Kido, after the events of the anime, was suggested to write in a diary to vent out emotionally when she didn't want to talk to anyone else. even after the snakes plans were stopped, strange things had been happening and no one knows why. it's like reading her diary first hand with everything described from how they were seen, ranging from everyday life to the off happenings

Chapter 7: where are you?

Date: 16th November 20XX

Time: 11pm, roughly

Dear diary

After Hibiya's birthday I decided to take it upon myself to search for Hiyori during the day. Sad to say, my efforts came out fruitless, I wasn't able to find any clues to where she may have been seen. With help from Kano, who insisted that he joins me, asked around too. No one had seen her and it brings me great sadness that one of our friends is hurting like this. Ayano, big sis, comforted everyone who wasn't on the search in the hopes of one day finding her once again. We had the idea to search the places that Hiyori was before she disappeared and unfortunately the search led to another dead end, with no idea if she returned just like we did or otherwise.

It was like she disappeared from the face of the earth like everyone else who went missing around the same time as the phenomenon. I wonder if that place is where they all end up and if she's still alive in there. If she is then maybe, we can find a way to rescue her but we don't know how to get there to confirm this idea. I should keep this idea to myself until I can at least find an entrance to that place and not get everyones hopes up too high. Got to keep things positive for everyones sake and my own.
