"I never said that." Dokusei gave her a smirk. "She's a lot stronger and craftier than you give her credit for."

"START!" Mic began the match.

Uraraka charged, staying low to the ground. "Fuck that!" Bakugo wasn't even phased as he pulled his right hand back. "There! He always leads with his right!" He unleashed an explosion; Uraraka dodged at the last minute. The explosion kicked up a lot of smoke and rubble.

Bakugo saw the blue color of the UA sport jacket and pounced on it. "Don't underestimate me!" As his hand hit its target, his hand kept falling and hit the ground. "Huh?"

From the smoke Uraraka charged from behind. "I will get you!" She saw him about to sweep an explosion towards her and rolled out of the way, just barely missing it. But she got closer than Bakugo would've liked.

Before he could do more, she slugged him across the face with a right hook. The crowd roared in shock and rage flashed in his eyes, "You bitch!" He readied another right, but Uraraka was a bit faster. She slid between his legs as the exploration erupted over her.

However, before she could get up, another explosion hit her, sending her rolling away. "Damnit..." She got up and took a few breaths. "Go... beyond..." she muttered before bolting at him again, keeping low just as before. As she charged she remembered what Midoriya said about Dokusei's fight. "...uses his kicks to set up his opponent for him to deliver his toxins with a devastating blow..." She dodged another explosion, dragging her hand across the ground as she did. "Need to set up... get him into position..."

She was launched back again after trying to get closer. The large amount of dust and smoke constantly being kicked up kept her hidden, but the moment she revealed herself, she would be blasted into next week. "Have to think of something different while I'm still setting it up..." She charged in once more, getting an explosion to the face, but she managed to slide under it and to the side, but still not able to get closer.

She then saw a slab of rubble, that wasn't distorted, next to her. A light bulb went off in her head. "That could work...!" She grabbed the slab.

"I can't watch this..." Mina covered her eyes but opened her fingers a bit to see.

Dokusei barely moved as he watched, wincing a bit when he saw a heavy hit. "What is she planning..." He looked over the ring a few times. A lot of dust and smoke was in the air, limiting his visibility, but he saw one thing, or the lack of it. "Where's the rubble...?"

His question got everyone to look at him before they too began looking, only to see there was barely any of it at all. "Kacchan isn't using that powerful of a blast to turn them all into dust, but... there is a lot of smoke in the way. Maybe that's why we can't see it?" Midoriya gave his answer.

"Maybe..." Another explosion went off. Uraraka dodged this one but was still barred from getting closer. Smoke and dust covered her, making her disappear again.

Everyone thought she was going to charge again, but that changed when a big slab of concrete came rocketing from the smoke towards Bakugo.

Surprise was as clear as day on Bakugo's face. He quickly brought up both hands and blasted the slab to smithereens. And that's exactly what Uraraka wanted.

She came out of the smoke on his flank, right as he set off the explosion. He was committed to his attack on the slab, leaving him open for Uraraka to deliver another punch to the face and one more to his gut. She was going in for another swing when she was blasted off him.

Dokusei watched as she slowly got up. The crowd started to boo at Bakugo and wanted the ref to call the match. As this happened she kept charging. Dokusei decided to lean back and look away for a moment, and that's when he saw it. "Guys... I found the rubble..." He pointed to the sky and everyone saw that a massive amount of rubble was floating in the air, right above Bakugo. Dokusei began to chuckle. "She's insane!"

Uraraka charged again while the crowd was booing; she could hear Aizawa chastising them, but she didn't care. Her target was in position; she saw her opening! She brought her hands together and yelled at the top of her lungs, "RELEASE!"

The whole stadium went quiet.

Bakugo looked up and saw all the rubble she collected began to fall towards him. He quickly brought his hands up to the sky, and with a yell of his own, unleashed his biggest explosion yet.

Uraraka saw that the shockwave alone would knock her back, so she hopped into one of the many craters, preventing her from flying away. As soon as the wave was over, she shot up and was on Bakugo before he knew it. She didn't care that her trump card was gone and wasted. It was all a means for her to get closer while he spent his energy on everything she threw at him.

She let out a roar as she punched him in the face again. She saw him raising his right hand; it was shaking and much slower, so much slower she was able to side step the explosion, grab his wrist with all five fingers, and deliver a punch to his gut, knocking the wind out of him. She began to toss the now weightless Bakugo over her shoulder, just like how Midoriya had done twice before. "YOU'RE THROUGH!" she yelled as she slammed him hard into the ground.

Silence was all she heard from a moment. "Why hasn't Midnight called it...!?" She looked at his feet; one was close but it wasn't out of bounds. Before she could do anything, an explosion hit her and sent her over the line. She laid there in shock.

"Uraraka is out of bounds. Bakugo advances to the next round." Midnight let out a breath she didn't know she was holding.

The realization hit her more than any makeshift meteor shower she made ever could. "Mommy... Daddy..." Tears built up in her eyes. "I'm so sorry..." She felt the med bots put her on a stretcher and haul her off.

Dokusei let out a long sigh before getting up. "Yo, Sumiteru, where you headed!?" Kaminari asked.

"My next match is after Mordy and Pokéball's, so I'm going to clear my head and prep," Dokusei replied. Midoriya quickly joined him, realising that his match was after the tiebreaker.

The two walked down the hallway. Midoriya was lost in thought and was spooked when Bakugo shouted at him. "The fuck you doing here, Deku!?"

"I-I... umm... my match is next so... I'm going to the waiting room..." Midoriya slightly cowered under Bakugo's fierce gaze. "Congrats on the win..." He began to turn, very shaky. "W-Welp... bye!"

They managed to move about two feet before Bakugo barked out a question. "Was it you two who put that stupid plan in her head?" They turned back to him. "The one that made her attack so recklessly!?"

Dokusei chuckled. "Nope." He gave him a cocky smile. "That plan was all hers. And I see she got in a few good licks in too." He pointed to the bruises on Bakugo's face. "The plan she had was much better than whatever me or Mordy could have come up with."

"Tch... whatever." He left without much more.

"Asshole..." Dokusei muttered before walking away.

It wasn't long till they hit the waiting room. Surprisingly Uraraka was there, sitting at the table with a new jacket in front of her. "Well damn, guess I lost." She forced out a laugh as she rubbed the back of her head. Dokusei could see her phone in her other hand.

Both Midoriya and Dokusei stood there a little dumbfounded, or a lot in Midoriya's case.

"I thought I had him, but I guess I got a little too carried away, damnit..."

"Care Bear/Uraraka," the boys said at the same time.

"Are you... are you hurt?" Midoriya walked up to the table.

"Yeah, you took one hell of a beating out there." Dokusei took a seat on the other side of the table.

"Recovery Girl got the worst of it" –she pointed to the bandage on her cheek– "she wanted me to be able to watch the rest of the festival, so she left a few nicks and bruises here and there." She then shook her fist about. "God. Bakugo is really damn strong! He really annihilated me!"

"It wasn't a completely one sided fight." Dokusei got her attention. "You really put Short Fuse on the back foot for a while, and that arm throw, although a bit amateurish, was awesome."

"Yeah that thing you did with all the rubble was amazing!" Midoriya added.

"Thanks, guys..." Her cell phone beeped a few times, but she ignored it. "Deku... you always look ahead and... and..." She had a sad smile on her face as she looked down at the table. "And because I lost, I can't stand to lose again. So I'm going to get even better from now on!" She looked up, forcing a smile.

Before Dokusei or Midoriya could say anything more, Mic announced the tiebreaker for Kirishima and Tetsutetsu. About a minute or two and it was over. "Damn that was fast..." Midoriya began to make his way to the door. "I better get going..." He didn't want to leave, but when he looked at Dokusei, he relaxed when the toxic boy gave him a wink.

"Ahh, sorry, Deku!" Uraraka suddenly got out of her seat. "Because of me you weren't able to prepare at all!" But she gave him a genuine smile. "I'll watch, so do your best!" He nodded and left without a word.

Uraraka's smile broke a bit but Dokusei was still in the room with her, so it was replaced with a fake one. "S-Shouldn't you be going back to the stands...?" she stuttered a bit.

"My match is after Midoriya's," he said, not moving.

"Oh... right..."

Dokusei let out a sigh and got up. The action caused Uraraka to let out a small sigh of her own and closed her eyes. She thought he was heading to the door, but that changed when she was suddenly pulled into a hug. "S-Sumiteru! W-What-" She tried to pull back.

"I can see it very clearly, Uraraka, you're upset." This stopped her from pulling away. "I know a fake smile when I see one."

"H-How...?" She returned the hug, feeling the tears in her eyes building up again.

"My best friend is Mina Ashido," was his answer.

"Oh..." Her phone beeped again.

"Answer it," he said. "They're probably worried."

She pulled her phone to her face and flipped it open. "Hey... sorry for dropping the call, dad."

Dokusei couldn't hear the other half of the conversation, only how Uraraka reacted. It sounded like they were praising her. "No... it wasn't close... it wasn't incredible... at the end I got too careless and did have a back up plan for when the first failed..." Dokusei tightened his grip on her a bit but said nothing. "I got slaughtered..."

More talk he couldn't hear, but he felt wet tears beginning to stain his jacket. "But I wasn't able to advance... I-I couldn't show off how I'd handle different types of... people..." She took a quick breath. Dokusei took this moment to put his hand on her head and slowly stroke her hair. "A-and there's no way scouters will get what I'm about with just one fight..."

"What are you in such a hurry for?" Dokusei heard that.

"D-Don't you understand...!?" The dam was about to break soon. "I've got to do good by you two... as soon as I..." Her words fell dead in her throat as she choked up more.

Dokusei wasn't able to hear much more, but he did hear the last set of words her father said. "I know that my sweet, kind Ochako will no doubt become a great hero." The dam broke at that and Uraraka openly wailed. Her legs gave out as she latched onto Dokusei, causing him to let out a grunt as they lowered to the floor. "Ochako? You still there?" Dokusei heard the phone near him, seeing it on the ground. Uraraka must have dropped it when she grabbed onto him.

Dokusei grabbed it and put it up to his ear. "Hello, sir, um... Uraraka is currently breaking down," he started. "I'll have her call you back when she's calmed down."

"Ah, just like her mother..." Her father sounded like he was reminiscing. "Anyway thank you for looking after my daughter; you'll be a good boyfriend for her!"

"DAD!" Apparently she heard that.

Dokusei just looked at the wall in pure horror. "Y-Yes, sir..." He closed the phone and handed it back to Uraraka.
