Kido, after the events of the anime, was suggested to write in a diary to vent out emotionally when she didn't want to talk to anyone else. even after the snakes plans were stopped, strange things had been happening and no one knows why. it's like reading her diary first hand with everything described from how they were seen, ranging from everyday life to the off happenings

5. halloween

Chapter 5: halloween

Date: 31st October 20XX

Time: midnight

Dear diary

Tonight was a long night, people came up dressed in all sorts of Halloween themed monsters and creatures. Kano seemed in his element and he seemed to get on well with everyone who came to the front door. He even told bad jokes, not that I'd tell him but some even made me laugh. Seto took Marie with him to go trick or treating, she went dressed a maid saying that she didn't want to scare people. She's so kind like that and Seto escorted her dressed up like a butler. Seto was funny wearing something so formal even when it suited him so well. Hibiya, Momo, Ene and Konoha went around and said they'd meet up with Marie and Seto around midnight. Momo was dressed like an undead idol, Hibiya as a mini Dracula, Konoha as a ghoul and Ene had pale white make up on claiming she was Konoha then walked like a zombie. It was really nice seeing them all get along. I wonder who'd get the most candy.

While everyone did that, I stayed in the living room watching movies. Kano during the moments of peace would try to get me scared and make me jump during the tense moments in the movie. He was being his usual irritating self, playful, carefree and still wearing that silly smile of his. It was all nice to see from him, especially since every one of them was the real thing. He may not have told but he didn't have to. Id be going to be once I make sure that everyone is home, safe and sound. I hope they don't fight over the candy they managed to get. After tonight, I'll need to start plans for the not so distant future.
